👤I want to get out of the way that I'm not an expert and just use this for accurate time, location, and messing around occasionally. This module has performed very well in my testing. You can't really complain about it. My first lock took about 5 minutes, but the first one didn't take long at all. The module seems to work if it's connected to a power source. When you see a green light, you know you have a lock. The quality of that lock can be very good, but you should at least have 2 satellites locked up. After I downloaded the software and driver from the U-Blox website, I plugged the gps receiver in with a cable and set it next to a window, I decided to try it on my Windows 8.1 PC. I saw a flashing light on the gps receiver and a few satellites were locked on in the software after 5 minutes. I had 7 satellites locked and 10 that were being heard. There was a small drift in speed, altitude, and latitude/longitude, but that's to be expected in modern cell phoneGPS receivers. That's a pretty good price for a cheap little device. I think I'll have better luck outside, because that was indoors. I plugged it into the device I was going to use it with, the Raspberry Pi 4 being used as an amateur radio field computer. I got a lock and an accurate grid locator when I plugged it in and configured it correctly, which is what I wanted since the Pi doesn't keep time by itself unless you use an RTC. The receiver looks pretty nice, and works exactly as it should. It can't be beaten for fifteen bucks. I'll probably end up buying more in the future because it works very well. 10/10
👤I needed a reliable time source for the ham radio digital programs and this was recommended to me. If you download the recommended software on this page, it may interfere with the software that is needed to update the computer time. I use a timer. There are many others available. I ordered a second extension cable for my other computer and it was very pleased. 73, WB4GUD.
👤A gps dongle? I was skeptical because most of the antennas are 6 to 36 inches long. I plugged it into the mt PC and after it loaded the appropriate driver, I started to see the gps data. That is boring. What about a computer? Check the video. It is too easy. Make sure your copy of Raspbian is current. To verify the TTY assigned to the dongle, open a terminal window and use apt-get install minicom. Then you have minicom -b 115200 -o -d. You have a device. What could you do with it? You can put it in your kid's trunk to see where they go. It's a good idea to put it in the sales rep's car to see if they actually visit the customer. Before you do that, check the laws of your state.
The baud rate is 9600). It can work with the device. This G28U7FTTL can replace VK16E. It can be used in a lot of things. They will send the document to you. They will send the document to you.
A dash cam mount can be used to replace a damaged or lost mount. It works for Vantrue N4, N2S, X4S, T3 dash cam. Attaching to a clean and smooth surface will give you maximum holding strength. The ball head gives flexibility for positioning the camera. The slide mount system allows you to remove the dash cam without damaging your window, and you can remove the mount without damaging it.
👤This is a must have if you have an N4.
It's compatible with the car gps navigation system. The suit is for most of the car DVRGPS Module. The Fakra C terminal has a cable type that is Magnet Mount Base. Bandwidth: 1575.42MHz6MHz, Impedance: 50 ohm. The package includes Fakra gps antenna and double tape.

Vehicle speed and location are displayed. Lock/arm, remote start, trunk release, panic button, and 2 aux channels. You can remotely start the device via a phone. The vehicle must have a remote-start system. It's not compatible with theBlackBerry devices. It's not compatible with theBlackBerry devices.
👤I have been using it since it was installed. It's great to be able to start my car from a mile away. I started it from Brazil while my car was in the garage. The smart start was as advertised. No issues so far. I must add one thing. Make sure your installer knows what they're doing. The product won't work as advertised if it isn't installed correctly.
👤I love being able to start my car. It was purchased for a Honda Odyssey. It will start by remote start. When you open the door, the engine stops. Once you get to your car, you have to start it again. Installation dealers can program 12 to 24 min. I went with 24. The aux does not work for my car. The installation dealer couldn't open the side doors or trunk remotely. It stinks that you can't open your door with your remote when it's started. You will have to use the app to get your keys.
👤It was very fast and accurate. I have some older modules that take about 30 seconds to update. This one only takes a few seconds. Nice.
👤The unit was installed the same day that I got it. The smart stopped working and the vehicle sat for a while. The module has been searching for a cellular connection the whole time. Contacted Smart Start. The unit hasn't communicated with their server since 10/31. I used out of this for 3 days before it failed.
👤You have to do a new subscription with dei, but they will credit you for any existing subscription.
👤It works well with the 4806v. It took a pro 20 minutes to install it.
👤The product is compatible with DS4/DS4+ and most directed systems.
👤If DEI still included the 6 pin analog cable, this would be great. It appears to be impossible to get right now. It's a paperweight if I can find the DEI part. My installer can't do anything with it.
The link to use the template is in the description. The gps module will not search for signals when the weather is bad and it will not search for stars indoors. Please make sure that the gps module is in an open location when using it. The main module of the GT-U7 needs to be set to 9600 instead of 4800 to drive a hardware high precision clock. The phone data cable can be used directly on the computer point of view, and the default distribution of active antenna can be quickly positioned with the IPEX antenna interface. The host computer-owned serial port function allows for the sending of IPX interface active antenna without the need for an external serial module.
👤The U-Blox Neo 6m is a clone of this chip. There is a It's a device that uses 5 volts. Both 5v with Rx and Tx. The Baud rate is higher than typical modules. Once you are connected, it works with TinyGPS and AdadfruitGPS libraries. The U-blox U-Center software can be used to interface directly with the chip. The U-center is complex and daunting. Since the device is a clone not every feature is guaranteed to work through U-Center but many useful settings do. The software is a direct software. The baud rate may be different for the serial and theusb connection. It costs me a lot of pain to learn, so I'm going to try it out. I am using several of this module. It gets a fix very fast.
👤The unit is a great value. It appears to use an authentic U-Blox chip under the metal can and white label. Most U-Center software functions seem to work. I made an NTP time server using theRaspberry Pi 2. Accuracy can be reached down to a few 10s of seconds. This requires configuring the Pi to accept a signal from one of the pins. I used the "GPSD" and "NTPD" packages to interface with the unit. When first powered up, the gpsd appears to update the time and other parameters that allow a quick "cold fix" when the TX and RX serial lines are connected. There is a word on power and levels. The module on the board is 3.3v. The board has a 3.3volt regulator that can be used to power theusb port. The Vcc pin is connected to the input. This is the updated version. The Vcc pin is the only one that can be used to power the module. The Vcc pin on the onboard voltage regulator is not functioning properly. It appears to function normally, but will be subject to very frequent dropouts of 3D lock and other erratic operation. Also. If a computer is connected to a computer and the board is operating from 3.3v on the Vcc pin, the device providing power to 5v on its 3.3v output would be required. Be careful. 3.3v is the logic high input/output levels of the TXD, RXD and PPS pins. The link in the listing clearly states these interface pins are not 5 volts. If you use a device that uses 5v as its logic "high" to connect to an input on this device, you will damage the chip. It may work for a while, but it's stressing the chip beyond the maximum ratings. The data on the receiving device will be very sensitive to noise and corrupted data, so the data on the outputs is not damaged. It may seem like it works, but you should invest in a cheap 3.3v level conversion chip for a few dollars if you want to connect to an auderc. The device is exactly the same as the pi.
👤I love these things. It works beautifully with the TinyGPS library and is 5V friendly. You can modify the ublox u-center software if you hunt it down. I've been using them for custom clocks. Don't set the time! Even from a cold start in the basement, aGPS lock can be achieved in minutes.
Xtenzi ActiveGPS navigation antenna is compatible with Pioneer navigation receiver. Ready to plug in and use magnetic base that can adhere to any metal surface. Help the gps to get a stronger signal. Excellent temperature stability,Compact construction, and low noise figure. If you don't have a gps antenna, it's an ideal replacement for lost or damaged one. It is compatible with the following:SPHDA110,SPHDA210,AVIC-6000NEX.
👤A Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX headunit is being used in a car. The instructions given with this antenna seem to be copied from Pioneer's installation manual with a few exceptions. It seems to work, but not without some issues. The original gps antenna that comes with the Pioneer radio has metal tape on it. I don't know what this tape is like, but I can assume it's magnetic, because I didn't buy the radio new. The base of the gps antenna is magnetic. Quite a strong object. I assume you put metal tape on something that isn't magnetic, so that the gps antenna can attach anywhere. I'm having a hard time figuring out where to put the magnetic surface because of the tape. It needs to be put somewhere in line-of- sight of the sky and magnetic for it to stay there. My car's dashboard, pillars, and rear deck area are all covered in plastic or fabric, so that's a challenge. I'll look into buying metal tape separately. The female plug on the Pioneer radio did not sit all the way into the male plug on the antenna. I pushed on the plug harder than I should have. I tried to look closely but it was hard to see. I put a small push pin into the center hole of the antenna plug to open it up. I was able to shove the clip into the radio. It seems to work well enough to fool the radio.
👤This one worked perfectly if you hooked up a Pioneer 7100 series.
👤It was a little difficult to get going, but it took off and is working great.
👤It worked great and was cheap, but I needed a gps antenna for my radio.
👤I should get a gps signal clip from pioneer as the junk in my truck broke out.
👤Exactly as described, quick shipping.
The companion app allows you to get up and running in seconds. It's lightweight, small and concealable. In January 2022. Real-time motion and whistle alert systems are designed to prevent crime. Track down your vehicle and react quickly to attempted theft of cars, motorcycles, bikes, vans, boats, trucks and high value tools. Protect your family and friends. It's easy to hide. You can have peace of mind by being monitored 24/7. Great for people of all ages. Up to 4 month jail sentence. It is the most important feature for protecting against theft. Every 30 minutes, position updates. In 1 hour. There is a 2-year free subscription. No credit card is needed. A built-in card. After 24 months, it was only $2.49/month. The US and Hawaii have 4G networks. After 2 years, the cheapest device on the market is gone.
👤The first one came with no cell phone. The model I got is restricted in this region. The next one will hopefully work. I will update this review and rating once I find out. There is an update. The second one arrived without a sim. The Monimoto tracker was brought by me. It works. The Invoxia tracker was a shame because it was easier to hide. They might get their act together some day.
👤I bought this because it is the only one that will fit inside a bike frame. The signal disappears as soon as it is put in the frame. Tech support told me that this cannot be in contact with metal. I told them my bike is made of metal. The purpose of putting it in a pouch is lost because thieves can just throw it away. Tech support told me to return the tracker because it wouldn't work for the purpose I bought it for. There is a The battery life is amazing and the 2 years of coverage is awesome. I found another use for it. I will try the swisstrack gps bike tracker.
👤The first device I received was a DOA. The website doesn't have contact info so I used Amazon to exchange the item. It worked as expected. The company is uncontactable. The second device was activated well. It isn't very good at location tracking. I've taken it with me around the Southern California area, where it's very well covered cell services. The device is 60 miles from its last location and has been moving for 2 hours, but still shows the location where it spent last night. This is not good at locating a location. I bought this to compare with my product. Invoxia is very thin and sleek. Light and small. Style points for hardware. The cube is black. Solid, more useful LEDs, but slightly less cool. There is no website. It's a shame for those who want to use a computer. The "web 1.0" style site is how Americaloc works. I can see location data from my mobile browser because it's intended for computers. Invoxia only has "fast/normal/slow" update rates. Something like 15 minutes. There is a lot of practical control here. The update rates for GL300 are very low. This setting helps control battery usage and I have had it for years. It works. Invoxia doesn't work and it has worse features than other trackers. Don't buy.
👤If children travel in cars, this is not a good tracker. That's a good thing because it looks like it uses theLTE. If you are considering buying one of these, please look at the graphic that is provided in the listing that shows a cell phone screen with a map beside a tracker and notice a few things. The dots and time stamps are not stop points. The points where the tracker happened to be are just that. They are on the streets. They are connected with diagonal lines that cross over multiple possible routes. The fastest update setting is 5 minutes and a moving vehicle can go a long way in that time. The tracker will need to be charged more frequently if the updates are frequent. My Invoxia is just a few days instead of months. Imagine that the vehicle that the tracker was in used many of the same streets on the same day. Imagine a map that is cluttered with time stamps and you have to scroll all the way down to find all of the time stamps from a given trip to get a rough idea of the route that was taken. It can get very cluttered if you don't clear the screen before midnight. I have a tracker that updates every 15 seconds and renders the exact route that was taken. I can clear the map between trips with two taps, and I can play a history on the map of the whole day at many speeds. A single charge lasts at least 5 times as long as the Invoxia, even using 15 second updates. It has a strong magnet to hold it in place. I paid $25 for the tracker at Amazon and $9.95 a month for the cellular service that keeps it connected through SpeedTalk.net. The service is free. It is nearly perfect because it occasionally logs points that are not correct. They are easy to ignore because they are miles off target and could not have been traveled in 15 seconds. After about 2 months, my Invoxia stopped working. When I open the app, I can see a point near me, but not anymore. There is no time stamp. I've been trying to get this fixed for more than a month. It can take more than a day to send a message to them because of the different time zones. They are in Paris. I made a mistake when I set up my account. I can't get e-mails that are addressed to me because I made a mistake in my email address. I can communicate with tech support using a different email address, but I can't use automated features like password recovery. The fact that they didn't confirm that the e-mail address I submitted was working is a sign of their poor standing with me. If it's not very close by, I only know of the phone app or the Web site. I can send an email to my other tracker and get a link to a map showing it's location in seconds. I can do this from any smart phone. geo fencing is a feature that is supposed to alert me when a tracker enters or leaves an area that I have designated on a map. This feature has not worked well for me on either tracker. Some of the trackers are not compatible withLTE. Those that don't will stop working when there is a future date. There are a lot of gps trackers available. If Invoxia gets my tracker working again, I will post an update. The day after I posted this review, everything started working again.
Vantrue N2 Pro / N2 / T2 / R3 / X3 Dash cam Mini Suction Port Car Cup Mount withGPS Receiver Module is compatible with Windows and Mac. You can check the location of your vehicle with the gps mount. It doesn't work for Vantrue X1 / N1 Pro / X1 PRO / X2 / R2 Dash cam. It doesn't work for Vantrue X1 / N1 Pro / X1 PRO / X2 / R2 Dash cam.
👤This is the first car that has a gps device. The accuracy is within reasonable error and I have ever experienced it. The location of the charging port and the size of the mount are the same as the original one. This mount and the N2 Pro Dashcams features make for an excellent around town, highway, or even taxi camera that will protect your wallet in case of the worst. I tested the accuracy by driving around town in situations such as heavy accelerations, heavy braking, and regular use. In all of the testing I noticed a small delay, about a second or two, before the speedometer caught up with my current speed, or slowed down in the case of braking. The heavy acceleration performed well. I saw a delay of 1.5 to 2 seconds before the speed was registered, but the accuracy was dead on. The heavy braking performed well. The accuracy was within reason, as I saw a delay of about 2 to 3 seconds before the correct speed was registered. Normal use performed well. I saw a delay of about 1 second before the correct speed was registered, and the accuracy was dead on. When you stop at a stop sign, the speed limit on the car's speedometer may not register 0 MPH unless you wait a little longer. There is a * Sometimes when you accelerate the car, the speed can be overstated by a couple of MPH, but it will come back to normal within a couple of minutes. The mount seems to be of the same quality as the original, and seems to hold up to loud bass. The new location of the charging ports allows for less obtrusion in the drivers vision. The original had a port facing the left, while the new one is nearest to the headliners.
👤This shows your actual MPH on your recorded drives. You can see the route you took with the software. There is a I was unable to give this a 5 star because of the location of theusb port on the device. The N2 Pro's port is on the side of the device so you can technically install it right up to the upper edge of the screen. You need to push it at least an inch down the window to get the port on the top of the device to work. It also restricts how close I can get my car to the mirror before swinging it into a locked position, which is an added impediment. The whole enclosure comes with my car. I believe there is a little man or woman in the room who decides how dark it is out there and switches the mirror to night time mode, saving me the wrist action involved in doing so manually. I don't think so. I don't recommend buying this product.
👤I bought this because I wanted to be able to prove location, speed and time if I was involved in an accident. It has worked well and is worth the money. I was able to prove that I was not speeding with the help of the data and video from my Vantrue N2 Pro. This is a must have for any of the above listed cameras. It is not an expensive add on to buy. Thank you Vantrue!
Their gps vehicle tracker works in the US, Canada and Mexico, so you know where your assets are in each country. The monthly cost is $19.50 for a cellular network that transports your data without fees. Reliable gps tracking with no surprise loss in power by running off your vehicle's power is not required. There is no hidden fee for the device. There are no activation fees. There are no cancellation fees. There are no upgrade fees. Family focus. The only gps tracker on the market that is developed with input from driving instructors and law enforcement to focus on teen safety to encourage open and honest conversation at home.
👤I wanted to put these in my father's cars. You have to register the devices and enter your card information before you can try to install them. I tried calling customer support and got a message, but I couldn't get them to connect with the app. I gave up and returned them after an hour of messing with it. When I contacted MOTOsafety for a refund on the $20 they had already charged my card for the monthly payment, I was told the company doesn't issue refunds. They were out of the box for less than two hours and didn't work, but I have to pay for the whole month. They force you to give your card information before you know if the product will work, and then refuse to refunds if it doesn't work. Don't buy if you're warned.
👤They call your house, leave a message on the machine, and then you have to have an awkward conversation with a man. Thanks! The software is easy to use and works great, not the point of what I was doing.
👤My old car won't start when I install it, which is the car I intend to pass on to my new driver. I put it in my other car. It worked well for a couple of days, but it killed my alternator. I put a new battery in it and I was so angry. I had to replace the alternator which cost $400. I will not recommend this tracker to anyone. It's a waste of time and money.
👤This is an excellent tracking device and it was easy for this grandmother to install. My son in law went over the blinking lights several times with a permanent marker to make them invisible to the average person. I was able to track the location of my car as it was being driven by a family member who was out on bail. It took less than a week for this person to be caught. I was able to find out where every stop occurred by looking at the addresses it provided. The home drug testing kit was positive for meth. I had to do this because I knew I had to have some evidence when I confronted this person because I kept falling for the lies being told to me. I had an issue when I tried to cancel the service. When it finally transferred me to an associate, calls went unanswered or I was put on hold. Two emails were acknowledged and then nothing. The online associate told me to call the customer service number. All issues were resolved after a call from customer service.
👤My mother-in-law drives. It was very bad! She doesn't use a smart phone, so I needed a way to monitor her driving. I chose the MotoSafety tracker after a lot of research. Although the device is primarily used for fleet usage and teenage driver applications, it seemed like the device could be used to monitor elderly drivers and provide theft monitoring as well. I have been using the device for a while. Installation is easy. Plug the device into the port under the dash on the driver's side. When the key is turned on, the unit starts searching for a gps signal. There are apps for both Apple and Android devices, as well as a direct link website for other types of browser use. The sign up can be done with an email address. The setup is best done through the website. The tracker will show the current or last position once the account is set up. It will record the track of the car. The track shows the route taken, but also gives stop points, how long the vehicle remained at a location, and the address of the location. Other useful features include time period usage and maintenance reporting. Since the tracker is a teen driving monitor, one can use the technology to show on a map where the car can be driven. The time period can be set to make sure the curfew is met. The heavy braking/acceleration can be used to alert for a sudden stop that might indicate an accident. The tracker does not use air bag deployment, but uses sophisticated algorithms to record acceleration/deceleration rates. The maintenance report shows the current battery voltage and fuel quantity. Engine trouble codes would be recorded, but I have not observed this feature. Knowing when the car was being operated and where it was being used was my primary concern. The alert features helped to give this information, but needed a work around. If the teenager was out after a certain time, an alert would be sent to the parents' phone, email, or both. An elderly driver monitoring alert would require the opposite information. I read that a daughter had set an authorized time period for her dad that she was certain he wouldn't be driving at 1am. Any usage outside of that time period would prompt an alert that the car was being operated. The alert shows as an Unauthorized Use alert when it is set up this way. They need to know how the alert works if they are designated to receive it. An alert showing usage outside of a designated area would be very useful for a driver who becomes confused while driving. There are a couple of useful alerts. The default time is 5 minutes. An alert is sent if the car is idling for longer. This feature is helpful for an elderly driver in case of fatigue. When the device is removed from the port, there is a Tamper alert. If the device is not securely positioned in the port, this alert can be triggered. I have not had this problem. The purchase price was through Amazon. A monthly fee is charged by MotoSafety. I am very pleased with the design, function, and user experience of the device, app, website, and customer support of Agilis. I recommend the device to anyone with a teen or elderly driver.
Tracking people, vehicles, and/or assets with a personal gps device. Ultra-compact design, built-in Super Strength Magnet. Attaches to vehicle are hidden in a backpack, case or purse. Track and map in real time on web-based software or SilverCloud App. Text and email notifications, location reporting, and historical playback are included.
👤I bought this because I suspected my boyfriend was unfaithful. I caught him doing the dirty with his ex-employee in his car the day it was delivered. Once you get to the point of wanting to find proof, you will find what you're looking for. It's funny thing... I didn't get to use the tracker yet because it was still on the charge.
👤The product is perfect. The case doesn't need to be strong. I was looking to find out where my husband was and it tracked the vehicle to the location. Evidence of his infidelity has given me peace of mind. Thanks for your help.
👤If you don't want to know the truth about a cheating person, don't buy this. I agree with that statement. This device will lead you straight there, so be sure to stop denying and be prepared to see the hard facts. The 30 second plan was too slow for me. The 10 second plan worked well for me. The company's people are amazing. The tech support is great. In the US. Very helpful and responsive. I only used it for a couple of months. Simple. You can use it under the vehicle. I found putting inside the truck to be just as accurate as putting outside. It's All True was the previous review. I am not a techie type person. I don't use tech whenever possible. I have to step up to the plate in certain situations. I have read at least a hundred reviews of this unit and many others in the same price range. The product is what was advertised. There is a It was easy to open an account on my phone. It took under 5 minutes. You have to pick a plan. There is a monthly fee. It's a small price to pay if you're serious about tracking someone. It was easy to get it up and running. It took 10 minutes. Max. It was partially charged out of the box, but it needed to be fully charged. The baby is accurate. I took it with me to run my errand and it showed me my location. At every stop. I know it has more features when using a computer, but I haven't had time to check it out. It is well constructed. The directions were easy to follow. It has a magnet in it. You don't have to buy a separate case. It seems like the battery life is good. It looks at all the boxes.
👤When it works, it works well. At times, the tracking does not update until the device is a long way away. Both of the gps units I purchased had the same issue. Better units out there are not reliable or safe in a covert situation.
👤The product was garbage, I put it on the car, and after one drive it fell of the car, and the battery died even though it was supposed to be at 60% life. $50 was wasted on the product and another $25 was spent on it. It was the worst waste of $75. Don't buy!
