👤The Amcrest AM-GL300 V3 was replaced by the Amcrest 4G LTE gps tracker. It's definitely a worthwhile replacement. I had no complaints about my 2G tracker, I just had to consider whether to stay with the 2G model, or upgrade to 4G, and I decided to buy and try out the new 4G tracker. I bought a second 4G model and won't be going back to the 2G again.
👤It's very easy to set up the gps. You will have no issues if you follow the instructions. You can choose from a 60-second plan or a 5 second plan. The 60-second plan is what it says the gps will give you a location for. The gps is accurate. It will lag a little on the update. I haven't seen that cause an alarm or cause it to be incorrect. This is a very good gps. I would recommend this to anyone. I will update in a month or so.
👤I have been using the Amcrest 4G gps tracker for 2 weeks now and I am very impressed with the accuracy and ease of use. The device was activated via the Amcrest website, and the gps began to track my movements after I turned it on. I put it in my car and drove. The tracker was accurate. It tracked my speed, duration of travel time, and the distance traveled, as well as recording my trip geographically. The tracker is compact and sleek, both of which I love, and it is also durable, which is a huge plus. The monthly cost for 4G service is pricey but the device itself is excellent. I am happy to recommend this device to others.
👤This is a great product. The one button push is my favorite feature. I'm a hard enduro motorcycle rider and it gives me peace of mind to know that I can notify my wife in case of an emergency.
👤The process of selecting a tracking plan and getting my Amcrest 4G gps was easy to follow. Accuracy is correct. I used a stopwatch to keep track of the 30-second tracking plan. I am very impressed with its performance so far. Thank you Michael Turner Hamilton NJ.
👤The tracker is easy to use. You can use the web interface and app to get all the information you need in a gps tracker. It's easy to hide and prevent someone from tampering with it.
👤The first amcrest put out is very good, but this tracker is hands down better. I opted for every 30 seconds to get the fastest updates on the location of the tracker. You can go as fast as you want, but each level has a different monthly charge. I'm waiting on the magnetic case for the new one.
👤This thing is awesome. The last location has lightning quick updates. I was very happy with my purchase.
👤This device work's more than I was expecting, the product is well built, very accurate with the 4g, a little bit expensive for monthly subscription, but it's all good. It will cost you a lot more in cdn dollats if you are aware that the monthly price is in us dollars.
There is a gps tracker for vehicles. A new version of the famous GL300. After the first service purchase, 2 months of free service will be added. If you buy more time, service is less than 25 a month. This is the longest version that works on the CAT M1 Technology. There are no hidden fees. Ready to use. Better coverage and longer battery life. The front button is pressed when there is an alert: movement, parked, speeding, device on/off, low battery, entering or leaving zones. The battery life is measured in days or weeks. Tracking history for 1 year. You can track from any computer, phone or device. 1 minute location updates while moving. It can be configured for location updates with no additional cost. It is the newest version of the technology.
👤The support department is great, and this tracker is easy to use. I was able to track my cheating husband to his girlfriend's house and then to every restaurant he went to for her, which will become important in court. I could tell what parking space he was in because of the accuracy. I had every right to follow the car that I tracked because it was in my name. I would check your state laws to make sure you are covered if the car is only in his name. I spent thousands of dollars on a private detective when he cheated. This device is worth every penny. You can have all the info you need in bright satellite colors with time stamps if you purchase a subscription to the tracker. I hid my box in a plastic one that I used for personal supplies and he put it in the trunk for me never knowing he was doing something. The tracker's history helped me make him history as well, so let's just say that!
👤I don't like to leave bad reviews. The gps unit witch seems to work well, but somehow gave us a false reading. We keep this unit in the backpack. I check the location from time to time. The location of the unit was very different in the emergency room. The movement would appear to show that the unit traveled directly from the school to the hospital. After calling the school, it was discovered that the kid and the gps unit were still at the school. Thank you for 20 minutes of terror.
👤I bought this product to keep track of my child who is visiting her mother in Texas for the holidays. We are in a custody case for our child who lives with me in Mexico. I am using this product to make sure that my child doesn't leave the country but still has the chance to see her mother, because I want to make sure that she doesn't go. I put this product in a pocket in her backpack, another similar product in the lining of her suitcase, and a third software on her phone. I assumed that one of the three would make it through an attempted abduction and give me enough time to alert the authorities at the border. The purchase, delivery and setup of the GL300W was very easy. The setup was done online and the purchase was easy. The device showed location in my home within 10 minutes. I setup the competing device and cell phone at the same time. Similar experiences with those as well. I had to run a trial before my child left for Christmas break. I set the distance of the fence to 0.1 mile around my home and the school property. I put the unit in the backpack. I set up the email notifications that I wanted to receive. The trial was about 8 days long. When my daughter left home to go to school, I was surprised that I could see the exact route that took her to school. I could verify that my daughter was where she was supposed to be on a daily basis. When my daughter came home from school, it was obvious that the product was still in school. This product did not have a glitch. The trial was successful. My child left for Christmas and the unit tracked from our home to the airport. It picked up signal again when it landed in Texas after it lost connection due to no cell service at altitude. It has been two weeks and it has tracked without fail. My daughter is going to come back tomorrow. I'll see how it tracks back home. I was assured that the product will work internationally after I contacted customer service about the ability to track into Mexico. Customer service has been great so far and I was very responsive after a few hours. Their pricing is very reasonable for what I was looking for, there is no long term contract required, and I cannot put a cost on the safety of my child and my peace of mind relative to that goal. The product does what it says it will do and does well from what I have seen so far. I was skeptical initially, but those doubts have passed. The product is reliable. Transactions and tracking are done on the web. If I had a recommendation for improvement, it would be to have a user friendly app for both phones. I was able to figure out what I didn't know because I am a computer literate person. There are videos on the internet that can help you with questions.
Just like a mobile phone, their car tracker needs a sim card to work. They need a sim card that supports 2G network to use their tracker device. You can track your progress on your mobile phone, PC, or APP. They recommend SpeedTalk/T-mobile in the US. The precise positioning is discussed. You have peace of mind because of the gps+LBS dual mode positioning. If the gps signal is good, the vehicle tracker will be positioned through the gps satellite, but if it is not good, the tracker will be positioned through the gps location service. Anti theft functions. Shake alarm, geofencing, overspeed alert, historical replay. The tkstar tracker is a perfect choice if you want to track the safety issues of people you care about when they drive. The gps locator can be easily attached to any iron surface, it is easy to install and hidden. No need to worry on rainy days. If there are places on the product manual that are not clear enough, please feel free to contact them. They will respond in 12 hours. If there are places on the product manual that are not clear enough, please feel free to contact them. They will respond in 12 hours.
👤The setup is easy and painless, just a few text commands. Follow the instructions and use the Speedtalk mobile sim. Unless you plan on using it for listening in on conversations, the $5 sim is fine. This can be used anywhere in the world that has 2g cellular service, just use a regionally appropriate sim card. The model does not have the anti lost feature that was advertised. That feature can be found in the TK915. This is the most economical full-function tracking solution that I have found. I get 3-4 weeks out of the battery with moderate daily driving. I have purchased a total of 5 of these trackers and 2 of the TK915 trackers. There is no better product. These are the most economical, full featured devices that you can use. The customer service is excellent.
👤Two of the four vehicles in my house are parked on the street. I need a tracker to alert me of any potential trouble and to find the vehicle if it is stolen. At a reasonable price, TKStar gives me peace of mind. SpeedTalk is $5 a month and can be ordered separately from Amazon. After you get a phone number, insert the sim card into the device. You need to go over some ground rules with the device. wholesale tracker replies You can use the app to adjust the settings. The pamphlet that came with the device has more text commands. The tracker will reply "wth?" if you text the wrong command. "Invalid command" is a serious word. The app allows you to change the settings of the device. At the same time I was testing this device, I used a third sim card to run an old smart phone as a tracker of similar functions. The data usage was high. It is a viable choice if the power is always on. It took me some time to figure out which settings to use. The tracker wakes up by itself every twelve hours and reports its location to you. While in sleep mode, the sensors can still be triggered. The app won't be able to communicate with the tracker when it's in sleep mode, but direct texts will. I remove my cell number from the app so that I only get notifications by the app. There is a lot of data left to use in my $5 plan.
👤Listen. For the win, AMAZON. I called my bike back and it showed me where it had been stolen. It is amazing.
👤It costs $5 per month for the service if you purchase a separate sim card. I figured it out from reviews like this one, even though this wasn't made quite as clear as I would have liked. The instructions left a lot to be desired. They used a lot of jargon and abbreviations that doesn't make sense to someone who doesn't know much about gps. They could use plain English to walk you through the setup. The process was explained to me by the seller in a few minutes, and it works as advertised. It has a device that tells me when the vehicle is moved, which direction it's facing, how fast it's moving, and even if someone bumps into it. It tells me when the battery needs to be charged. It's for my elderly FIL, and now the entire family can locate him via app. There is a lot of peace of mind there. You get a lot for the price.
The ultimate gps vehicle tracker. Their ultra compact tracking system can be used to track your car, truck, or SUV, and can even be used to track your teen driver. Tracking movement in real-time. Track and map in real-time on web-based software or their SilverCloud App for reliable live tracking of vehicles or fleet related assets, and receive up-to-date text and email notifications. Tracking is discret. The ultimate in discreet tracking or out of sight, out of mind; the device won't give away its location with glaring flashing lights if the lights are disabled via the app. Plug and play design is all you need. Their device does not require a battery and can be plugged into the vehicle's port. Their products are designed and built in the USA, unlike otherGPS systems on the market today. Tracking time.
👤The device was never designed to work as it was supposed to. The vehicle was shown in the middle of the freeway for hours at a time. The replacement device immediately showed the same problems. There's that. There is a I had a lot of communication with LAS and they were very easy to work with. They went out of their way to try and help. This unit will not stay connected in some vehicles. The cell network and RF are well-established. There is a This is very important. The ladies returned my subscription fees, activation fee, and my original purchase price, but also had me return the original unit, which was out of the return window, and said they would cause Amazon to return my original purchase price. That... That's really great customer service. The people at LAS are top-run in dealing with problems, so be aware that the device may not work as advertised or intended.
👤We ordered the device. I wondered how good the device is. I thought it would be a failure. It was very easy to install. The gps device is on our daughter's jeep. The $39.95 plan tracks in real time. It works well. She is tracked on how fast she goes when she stops. In case the jeep is stolen, she has all her jeep ifto. I think we like it. So far, so good. The product is great for the price. It's a good price to make sure my daughter is safe on the road. If we left a review, the device would come 20% off of the monthly price. It has been 3 months since there was a 20% discount. We are paying $40 a month. It would be great to get the discount. They are nice but never call back when I call. The product is great, but still not a discount.
👤The device was purchased from Amazon. He was placed in his grandfather's car. Amazon sold old devices, according to land air sea claims. There was no warning and the devices stopped working. The land air sea says that 2g technology is the fault of the company. Amazon, Land Air Sea, and other companies did not notify me. When grandpa went missing, I had to call the police. Grandpa is ok, but he has a false sense of security with this device. They cut off contact with the device.
👤I'm not happy that I bought this device. I didn't know that I would have to commit to a monthly subscription in order to use it.
👤If you chose the 10 second update subscription, the device works well. I used the web browser to download the app. The things I wish they could improve are listed. The indicator lights can be turned off. It could be done through the web interface. You can use electrical tape or paint over the LEDs, but they won't be as pretty. There are two more The vehicle does not always follow the curves of the road. Your car may look like it has cut corners, making it seem like it was driven by someone under the influence. There are 3 more While the car is parked, your device will often report drifting. If your car arrives at 8:00am and the driver works until 5:00pm, it's a good example. The car will often make small movements after it arrives. If you want to make sure that your spouse or child makes it to school on time, the last status should have been its actual time of arrival. Do you really want to waste your time looking at the time and not using the historical replay to verify that the car didn't move? Would I have bought the device if I knew about the problems? This is a solid 5 star product.
The smallest gps tracker. The design of this location and speed tracking tool makes it perfect for attaching to any mobile asset or vehicle. No one has to be aware of it. There is. But you! Travel across state and country lines with fast 4G coverage. There are 4G networks in the US, Canada, and Mexico. The magnetic waterproof case is specifically made to hold the Spark Nano 7, keeping it securely attached to cars, trucks, RVs, and high-dollar assets, continuing to record through rough conditions. The location of the tracker is in real-time. You can access reports from anywhere via any web browser. There are 3 plans to choose from. Quarterly / Monthly. An Annual subscription is as low as $17.98 a month. You have to subscribe for $17, $22, or $29.99. No contracts are needed to cancel. There are 3 plans to choose from. Quarterly / Monthly. 👤I am very impressed with the device. I'm dealing with someone who lies more than a politician so this device is useful. You can choose which map setting works for you. The location is not an exact one, but if you pay attention to the landmarks you will find what you are looking for. You can see the movement on the map. The company's website has some helpful instructions. They help a lot with understanding how to use the device. It has been worth the money so far. The monthly subscription costs a bit. busting a liar is priceless.
👤In case of theft, I ordered this to track my car. It will have to be done every 5 to 7 days if you charge it for 5 hours. They will bill you $215.88 per year for a one minute refresh and more for real-time if you sign up for the gps tracking. They will not deliver on their promise of a free month. They tell you to take the car for a 20 to 30 min drive with the device on the top of the dash to get your car. They tell you where to put it. I couldn't drive it under the car. When it was in the interior space, it worked well. If you want to hide and expect it to perform, then this is not for you. I returned it to Amazon after 4 days. They hung up on me when I called to cancel my gps service which they had already billed to my card. I had to get my bank to open a dispute. I am still waiting for my money back. If you are looking for a tracking device that integrates with your cell phone, I would encourage you to look for another product that does not use your own car. The location of the gps device.
👤I can't say enough good things about this gps. It works well. The battery lasts for a while. Huge bonus! The magnet is strong and stuck under my car. My daughter wanted to go shopping on Black Friday. Without her knowledge, we were able to track her every move in my car. At one point it tracked her at 86mph. We had a discussion about that.
👤This is a great product. I can track the location of the vehicle, as well as the average speed, distance traveled, time travelled, and time the vehicle is parked on location. You can see it in a number of maps. The battery in the vehicle is about 65% remaining, and it has been installed in one vehicle. You can go back and check previous days and see activity reports. The app is very complete. I use it mostly on my phone app, but I also check it from a desktop with a lot more details to choose from. They recommend putting it on the edges of the vehicle under the car for maximum exposure, in every instance except once, it has picked up the signal and sent messages back. The one time it didn't pick up the signal was probably because the tracking device was still adjusting to the environment. Since that time, I have had no issues. No need to contact customer service for any issues, it's easy to install. Excellent product! I would recommend it to a person that is seriously considering it. There are online apps that don't require aGPS device, but they have to have the user's consent to be tracked, and have a lot of battery drainage. That is not an issue with this product, as you will know the location no matter what. It requires a monthly subscription, but I think it's worth it.
If you want your loved one's safety to be assured, you need to creategeofences that alert you when your vehicle has entered or left defined areas. Make sure your child is wearing a behvior. Run reports on excessive speeding, harsh acceleration, braking, turning, all stops, total time and mileage driven. Track Thieves can be used to keep an eye on your personal vehicles or commercial fleet. Plug the mini tracking device under the dashboard of your car and you're good to go. There are 3 plans to choose from. Quarterly / Monthly. An Annual subscription is as low as $17.98 a month. You have to subscribe for $17, $22, or $29.99. No contracts are needed to cancel.
👤I was expecting a vehicle tracking device to surpass my expectations. The device came with clear instructions on how to use it. The installation was easy and I was able to access my account. Both the app and website had a clear layout. I was able to track my vehicle's location and have the option to review my driving history. There are other functions on both that would allow for easy record keeping. The device was easy to install. It will go unrecognized once placed. I knew it was there, so my vehicle made it a little more noticeable. I would recommend this device to companies that monitor their vehicles. This allows for protection against theft, but also allows protection for employees by showing their location in case of an emergency. This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for additional security or tracking measures because of the low cost and high-grade customer support. Parents with new drivers would benefit from this. You get the security of knowing where the family vehicle is, but you can also see where the young driver is in the event of an emergency. I was very satisfied with this product. It's worth the purchase to have peace of mind when I'm away.
👤This is a car gps tracker with real-time tracking. I was excited about this product because there was no monthly fee for a lifetime, but when I plugged it in, it placed me in Malaysia, but I waited some time to let the gps get accurate data. You have to pay another monthly subscription if you want your tracking divide to work. Not good... Important information is contained in the below text, which was pre-typed. I don't intend to make any channels here. I feel like you should know from someone that has previously purchased the item you are interested in purchasing, because I have been so disappointed with many purchases I have made. I hate to say this but, I have observed the invasion of "fake" but the beautifully crafted and eye-catching product listing descriptions on Amazon stating that the product is "Hight Quality" when it is mostly garbage and at least in my case, most of the times I just throw If you really need to function based on your needs, don't trust what the listings say, or buy something from another store, or even a local outlet store. Good luck!
👤It's easy to install. They are misleading about the fact that you have to pay monthly for service.
👤The company is the worst ever. I will never deal with Brickhouse Security again if I can help it. The hassle of changing password, the hassle of getting in touch with the company, and the hassle of being told my password is invalid were just a few of the hassles. I canceled my account when I got a hold of them. There was only one big headaches. Don't. If you want instant access, buy from them.
👤This is a great gps. You get what you pay for with the monthly subscription. The program on the laptop is very good. I was able to see how fast my daughters were. There are some good features that I haven't explored yet. Prepaying for a years service will give you a discount. I was not sure if I would like the app. I love the software that it gives. I bought the gps that plugs into the port under the steering column. It was easy to install. I bought an extension cable for $10 on Amazon. I could remove the gps from the dashboard and still have access to the engine diagnostic port. When the app on the Apple I-phone takes too long to start, I just uninstall it and connect right away. The software on the laptop works well. You can easily move the gps to another car by plugging it in. I would recommend this service to others. I am happy with the plan I purchased.
It's easy to use a gps navigator. The maps are easy to see. alternate routes are suggested by the traffic company. Yes, the backup camera is compatible with BC 30 or BC 40. Voice activated and ability to pair with a compatible phone. Notable historic sites and the U.S national parks directory are part of the HISTORY network. Without a computer, built in wi-fi for map and software updates.
👤I used a cellphone as my primary navigation tool and purchased the DriveSmart 65. The cellphone navigation systems are great, but I didn't like the convenience of the stand-alone units. I didn't like the fact that the navigation apps weren't easy to see when I manually used the phone for a phone call. There are two more Unless you use a different app or download offline maps from the internet, there's no navigation when you don't have cellular coverage. There are 3 more I never found the offline maps to work for me, there was always a problem with resolution that I could not resolve. Offline mode was not always used to work in general. I tried some of the other free offline navigation apps, but they seemed to be behind in updates, and did not seem refined, leaving me with a slight but ever present apprehension in my mind. I didn't like the small screen size when in portrait mode, even though I had an iPhone Plus. There are five The navigation app on my cellphone ran in the background and was not visible to view. I didn't see all of the trip info functions that the vehicle navigators offered. The app navigators had the same trip info, but it was hard to see. The DriveSmart 65 was more expensive than the 55, but the extras screen real estate was worth a few extra dollars for me. It is hardware. The screen is beautiful! Great resolution and bright colors. The brightness is turned up all the way. The 6.9 inch is the perfect size for me since I like to have all of the trip data functions showing on the screen at all times while allowing for ample space for the map/ navigation which is the most important part. The screen seems to be made of glass, but I am not sure if it is scratch resistant. The frame has a minimal amount of bezel which adds to visual appeal but makes accidental touches easy when trying to adjust the postition/angle of the unit on the mount. The screen is responsive to touch and there is little lag navigating through the menus, as it should be for a device at this price point. The speaker is loud and clear. I don't know what processor is in the unit, but I hope it is an upgrade from last year's model. It is smart to get the best hardware within your means, especially if you plan on keeping the device for several years, to ensure it will be able to effectively run the software updates. I don't like the way the power cord plugs into the back of the device. It would be great if it was plugged into the side or bottom, because it would be easier to mount the device on a desk if the power cord was not sticking out. The mount is standard and works well for mounting on a window, but I have seen it fall off of a vehicle. I bought a friction dash mount from Garmin because it seems to work well for now. I can't state my findings because I haven't had the battery disconnected from a power source for that long. It is very easy to use the software. It seems that the years of production have allowed time for most bugs to be worked out. The high detail map option provides a lot of detail and is helpful in keeping the user oriented from a geographical perspective. When you zoom out with the intent to use it indefinitely, the unit will automatically zoom you back in to the default setting, even though it does not really want you to have full reign on the map. You can have phone notifications for email/text/etc to show on the unit if you sync your phone to it. The option to make and receive phone calls when you sync the device to your phone is available for those that may need it. The unit has the ability to update maps without a computer. After attempting to update the maps 4 times, I got error code each time and the device aborted the process. Maybe it is because my internet connection is not high-speed. It will be great to see if there is a similar issue among other people. The maps will have to be updated with a PC. Conclusions: The device performs well as expected. Excellent native route planning and accurate navigation. The screen is bright and high resolution. It's right in the sweet spot. I am not convinced that the features this unit offers are practical enough to justify the higher price. If the processor is better than last year's model, this is a good value. It was a factual decision. I don't have to use my phone as my main navigation when I have a stand-alone navigator. Happy with the purchase, even though I mentioned some things. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a navigator.

👤I bought the Tracki because I suspected my husband was doing something, it was a great device and works great, I highly recommend it.
👤I bought these to track the movement of my vehicle and belongings when I am moving across the country. The instructions state to charge the battery for 12 hours until the blinking light stops. The light stopped blinking after I charged the battery. The device was placed perfectly in my home, I was delighted to see how accurate it was. I set the device to send a signal for 4 hours and it should have given me 30 days of tracking. I took the device to the vehicle carrier depot after putting it in my car. I wasn't concerned because it hadn't yet been 4 hours, and the app still showed it back in my house. I knew something was wrong when it was still showing at my house. I called Tracki the next morning and asked what was wrong. The person who answered the phone was pleasant, and I was told that the device was set to internet, not gps, which is why it showed in my home. I was told that they could reset it remotely, but I might have to power down the device and restart it. I had a problem with my device being somewhere else. I didn't know where I was because Tracki wasn't following. There are two more The battery is now 31%, not 24 days after I activated the device. It wouldn't last more than 2 days. If my car makes it to its destination, I will be able to see that device again. It is anyone's guess if and when it will happen. Thank you for that. The other two devices that I planned to place along with my belongings will be taken by the moving company. The battery life is stated on Amazon in a way that is not true. The instructions are incomplete and make the device useless. Buy at your own risk. The person who answered my call at Tracki told me that their supervisor would call me back later when they arrived at the office. I'm still waiting. Tracki, thanks again.
👤I want to like this and I will start out with a positive. It's easy to hide. I was going to give this three stars but the negatives added up and the app was updated making things worse. You can view history on the phone app or on the web interface. Each interface has its own abilities, but not the other. The maps looked the same until the phone app was updated. The mess of lines when tracking history became even worse as the function of telling you the direction of travel on the phone app was lost. You can export a log file, but it has no support for viewing on earth, and you are stuck with random dot points. Pulling up history can limit you to a few days of tracking. It's difficult to remember when a particular event happened or when a person was driving unless you want to download the file and alter it using third party software. It takes more power to track a moving object. I stretched it out to 2.5 days once or twice but I had to charge it daily. I was going to hard wire it into the vehicle, but they updated the app. It's difficult to remove and install it so often that the tracker can be charged. Hard wiring defeats the purpose of having a small device. I tried turning the device off for 15 minutes then on for 5 to take a reading, but it didn't help. There are no instructions for doing that, but you can make changes on the web interface. The app gave you more options if it was in the past 24 hours. You only could view full days at a time if you checked history after a day had passed. This tracker should be updated once a minute. This is the most slow setting for other trackers, some update every 3 to 5 seconds. The track will not follow roads often. I used other trackers that lasted 2 full weeks, which is more than the unit gave me. It was possible to see a lot of stops at one minute intervals. Reducing the intervals in order to save battery life made it impossible to see people pull over to pick up someone. It's difficult to determine what roads were used. It doesn't track data like others do. I had better luck with free apps on an old cell phone. I dropped my phone in the car. Silly me. The "magnetic mount" is not a mount at all. The app lost function after being updated. It was changed to a very plain looking map that makes it hard to figure out the location. You can change the view to something else that is more visible, but it will always be the same view I dislike. I was going to give this a three star review but ended up giving it one star for all the things I mentioned. How did we get to this point? At this point, I am giving it five stars. A person reached out to me. He appreciated my negative input and was very professional. I was under the impression that they try to make the product better. I waited to update the review, maybe a little too long. I wanted to see the improvements first. Customer service and attention to detail really impressed me. What about the improvements that I'm talking about? The web interface received an update. The battery saving function can be set up on all formats. History can now be looked at in a different way. The arrows are back indicating the direction of travel, and the map now retains your preferred method of viewing it. I added another photo to show you the difference between the old map and the new one. The app is less cluttered and gives you more information. I don't have to switch from the app to the pc to get all the features. I believe they will try to add more features. The unit is selling below competitors. It was accurate. The monthly fee is lower than most competitors. It is still a disappointment to me that the battery life is not better. It usually falls between what they say. It surprises me with a third day for me, usually two days. I can't take a star off for this because it's in a normal variation and as advertised. The thing with this device is that you can pick what you want. A small device that is very lightweight for a kid to carry in a backpack. The choice is yours. I haven't used the extended battery pack yet, but it's charging now. The small tracker is not any larger than the competitors in other waterproof cases. I will probably update after I know how the case works. The company has turned my opinion around with great customer service. I just canceled my service. I wanted to say that the company changed a lot in the time I used them. This product has given me a lot of thought, even though I originally hated it. My kid has a job now that he is 18. I don't think I should keep a record of his every move as he is an adult. I had no problem going weeks before it needed a refill. I would get a low batt warning when the battery level dropped. After the first warning, the battery would last about 5 days. The standard battery is not good. The service was accurate. They added a lot of things, such as running mileage and other reports. Sometimes it gives you readings of KPH instead of MPH, even though everything is set up correctly. I'm now a happy customer. Customer service was always responsive to my concerns. I will install this unit to track my motorcycle in the spring, but at this point it's not necessary.
The tracker can be installed quickly and permanently with a strong magnet. Attach it to any iron surface in one second. The 5000 mAh battery has a maximum 90 days of use. Track your car or device using internal gps and sgma antenna and get a detailed report. For anti-theft purposes, it's perfect for tracking new drivers, teenagers, employees, and deliveries. It's easy: 3.4 x 2.2 x 0.5 inches, 1.76oz. There is a nationwide connection with a sim card with AT&T and T-Mobile service included. There is a worldwide service available. 👤August 2020 is an update. I own two motorcycles with this device. The tracking has always been great. They have updated their application so I can stop using the motorcycle. The customer support has been great. This system is very good. I got my unit installed in a motorcycle and it worked perfectly. The feature did not work after several hours of hooking it up. I worked with two different TrackMate Engineers and found their schematic of the relay was incorrect. They seem to be providing ground, not power, when either fuel pump or ignition disabling is activated. The green wire will go to ground after being activated via the Web Interface. The web support for killing the fuel pump is now available on the mobile app. They have worked diligently on the issues and sent me a second unit to help resolve the Ingnition/Fuel Pump cutoff feature. Don't hesitate to contact the support crew if you have any issues with the unit.
👤This was installed in my car. I added a circuit through the fusebox. The fusebox is in the back of the passenger's car. The drivers side has a stereo and the passenger side has a fuse box. It's easy to get to from the trunk. It took me about 20 minutes to find the right spot on the fuse box. I dropped the negative wire on the ground because the nut was clearly a ground for other components. I tested my contact points with a multimeter. I double checked my multimeter after completing my connections, because the unit has a multimeter on it. Everything looked good. I put the unit in to the open panel. I want it to be hidden, so it was easy to hide it behind the panel. There is an indicator on the device to tell if something is working. The mini unit had no light. I signed up for an online account. It says it takes about an hour for the unit to come online, and that you would get an email. I didn't get an email for an hour. I looked online, and there was nothing. Maybe I did a bad cable job. I noticed my car was in front of my house after I noticed it online. All good. I went ahead and did a few things, and the tracking was perfect. The website seems to be broken, but I don't think that's a problem. I can't change my unit's name to something friendlier. The serial number is what it is shown as. I only have one, so I would like to swap a more descriptive name. It would be very helpful if I got another for a different car. The website didn't want to show statistics and history. It worked well on the iPhone app. It might be that my device needs to be online for 24 hours before it works. I'll check tomorrow and call their tech support to address the website issues. This device works well. It's really well priced. Anyone with knowledge of car electrical systems can install it.
Their gps vehicle tracker works in the US, Canada and Mexico, so you know where your assets are in each country. The monthly cost is $19.50 for a cellular network that transports your data without fees. Reliable gps tracking with no surprise loss in power by running off your vehicle's power is not required. There is no hidden fee for the device. There are no activation fees. There are no cancellation fees. There are no upgrade fees. Family focus. The only gps tracker on the market that is developed with input from driving instructors and law enforcement to focus on teen safety to encourage open and honest conversation at home.
👤I wanted to put these in my father's cars. You have to register the devices and enter your card information before you can try to install them. I tried calling customer support and got a message, but I couldn't get them to connect with the app. I gave up and returned them after an hour of messing with it. When I contacted MOTOsafety for a refund on the $20 they had already charged my card for the monthly payment, I was told the company doesn't issue refunds. They were out of the box for less than two hours and didn't work, but I have to pay for the whole month. They force you to give your card information before you know if the product will work, and then refuse to refunds if it doesn't work. Don't buy if you're warned.
👤They call your house, leave a message on the machine, and then you have to have an awkward conversation with a man. Thanks! The software is easy to use and works great, not the point of what I was doing.
👤My old car won't start when I install it, which is the car I intend to pass on to my new driver. I put it in my other car. It worked well for a couple of days, but it killed my alternator. I put a new battery in it and I was so angry. I had to replace the alternator which cost $400. I will not recommend this tracker to anyone. It's a waste of time and money.
👤This is an excellent tracking device and it was easy for this grandmother to install. My son in law went over the blinking lights several times with a permanent marker to make them invisible to the average person. I was able to track the location of my car as it was being driven by a family member who was out on bail. It took less than a week for this person to be caught. I was able to find out where every stop occurred by looking at the addresses it provided. The home drug testing kit was positive for meth. I had to do this because I knew I had to have some evidence when I confronted this person because I kept falling for the lies being told to me. I had an issue when I tried to cancel the service. When it finally transferred me to an associate, calls went unanswered or I was put on hold. Two emails were acknowledged and then nothing. The online associate told me to call the customer service number. All issues were resolved after a call from customer service.
👤My mother-in-law drives. It was very bad! She doesn't use a smart phone, so I needed a way to monitor her driving. I chose the MotoSafety tracker after a lot of research. Although the device is primarily used for fleet usage and teenage driver applications, it seemed like the device could be used to monitor elderly drivers and provide theft monitoring as well. I have been using the device for a while. Installation is easy. Plug the device into the port under the dash on the driver's side. When the key is turned on, the unit starts searching for a gps signal. There are apps for both Apple and Android devices, as well as a direct link website for other types of browser use. The sign up can be done with an email address. The setup is best done through the website. The tracker will show the current or last position once the account is set up. It will record the track of the car. The track shows the route taken, but also gives stop points, how long the vehicle remained at a location, and the address of the location. Other useful features include time period usage and maintenance reporting. Since the tracker is a teen driving monitor, one can use the technology to show on a map where the car can be driven. The time period can be set to make sure the curfew is met. The heavy braking/acceleration can be used to alert for a sudden stop that might indicate an accident. The tracker does not use air bag deployment, but uses sophisticated algorithms to record acceleration/deceleration rates. The maintenance report shows the current battery voltage and fuel quantity. Engine trouble codes would be recorded, but I have not observed this feature. Knowing when the car was being operated and where it was being used was my primary concern. The alert features helped to give this information, but needed a work around. If the teenager was out after a certain time, an alert would be sent to the parents' phone, email, or both. An elderly driver monitoring alert would require the opposite information. I read that a daughter had set an authorized time period for her dad that she was certain he wouldn't be driving at 1am. Any usage outside of that time period would prompt an alert that the car was being operated. The alert shows as an Unauthorized Use alert when it is set up this way. They need to know how the alert works if they are designated to receive it. An alert showing usage outside of a designated area would be very useful for a driver who becomes confused while driving. There are a couple of useful alerts. The default time is 5 minutes. An alert is sent if the car is idling for longer. This feature is helpful for an elderly driver in case of fatigue. When the device is removed from the port, there is a Tamper alert. If the device is not securely positioned in the port, this alert can be triggered. I have not had this problem. The purchase price was through Amazon. A monthly fee is charged by MotoSafety. I am very pleased with the design, function, and user experience of the device, app, website, and customer support of Agilis. I recommend the device to anyone with a teen or elderly driver.
The companion app allows you to get up and running in seconds. It's lightweight, small and concealable. In January 2022. Real-time motion and whistle alert systems are designed to prevent crime. You can have peace of mind by being monitored 24/7. Great for people of all ages. Up to 4 month jail sentence. It is the most important feature for protecting against theft. Every 30 minutes, position updates. In 1 hour. There is a 2-year free subscription. No credit card is needed. A built-in card. After 24 months, it was only $2.49/month. The US and Hawaii have 4G networks. After 2 years, the cheapest device on the market is gone.
👤The first one came with no cell phone. The model I got is restricted in this region. The next one will hopefully work. I will update this review and rating once I find out. There is an update. The second one arrived without a sim. The Monimoto tracker was brought by me. It works. The Invoxia tracker was a shame because it was easier to hide. They might get their act together some day.
👤I bought this because it is the only one that will fit inside a bike frame. The signal disappears as soon as it is put in the frame. Tech support told me that this cannot be in contact with metal. I told them my bike is made of metal. The purpose of putting it in a pouch is lost because thieves can just throw it away. Tech support told me to return the tracker because it wouldn't work for the purpose I bought it for. There is a The battery life is amazing and the 2 years of coverage is awesome. I found another use for it. I will try the swisstrack gps bike tracker.
👤The first device I received was a DOA. The website doesn't have contact info so I used Amazon to exchange the item. It worked as expected. The company is uncontactable. The second device was activated well. It isn't very good at location tracking. I've taken it with me around the Southern California area, where it's very well covered cell services. The device is 60 miles from its last location and has been moving for 2 hours, but still shows the location where it spent last night. This is not good at locating a location. I bought this to compare with my product. Invoxia is very thin and sleek. Light and small. Style points for hardware. The cube is black. Solid, more useful LEDs, but slightly less cool. There is no website. It's a shame for those who want to use a computer. The "web 1.0" style site is how Americaloc works. I can see location data from my mobile browser because it's intended for computers. Invoxia only has "fast/normal/slow" update rates. Something like 15 minutes. There is a lot of practical control here. The update rates for GL300 are very low. This setting helps control battery usage and I have had it for years. It works. Invoxia doesn't work and it has worse features than other trackers. Don't buy.
👤If children travel in cars, this is not a good tracker. That's a good thing because it looks like it uses theLTE. If you are considering buying one of these, please look at the graphic that is provided in the listing that shows a cell phone screen with a map beside a tracker and notice a few things. The dots and time stamps are not stop points. The points where the tracker happened to be are just that. They are on the streets. They are connected with diagonal lines that cross over multiple possible routes. The fastest update setting is 5 minutes and a moving vehicle can go a long way in that time. The tracker will need to be charged more frequently if the updates are frequent. My Invoxia is just a few days instead of months. Imagine that the vehicle that the tracker was in used many of the same streets on the same day. Imagine a map that is cluttered with time stamps and you have to scroll all the way down to find all of the time stamps from a given trip to get a rough idea of the route that was taken. It can get very cluttered if you don't clear the screen before midnight. I have a tracker that updates every 15 seconds and renders the exact route that was taken. I can clear the map between trips with two taps, and I can play a history on the map of the whole day at many speeds. A single charge lasts at least 5 times as long as the Invoxia, even using 15 second updates. It has a strong magnet to hold it in place. I paid $25 for the tracker at Amazon and $9.95 a month for the cellular service that keeps it connected through SpeedTalk.net. The service is free. It is nearly perfect because it occasionally logs points that are not correct. They are easy to ignore because they are miles off target and could not have been traveled in 15 seconds. After about 2 months, my Invoxia stopped working. When I open the app, I can see a point near me, but not anymore. There is no time stamp. I've been trying to get this fixed for more than a month. It can take more than a day to send a message to them because of the different time zones. They are in Paris. I made a mistake when I set up my account. I can't get e-mails that are addressed to me because I made a mistake in my email address. I can communicate with tech support using a different email address, but I can't use automated features like password recovery. The fact that they didn't confirm that the e-mail address I submitted was working is a sign of their poor standing with me. If it's not very close by, I only know of the phone app or the Web site. I can send an email to my other tracker and get a link to a map showing it's location in seconds. I can do this from any smart phone. geo fencing is a feature that is supposed to alert me when a tracker enters or leaves an area that I have designated on a map. This feature has not worked well for me on either tracker. Some of the trackers are not compatible withLTE. Those that don't will stop working when there is a future date. There are a lot of gps trackers available. If Invoxia gets my tracker working again, I will post an update. The day after I posted this review, everything started working again.
