Add Gps. You can strengthen your Gps signal on any device by connecting via wireless. The free downloadable app provides accurate gps coordinates, position update rate change, and much more. Being able to add accurate gps to your device will allow you to use hundreds of available apps. The Gps receiver has a battery life of over eight hours of continuous use and comes with a usb charging cord. That will stick to most surfaces.

Brand: Dual Electronics

👤It works better than I anticipated. I have an older WiFi only iPad Mini that I wanted to use for navigation but it doesn't have built-in gps. When I connected my iPad mini to the dual XGPS105A via a wireless connection, it asked to download the accompanying app. The app is useful. It tells you the number of satellites you are connected to, the signal strength, position information, and the battery status. I turned it on in the house because I couldn't wait but I was able to connect to multiple satellites with ease. I thought I would have to go outside. With the gps locked and loaded, I tried out some maps. Both worked well. My weather radar map is now location enabled. Awesome. I have taken it down the road a few times now, about 100 miles total, without issue, but I will update this review once I have a longer road trip under my belt. I didn't expect to see the app mentioned in any of the reviews or forums. This thing is special. I can't wait to try it out against other devices, like a newer iPad, windows tablets, and some surveying equipment. I will report back, but so far it's been good.

👤Don't buy anything from AXXERA or DUAL. The unit will work for 25 times, then the internals will short out, killing the battery, but they will sell you another battery. Next year there will be some other name. They changed their names to keep up with consumer fraud. Don't buy anything made by these people. You will be sad.

👤I bought a gps receiver for my Jeep. This product works in conjunction with my Apple iPad and provides pin point accurate gps for any app you are using. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to connect to my iPad via BluTooth once I turn on the puck. This could be my fault. Overall very pleased! It's easy to charge up at home or in your vehicle. Very easy to use. I stuck a piece of tape to the back of the vehicle and it still works.

👤For almost two months, use the dual XGPS150A with my iPad 2. Since the iPad 2 didn't have a gps receiver installed, I decided to use the dual XGPS 150A, which is described in the technical documentation to receive 12 gps and up. The dual XGPS15A is a free navigation app that has a very simple and minimalist design. The dual XGPS150A receiver is small and has Haptics very pleasant. The gps is green. The Bluethooth connection is created relatively fast after switch on, but the GLONASS satellites are not supported, but they are displayed in the app, but they are crossed out. It happens in dense forests on winding roads and in large cities close to tall houses. When you're on foot in New York, Boston, and Chicago, the pressure point is non-tactile, so locating is almost non-existent. The dual XGPS150A would no longer splash water and dirt if you removed the plastic cover and cut a hole in the non-slip pad.

Brand: Gopure

👤I like the smell of my skin.

👤The dropper was full of dried serum when I opened it. It was fully clogged. I had to disassemble the dropper to make sure it worked. This was odd in a new product. The scent of the serum is neutral. The newest member of the retinoid family, Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate (HPR), is found in this serum. It's said to work the same way as prescription tretinoin, which doesn't require the skin to convert it into a usable form. It's supposed to be gentle on the skin. It doesn't have to be converted into a usable form because it's a retinoic acid ester. It works by binding to the retinoid receptors of the skin cells. The manufacturer claims that it has less irritation and has a reduction of lines and wrinkling. You should take manufacturer claims with a grain of salt because there isn't much independent research to speak of. I haven't gotten any irritation from this. I've been using it for a couple weeks. It's too early to see a reduction in wrinkling. I know I'm benefiting my skin even if I can't see it because of the new retinoid and other ingredients. It's also an affordable product, so worth following through with. Antioxidant: Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel), Bark/Leaf/Twig Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, and Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf are some of the ingredient highlights.

👤I have horrible skin, like full on adultAcne, so I have been looking for something to help it, without having to go to a dermatologist. The active ingredients in this serum are Retinol 2.0 and Bakuchial. There are some questionable things like witch hazel, but my skin does well with that. A small box with all the ingredients printed on it is what the bottle comes with. The bottle has a dropper built into it that makes it easy to distribute small drops. The serum is thick. It comes out of the bottle thick and quickly absorbs into the skin. It doesn't leave a mark on the skin. My skin feels nourished after application. I only use it at night because it can make skin more sensitive to sunlight. The sun is my biggest enemy. I haven't had any issues with this being used with other products. I don't know how the price compares to similar products, but for the quality, I don't think it's too much.

👤I was excited to see this combination of drugs. I recently started using bakuchiol and was amazed at how it evened my complexion and reduced fine lines. It seems to boost the effectiveness of retinol which I have been using for years. I used it after doing a light chemical exfoliation and it was very gentle for me. I woke up the next morning with no dry or oily skin. It has a creamy consistency and is thicker than most other serums. It is very fragrant and flowery, which some may not like. It leaves your skin feeling hydrated but not greasy. It did not react with my other products. I'm curious to see if there's any more improvements in the future, but so far I'm happy with it.

3. VK 162 G Mouse External Navigation Raspberry

VK 162 G Mouse External Navigation Raspberry

There is a multi-PLATFORM. It supports the following: Linux, Windows, and the like. Plug and play is supported by the Stratux project. 7 ft. cord is used for remote mounting. The new chip is the U-blox 7. It's durable. IPX6 is dust-tight. It's durable. IPX6 is dust-tight.

Brand: Stratux

👤I've bought 2 of these over the course of 2 years. I use them for my gps device while flying. The gps is very good. I get 10m position accuracy and it locks onto a gps position. The wire near the plastic gps housing developed issues such that the wire would no longer provide a signal. I had to open the units and bend the wire on the end near the housing to find a wire position that would allow the serial port to communicate again. I wrapped the wire in electrical tape and placed it in the bent position. Both of them continued to work. I'm going to try a braided cable for my Stratux and a G mouse for a test to see if I can get something that will last longer.

👤I found a gps receiver that will work on my pi network time server. It took me several minutes to get a minimum of 3 satellites required by the software on theRaspberry Pi, even though my other gps was ok. I had to fuss with it because it wouldn't remain locked. After plugging it in and starting the gps server, it would lock onto several satellites within seconds and remain locked to those satellites. I monitored the operation for several days using U-Center windows software and found the gps to be fast and sensitive, picking up and locking onto over 4 satellites within seconds. The gps is 5 feet from a window. It is even faster outside. My NTP server is up and running because of its default output. My computer time needs to be accurate to milliseconds, and an accurate NTP server is needed for my ham radio equipment.

👤I bought this to use in a data logging project I'm building for my car. It's great to have support out of the box. It's very easy to get data from third party applications. Works well with Kismet. I mounted it to the roof of my car and it has not had any issues moving around. It is easy to route through weather stripping and door mold for a hidden wire installation with the built inusb cable.

👤If the internet goes down, I wanted a time source for the pi. I didn't have to move my pi because it has a nice long lead. I could put it in the window. I don't know why it says "suction power", it doesn't have a cup on it, but it has a magnetic base.

👤It works well on the boat even when it's inside on the navigation desk, because I bought this to use with OpenCPN. It was easy to setup. If you find that the unit can't acquire enough satellites, you could mount it on the deck in a waterproof enclosure.

👤It is easy to find satellites, and interface nicely with OpenCPN. Plug it in, start xgps and then replug in a couple of seconds. Within seconds, it will start acquiring satellites, because it wakes up xgps to a device being attached. The old one I used was ten times worse than this one. It's a great example of how things have improved over time.

4. HiLetgo G Mouse GLONASS Receiver Windows

HiLetgo G Mouse GLONASS Receiver Windows

There is a gps receiver for windows 10. There is a gps receiver called the g-mose. Windows 10,Vista/XP/CE are supported. The reference coordinate system is called the WGS. Tracking sensitivity is.

Brand: Hiletgo

👤It works on Windows 10 and the Pi. It will take some time and technical ability to get it going. It is not possible to use gisnass with gps/waas simultaneously. It's limited use for most. Don't abuse build quality, you will be fine. --- The review is for technical users. Instructions, software, drivers, etc. are not included in the VK172. It uses the u-blox 7020 chip and outputs a stream of standard messages. Special configuration messages can be sent/received without the software, but it's not as easy. I used Windows 10 for initial testing. It was assigned a serial comm port after plugging it in. It depends on what drivers you already have installed. I used PuTTY terminal software to connect to it after using device manager to find the correct comm port number. It showed the sentences immediately, even though the baud rate was set to a different standard. I downloaded the UBLOX "u-center for windows" software to see if it worked. Within a few minutes, I had a lock on my position and the blue led started to flash. This was not near windows. After a while, it picked up a signal from the WAAS and was receiving satellites. I felt the device was barely warm after 20 minutes. I tested it with a real time gps mode and it worked just fine. It took nearly 5 minutes to get a 3D fix after I tried it again the next morning. It may be that night time RF signals get less interference or that it didn't retain the ephemeris data. At night it was around 2 and at day it was over 3-4. When moving the receiver close to a window, two WAAS satellites were picked up. The daytimePDOP improved to 1.3-1.8. A full cold start in this location took 5 minutes and 20 seconds to get an initial fix. A hot start took less than a minute. A warm start took 31 seconds. It isn't too useful in reality because it's advertised as working with Glonass satellites. The configuration through the software seems to show that Glonass isn't enabled. The documentation states that neither gps nor qzs can be enabled. After disabling all other systems, I was able to enable Glonass. The only advantage would be if it received both at the same time. Since it doesn't, there is no point in bothering with it. I did a quick test on the Pi 3 after playing with Windows. I connected to the serial port using the putty program. I watched the expected strings. Gpsd seemed to work after a bit of effort. I looked inside. The ublox G7020-KT gps chip, ft25h03s 4Mbit serial flash, small battery like component, and patch antenna are notable components. The battery is just over 1 watt. The markings are obscured, but I think it's an XH414 which is a battery-operated device that can be used for a hot start. The soldering was good, except for the mechanical contact points which had not flowed properly, the signal pins were fine. I did not need to touch up the weak solder joints. It is a decent unit if you don't need the two things at the same time.

5. GlobalSat BU 353 S4 USB Receiver Black

GlobalSat BU 353 S4 USB Receiver Black

A built-in gps patch antenna. A built-in roof mount Magnet. 48 channels of all-in-view tracking SiRF Star IV is a gps device.

Brand: Globalsat

👤The NMEAGPS Receiver is used for applications. Does not provide location services to Windows. It was weatherized to handle all but submersion. It can be attached to many surfaces without damage. The body panels of a car are included. complies with the standards of the NMEA. The interface is a standardusb-to-serial The COM4 settings are used by the NMEA interface. There is no support for Windows location services. The device is an NMEA device. It will work in any location that works with NMEA, but no modern Windows applications. It is only IPX6 rated, meaning it is not truly waterproof. It can handle a lot of rain. Only one location update per second. This is not a 5hertz version. There's a software package that will connect to an NMEA device and create a Windows Sensor for use with location services. This is a software solution for the hardware manufacturer's lack of native software. There are some bugs. It works. The package in question is calledGPSdirect. My only problems are with the software. I know the device complies with the standards it claims to support. There are newer standards in 2015.

👤They started giving me times in 1905 after using these for a while. I get the correct date when I boot up. The receiver no longer responds and sends data after I tried to go back to the script I wrote. Until the date changes, it works well with gpsd. It works well, other than producing data that is useless. I'm not sure if we're talking about the same device. The one I have connects to a port at a rate of 5000 baud. A driver is needed to read serial data. Any application can read the data once the driver is installed, I wrote a Python script that opens the device and reads the "sentences". The first consideration is that the initial read could be a bit long. The reader has to sync with the stream, which is not difficult considering the second consideration, which is each sentence is terminated with two newline characters. When you get a full line that starts with a '$', you sync by reading. I can read the data from the receiver using "cat". The heading sentence is not generated by the receiver. The antennae is bulky, but magnetic.

👤This is my 3rd one. I use them on Windows 10 64 bit machines to do the time setting for some applications that I run. The mini-disk that comes with the puck has a utility. Your windows time is dead on if that utility is running. Turn off Windows internal time setting so they don't compete. Highly recommend the software. The program and gps ran 24x7 and the difference between Time.is and this was +0.011 seconds. I have an Amazon purchased gps repeater that is stuck on a broom handle against a window in my basement and I am seeing 7 satellites from it. The sensitivity is very good. The HDOP is 1.9 and thePDOP is 2.5. Anything below 4 is considered great.

6. Waterproof Receiver Laptop Interface Gain

Waterproof Receiver Laptop Interface Gain

We will send the document to you. The UBLOX 8 engine. The device is configured over a serial interface. Combines low power consumption with high sensitivity. The immunity is exceptional. There are 56 channels for acquisition and reacquisition. A multi-band receiver. Receives SBAS, QZSS and GLONASS. The factory set can be changed using software. You can support the 2.3 version of the NMEA0183. There are built-in WAAS, EGNOS, and MSAS. It's possible to use Windows 10, Win 8, Win 7, and the like. Check application notes for compatibility for Linux. There is a free software for the navigation system. Waterproof: If it is raining, you don't need to cancel your road trip since this navigator can be used in the rain or shine. IPX6 is water resistant. The cable length is two meters. The software is software. You can easily connect to your device via theusb 2.0 and use most commercial or open source mapping software.

Brand: Qgp Supply

👤I was looking for an external gps that could work with Windows 10 Maps and other apps that use serial port. The device is perfect for this purpose and it has drivers for both the location sensor and COM port. If you install both drivers, you can use it for Windows 10 Maps and other applications that use COM port to get gps data, as well as other applications that use windows 10 location API. U-blox also provides U-center software which allows to set a lot of settings for this receiver, it's pretty advanced and lets you set a lot of everything. The location accuracy is very good. It works inside a car as well as on the roof. It's a steal for the price. I was not able to determine a few things about this device. The chip used in this device is the exact U-blox chip. If the device is a ROM chip with a future update that won't be possible, or if it's an upgradeable device, then it's not possible. Whether the device has flash memory or battery-backed up configuration storage. Please leave a reply if anyone knows the answer to the question.

👤Plug the gpsd daemon into theusb port and you'll see data. You don't need to use the evaluation software to get this unit going on the Pi because it works on Windows. Download and try the evaluation software. It is worth it. The configuration changes described in Oscar Blanco's review for gpsd should be made. The issue is not the receiver, but the configuration.

👤I used to use a gps receiver on my Windows 10 device to track my road trips, but it only worked in the city, so I used to get no data in the mountains or canyons. The location provided by this receiver is based on data from both satellites and gives me a much more reliable fix. I haven't been able to test it in the worst conditions yet, but it has been able to provide a good fix in several places where the old one failed. The unit is small and has a strong magnet built into the base that keeps it firmly attached to the flat car body panel.

👤I am using this device to make sure the clock on my laptop is not set to go off during the upcoming amateur radio Field Day exercise. For certain applications, the clock must be on. The puck does a great job. Very happy with it! I would recommend both of them.

👤You need to download and install the "u-center" software on Windows. The display is difficult to set up. 3 stars off. It's very sensitive and can pick up a lot of satellites hundreds of miles away. It picks up satellites inside my apartment, so I don't need to go outside or on the roof. I don't know how to set this up to receive Galileo satellites.

👤I have been very happy with the purchase. I'm familiar with the devices used outdoors, but I thought I would try it out with my laptop. For most practical purposes, the accuracy for an often used location needs no further accuracy adjustments, even though it lacks the newest addition to the GNSS satellite systems - Galileo. It's hard to beat for the price and flexibility.

7. GlobalSat BR 355S4 GPS Receiver Black

GlobalSat BR 355S4 GPS Receiver Black

A built-in gps patch antenna. A built-in roof mount Magnet. There is a serial port interface. Slim Profile Housing. It is compatible with most software. If you are using a laptop, you will need a cable set.

Brand: Globalsat

👤The Uniden SDS 100 works great with this, you just get the cable from Uniden, and you save $25+ compared to buying the Uniden gps kit. The radio will detect it if you connect the cable.

👤I use this to connect to my mobile radio. The radio needs aGPS to function properly when it's on the go. None of the other gps receivers worked for me. The serial gps device works for the TM-700A. I made a box that converts the 6 PIN DIn to the 5V DC that I can use to plug in a 5v DC transformer. The gps came up and locked when the radio was plugged in.

👤The Uniden rebadges is completely interchangeable with the Uniden gps puck, including the 6-pin DIN connector. It picks up a usable signal in my basement, and has good sensitivity. The data is industry standard. When searching for satellites, the LEDs blink when they get a fix. Here's the wiring diagram for the black and shield. The ground. Red is required for 50mA and Green is required for 50mA and White is required for 50mA. In, but not needed for most applications.

👤The GlobalSat BR-355S4 is the one I bought that has the PS/2 port, not the one with the plug. You need to provide a separate 5VDC power source for it to work. The attached picture shows the radio with "GPS Data OK" on it, along with the pinout information for both modules. Attach GlobalSat Pin5 TX to Uniden Yellow. Attach GlobalSat Pin1 GND to Uniden Green and a 5V ground. Attach GlobalSat Pin2 VCC to the power source and you'll get 5V across the center two conductors. There is a pinout on the internet. You probably have something in your junk drawer. Plug it into the cigarette charge and then find the two wires with 5V on them using a volt meter. You can find more information on the GlobalSat's website, but you can probably do it from the picture. You can solder wires if you can read pinout diagrams. I was very happy that this came together quickly. The radio now displays lat, lon, course and speed in knots with one button push. It was pretty slick.

👤The unit has worked well with several Icom radios. An interface cable is trivial. The unit is in the side of my house. It's easy to work with. If I needed another such unit, I would recommend and purchase again.

👤I attached this to my Uniden SDS-100 scanner and it registered 'GPS' on the screen. I had a Plug & Play installation. The reception seems to work well with this receiver.

👤Overall rating is 3 stars for erratic output and cost. The price of the bare clone modules is 3x the price of the puck and cabling. The output is not ttl, it's rs232 which is inverted and the voltage on mine is - 4.5v to + 7.7v. There is an added converter. Couldn't get a fix. There are twelve sv in view. Thenav rcvr warning is V. After being off for 12 hours, the device gets a lock and is powered up. GPRMC messages are emitted in a staccato fashion, making gps use as a clock with a seconds indicator a little troublesome. The pattern is around 1100ms, 300ms, 800, 800 and then repeating. The bare $10 gps modules are not a problem with this.

8. Dual Electronics XGPS160 Multipurpose Augmentation

Dual Electronics XGPS160 Multipurpose Augmentation

The wide area augmentation system allows your device to connect to several satellites and provide accurate and reliable gps coordinates within 2.5m, Max Speed of 1,150 mph and Max Altitude of 65,600 ft. You can greatly strengthen your gps signal on any device by connecting to it via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless Hundreds of applications can be added to your device if you can add accurateGPS to it. The battery life of the gps receiver is extended to 10 hours of continuous use and it comes with a charging cord, a strap and a non-slip pad. The 1 year warranty has high quality and reliability with hassle-free parts and excellent customer service. The dimensions are 2.24” W x 2.24” D x 0.75” H. The battery can be charged in 3 hours. Plug in to 12Volts of direct current source for continuous use.

Brand: Dual Electronics

👤I've been on my third unit since November. The first unit bricked after six months of ownership. After a few months, the replacement unit stopped charging more than 50%. The third unit will no longer be seen by any apps even if the iPhone connects successfully. What is the solution to dual? Wait for an update. A piece of hardware that worked before with multiple apps and no longer works with any of them is going to be fixed by a single app update. I'm not holding my breath. There was an update on February 27th. My third device has failed but will not be covered by a warranty. Two years ago. They don't stand behind their products because of a serious quality control issue. I wouldn't recommend this gps.

👤They managed to have a high review rate on this product. There were more than 4 stars on its page. The usage experience is terrible. It can't establish stable satellite connections, either onboard aircraft or walking on the street, about 80% of the time. There are not a lot of buildings around and they are not separated from each other. I have traveled around the world. The utility app on the phone needs to be opened to get position for the map. My colleague bought a similar device on the aircraft, which worked just fine, but it was not connected to the iPad. I put the left side of my helmet upside down almost every time I flew, because I didn't like the idea of it being upside down. We have the same version of the software, connection to pad devices worked fine, but mine took forever to establish satellites connection, no matter how I tried. This is a result of the comments. The one without cable is mine. I kept trying more and more and decided to come back and leave something here, but I don't know how deep the hole will be.

👤The XGPS160 track logs are not always up to date, and they have gaps of a couple of seconds with no position reports. The track logs did not have these gaps. I had to manually connect the XGPS160 to the phone each time. When the view to the southern sky was blocked by steep hillsides, the GLO was more accurate. The view to the WAAS satellites may have been partially or fully blocked. Maybe the GLO handles that situation better. The two devices had the same accuracy on the flats where the southern sky was not blocked. I used the XGPS160 logging mode with no connection to the iPhone to compare, but I used the GLO to record tracks. I drove through the Santa Cruz Mountains and the San Francisco Bay Area on the same routes. The tracks from the two devices were very close to the southern sky. When the southern sky was not visible, the GLO tracks were more close to each other and to the location of the roads. The XGPS160 tracks were close to the ground. The dual XGPS status tool is a nice utility, but it has some rough edges, like the fact that it never reported that the WAAS satellites were in use, even though the comparison with GLO suggested they were indeed being used by the XGPS160. The Trips page often has multiple tracks listed.

9. Humminbird Precision Receiver Heading Sensor

Humminbird Precision Receiver Heading Sensor

All of the following models are compatible with the ASGPS NMEA adapter: SOLIX, HELIX, HELIX 10, HELIX 9, HELIX 8, HELIX 7 G2N, and G3N. HD DI combo, 959ci. The compatible Humminbird product requires software that is at least 6.570. The ASGPS NMEA cable is required for connection to SOLIX and ONIX Series. The ASGPS is required by APEX. InterLink will not work with this gps receiver. It is 1.5 inch high and comes with 20' cable. Fast position fixes are accurate within 2.5 meters.

Brand: Humminbird

👤I bought this unit to make my Solix 12 position information more accurate. It was mounted on a Ram D VHF antenna mount, which was perfect for my bass boat. There were no interference problems. I am using it to map the bottom of a historically significant bay. It allows me to run a parallel track with close spacing to make sure my DI and SI collections are fully covered.

👤Works as advertised. I put my Helix 12 SI up front. I now have a stationary heading indicator. The online video shows you how to program your Helix to use the external sensor instead of the internal one.

👤I mounted this unit on the rear deck. The chart is easy to navigate, and I am certain that the craft is going in a certain direction. It is worth owning. The only way to get there is with an antenna. I secured mine to the rear deck with a simple method. The satellites are able to see the antenna from several hundred miles above you. They can see over your shoulder.

👤I use my Helix 7 on my trolly motor to keep my heading on point.

👤Before drilling holes, be sure to try out the install location on your boat. The unit has a magnetic compass, so any motor, speaker or magnet will throw it off.

👤The accuracy is increased to within a few feet.

👤I have mounted this on my Polaris Ranger for ice fishing and will purchase a second for my boat. I was hoping for better accuracy in the gps, heading sensor, and speed areas.

👤Happy husband, happy wife, happy life? It was a good purchase. It is what it says it is. If you use Graphs to find the fish, you need one.

👤The product is authentic. Excellent price.

10. LandAirSea Waterproof Magnetic Personal Location

LandAirSea Waterproof Magnetic Personal Location

Tracking people, vehicles, and/or assets with a personal gps device. Ultra-compact design, built-in Super Strength Magnet. Attaches to vehicle are hidden in a backpack, case or purse. Track and map in real time on web-based software or SilverCloud App. Text and email notifications, location reporting, and historical playback are included.

Brand: Landairsea

👤I bought this because I suspected my boyfriend was unfaithful. I caught him doing the dirty with his ex-employee in his car the day it was delivered. Once you get to the point of wanting to find proof, you will find what you're looking for. It's funny thing... I didn't get to use the tracker yet because it was still on the charge.

👤The product is perfect. The case doesn't need to be strong. I was looking to find out where my husband was and it tracked the vehicle to the location. Evidence of his infidelity has given me peace of mind. Thanks for your help.

👤If you don't want to know the truth about a cheating person, don't buy this. I agree with that statement. This device will lead you straight there, so be sure to stop denying and be prepared to see the hard facts. The 30 second plan was too slow for me. The 10 second plan worked well for me. The company's people are amazing. The tech support is great. In the US. Very helpful and responsive. I only used it for a couple of months. Simple. You can use it under the vehicle. I found putting inside the truck to be just as accurate as putting outside. It's All True was the previous review. I am not a techie type person. I don't use tech whenever possible. I have to step up to the plate in certain situations. I have read at least a hundred reviews of this unit and many others in the same price range. The product is what was advertised. There is a It was easy to open an account on my phone. It took under 5 minutes. You have to pick a plan. There is a monthly fee. It's a small price to pay if you're serious about tracking someone. It was easy to get it up and running. It took 10 minutes. Max. It was partially charged out of the box, but it needed to be fully charged. The baby is accurate. I took it with me to run my errand and it showed me my location. At every stop. I know it has more features when using a computer, but I haven't had time to check it out. It is well constructed. The directions were easy to follow. It has a magnet in it. You don't have to buy a separate case. It seems like the battery life is good. It looks at all the boxes.

👤When it works, it works well. At times, the tracking does not update until the device is a long way away. Both of the gps units I purchased had the same issue. Better units out there are not reliable or safe in a covert situation.

👤The product was garbage, I put it on the car, and after one drive it fell of the car, and the battery died even though it was supposed to be at 60% life. $50 was wasted on the product and another $25 was spent on it. It was the worst waste of $75. Don't buy!

11. GlobalSat BU 353 S4 5Hz USB Receiver Black

GlobalSat BU 353 S4 5Hz USB Receiver Black

Highly sensitive to water. 48 channels all-in-view tracking Magnet Mount is where it was built. It's suitable for use in a wide range of applications, from vehicle navigation to fire trucks, police cars, buses and much more.

Brand: Globalsat

👤The waste of $100. I have not been able to get my people to work with Win 10 or ArcMap. A waste of money. It says in the specifications that it works with Windows 10. Save yourself some money. This technology is not new. This piece of junk is not very user friendly and is far superior to my old Garmin Legend. It couldn't communicate with the test software included and I had many people that tried to get it to work on different laptops and windows tablets without success. Don't buy it!

👤I use this device to record the data of test vehicles. It seems to be of good quality. I might throw a zip tie or tape over the magnet if it's not super strong on a high speed application. The cable is long and is suitable for most driving applications. The included software was used once by me. I can't form a good opinion of it from my limited use.

👤I use a gps device for my boat. It works well.

👤It's easy to set up and use Ubuntu. When it is in view of clear sky, it will get up to 0.6m accuracy horizontally and 3m vertically. The SiRFdemo program needs to be able to manage it under windows. I have bought seven of them so far.

👤The gps puck met all of my needs. It starts fast. I use it to monitor the speed of the gps device. Very happy with the product.

👤You can use your laptop to plot your routes with a great receiver.

👤I bought this after reading that it's a reliable, if slow, gps receiver that is well supported on Linux. I'm giving up and ordering a different one from a non-Amazon vendor after spending a lot of time trying to get it to work. Every diagnostic and management tool I've used successfully opens the connection, but all attempts to swap to SiRF or NMEA fail with no error. The software that speaks both protocols can't determine if it's SiRF or NMEA, and can't read any data at all. The device has just been plugged in and the red light starts flashing, which seems suspicious since it has just been plugged in. I have come to the conclusion that my device is broken or that I received a counterfeit device. These can be found for less on other sites.
