1. Generation Dashboard Recorder G Sensor Recording

Generation Dashboard Recorder G Sensor Recording

A built-in gps logger can show you the time, speed, or location of your vehicle while you're on the road. Simply connect to the Rexing Connect App or download their gps logger software on your computer to view where you have been. The top image sensor captures beautiful 2160p video even while driving fast. The V1GW-4K is a well-hidden witness to the road ahead. Micro SD memory cards can hold up to a maximum of 128 gigabytes in memory size. 170 DEGREE WIDE ANGLE LENS. The 7 layer glass lens opens up to give you a panoramic view. The WDR technology allows the camera to perform in any lighting situation by adjusting the exposure to create balanced images and footage. The parking marshal is a super criminal. The dash cam uses a supercapacitor that can survive temperatures from -20 to 176F, which prevents the risk of overheating, and extends the life span and reliability of the camera. When the parking monitor feature is used, the dash camera will turn on and record a 20 second video when the car camera senses a vibration, or it will record a 24 hour video when the car camera captures frames. The parking mode needs a smart hardwire kit. You can view, save, and share dash cam recordings on your mobile device with the use of an app interface.

Brand: Rexing

👤This is my first car purchase. I bought this camera because it is 4K, has a good design, and has a good price, but mostly because it has internet access on my phone. I wanted to avoid having to remove the card or the camera from my computer to see the images, especially if I need to review them during an accident. The owners manual is lacking in detail and instruction is important to make this a seamless install. Page 15 in the book states "To access or exit the WiFi feature, hold down OK". This is not correct. One example is when you use my camera to start the internet. The Rexing Connect App only has a rating of 1.4 out of 5 stars. There are a lot of negative comments on the App Store. I found that the key was to turn off Cellular when you go into the phone settings, and to find the Rexing app listed. It worked for some reason. The app needs better instructions. My vehicle is a Ford F-150. The only way the camera can connect to the internet is if the CARPLAY is disconnected. I am not sure if Rexing is aware of this issue. The design of the unit is small, but you can't see a good image on the screen when it's installed like all the sales literature shows. This is because the unit is attached to the windshield, which is on an angle, so it doesn't affect your line of sight. The rear view mirror on the left side is installed at the same height. The screen is almost useless because of my line of sight relative to the camera screen. It would be more useful if the screen was adjusted to allow a line of sight for the driver. If you are looking at the screen in a different direction, you can see it clearly. It means putting my head on the center console and almost laying my body on the floor. The images are clear. I would like to give it 5 stars but because of the App, instruction book, and visibility of the screen when installed, I am giving it 3 stars.

👤The product does what it says it does. There is a lot to read in license plates that are close by. If you use the video to get yourself out of blame for an accident, it shouldn't be a problem. While the car is off, the product is not able to capture anything. I don't know how well the smart hardwire kit works. I would attach a picture but Amazon could degrade it. Shadows in the 4k video are darker than in the high definition video. Bright objects and colors look the same. To make sure the device can record correctly, be sure to use a class 10 card. If you turn off loop recording, you have to manually clear recordings from your memory card whenever storage is full, which is why we recommend keeping it on. Unless you will wipe the card out after every drive, keep it on so you don't have to worry about it filling up and not recording anymore. The gps position was off by 10 degrees latitude and 5 degrees longitude, but the speed was within a couple miles per hour. Even if the location glitch was temporary, it's not a deal-breaker as this dash cam is not a navigation device and you'll probably have a phone with gps to give you your location. There is a The video file type is.mp4 and it uses the hevc codec to keep file size down so make sure the computer you are going to use to review the video is able to handle that type of compression. If you don't want to spend the money on the video, you can use a media player such as the one provided by VLC to play it. That should be the end. If you don't want to pay the extra $30 for the gps logger, I would recommend this product or the one without it if you don't want to have an extra feature. If there are any developments, I will update this review.

2. Kingslim D4 Touchscreen Dashboard Starvis

Kingslim D4 Touchscreen Dashboard Starvis

The Kingslim D4 4K dual dash camera can record videos in front and rear of the car, clearly capturing license plates and road signs. You can adjust the settings on your phone via the phone APP. Setting/functions are easy to operate at your fingertips. GPS data for your driving can be recorded in videos. There is a gps module attached to the dash cameras. The gps videos can be watched on the official website. Kingslim dual dash cam has a Sony IMX335 STARVIS sensor and HiSilicon Hi3559 processor. Even in low-light environments, you can record stunning details with super night vision, f/1.8 and WDR technology. It has front and rear viewing angles of 170 and 150 and a glass fixed-focus lens that gives it sharper and clearer images. It is enough for recording 4K videos if you have a 512 gigabyte card. You never lose crucial evidence with the loop recording function. It means you have protection for your car. Please use a high-endurance card to record and play 4K resolution video. They recommand the U3 card from SAMSUNG.

Brand: Kingslim

👤Just received it. The user manual is easy to read and the camera looks good. The mount is in my Toyota Prius. The initial quality of images look great. There is an update! I can't stress it enough. This is an absolute necessity for any vehicle. It might be a saving grace to have good image quality. We were rear ended. I just bought a car and it's been totaled. The dash cam shows that I was correct.

👤The Kingslim D1 Pro is a small and affordable package. This would be great if you are a driver of a school bus or other passenger vehicle and you want to simultaneously monitor the road and the vehicle occupants. Even if the inside of your vehicle is completely dark in the middle of the night, the cabin-facing camera has IR LEDs to provide night vision. You can record in up to 2k resolution with only the forward facing camera, which has a 30 frames per second camera, and you can connect your Apple or Android device to play back the videos you have recorded on the camera. The video processing has standard features such as WDR, although I didn't notice a video format option in terms of h265 vs h264, although I could have missed it. The dash cam has a small internal battery, so if the camera sees someone hit your card or rear-end your vehicle, it will turn off the vehicle and give you a parking monitor. Kingslim has a 32 gigabyte MicroSD card, which is not the largest capacity card available, but it is still a nice feature, and you can try out the camera before buying a more expensive card. The gps module is built into the power cord, not the camera itself, and they give you a template to stick to your windshield first, to help you pick a good position for the camera, gps module, and wiring, to achieve a professional-looking install. They have a plastic cable pusher, a few cable clips, and a mini-usb cable for copying videos to your computer, so you have 3 ways of viewing/saving videos. The camera is a great value, with gps position + speed monitoring, video caption with date/time, cabin-facing camera with 4 light-sensitive IR LEDs for night vision, and the included 32gb MicroSD card. If you need to see toward the rear of your car even in the dark, this camera will do the job for you for a very reasonable price. I haven't run into any issues yet, but my experience so far has been positive with Kingslim's customer service, and my other camera by the same company has continued to work great.

👤I bought a new car and installed a camera in it to record my driving experiences and to record a video in case my car is hit while parked. The camera works. It was easy to install. I didn't know it was only recorded in black and white. The app for the camera is not easy to use. You have to be in the car to see the video. You can send clips to someone who will watch them. If you take the micro chip out and look at it on the computer, the app is not very user friendly and you can't see the gps. I am satisfied with the camera, but hope they make the viewing apps more user friendly.

3. Channel Dashboard Recorder G Sensor Recording

Channel Dashboard Recorder G Sensor Recording

The signature low-profile design of the V1LG allows it to be hidden. HD dual camera recording captures HD video at 30 frames per second. The wide range allows the camera to perform in low-light situations. HD REAR CAMERA records in a high-definition format, giving you clear, high-definition video of both ends of the road. A built-in gps. You can mark time, date, location, and speed information on your recordings without the need for a separate accessory. When the storage limit on the memory card is reached, new recordings will be overwrite the older ones. It supports Class 10 or higher MicroSD cards. The current video is locked when the built-in gravity sensor discovers a collision. The video will be kept locked.

Brand: Rexing

👤This is my 4th dash cam. My dash cam will be replaced so it can record both front and rear. The second dash cam was for my wife. She didn't want one until I caught a hit and run person with my dash cam. I received a third dash cam as a gift because I've been so happy with Rexing. Menus and options are easy to understand. I like to be able to switch between multi view, front and rear view, but will probably leave it at rear view. You can turn it off. Recording sound can be turned off. I don't think it's an important feature for me. It would be great if businesses kept track of their employees. It sets the time and date. The main power cable needs to be made a foot longer, like it was on the previous model. The cable for the rear view camera was long enough for my car.

👤The front and rear cameras won't work if it's left in the sun and over hot. You have to remove it from the shield every day. It is important to prevent damage from the weather.

👤It didn't work from the time we plugged in. We tried it for the first time one month after buying it. There was no power to the unit. I was told by Amazon that they wouldn't replace it. Nice.

👤I've tried many cameras and found this one to be the best so far.

👤It was the most difficult dash cam to mount for our cars. The little clips were hard to put on, and the instructions were poor. The back camera kept falling down even though we used our own tape to mount it. The back camera was finally mounted to a cup and we hope it will stay up. The box seal was open, some parts in the back of cameras were massy, and we received our order even before the product was supposed to be back in stock. On May 30th, the back camera was mounted on the cup and the front camera could see the back view. The front camera could not see the back camera view as the car was being driven. Nothing worked after a reset. The front camera fell off after the car was parked under the sun.

👤I was not a fan of this product in my original review. It had fried a memory card. After having a dash cam for a few months and two road trips, I've increased the number of stars. The thing has been doing its job since I plugged it in. The replacement unit didn't destroy a memory card. I think I'm out of harms way. It was like getting a replay of my vacation earlier this year when I pulled all the videos from it. Very cool! I think you'll like this one if you're looking for your first dash cam. The only thing you have to do is put a small plate on your car that will hold the device and allow it to plug into the cigarette plug. When you start the car it will start recording. 30 seconds later, it wraps up the recording and waits for you to start driving again. You can press the button and it will say "whatever's going on now, keep it!" Getting it going is easy. If you need to pull videos from it, I have a piece of advice: Take the unit out of your car and bring it to your computer. You'll be tempted to pull the memory card because it's much smaller. You risk losing 5 minutes of footage if the machine is not off. It could be really bad if you grab it right after a car accident. Pull the unit and let it power down on its own before removing the card. It's spring loaded. I was able to launch the card behind my desk.

👤This is for online church services out of necessity. A good microphone doesn't need anything extra. It's easy to use off the phone app. Does not zoom enough to be effective. We have to put ours on a tripod because it can't zoom in enough for the back. Every time we use it, they ask to update the firmware. It's not possible to use for Youtube live. The recommended website is very difficult to use.

👤The introductory price was $299, but it was selling for $399 after it was released. It works well as a wireless camera, though it is pricey. Unless you zoom in 3x at the edge of the picture, the control app on the phone works very well. I can see distortion on one side of the lens. I've never run out of battery and leave in running for more than 3 hours. We use it to feed the audio from the outdoor mixer into the camera. We set the camera on NDI mode and feed it into OBS studio on a computer in the building, separated from the outdoor service, where we produce the program. Audio and Video are in good working order. The camera will adjust to mic level or line level input. The free NDI Tools package is available on the web or a driver for OBS that can find NDI sources, so you can use it in NDI mode. You can use the NDI Tools package to make the NDI source appear as a webcam and use programs like zoom to do it. If you don't want to use Vimeo, you need to have a Premium Subscription, which is very expensive if you don't want to use it. They acknowledged this, but said that was a condition of the deal when MEVO separated from Vimeo. We use OBS for the title. You should not have to pay more for titling after you pay for the camera.

👤The battery lasts at least 4 hours, and the mobile app control is easy to use, and the different views are really nice. It's small. I don't need a case for it. It is in a purse. Things that I don't like include: - After about an hour, it starts burning/fading certain scenes, and even the recording doesn't look right. It's hard to turn it on and off. You have to hold the power button down for a while and you never know if it's on or off.

👤The camera is designed for streaming. It works well for my viewers. I use it for church services on Sundays. Most of the time, I'm viewing on small screens. It works well for this purpose. This time, it's live on Facebook. I like the easy set-up. I will be using the NDI features in the future. When the multi-camera app is available, I will purchase at least 2 or 3 more to be more creative. The small size is a nice feature because it can be placed close to the subject and not be an obstruction to the audience.

5. LandAirSea Waterproof Magnetic Personal Location

LandAirSea Waterproof Magnetic Personal Location

Track and map in real time on web-based software or SilverCloud App. Text and email notifications, location reporting, and historical playback are included.

Brand: Landairsea

👤I bought this because I suspected my boyfriend was unfaithful. I caught him doing the dirty with his ex-employee in his car the day it was delivered. Once you get to the point of wanting to find proof, you will find what you're looking for. It's funny thing... I didn't get to use the tracker yet because it was still on the charge.

👤The product is perfect. The case doesn't need to be strong. I was looking to find out where my husband was and it tracked the vehicle to the location. Evidence of his infidelity has given me peace of mind. Thanks for your help.

👤If you don't want to know the truth about a cheating person, don't buy this. I agree with that statement. This device will lead you straight there, so be sure to stop denying and be prepared to see the hard facts. The 30 second plan was too slow for me. The 10 second plan worked well for me. The company's people are amazing. The tech support is great. In the US. Very helpful and responsive. I only used it for a couple of months. Simple. You can use it under the vehicle. I found putting inside the truck to be just as accurate as putting outside. It's All True was the previous review. I am not a techie type person. I don't use tech whenever possible. I have to step up to the plate in certain situations. I have read at least a hundred reviews of this unit and many others in the same price range. The product is what was advertised. There is a It was easy to open an account on my phone. It took under 5 minutes. You have to pick a plan. There is a monthly fee. It's a small price to pay if you're serious about tracking someone. It was easy to get it up and running. It took 10 minutes. Max. It was partially charged out of the box, but it needed to be fully charged. The baby is accurate. I took it with me to run my errand and it showed me my location. At every stop. I know it has more features when using a computer, but I haven't had time to check it out. It is well constructed. The directions were easy to follow. It has a magnet in it. You don't have to buy a separate case. It seems like the battery life is good. It looks at all the boxes.

👤When it works, it works well. At times, the tracking does not update until the device is a long way away. Both of the gps units I purchased had the same issue. Better units out there are not reliable or safe in a covert situation.

👤The product was garbage, I put it on the car, and after one drive it fell of the car, and the battery died even though it was supposed to be at 60% life. $50 was wasted on the product and another $25 was spent on it. It was the worst waste of $75. Don't buy!

6. Garmin Compliant Electronic No Subscription Diagnostic

The free eLog app is required to complete your compliance solution.

Brand: Garmin

👤For the most part, it will do the job. Each week there are more issues. I have it installed in the area. It's easy to use and understand, but when I tried to transfer data, it failed and I couldn't email the reports. As soon as you turn the engine on, you can drive. If it records driving, you can't change it, even if it's an error. I was looking at the inspection reports at the end of the day and it added more mileage. I knew I drove 400 miles that day, but I didn't record it. Explain that to DOT. The next day it corrected itself. Sometimes it would add extra miles to your report and the next day it would show correct. I drove 65000 miles in a day, but it was shown on the odometer report as 999999. Those weren't correct. It's ridiculous. It lags a lot at the end of the day. It will take about a minute to change duty status. You'll have to plug it back in if it loses signal while sitting in traffic. It will record a malfunction if you do that. I have it connected to a new device, but I don't think it's a tablet. The scariest thing is that it messes with the trucks obd unit. Sometimes it turns on the hazard flasher lights on its own. Sometimes it takes about a minute for the headlights to turn off when I manually turn my lights off. I have not had any issues with this unit. I didn't think it was a good idea, I thought it would be better with a name like Garmin. It's not close to a reliable product. If they don't update it, I'll have to change it. It's new technology that just rushed to the market, and forces us to buy their crappy products, so change it with what, they all must have issues.

👤The connection always disconnected. He said this has been sitting at the fulfillment center for over three years after he gave them the s/n. Even though it isn't compliant with FMCSA regulations, Amazon decided to sell it. Thanks Jeff!

👤If you don't calculate the hidden cost, this ELD is relatively cheap. This ELD requires a dedicated phone or tablet, which is not a problem with all the ELDs out there. For small fleets, it doesn't work unless you buy a tablet with a constant data connection or one that can work on a hotspot. If you use the same phone for both tablets, you can only use multiple drivers on this ELD. You can't use multiple phones that have their own app. If you log out the next driver, the ELD and app will have to be reset because each app creates its own account. Don't buy the dezl garmin gps tablets because they connect to the ELD via your cellphone or data tablets. I realized it was cheaper and more reliable to use keep trucking ELD after buying a few of these things. I hope this helps.

Important footage is kept protected when the current video is locked because of the G-sensor detecting a collision. Class 10 or higher micro SD cards can be supported.

Brand: Rexing

👤I noted the camera is huge when I unboxed it. Next to my truck key is a picture. Being big is not a big deal since you get a bigger screen. It will not be as easy to hide behind the mirror. I paid the price for ignoring other reviewers. The camera turns on and off every 60 seconds. What happens if they hit you right in the middle of restarting? You'll never get it on video because it's the only way to get it. I tried it in my tow vehicles and both had issues with the camera plugging into the 12V plug. I will not take the chance that the makers will fix the bugs. This isn't the camera I need, it's not reliable. This is going somewhere else. Don't take my word for it, read the other reviews. We all have the same issue.

👤I haven't fully tested the Rexing V1P Pro but I have done the installation. Good. The package has 2 sets of mounting brackets. Bad. The mini-usb cable is too short for my install in a 3-row SUV. The cable was routed from the rear view mirror to the passenger side. A-pillar, then down to the floor and hide the cable under the front door step trim. You can imagine the route I was taking. The cable ended 6 inches shy of my door. There is at least 4-5 ft of cable that needs to be routed to the top of the rear window. I only installed the front and rear dash cameras. There is no 25ft mini-USB cable on Amazon. If I can't find a solution, I may return the whole set. There are two The app is interesting. I own a lot of dash cam. I have never used an app with it. Good. The installation of the app is easy. The app and dash cam can be connected. The app is easy to use. Bad. 1/2 bake is the setting function. There are two tabs with multiple pages. The REXING programmer only did half of the work. There is only one tab of setting on the app. The dash cam has a setting tab. I hope REXING gets this fix.

👤I had a Rexing V1lg that took hours to wire around my car, but I was moderately happy with it. I wanted to upgrade to the V1P Pro. I contacted customer support to see if I could use the same wiring and power supply. I was told yes. I took 1/2 hour with a hair dryer to get rid of the old units, but then discovered the plugs and wires were incompatible. I contacted Rexing twice, in perfect English, and they couldn't or wouldn't understand what I was talking about. They asked me to take a picture of the cigarette lighter accessory, and then they would mail me a new one. How can a company be so bad? I am returning this unit because I don't want them to profit from the poor service I have come to expect from them. There is no live chat or phone number to call.

8. R2 4K Dashboard Camera Recorder Vision

R2 4K Dashboard Camera Recorder Vision

The Rove R2-4k dash camera can record videos up to a resolution of 2160p. The quality of the video recording is so good that it will not be as clear as other dash cam. 👤This is my third camera. The only one that's good is that one. I base it on the ones I have. The first one was good, but the second one was not very good. The night vision on this one is good, but it is blurry, so you can't tell if someone hit you, or if you witnessed an accident. The clarity of the pictures is shown in the photos I put up. The pictures are clear but grabbed from moving pictures. The things I like about it. How fast you are going, what direction you are going, and your coordinates are all recorded by the gps device. If a cop pulls you over and says you're doing 65 in a 55 zone, you have video proof of how fast you were. 2. You can use your video camera to take pictures of places and things, even if you don't have a video camera. It's a great cam and might have to carry a battery pack for power. 3. I can use my phone to see what it sees. It's not going to be long but you can connect and watch what's going on if you're close enough. 4. The mount for the cup is the best I've seen. Other mounting options are also available. I chose this and it's great. 5. I can make a video of 1, 3, 5, and 10 minutes. You can do 4gb per video, but at the highest setting, you're not going to get much, and once the card is full, it won't overwrite old files. The other settings will work. 6. You can watch the video on a variety of devices. 7. You can see your videos, but it will show you on a map where you are during the video. Quality is why I ordered this one, if you do have an accident or witness one like I did, it's because of that. You are covered. You can see for yourself in the pictures I posted, but it could be a bit more for my liking. I don't like the size of the screen but I knew it was posted in the description so I can't complain. The camera is still great, even though a larger screen would be nice.

👤The camera is clear and easy to use once you know what the buttons do. I sat down and read the book that came with it in a different way so that I could understand it better. I haven't set it to 4K yet because the video is at default settings. I recommend the 128 class sd card for it as it records without freezing. If I have any problems, I will post an update. So far, so good. I will update when I use the app, but I can't say yet because I haven't used it. I haven't used the player yet, but I downloaded it for Mac and it's compatible with both PCs and Macs. I will update again once I use these features. I finally used the app and it worked well for me. I was able to see my videos when I connected to it. I don't know how to use the player. I thought the sd card would read from the video player and show me the data, but it wasn't the case. Please let me know if anyone can figure it out. I bought a kit so that I could plug the camera into the fuse box for a direct power source, because I integrated the camera into my video. It was easy to do and now it turns off when the vehicle is turned off. If you have parking mode on, it will turn back on if you shake your vehicle, but it shuts off after recording an impact. When I turned my vehicle back on, it said "parking mode was activated" so I knew I needed to check it out right away. The video is fantastic. I will update again when I learn to work with the player. There is an update on 12-18-2019. I have figured out everything so far. My son wanted a one like it, so I bought another one. He loved how easy it was and how much he was kept up to date on the cam. When we ordered it, they contacted us. They said they would be happy to speak to us over the phone with a live agent if we needed anything. An agent is live! They were nice. I have not had a problem with this cam. I recommend it to others. I'm going to buy another one for my husband because they're having a sale on it. Can you tell me a Christmas gift? There is a 25% off code on the website. I think it is ROVEVIP25 to get 25% off. This is a great car. I couldn't have asked for more. I am a loyal customer.

9. AZDOME M550 Dashboard Recorder Capacitor

👤I wrote a bad review about this product because the first one I received didn't work correctly and I didn't feel they understood the issue. I sent it back. I was surprised that the customer service dept was interested in helping me out and making sure I was happy with the product. He went the extra mile for me and tried to resolve everything. I haven't seen such good customer service in a long time. I have a good camera that works well. The customer service from Sunny was excellent. Even if you don't have a problem, they will take care of you.

👤The cameras work well. I invested in a dash cam that had amazing video quality. The seller recommends a 3-lead miniusb hardwire kit for the dash cam because I wanted 24 hour parking mode. The best reason why you need this hardwire kit is because Dash Camera requires the device to be hardwired to a car's fuse box. The miniusb hardwire kit is a power management device that provides power to your dash cam from your car's battery via a fuse box to keep it running even after your engine is turned off to use the 24HR parking monitor feature. It will monitor the car battery's voltage in real-time. The power supply will be cut and the car's engine will not be started if the voltage is higher than 11.8V. Installation was easy because of the tape around the edges of the car. There is enough wire to cover the length of my SUV car. The angle of the front camera and cabin camera should be checked before installation.

👤The second camera has the same problem as the first. I wanted to give the camera a chance for the second time. The camera shape is pretty. The image quality is very good. The dashboard camera application is not good. The car that hit my car ran away. I downloaded and installed his app to look at his plate. The problem is large. You can't get an image on your mobile phone because many things don't work in the application. It is disturbing that there is a moment of light while driving in the night since the image on the camera is turned on from time to time. There are better brands and models on the market for less than the camera. I would like to speak to the manufacturer. Do not give the 3rd camera. You can find a better software company, update your software and have a user-oriented design. Garbage software!

👤I am very happy with this car. There are cameras. One is looking out of the window, the other is inside the vehicle. It has a 3 inch screen which allows you to see in real time. You can see the live feed on your phone with the app. You can use a 128 gigabyte card, but it comes with a 32 gigabyte card. Even at night, the footage is clear. You can record everything while you shop for groceries if you set the motion sensor on while the car is parked. The timelapse recording is cool. It's perfect for long trips. The sleek design and all the features I wanted in a dash cam is the best part of this.

Brand: Vantrue

👤After getting into an accident on I95 and being chased across 5 lanes by another driver in the HOV lane, I invested in a $300 dash cam in my car. She threw objects at my car. I was trying to get off the ramp when we collided. After taking pictures of my car and trying to claim that I hit her the next day, she began looking to see if I had a dash cam. She doesn't have insurance, and was driving someone else's car. The owner of the vehicle is responsible for the vehicle. After my car was repaired, my windows were tinted and I invested in a dash cam with amazing video quality. I wanted 24 hour parking mode because I live in an apartment complex. When people don't have insurance, they tend to try to take you for everything you have, even if you have good coverage. I feel better with my dash cam that records all three cabins at once, even though I am still in the middle of it with the insurance company. I was able to hardwire my dash cam to an external battery with the help of some videos and my owner's manual, but I don't use it anymore. I am not tech savvy. I am a female nurse who lives alone with her two dogs. I like makeup, sleep and food. I hid the wires in the pillars and weather stripping of my car so that they wouldn't be seen. I connected the back camera to the front, so there is no wires poking out. I will post pics later. I have a Toyota vehicle. The only real issue I ran into was trying to figure out the problem with my car. The battery wouldn't charge from the car. My brother and I found out that I was missing a light in my car. We used the kit from Cell Link instead of using the external hard wire kit from Vantrue. I hid the battery under the drivers seat and the wires in the trimming. The two cameras are the only thing that sticks out. My car is awesome.

👤I turned on the camera after spending an hour installing it. The front camera wire connection started smoking. I pulled the camera cord out and noticed the connecting spots were melting. I'm willing to give the product another chance, but I'm returning the product for now. Amazon is sending a replacement. This gets a single star. DANGEROUS. I will update this review after testing the replacement. The seller gave back $30 and replaced it with a new one. The replacement works well after it is installed.

👤I lost track of many cameras. My previous Junsun was great but it died when the car turned off. I decided to get a new dash camera that saved files. I also got a Vantrue switch, that's even better. I'm very happy with my dash cam. It has cameras. The first camera records to the front, the second to the rear and the third to the inside of the vehicle. The inside camera is great for ride-sharing drivers. The internal camera has night vision, which will make recording passengers much easier. It's great for recording the sides of a car. The video quality is excellent. I do not mean "okay". I don't mean that in a good way. It's great. The best quality vs space usage is determined by the quality settings you choose. I got a card with a large amount of storage because I want to be able to check the content after a night of being parked, and I plan on having it record in parking mode. I would get a smaller capacity card if I only used it while driving. I use the highest resolution to get the best quality video. The rear camera is of the highest quality. I can make out license plates with the rear camera. The cabin camera is very good. The front camera is very good. Really great. The long term benefit of using a super Capacitor instead of a lipo battery is that it will last longer in extreme heat of the sun or extreme cold. I got the camera because I wanted to record the car's surrounding and catch someone if the car was hit from the side. The front and rear cameras can't do that. This one can show the sides of the car with a wide angle. The manual inside the box is easy to follow, but I didn't read it very much since everything is pretty straightforward. The instructions and pictures are easy to follow. The camera had a 12V charging port, camera, rear camera and cable, and window mount. There are three large buttons on the top of the camera. The side has a microSD card slot, an input for the rear camera, a reset button, and HD out. The inside-facing camera can be changed to get better views of the cabin. The mount rotates to get a better view of the outside. The camera has a long cable. I was able to go from the rear of my car to the front. The mount has a turning feature that makes applying the cup to the window very easy. It was easy to set up and get going. The menu system is easy to use. I have a vantrue that splits to power the camera 24/7. I set up a camera. When the car is bumped, the camera will record it for me to review later.

Brand: Tracki

👤I bought the Tracki because I suspected my husband was doing something, it was a great device and works great, I highly recommend it.

👤I bought these to track the movement of my vehicle and belongings when I am moving across the country. The instructions state to charge the battery for 12 hours until the blinking light stops. The light stopped blinking after I charged the battery. The device was placed perfectly in my home, I was delighted to see how accurate it was. I set the device to send a signal for 4 hours and it should have given me 30 days of tracking. I took the device to the vehicle carrier depot after putting it in my car. I wasn't concerned because it hadn't yet been 4 hours, and the app still showed it back in my house. I knew something was wrong when it was still showing at my house. I called Tracki the next morning and asked what was wrong. The person who answered the phone was pleasant, and I was told that the device was set to internet, not gps, which is why it showed in my home. I was told that they could reset it remotely, but I might have to power down the device and restart it. I had a problem with my device being somewhere else. I didn't know where I was because Tracki wasn't following. There are two more The battery is now 31%, not 24 days after I activated the device. It wouldn't last more than 2 days. If my car makes it to its destination, I will be able to see that device again. It is anyone's guess if and when it will happen. Thank you for that. The other two devices that I planned to place along with my belongings will be taken by the moving company. The battery life is stated on Amazon in a way that is not true. The instructions are incomplete and make the device useless. Buy at your own risk. The person who answered my call at Tracki told me that their supervisor would call me back later when they arrived at the office. I'm still waiting. Tracki, thanks again.

👤I want to like this and I will start out with a positive. It's easy to hide. I was going to give this three stars but the negatives added up and the app was updated making things worse. You can view history on the phone app or on the web interface. Each interface has its own abilities, but not the other. The maps looked the same until the phone app was updated. The mess of lines when tracking history became even worse as the function of telling you the direction of travel on the phone app was lost. You can export a log file, but it has no support for viewing on earth, and you are stuck with random dot points. Pulling up history can limit you to a few days of tracking. It's difficult to remember when a particular event happened or when a person was driving unless you want to download the file and alter it using third party software. It takes more power to track a moving object. I stretched it out to 2.5 days once or twice but I had to charge it daily. I was going to hard wire it into the vehicle, but they updated the app. It's difficult to remove and install it so often that the tracker can be charged. Hard wiring defeats the purpose of having a small device. I tried turning the device off for 15 minutes then on for 5 to take a reading, but it didn't help. There are no instructions for doing that, but you can make changes on the web interface. The app gave you more options if it was in the past 24 hours. You only could view full days at a time if you checked history after a day had passed. This tracker should be updated once a minute. This is the most slow setting for other trackers, some update every 3 to 5 seconds. The track will not follow roads often. I used other trackers that lasted 2 full weeks, which is more than the unit gave me. It was possible to see a lot of stops at one minute intervals. Reducing the intervals in order to save battery life made it impossible to see people pull over to pick up someone. It's difficult to determine what roads were used. It doesn't track data like others do. I had better luck with free apps on an old cell phone. I dropped my phone in the car. Silly me. The "magnetic mount" is not a mount at all. The app lost function after being updated. It was changed to a very plain looking map that makes it hard to figure out the location. You can change the view to something else that is more visible, but it will always be the same view I dislike. I was going to give this a three star review but ended up giving it one star for all the things I mentioned. How did we get to this point? At this point, I am giving it five stars. A person reached out to me. He appreciated my negative input and was very professional. I was under the impression that they try to make the product better. I waited to update the review, maybe a little too long. I wanted to see the improvements first. Customer service and attention to detail really impressed me. What about the improvements that I'm talking about? The web interface received an update. The battery saving function can be set up on all formats. History can now be looked at in a different way. The arrows are back indicating the direction of travel, and the map now retains your preferred method of viewing it. I added another photo to show you the difference between the old map and the new one. The app is less cluttered and gives you more information. I don't have to switch from the app to the pc to get all the features. I believe they will try to add more features. The unit is selling below competitors. It was accurate. The monthly fee is lower than most competitors. It is still a disappointment to me that the battery life is not better. It usually falls between what they say. It surprises me with a third day for me, usually two days. I can't take a star off for this because it's in a normal variation and as advertised. The thing with this device is that you can pick what you want. A small device that is very lightweight for a kid to carry in a backpack. The choice is yours. I haven't used the extended battery pack yet, but it's charging now. The small tracker is not any larger than the competitors in other waterproof cases. I will probably update after I know how the case works. The company has turned my opinion around with great customer service. I just canceled my service. I wanted to say that the company changed a lot in the time I used them. This product has given me a lot of thought, even though I originally hated it. My kid has a job now that he is 18. I don't think I should keep a record of his every move as he is an adult. I had no problem going weeks before it needed a refill. I would get a low batt warning when the battery level dropped. After the first warning, the battery would last about 5 days. The standard battery is not good. The service was accurate. They added a lot of things, such as running mileage and other reports. Sometimes it gives you readings of KPH instead of MPH, even though everything is set up correctly. I'm now a happy customer. Customer service was always responsive to my concerns. I will install this unit to track my motorcycle in the spring, but at this point it's not necessary.
