👤I've been using fitness trackers for several years, starting with the Microsoft Band, Microsoft Band 2, and now the Garmin Venu. I like fitness-focused devices more than smart watches like the Apple Watch or theSamsungGalaxy Watch because I have never really seen the appeal of using a tiny screen on my wrist to read news or navigate a map. It's more important to me that the device tracks my sleep, heart rate, steps and workouts, and that it does all of those things, than it is to install add-ons or apps. I'm quite happy with my Venu after a couple weeks of ownership, but there are a few things that need to be fixed. The battery life is good. With the always on display mode disabled and pulse ox tracking enabled only while sleeping, I'm getting more than five days on a charge. The raise-to-wake function is responsive enough to not bother you, but you can also have the display on during activities only, which provides a compromise between maximum battery life and maximum ease of use. The accuracy of the gps device is generally good. It seems to be a noticeable improvement compared to the Fitbit Ionic, which was pretty good but had a tendency to cut corners. You can change the layout, order and number of screens on the workout display. I haven't made many changes yet, but I like having the option, and I like having multiple screens with several fields per screen, compared to the Ionic's limited selection. It seems like heart rate accuracy is great. DC Rainmaker's tests showed good results and it feels right to me. I like the fitness oriented features like auto step goal, and I haven't yet used the latter. It's one of the few devices that has a touch screen and I still prefer it. When it's raining or you're swimming, the Venu software seems well designed to avoid the problems that can be caused by the finnicky touch on fitness devices. There's no way to stop an activity using the touch screen, which is a common problem on Apple Watches. The watch has built-in support for a lot of different activities, all of which have first-class support on the Garmin Connect website and also sync properly with Strava. The biggest annoyances with the Fitbit Ionic were that it lacked support for skiing and snowboarding, and that the website wouldn't export activities without gps data. In the weatherwidget, phone notifications seem to work reliably. It's nice to have a weather app that works now that the weather app on my device never worked. There are third party apps on the Connect IQ store. I haven't used it yet, but I like the idea of being able to add custom data fields to activities. The price! $400 is a lot of money, especially when you can get an Apple Watch series 3 for less than $200. Although I have a lot of gripes about the watch, it's still a pretty good watch if you don't mind some of the activity-specific limitations. I wouldn't buy into their system now that they've been bought by Google. You can't distinguish between normal bike rides and eBike rides in Connect because there is no eBike activity. Even though it supports many different types of cycling, you can't set this later on the website. Even though other devices with the same gps chip and accelerometer support open water swimming, there is no open water swimming support. I don't think there's any reason this watch couldn't support open water swimming, but it's not a price difference. It feels anachronistic that Apple always releases new WatchOS updates to older devices, and it's annoying that Garmin does this. The software features that could have been included on this device are not included. Since they're licensing these features from FirstBeat, they probably pay more per feature, but at least giving us the option to pay for that extraFunctionality without dropping another $200+ on a Fenix device would have been nice. The Fenix 6 series does not have a glance view. When you're looking for a specific one, scrolling through a lot of different things can be a challenge. The sleep tracking accuracy is not very good. It's more of an art than a science when it comes to determining sleep quality, but it seems that Fitbit is better at it. I get readings from a finger-clip device, and "Body Battery" seems to be useless. There is no way to separate notifications from other apps. You have to manually enable other apps to prevent you from getting dozens of notifications on your wrist, but that is clever by Fitbit, which only defaults to calls and texts and maybe a few others. It's either on or off with the device. The notifications for most apps just show a generic icon based on the app's category, rather than the actual app icon, which is what Fitbit shows. TheGorilla Glass screen doesn't seem to be very strong. Even though I've been taking extra care not to damage my new toy, I have a small scratch on it. Buy a screen guard. The Connect IQ Store app has been broken since I got the watch. The main app is not working. You can install apps from the Connect IQ website. I don't really care about smartwatch apps, but the Connect IQ app ecosystem is not good, and a lot of the apps have poor design. That might seem like a lot of "cons" for a 4-star review, but they're not. The Venu feels like an upgrade from my previous watch, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fitness-focused watch at a reasonable price point. $400 is still a bit of money for a smart watch, but the Venu is affordable compared to the MARQ series, and it is still reasonable. If you're looking for a more detailed analysis from a more serious athlete, check out DC Rainmaker's impressions, I won't link to it, but if you search for "Garmin Venu with AMOLED Display: Everything You Ever Wanted", you'll find it

👤The original Vivoactive was losing battery life, so I upgraded it to this watch. The battery life was a big selling point for this watch. I did two 5 mile runs in the first 2 weeks and it was at 30% by the end of the 2 weeks. I didn't think I would like it, but I like it. I'm used to large watches. This one is small but not as large as I'm used to. The size is right. I've only used it for running and biking. The suggested workouts feature has not been used by me. The notifications use a light background and a short vibration. The buttons are easy to use. I did an extensive move after I got this watch, and it got banged around a bit, but no marks or scratches on it. If you want a lot of features on the watch, you should not get it. If you want long battery life, accurate gps tracking, and good sleep/health/heart rate tracking, you should get this watch. I would make this choice again.
👤There is an update. The watch has undergone several software updates and the battery life has improved to what was promised. It has mostly stopped the sudden, steep drops in battery life (no more going to bed with it at 80% and waking up to 40%). I think the software updates helped. When I bought it, it was v1.something. The first few times I charged this watch, the battery life was amazing. The charges have gone from 2 weeks to 30 hours since then. I have removed several features that are supposed to improve battery life. I used it for a workout and the battery went from full to 40%. In the last 4 hours, it has dropped from 40% to 30%.
👤I got this watch with great expectations. I like the look, but I would have liked it to have a "Strength Workout" or "Gym" activity profile. The battery life is my greatest disappointment. Within 3 days of getting my brand new watch, it was obvious that my battery was draining and I was not using it. I would be lucky to have a few days of battery life. I was told that a software update was pending after I made contact with the company. After some help, my battery life improved, but now it seems to be draining again. I made contact with the company again and waited for a response. It's very disappointing for a watch that's not even two weeks old.
👤I have never owned a watch like this before. I was looking for a replacement for that that died on me a couple weeks ago. I didn't want to use a tracker again and decided to use a tracker from Garmin. I settled on the Forerunner 55 after looking at many models. It had everything I wanted. A quality brand with HR, sleep tracking, notifications and - like most Garmin products - has a good reputation of being a great fitness tracker among other things. For the watch itself. The first thing I noticed was that it was small. It was about 10mm smaller than my Ionic. I like a watch that covers my wrist, so this was already a problem for me. I knew that the watch didn't have a touch screen, but I was willing to give it a try even though it didn't have a physical button on the side of the watch. I didn't like having to press buttons. It took me 30 pushes of buttons to wake me up. I found it to be cumbersome and inefficient. The display doesn't look like a touch screen. It isn't very bright and doesn't have a bright color indoors. The display is quite dim and it was difficult to see. You can increase the display's brightness by pressing a button, but it's not that great of a difference. The watch face was set to pure white. They looked like a dull grey. After seeing how dim the display was indoors, I went outside to see what it would look like in the sun, and it was even brighter thanks to the reflective properties of the display. It made the display look like I would want it to be all the time - bright white and dark black. It doesn't have a bright touchscreen so it's the biggest drawbacks for me. When I lifted or twisted my wrist, the screen would come on. I was able to see the display clearly. If I wanted to see the time I had to push a button to increase the brightness. It seems like an unnecessary thing to have to do. Unless you're outside, it's not an issue. The watch is nice, even though it is not perfect. It looked like good quality. It was responsive when entering commands. The companion phone app is better than the Fitbit's, it comes with a lot of apps and features. I didn't use this watch for a full day before I decided it wasn't for me. There was nothing against the watch. I would probably think it was a great watch if I continued to use it. It was not for me for the things I mentioned. If the display looked the same when it was in the sun.
The RuggedGPS watch is built to endure the toughest environments. The standard for thermal, shock and water resistance is U.S. Military standard 810G. Multiple global navigation satellite systems (GPS, Glonass and Galileo) support helps track in more challenging environments. Train with activity profiles and monitor your heart rate. Silicone is the material of the strap. Automatic data uploads to the online fitness community and smart notifications with a compatible phone are some of the things you can do to stay connected. Use the trackback feature to navigate the same route back to your starting point, and use the explore website and app to plan your trips in advance. Up to 14 days in the watch mode, up to 16 hours in the gps mode, and up to 40 hours in the Ultratrac battery saver mode.
👤I have been on a frustrating activity tracker and smart watch journey. I was looking for something that didn't seem right. I like to hunt, hike, bike, and occasionally run. An accurate altimeter, barometer, andGPS are things that are very important to me. The first thing I bought was the Fenix 3 HR. I thought I had found the one that was impressive in the beginning. The issue was the altimeter. It wasn't accurate. I waited for the Fenix 5. Same issue. It was worse than the 3. I was told to put the watch in warm soapy water. I continued to experience the same issue even after this seemed to reset it back to normal. I decided not to put my watch in a warm glass of soapy water every night. The 5 plus appeared to solve the issues. But then, garmin made a change to the Instinct. This watch has caught my eye so far. It is light and comfortable. The Fenix watches are large and heavy to wear. You forget you are wearing a watch. The features are great. It has everything I need. I don't care about some of the measurements the Fenix gives you. Some people have commented on the display. I don't agree. It would be similar to E Ink from a book. It is a pleasure to look at and readable. It is black and white. The keys are easy to use. The menus are very fast. You can use the settings to get where you want. The buttons are very good and I have not accidentally pressed one while bending my wrist. The accuracy of the ABC sensors is still being tested but so far it is looking great. I can not say enough about this watch. It seems like a great model from Garmin that will fit in with the niche hunting/outdoors market. I will give an update in a month. I have had this watch for a few weeks and have taken it on several hunting trips. I am very impressed with this watch. This watch is light and comfortable. I think I forgot how nice it is to wear a watch that you forget is attached to your wrist, because I have been wearing heavier watches over the years. I didn't like wearing my watches to bed. I would get into my wrist because it was too bulky. Tracking seems to be accurate. When you are tracking an activity, the attitude has been accurate. What I like about this watch is it is comfortable. It is lightweight and responsive. Menus and screen. The buttons arecessed to avoid Accidental Presses. I only have a few complaints and suggestions to improve the watch. When you lock the keys, you can hold any button for a short time in order tounlock the watch. The amount of time it takes to hold the button is too long. It takes about half a second for it to be unlocked currently. This is a small complaint. The screen is a proprietary material. I would like it to be a display made of sapphires. You can't tell if there is a screen protector on the face because I put one on it. The battery indicator should show a percentage as opposed to the 5 bars in a battery indicator. It would be nice if they changed that. Please ask me questions. I would be happy to answer. Over the years, I've done a lot of research on these watches and believe I have finally found the perfect watch for my needs. I've used all of the watches. This is my favorite watch. An absolutely great watch is still available. Every single day, this watch is on my wrist. It is still very comfortable. I have had a couple issues that I will address. It is a button on the watch. The watch was still under warranty. The watch was replaced quickly. They received an A+ for their customer service. I would be SOL if it had gone out after the warranty period. I think it is a one year warranty. I use this watch a lot. It is always worn. It has held up very well. I still think it is an amazing watch for the price. The lock feature on the watch is one of the issues I stated in the review. You can lock the screen. It is very easy to get it unlocked by bending your wrist and hitting a button. This could be a simple fix. The amount of time required to press a button is not a problem. It doesn't happen very often. It can be very frustrating if it does during an activity. This will be my last update. I will buy another watch whenever this one dies because it has been an amazing watch for me. I hope the watch continues to be improved. All the boxes are checked for my needs.
You can use your watch to pay for purchases with your cards from participating banks. Personalize your watch with thousands of free watch faces, apps and widgets from their Connect IQ store. There are more than 15 indoor and outdoor sports apps. The material of the lens, rear cover, and case are all made of glass.
👤I have used my Vivoactive HR for two and a half years and this was to be a replacement. The HR was perfect for me as a runner, it was just what I needed, a sturdy gps Wearable. I had high hopes for the 3rd edition. It feels flimsy compared to the HR. It feels like a cheap plastic. The band is very thin. The function of the vivoactive 3 is less intuitive than the HR. I had to scroll through more screens to get to the function I was looking for. The touch screen is very sensitive. It started scrolling through the menus when I brushed up against it. I locked the screen to prevent this from happening, and then unlocked the watch to use it, but only after I was able to view my messages. The battery life was disappointing. My HR lasted a week or more on one charge. A 12 mile run consumed 25% of the battery. I was concerned it would be too much to make a full marathon. I charged the watch before I went to sleep one night, and it was already down to less than 98% by the time I woke up the next morning. I returned it because I thought something was loose and I heard a loud rattling inside the watch that should not have been there. I don't think the starting price should be over $200 because it feels so cheap. I decided to pay a bit more and go with the Fenix 5, and I am very satisfied with it.
👤My experience with Tech- Boutique has been absolutely amazing, so I would give it a 10 or 5 stars. Tech-Boutique is an authorized retailer of the device. Everything was securely wrapped and included in the box that my watch came in. Tech-Boutique sent their own card. The watch is stunning, not a single scratch, ding, or imperfection to be found; I am still not entirely convinced that this is a new unit. The battery has a good life, it charged from less than 50% to 98% in 30 minutes. The style is minimal without being boring, the accuracy is top-notch, and the watch and Connect app is intuitive. Tech-Boutique and the Garmin vivoactive 3 are both recommended.
👤The battery is not the worst. There are hundreds of watch faces for this thing. I am very impressed with the intuitive function. If you're interested in buying this, buy it. You get more for your money. 3.5 months in. When the watch is working correctly, I still love it. The heart rate monitor is not very reliable. The sleep monitor is not very good. The app is good, but there is more to be done to catch up with Fitbit for sleep tracking and auto detection. I would consider a newer version of the watch if it had a glitch. The golf function is the best part of this watch. It is very good. The issues I was having were great, I contacted the seller. I contacted the seller about the warranty. They took care of my issues. The service was great and I was happy all the way around.
The gps running watch has advanced training features and is made of glass. You can easily store and play your favorite songs with music streaming services. Evaluates your current training status to indicate if you are undertraining or overdoing it. You can get free adaptive training plans from the coach, or you can create your own custom workouts. Provides advanced running dynamics, including ground contact time balance, stride length, vertical ratio and more. Tracking and safety features include incident detection, which sends your real-time location to emergency contacts through your compatible phone. The battery life is up to 7 days in the wristwatch mode. The physical size was 42.3 x 42.3 x 12.2. The wrist has a circumference of 127-194 millimeter. The display is 1.2 inch (30.4 millimeter) in diameter.
👤A bit about me. I've owned several older watches from other companies, including the Forerunner 235, Fenix 3 and Fenix 5X. I bike indoors 1-2x per week and run 25-35 miles a week. Stryd Live footpod 4 is what I use. I sync my data to Strava and it has been a great watch. It's a huge watch with a lot of great features, but I didn't use it all. It doesn't have music, which I really wanted. I don't like carrying around my phone while running so the idea of a watch that had that feature was appealing. - I wasn't ready to pay over $600 for the music feature. I was looking at the Forerunner , but it was expensive, and the Vivoactive 3 is not a pure running watch. The Forerunner 245 Music was released in May of 2019. The screen is Gorilla Glass 3, which is less likely to scratch than some older Forerunners, and it's lightweight and barely noticeable on my wrist. You can load pre-designed courses, workouts, and training plans. I like the fact that the 245 can hold 500 songs and can be used with Deezer and other music services. I decided to downsize from the extremely large and heavy Fenix 5X to this watch. I don't regret the decision, but I would like the size of the Forerunners to be somewhere in between. If you're not running ultras, the battery life for this watch is fine. I'd be willing to give up a little weight in exchange for a bigger battery to keep this one going longer between charges. The barometric altimeter is not a must have for me in Florida, but it allows me to measure elevation and stairs climbed, which may be less accurate than using a gps device. I haven't experienced this when running, but it did start to cut in and out while I was walking. My assumption is that this happens because the antenna on the watch is too far away from my ears when I'm walking, as opposed to closer to my chest when I'm running. 99% of the time, I'll be running while listening to music. I have read that one solution is to make sure the watch is on the same side of your body as the antenna for your headset. If you're having the same issue, you might want to try that. I continue to like this watch and my overall rating hasn't changed. I've found it to be very accurate when running and the battery life is holding strong. I have not scratched it since I bought it. If you're like most people and have a Prime membership, you'll love the added Amazon Music support to the watch. I had an issue with my heart rate reading while riding my indoor bike. My heart rate reading will be below my actual heart rate and won't budge much after that. I'm hoping that they come up with a solution soon. The Mpow Flame2 is a good pair of headphones. They maintain strong connection while running.
Gps running watch with training plan. The easy to use running watch estimates heart rate at the wrist and has aGPS to track your pace, distance, intervals and more. You can use the free coach training plans that bring expert, personalized coaching to your wrist. Tracking and safety features include incident detection which sends your real time location to emergency contacts through your compatible phone. There are sports apps for running, cycling, indoor track, treadmill, elliptical, yoga and more. Up to 7 days in the wristwatch mode and 14 hours in the gps mode.
👤The Foreunner 45s are in White. I want to compliment the customer support of the company and give them an A+ rating before I discuss the specifics of the watches themselves. They have always replaced the watches if they can't resolve the watch issues. If you have a difficult technical issue, you can always call Eric, a tech rep that can answer the question and get you on your way. Amazon support is the best in class. I have always found the watches from Garmin to be more accurate. How do I know? My wife's Versa registered almost 4-miles while my wife's Fitbit registered 3.1 miles around the high school track. My wife was upset when I told her she over estimated her runing distances. I told her that I'm just the messenger. The 45s will have a smaller profile at 39mm. I know it will be big enough for an old man to read it on the fly. The accuracy and longevity of the watches made by the company is making them more attractive. I will give you a run down of how it performs during tennis and pickleball matches after I receive my white 45s. Stay informed.
👤After about 4 months, my 45 died. Absolutely dead. Nothing worked. Customer support was the place I contacted them. They will replace it. They sold me back to them at my expense after I shipped the faulty watch. They will not ship me the replacement until they get the piece of shit they sold me. I don't have to pay to send this watch back to them because I didn't use it after 4 months.
👤I bought this watch to track my running workouts. The appearance is great. The height is thinner than older, clunky Garmins, and the diameter is perfect for my medium sized men's wrist. I like how the watch face is always on, but not always visible, with the option to push a button to heighten illumination. Recording a workout is simple, it takes a few minutes to lock on, but start/stop, laps, save, etc. are all easy to do. Once I downloaded the apps to my phone, I could sync my workouts to the Garmin. The heart rate monitor is accurate. The faces are clear. The weather is even told by it. The watch band is too flexible, sometimes hard to thread into the clasp, is my only negative. It might be more rigid. I think this watch is good.
👤I got a 39mm one. I think the smaller the better because I have a small wrist. The screen has a big size that makes it easy to glance over while running. The color was not purple. Still very nice! It was easy to figure out functions. garmin app is required to have your phone and watch in sync. You save and use your phone garmin app when you complete your run or walk. All of your data can be seen. There are many options to upload from there. I have kept this for a few weeks and have run a lot. The battery life was not an issue. Some people complained about the flexible rubber wrist band, but I liked it. You know about the rep of Garmin. I got a watch for my first marathon. Very pleased so far!
Warm heart rate monitoring gives you heart rate all day and night, no additional strap is required. There are helpful vibration alert that notify you of running prompt, activity tracking milestones, smart notifications and virtual pacing progress. A new high resolution display is perfect for viewing indoors or outdoors. Automatic updates, smart notifications, live track, music controls, and auto uploads are some of the things that are smart.
👤I just wear the watch to work, and I couldn't imagine a better watch for a nurse. The battery lasts for over a month when the gps is turned off. "If you're not going to use the super accurate gps, why get a gps?" you ask. 1. The step counter is reliable. When I go on a loop run, I use the watch with the gps both off and on, and the step counter calculates the exact same distance as the gps. I don't really care if the route is in the app or not, I just run a loop. 2. The display is always on. To get the display to turn on, you have to flip your wrist up hard. I need to look at the display when my hands are in weird positions. 3. The clock shows military time or healthcare time. My watch doesn't work. Tsk, tsk, tsk 4. I can set multiple alarms with the alarm. The little running man button has a shift function. You can end your indoor run as soon as you compete your task to be timed. There is no timer on this device. 5. The battery life lasts forever. It's normal to have 8 to 12 weeks. It lasted for 3 months. It's crazy. It lasts less than a day. I don't use all of the great features I don't regularly use because I feel I can't do them justice. If you like, this watch also shows email, text, and weather notifications, has a very awesomeGPS that maps a run on your phone, and a nifty app that allows you to track your sleep. I've used all of the features before, but they're too67531 at work to get a notification when I get some mail. Sleeping with a watch on isn't my jam, even though this watch is reasonably comfortable. This is my long-awaited review of this very useful watch tool.
👤I like this device. The HR monitor ran for 16 days and the battery had 2 bars, so I turned it off when I was exercising. The map of my run was provided to me in the app. I bought a refurbished device that said it was fully charged, but later showed low battery, so I decided to buy a new device. I found out that if I wiggled the charge, it would start charging. It said it was full, but it dropped a bar after less than a day. My new device ran for almost a week before it dropped the first bar and I didn't have to fiddle with the charging port.
👤Purchasing through Amazon is recommended by me. I thought I was, but it was just fulfilled by Amazon and the other companies that charge fees for returns. This is not made for a woman's wrist. I regret buying this item.
👤I wore it for 3 weeks with a short battery life, and the first time I used it, I could see water under the screen. They will not answer or return my calls when I call gps nation twice.
The smart watch for men and women can be used with most of the above devices. You can easily read information in the sun or dark with six levels of brightness. The Pubufit APP will let you track your sports and health data. The PUBU fitness watch supports seven sports modes, including walking, running, cycling, skipping, badminton, basketball, and football. The fitness tracker will help you exercise scientifically and achieve fitness goals. Health watch for men and women. The smart watch can help you better understand your health by monitoring your heart rate, blood pressure, blood oxygen and sleep state. A smart watch is a great gift for the elderly and children. Also, note: The health data can't be used as a test. All messages and notifications will show on your smart watch and remind you. The fitness watch can't answer calls or text. When you twist your wrist, your face will light up. You can swim or wash hands in the rain. They don't suggest you wear your smart watch while swimming or showering. One full charge of 1.5 hours supports 7 days of working time and 40 days of off time. Other features include music control, remote camera control, shake the watch to take pictures with hands free.
👤This thing has a lot of features. I wanted a watch that would accurately count my steps. I looked at Apple watches, but they were very expensive. I ordered it after reading the reviews of different brands. I am surprised by how many features are on this watch, it came in one week ago. I walked without moving my arms and it still counted my steps. It's very accurate. The watch was set in the metric system when I got it. You can change it on the app on your phone. You can see but not reply to your most recent messages. Emails, phone calls, and other apps are included in the notification options. A sleep analysis. The weather is in your current location. A health section measures your blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. A training section keeps track of how long you do an activity, how many steps you take, how many miles you travel, and your heart rate. Walking, running, cycling, and skipping are some of the training choices. You can pause, play, or fast forward a song on your phone's music app. You can adjust the brightness and there is a flashlight option. You can access your phone's camera by pressing the button on your watch, which will take a picture of you on your phone. It has a stopwatch. One review said that the watch turned on during sleep. One of the important functions of the watch is to lock the screen, if you scroll down on the watch's homepage you will see this. My watch does not turn on when I use this at night. Push the button on the watch to turn it off in the morning. It was easy! The only negative I could find so far is that you can't change the training section of the watch with other sports. The charge lasts for a few days. I have an Apple product that is compatible with it. This watch is perfect for anyone. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
👤I had a problem with the watch I received. I explained the problem to them. It wouldn't connect to my phone. They sent a replacement watch which works perfectly and was connected on the first try. Thank you...
👤I'm very satisfied with this watch, it seems to have more functions than the one from the other company. The camera and menstrual cycle calendar have functions that I like. I think it's a good idea.
👤I don't want to always get my text. Delivery of other information. It's easy to operate. I charged it on Sunday and it's still going strong. For the price and features. "Like"
👤There were only 90 reviews when I ordered. I was not sure what to expect. It came fully charged, I downloaded the app and watched it in less than 5 minutes. It does the same things as my phone, except I never used that feature. When the phone rings, read text on screen, control the weather, and more. All the health and fitness tracking features are included. Excited to see how accurate the gps is. The screen is very sensitive and it added 50 steps. The main reason I purchased was the steps.

👤I tried a smaller watch and wanted to love it. I decided to go with a bigger screen watch that was within my budget. The step counter, sleep tracker, and heart rate monitor are very inaccuarte. The O2 seems fine, but the blood presure is always going to be a bit off, but it was close enough for me. The sleep tracker doesn't register when I am up to the bathroom, and this watch sometimes shows 300 steps at night when I haven't been up to the bathroom. My wake and sleep times are inaccurately accounted for by the sleep tracker. When I checked my heart rate during my workout, it said 80bpm, but I could tell it wasn't close to my actual heart rate. I have never tried the alarm or timer functions on the watch, but it wakes me up at 6:57am some mornings. The battery life is great, but not enough to justify keeping it when it has deficiencies in all the areas that are my reason for wanting to wear a watch at all and the constant worry of it waking me 3 minutes before the alarm on my phone. This watch will be returned as useless.
👤It looks good! Good size, lift weight, comfortable, affordable, good battery life, waterproof. It is good.
👤I returned the watch because it was too big for my 6 inch wrist, even on the smallest hole. It was on my arm. The band was not visible on the top of my arm because the face was completely covered. I returned it because I wanted a different watch with a smaller face, and I'm looking to buy a watch with a 1.69 face. Suggestions for this 60 year old woman would be greatly appreciated.
👤There are a lot of features that don't work. The faces can't be downloaded. When you lift your arm and charge it only lasts about 2 days on battery saver mode, watch doesn't always come on. The seller contacted me and fixed the problem.
👤The side button has to be pressed to bring the clock on. So far, it has been a good watch.
👤I got my problem fixed. They made sure everything was okay. Customer service is pretty amazing.
👤I like this watch better than my Apple Watch, sometimes.
👤It was unexpected. The blue tooth did not work. I got the replacement in three days after requesting it. Excellent customer service. The new watch setting was easy to use. The first charge of the battery was able to last seven and a half days. The large touch screen was easy to use.

👤I am coming from a bunch of bad stuff from Bangood and AliExpress. This is the best watch I have had. I'm in the SAMSUNG/ANDROID OS so I don't have to worry about my wrist. The life of a battery. I received this on Monday. It was charged up and started wearing. I have been exploring all of its options, so I have been harder on the battery life than normal wear. My watch has 32%, but it is Fri morning. I have all the settings turned on to track. I think I can squeeze a week out of it. The user interface is simple and straight forward. I don't need silly bubble icons, just gimme a list and click on what I want. Excellent features. Your normal tracker. There's more to the watch, including a heart rate monitor, SpO2, skin temp, stress monitor, weather, alarm, and a DND feature to keep your watch from buzzing at night. You can set the screen to not turn on when you turn your wrist so you don't blinding your wife while sleeping. A barometric altimeter, a compass, and a few other things are included. timer and count down. Clean and straight forward. I was not a fan of the tracker. The app doesn't drain your phone battery. There is a store with more than one watch face. This review is not about the other watch faces apps. Amazfit GTS 2E is excellent. I haven't found a flaw that doesn't get me through the day. This model does not have a speaker so you can't be like Dick Tracy and call from your wrist, but who needs that anyways? I need a watch that shows incoming calls, text, and emails. This thing has an excellent battery life. I can get a week without having to take my watch off at night.
👤I've had this watch for over a month now and I really wanted to love it because I love the design and a lot of the features. I don't write reviews for products, but I am disappointed in the heart rate monitor of this watch. I bought the watch for tracking workouts and to upgrade from my old fitbit but it is useless as it is off by 60bpm for my HR and will say I'm relaxing when my HR is 160. The calories count is completely inaccurate because of this. I've tried adjusting the fit of the watch as well as where it rests on my wrist, but nothing has made it more accurate. The sleep tracking doesn't pick up on naps as it claims to and there will be times where I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and it doesn't register this as "awake" at all. I haven't been able to get phone notifications to be sent to the watch. I've spent hours online trying to figure out why it isn't working. I would return it. I cut the wrist band because it is long. The watch face options are great, but the app itself is pretty decent. I wish I had spent more money and gone with a newer version of the apple watch.

👤The ROW model of the watch may not be available from this listing. The main downside is that the new features and bug fixes from Garmin will take up to 6 months to be applied to the ROW version. If you run into issues with your watch due to the version difference, you may be refused service by the company. Buy at your own risk. This was not advertised in the item description, but it is cheaper than retail.
👤The non-US versions of the Forerunner 935 are being sold by Perfect Trading Inc. If you get one of the non-US versions, you won't be able to get the latest features and bug fixes for US customers. Perfect Trading agreed that I could return the watch. If a seller sells grey market products in the US, they should clearly mark them as such and say which one. The grey market product has limitations. The latest features and bug fixes will not be available. Explain if the manufacturers warranty is valid for grey market products in the US. I'm not sure what Garmin's policy is, I know that some manufacturers don't honor their warranty on grey market products. If Perfect trading clearly marks non-US products, I will remove the negative review.
👤I returned the Fenix 5 and 5s I bought. I had hoped that those watches would turn on me. I bought a 3rd one. After a few days, I couldn't see myself running or biking with that watch. I had to keep that beast strapped to my wrist because of its heft. I was ready to throw down and be a Fenix fan boy, but suddenly I see comparisons to the Forerunner 935, and I am sad. Really? I couldn't be happier because I got one. The 935 weighs half as much as the Fenix 5 and has the same amount of internet access. The straps on this watch are more comfortable than the ones on the Fenix 5/3. I can sleep with it and not feel uncomfortable. The features of the Fenix 5 have been spot on, check the forums to know what I'm talking about. If you're going to run and bike and hike your ass off, you should definitely get the 935, even if you're dead set on chasing the bling.
👤I had a lot of problems with this watch and called for help. The Asian Market Version was confirmed by them. Which does not allow for software updates. They are going to help me. You will be stuck with software and no updates, so make sure this isn't the Asian Market Version.
👤The back of the box is pictured in a photo, it was the Asia Pacific model that I received. The gps battery life is listed on the box as 21 hours, but the listing says 24 hours. This isn't apparent in the listing, but please be aware that this may not be the same edition that you are expecting.
👤There is a warning. I received an Asian version without warning. It wouldn't update past 8.0. The company is now on 9.5. The watch face froze and went black as it showed a "pixelated" display. Up to that point in time, it was a great fitness watch.
