👤I was expecting a vehicle tracking device to surpass my expectations. The device came with clear instructions on how to use it. The installation was easy and I was able to access my account. Both the app and website had a clear layout. I was able to track my vehicle's location and have the option to review my driving history. There are other functions on both that would allow for easy record keeping. The device was easy to install. It will go unrecognized once placed. I knew it was there, so my vehicle made it a little more noticeable. I would recommend this device to companies that monitor their vehicles. This allows for protection against theft, but also allows protection for employees by showing their location in case of an emergency. This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for additional security or tracking measures because of the low cost and high-grade customer support. Parents with new drivers would benefit from this. You get the security of knowing where the family vehicle is, but you can also see where the young driver is in the event of an emergency. I was very satisfied with this product. It's worth the purchase to have peace of mind when I'm away.
👤This is a car gps tracker with real-time tracking. I was excited about this product because there was no monthly fee for a lifetime, but when I plugged it in, it placed me in Malaysia, but I waited some time to let the gps get accurate data. You have to pay another monthly subscription if you want your tracking divide to work. Not good... Important information is contained in the below text, which was pre-typed. I don't intend to make any channels here. I feel like you should know from someone that has previously purchased the item you are interested in purchasing, because I have been so disappointed with many purchases I have made. I hate to say this but, I have observed the invasion of "fake" but the beautifully crafted and eye-catching product listing descriptions on Amazon stating that the product is "Hight Quality" when it is mostly garbage and at least in my case, most of the times I just throw If you really need to function based on your needs, don't trust what the listings say, or buy something from another store, or even a local outlet store. Good luck!
👤It's easy to install. They are misleading about the fact that you have to pay monthly for service.
👤The company is the worst ever. I will never deal with Brickhouse Security again if I can help it. The hassle of changing password, the hassle of getting in touch with the company, and the hassle of being told my password is invalid were just a few of the hassles. I canceled my account when I got a hold of them. There was only one big headaches. Don't. If you want instant access, buy from them.
👤This is a great gps. You get what you pay for with the monthly subscription. The program on the laptop is very good. I was able to see how fast my daughters were. There are some good features that I haven't explored yet. Prepaying for a years service will give you a discount. I was not sure if I would like the app. I love the software that it gives. I bought the gps that plugs into the port under the steering column. It was easy to install. I bought an extension cable for $10 on Amazon. I could remove the gps from the dashboard and still have access to the engine diagnostic port. When the app on the Apple I-phone takes too long to start, I just uninstall it and connect right away. The software on the laptop works well. You can easily move the gps to another car by plugging it in. I would recommend this service to others. I am happy with the plan I purchased.

👤I bought the Tracki because I suspected my husband was doing something, it was a great device and works great, I highly recommend it.
👤I bought these to track the movement of my vehicle and belongings when I am moving across the country. The instructions state to charge the battery for 12 hours until the blinking light stops. The light stopped blinking after I charged the battery. The device was placed perfectly in my home, I was delighted to see how accurate it was. I set the device to send a signal for 4 hours and it should have given me 30 days of tracking. I took the device to the vehicle carrier depot after putting it in my car. I wasn't concerned because it hadn't yet been 4 hours, and the app still showed it back in my house. I knew something was wrong when it was still showing at my house. I called Tracki the next morning and asked what was wrong. The person who answered the phone was pleasant, and I was told that the device was set to internet, not gps, which is why it showed in my home. I was told that they could reset it remotely, but I might have to power down the device and restart it. I had a problem with my device being somewhere else. I didn't know where I was because Tracki wasn't following. There are two more The battery is now 31%, not 24 days after I activated the device. It wouldn't last more than 2 days. If my car makes it to its destination, I will be able to see that device again. It is anyone's guess if and when it will happen. Thank you for that. The other two devices that I planned to place along with my belongings will be taken by the moving company. The battery life is stated on Amazon in a way that is not true. The instructions are incomplete and make the device useless. Buy at your own risk. The person who answered my call at Tracki told me that their supervisor would call me back later when they arrived at the office. I'm still waiting. Tracki, thanks again.
👤I want to like this and I will start out with a positive. It's easy to hide. I was going to give this three stars but the negatives added up and the app was updated making things worse. You can view history on the phone app or on the web interface. Each interface has its own abilities, but not the other. The maps looked the same until the phone app was updated. The mess of lines when tracking history became even worse as the function of telling you the direction of travel on the phone app was lost. You can export a log file, but it has no support for viewing on earth, and you are stuck with random dot points. Pulling up history can limit you to a few days of tracking. It's difficult to remember when a particular event happened or when a person was driving unless you want to download the file and alter it using third party software. It takes more power to track a moving object. I stretched it out to 2.5 days once or twice but I had to charge it daily. I was going to hard wire it into the vehicle, but they updated the app. It's difficult to remove and install it so often that the tracker can be charged. Hard wiring defeats the purpose of having a small device. I tried turning the device off for 15 minutes then on for 5 to take a reading, but it didn't help. There are no instructions for doing that, but you can make changes on the web interface. The app gave you more options if it was in the past 24 hours. You only could view full days at a time if you checked history after a day had passed. This tracker should be updated once a minute. This is the most slow setting for other trackers, some update every 3 to 5 seconds. The track will not follow roads often. I used other trackers that lasted 2 full weeks, which is more than the unit gave me. It was possible to see a lot of stops at one minute intervals. Reducing the intervals in order to save battery life made it impossible to see people pull over to pick up someone. It's difficult to determine what roads were used. It doesn't track data like others do. I had better luck with free apps on an old cell phone. I dropped my phone in the car. Silly me. The "magnetic mount" is not a mount at all. The app lost function after being updated. It was changed to a very plain looking map that makes it hard to figure out the location. You can change the view to something else that is more visible, but it will always be the same view I dislike. I was going to give this a three star review but ended up giving it one star for all the things I mentioned. How did we get to this point? At this point, I am giving it five stars. A person reached out to me. He appreciated my negative input and was very professional. I was under the impression that they try to make the product better. I waited to update the review, maybe a little too long. I wanted to see the improvements first. Customer service and attention to detail really impressed me. What about the improvements that I'm talking about? The web interface received an update. The battery saving function can be set up on all formats. History can now be looked at in a different way. The arrows are back indicating the direction of travel, and the map now retains your preferred method of viewing it. I added another photo to show you the difference between the old map and the new one. The app is less cluttered and gives you more information. I don't have to switch from the app to the pc to get all the features. I believe they will try to add more features. The unit is selling below competitors. It was accurate. The monthly fee is lower than most competitors. It is still a disappointment to me that the battery life is not better. It usually falls between what they say. It surprises me with a third day for me, usually two days. I can't take a star off for this because it's in a normal variation and as advertised. The thing with this device is that you can pick what you want. A small device that is very lightweight for a kid to carry in a backpack. The choice is yours. I haven't used the extended battery pack yet, but it's charging now. The small tracker is not any larger than the competitors in other waterproof cases. I will probably update after I know how the case works. The company has turned my opinion around with great customer service. I just canceled my service. I wanted to say that the company changed a lot in the time I used them. This product has given me a lot of thought, even though I originally hated it. My kid has a job now that he is 18. I don't think I should keep a record of his every move as he is an adult. I had no problem going weeks before it needed a refill. I would get a low batt warning when the battery level dropped. After the first warning, the battery would last about 5 days. The standard battery is not good. The service was accurate. They added a lot of things, such as running mileage and other reports. Sometimes it gives you readings of KPH instead of MPH, even though everything is set up correctly. I'm now a happy customer. Customer service was always responsive to my concerns. I will install this unit to track my motorcycle in the spring, but at this point it's not necessary.
Their gps vehicle tracker works in the US, Canada and Mexico, so you know where your assets are in each country. The monthly cost is $19.50 for a cellular network that transports your data without fees. Reliable gps tracking with no surprise loss in power by running off your vehicle's power is not required. There is no hidden fee for the device. There are no activation fees. There are no cancellation fees. There are no upgrade fees. Family focus. The only gps tracker on the market that is developed with input from driving instructors and law enforcement to focus on teen safety to encourage open and honest conversation at home.
👤I wanted to put these in my father's cars. You have to register the devices and enter your card information before you can try to install them. I tried calling customer support and got a message, but I couldn't get them to connect with the app. I gave up and returned them after an hour of messing with it. When I contacted MOTOsafety for a refund on the $20 they had already charged my card for the monthly payment, I was told the company doesn't issue refunds. They were out of the box for less than two hours and didn't work, but I have to pay for the whole month. They force you to give your card information before you know if the product will work, and then refuse to refunds if it doesn't work. Don't buy if you're warned.
👤They call your house, leave a message on the machine, and then you have to have an awkward conversation with a man. Thanks! The software is easy to use and works great, not the point of what I was doing.
👤My old car won't start when I install it, which is the car I intend to pass on to my new driver. I put it in my other car. It worked well for a couple of days, but it killed my alternator. I put a new battery in it and I was so angry. I had to replace the alternator which cost $400. I will not recommend this tracker to anyone. It's a waste of time and money.
👤This is an excellent tracking device and it was easy for this grandmother to install. My son in law went over the blinking lights several times with a permanent marker to make them invisible to the average person. I was able to track the location of my car as it was being driven by a family member who was out on bail. It took less than a week for this person to be caught. I was able to find out where every stop occurred by looking at the addresses it provided. The home drug testing kit was positive for meth. I had to do this because I knew I had to have some evidence when I confronted this person because I kept falling for the lies being told to me. I had an issue when I tried to cancel the service. When it finally transferred me to an associate, calls went unanswered or I was put on hold. Two emails were acknowledged and then nothing. The online associate told me to call the customer service number. All issues were resolved after a call from customer service.
👤My mother-in-law drives. It was very bad! She doesn't use a smart phone, so I needed a way to monitor her driving. I chose the MotoSafety tracker after a lot of research. Although the device is primarily used for fleet usage and teenage driver applications, it seemed like the device could be used to monitor elderly drivers and provide theft monitoring as well. I have been using the device for a while. Installation is easy. Plug the device into the port under the dash on the driver's side. When the key is turned on, the unit starts searching for a gps signal. There are apps for both Apple and Android devices, as well as a direct link website for other types of browser use. The sign up can be done with an email address. The setup is best done through the website. The tracker will show the current or last position once the account is set up. It will record the track of the car. The track shows the route taken, but also gives stop points, how long the vehicle remained at a location, and the address of the location. Other useful features include time period usage and maintenance reporting. Since the tracker is a teen driving monitor, one can use the technology to show on a map where the car can be driven. The time period can be set to make sure the curfew is met. The heavy braking/acceleration can be used to alert for a sudden stop that might indicate an accident. The tracker does not use air bag deployment, but uses sophisticated algorithms to record acceleration/deceleration rates. The maintenance report shows the current battery voltage and fuel quantity. Engine trouble codes would be recorded, but I have not observed this feature. Knowing when the car was being operated and where it was being used was my primary concern. The alert features helped to give this information, but needed a work around. If the teenager was out after a certain time, an alert would be sent to the parents' phone, email, or both. An elderly driver monitoring alert would require the opposite information. I read that a daughter had set an authorized time period for her dad that she was certain he wouldn't be driving at 1am. Any usage outside of that time period would prompt an alert that the car was being operated. The alert shows as an Unauthorized Use alert when it is set up this way. They need to know how the alert works if they are designated to receive it. An alert showing usage outside of a designated area would be very useful for a driver who becomes confused while driving. There are a couple of useful alerts. The default time is 5 minutes. An alert is sent if the car is idling for longer. This feature is helpful for an elderly driver in case of fatigue. When the device is removed from the port, there is a Tamper alert. If the device is not securely positioned in the port, this alert can be triggered. I have not had this problem. The purchase price was through Amazon. A monthly fee is charged by MotoSafety. I am very pleased with the design, function, and user experience of the device, app, website, and customer support of Agilis. I recommend the device to anyone with a teen or elderly driver.

👤It's pretty accurate so far. I tried it on my car and found a device that wasn't suppose to be there. It is definitely worth the money.
👤I plan to use it to check for snooping in hotels. It can be used to find out what's interfering with my internet. The sensor helps to find phone and internet sources. It could help you find a lost phone or ear bud by catching the periodic "hello here I am" signals. The magnetic detector is not useful for me.
👤I bought this device for a variety of reasons. I have a family to protect and this detector will do that for me. I wanted something that would be reliable to search for and find things like a tracking device that was found on my daughter's car. The model seemed to be the most reliable. I tested this item at a workplace where I know there are hidden cameras. I have a few nanny cams and this device alerted me to their exact location when I tried it at home. If you are in the office or at a meeting, this device can be used to do a clean sweep. This would be ideal on vacations at hotels. If you sweep the room with the detector wand, you will find anything that has a magnetic field or RF energy. This item can also detect radiation. If you want to remain undetected during your search for any type of spy devices, you can use a silent mode or an audible notification. Listening devices will also be picked up. In today's world, it's so easy to spy and get away with it.
👤When we use our time share or rent a private bed and breakfast, we are concerned that it does not have the same level of security as a traditional hotel. One of the concerns is that a staff, owner or previous guest could install a camera in place that we wouldn't expect and use that footage for purposes we don't want to imagine. I want to keep my kids' privacy a secret. It took me some time to learn how to use the wand. I would suggest testing it against known devices before trying to find hidden ones. It is pretty simple once you get used to it. We were able to test out RF blocking wallets to see if they were protecting our credit cards. It is easier to pack than my hand brush. It can function while it is plugged in. The power supply is for US outlets, so you need an adapter if you are going over seas.
👤I have tested it out in my house and it picks up all the signals, it also picks up radio signals and walkie-talkie signals, it will detect it if it is putting out a signal. I always say that you get what you pay for and this is absolutely worth the price, if you are paranoid like I am, then this is what you need. I absolutely recommend this detector to anyone who is in the market, it gives me peace of mind when I am traveling and staying at hotels orAirbnbs. Two big thumbs up from me!
The Nulaxy KM18 transmitter has a 1.44 inch screen for better display of information like phone calls, music, car batteries, etc. The screen size is ideal for safe driving. The flexible goose neck has a radio. V5. You can get an optimal viewing angle and viewing comfort with the help of the rotatable goose neck. The car bluetooth adapter can provide a more stable and faster connecting with no intermittent disconnection. Nulaxy noise-cancellation technology makes the sound clear for hands free calls. High quality music streaming gives a clear sound for listening and calls. Answer/reject/hand up/recall is all you need for hands-free calls. Enjoy complete voice-control with this transmitter. Most devices on the market are compatible with the fm transmitter, including iPad, iPhone, iPod, and other devices. You can play your favorite songs on your car stereo. It fits cars and trucks.
👤You won't regret the cost. One of two things will happen when you buy this. You will be pleased when you receive a product similar to mine. Nulaxy will send you a new product after you receive a faulty one. The transmitter fits perfectly in the cigarette lighters I have tried it in, and with the neck flexibility it is fully customization. The screen in my car is easy to navigate and I can face it up towards myself. It wasn't perfect at first, but the sound quality is amazing when using a aux cord. I gave it a little time to warm up. The sound quality is not as good for talking over the phone, but I think it's my phone's fault. Once you connect your phone to the internet, it will be connected to the internet very quickly, and you can even use it in the car. There is no on/off button in some reviews. This seems stupid to me. If you turn the car on, the transmitter will turn on, but if you turn it off, there is no power to the transmitter. This is where the research ended for me, and it should for you as well. The company behind this device is wonderful.
👤I had seen these type of devices before but never thought about how much more convenient it would be to just enter my car and use it. If you want to get the best audio quality, you need to find a blank FM channel in your area. I wanted to see if higher frequencies did better. You need a really blank Frequency to find anything conclusive. If you don't plan ahead, you will have to change stations when you travel in a big city. I bought this and it works great.
👤I want to be the guy who compares the two products you're most likely looking at, the Nulaxy unit and the VicTsing T10, with a lot of reviews on this product already. I can tell you that they are the same unit, even though they have different packaging and instructions. They both have a voice that is loud and annoying. If the announcement goes into Chinese, there's a way to get it back to English in the manual. I bought the VicTsing a couple months ago and am in a position to compare it. If you want to read more about that unit, you can find it here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DDPUQTS. I was going to buy a second one for another car because I loved the VicTsing so much. I bought the SoundBot unit, which is a totally different unit. The SoundBot has to be sent back for one reason: every time it turns on, you have to reset the frequencies. I decided to buy a second VicTsing, but wanted to see if there was a difference between the two. While waiting for the Nulaxy, I wrote to VicTsing and asked them if their unit and the Nulaxy were from the same manufacturer, and they replied that we are different store from different manufacture. The mat is the same. The may behaves differently. Please be reassured that VicTsing provides a one year warranty. Our customers won't suffer a loss from our store. Our top priority is your satisfaction. Feel free to contact us if you have any more questions. I can tell you that there is absolutely no difference between the Nulaxy unit and the VicTsing unit after I plugged them into my Miata multiple times. The same annoying announcement, same blue lighted buttons, same battery check, and the same performance are the same things. The Nulaxy is black with silver trim, but that's because they had more color choices. The price was the same. The Nulaxy is in English only and the VicTsing has different languages and different instructions. I must love the Nulaxy the same as I did the VicTsing. Yes. The reason for four stars? The only thing that these units do is allow you to use the phone. You can accept, reject, and hang up the phone call. You can't initiate a phone call or summon a device, for example, you can't tell her to switch a song or send a text. The unit I have had for years can do all those things, but it connected via the Aux In on that car, so maybe that is the difference. This review will help you narrow down your choices by one, since there are a lot of transmitters out there, but you have to make your own path.
The camera comes with an extendable 18-month warranty, costumer support through email within 24 hours, and a 100% satisfaction guarantee. The product will get new features and continuous improvements. It doesn't support either of those technologies. 👤I bought a mini recorder to protect myself from abuse. I wanted the recorder to be voice activated so I could find the relevant bits more quickly. It was important that it be discreet. I bought it less than a month ago, and it saved my life last night. A neighbor put a knife up to my throat and threatened to kill me. The recorder was inside my house, but it was not able to record audio from my porch. When she was 10 feet away, but out of line-of- sight, she used gaslighting to destroy my story. She said that they didn't do that. She didn't tell the operator what happened to me, she said "a guy and girl are fighting you need to send the cops here now!" Her behavior was inappropriate during an emergency and I'm going to spare you the rest of the drama. There is evidence to prove what happened. The attacker was charged in this case. If you want to catch abusive people in the act, you have to be discreet because people act different after a camera is in their possession. 99% of the time it's "he said, she said," so it's hard to prove verbal and emotional abuse. If you are in a situation like mine, this is the device you are looking for. I had a problem getting it to connect to the PC at first, but I used theusb cable that's included, and it worked. I would like to see the ability to charge so it can be running 24/7. I clipped it onto my necklace and kept it tucked into my shirt as much as I could. I can't recommend this product enough.
👤I bought this as a backup because I have had body cam failures and interview room cam failures, so I can't tell you how many times. It's small and easy to use, but the battery life is much longer than it really is. I would test it with continuous recording and voice activated, but most noises in the room will cause it. The text file setting the timer doesn't work. The other functions work, but the timer doesn't.
👤I need a discreet way to document my neighbor's dog. She claims I am exaggerating the situation, her other neighbor is legitimately blind, so it's my word against hers to the board. I hope the proof will be forthcoming. Don't judge me for not wanting to be awakened before dawn by a demon because I am an animal lover and have 2 well trained dogs. The only complaint I have is that I am not able to set the time and date. Every time, it is the same date and time as in 2019. It's difficult to prove that it was 5:13 a.m. when the dog started barking. I am familiar with creating/saving text files. I think this could be an excellent product. It is easy to hide, I use a small piece of Velcro to attach it to the trunk of the silk tree on my patio. It's not visible to anyone who doesn't know it's there. The setting for voice activated sound works well. It came on a couple of times during the night. There was a bird and a dog singing in the morning. The recordings are clear and easy to identify, but the birds, dog, and other prevalent sounds are very clear and easy to identify. It's very easy to connect a laptop computer to a file. I wouldn't record my next album with this recorder, but that's not the purpose. I need to prove when the events happen so I will return the date if I can't get it to work correctly. It does a good job at what it is designed to do. I got the date/time function to work. The time.txt file would not work if I only edited it. If I deleted the existing file and created a new one, it works great. Follow the instructions and create a new file. I gave it a second star.
You can monitor the inside of your home day and night with a plug-in security camera with motion detection and two way audio. You can see what matters most if you get notifications on your phone whenever motion is detected. You can store events in the cloud with a 30-day free trial of the Blink Subscription Plan or locally with the Sync Module 2. You can see, hear, and speak to people and pets in your home on your phone with two-way audio features. Plug in the camera, connect it to the internet, and add it to your app in minutes. For more ease of use, pair the Blink Mini with a supported device to engage live view, arm and disarm your camera, and more using just your voice.
👤I bought this to be used as a baby monitor and thought if the quality was good I would buy an outdoor set as well. It was easy to set up after I got it. The picture quality is excellent. There is no option for continuous viewing for me. If you don't continue, the live view will stop after 30 seconds. Prompt. I would not have purchased a camera like the one I have now. It's not feasible to stop typing when I work at night because I watch my daughter on a Fire tablet. I assumed it would be the same as the one I wanted to replace because I didn't remember reading any information about the length of viewing time. I'm sending it back because I don't want to buy an update for continuous viewing.
👤I was excited to add the smaller cameras to my existing 5 camera system. I had a few XT/XT2 cameras in my house, and I thought these would be a great replacement. I could re-purpose them for more outdoor locations. I thought this was a great addition to the camera network, adding a lower cost camera for indoor applications like mine where the benefits of the battery power and weather-proofness would be more important. I ordered a two-pack to add to my system after they were released. The picture quality out of the box wasn't the best but once you change the video quality setting to "Enhanced" it's right up there with the XT2 quality. The motion detection is not flawless, as they use a new digital method of detecting motion, which compares one frame to the next to check for changes. Sometimes a shadow moving across the viewing area will show up, like a shadow moving across the viewing area, but then actually walking across it. I spoke with a rep who said that they are working on an update to improve the consistency of that feature, which will be available as an over-the-air update. The cloud storage feature on these cameras was the reason for my poor review. I looked into the cloud storage feature after I purchased the cameras and found that a subscription was required. I was not happy that this was different from the previous systems. A rep from Blink reached out to clarify the situation after I posted my review. If you already have an XT or XT2 system, you can add these cameras without having to pay a subscription. If you don't have a Blink system at all, you will get a free subscription until December 31st, 2020 if you get the first ones, then you will pay $3/month per camera after that. They plan to release a new sync module that will allow you to store video clips in your local area without having to pay for a subscription. I don't think they intend to have a lot of people on the subscription plan, I think they see the SD card as a selling point. They had to give back the first adopters of the Mini cameras onto the cloud storage until the new sync module was released. The new sync module may have been delayed due to factory closings around the world. I am happy that this is over, but I hope that they update the cloud storage and subscription info on the product pages to make it more clear how this works. I probably wouldn't have bought them if I'd looked at all of the available information. The rep that contacted me was the one that saved the situation. He answered all of my questions, gave me a lot of information about the product, and explained all of my concerns. The rep didn't ask me to change my review, take it down, or influence me to do that. The great job he did led to me changing this, as they took care of my concerns. Three stars were added back in for the great experience. Good product can get you a buyer, but good service can get you a customer for the rest of your life. A disappointed buyer has been turned into a satisfied customer by Blink. If you have an existing Blink system, buy these and use them where you don't need the wireless ones. If you want to get these as your first setup, you will have the option of paying for a subscription starting in 2021, or a one-time purchase of a sync module with a card slot to store your video clips.
There are two ports for a car charger and a 3.0 port for a quick charge. The fast charge port is compatible with many other devices. The efficiency of the charging station is more than 80%. Answer calls are hands-free and give you crystal clear call. Simply click a button to answer/redial/dismissing or end a call. You can enjoy hi-fi music by using a flash driver that has mp3 files in it. If that's not enough, it can also support your music with no distortion of the original signal from your mp3 or phone. It's possible to pair the car fm transmitter with all of the devices that have a built-in bluetooth feature. Multi-safety protection has built-in over-current protection, over-voltage protection, intelligent temperature control, and short circuit protection.
👤I used it once and it worked. After that, I tried a different phone, but it couldn't pair to anything, even after I unplugged it many times. Then it stopped showing up on other devices. Crap.
👤The product was very good. I bought it because I wanted a transmitter. It's a miracle that theusb 3.0 port is a godsend. It charges my phone quickly and efficiently. When I have others in the vehicle with me, the other port is used. It's nice to have two charging ports. The design is sleek and modern. The base of the product has a band of pads to help it be unplugged. This product allows you to answer your phone while it's still in your pocket. If you're looking for a product that's great, I recommend you invest in this product.
👤Fantastic product! I was thinking about buying a new stereo for my car once my old one was gone. The transmitter saved me hundreds of dollars. I am very pleased with how quickly it connects with my phone using the wireless technology. I haven't used the music port yet, but I have used the rapid charge before and it has saved me a few times. Great transmitter. I couldn't be happier with it!
👤Is it connected? Is connection good? Is it easy to use? Did it come with instructions? Was the phone call static the whole time? Did I return it? Yes. I think that's what it's all about. The static was an issue because it doesn't automatically switch frequencies, so on a long distance car drive it has to be set again and again. The sound has to be very high in the air in order to hear the other person. I had to look them up because it came without instructions. The microphone was not able to pick up the normal volume speech because of the location of the device. It couldn't hear the person talking because of the space.
👤This is the best of the best, even though I have used a few of them. The bose sound quality is superb, I connected it to my audi a6. I haven't been in a while. Start by searching for the best unused station on the internet. It's easy to connect to a mobile device. I hadn't read the manual, but I could simply hold down the talk button for 3 seconds and the letters would blink. When you are close to the car, it remembers and connects. The phone quality was tested and it works great, but the placement of the device is key, cause any obstructions will disrupt the call quality. I think this is a great device, the only thing I don't know is how long it will last, but by the build of the device, I fell in love with it. Great job guys.
👤I have a 2004 Honda Pilot, and I have had a great experience with it. The setup was easy to set up in the dark. The sound quality is better than what I have heard from new car systems, and after the first setup it automatically pairs with my phone when I start the car.
Drivers who want the highest level of protection against speeding tickets can choose Unsurpassed Range and Sensitivity. The R3 can remember and silence false alarms, such as retail store automatic doors, so you don't have to listen to them again. Red Light and Speed Camera locations with free database and updates ensures your detector will never be out of date. It is easy to read and display more useful information at the same time. This improves situational awareness. Voice warnings allow for hands-free operation. You can program voice alert to fit your driving style so you can keep your eyes on the road. The R3 has an advanced false alert filter that offers the least amount of false alert from Blind Spot monitoring and collision avoidance systems in other vehicles.
👤I was tagged by the California Highway Patrol at the border of Cali and Oregon on my recent trip to Oregon. I wondered why my escort didn't warn me. I said no when the officer asked if my detector went off. I asked if he used Ka, and he said that they only use it in Northern Cali. The officer let me off with a warning after I went 51 mph in a 45 zone. The Redline "service required" showed up a day later. I purchased the R3 because I needed a reliable detector after sending in my Redline. I heard good things about it and watched a lot of videos on how to set it up. I used it to go to Vegas for a boys weekend. It saved me from going up a hill. The distance the R3 picked up Ka signals was very impressive. It warned me 2 miles before I saw the officer. I received my Redline a week and a half later and decided to use the R3 to test it out. Don't get me wrong, I adore my Redline. It has saved my bacon more times than I can remember, but I was driving East on the 60 Highway near Rowland Heights when the R3 went off, and about 3-4 seconds later the newly flashed and serviced Redline went off indicating Ka band. On the way home, it did this twice. I was happy that the R3 did the job of my Redline. I tested it for a few more days. The Redline picked up the K bands about 1-2 seconds before the R3 but in Cali the Ka band is the one I'm worried about. My Redline is up for sale on Ebay. The adjustment of the R3 is setting me off. Q-ride, display adjustments, low battery indicator, auto shut off with low battery, ease of updating software, gps, auto mute memory, etc. Too much to list. After running the R3 it gets very hot, but it doesn't seem to affect performance. The smaller mount is less noticeable behind the rear view mirror than the larger one, which I dislike, but I ended up using the smaller mount because it was too big for my liking. It's nice to have a power cord that's also an extrausb in so you can still charge other devices. I mounted the unit under the rear view mirror on the car and was able to access it without the power cord being used. I used an old telephone cord, spade connections, heat shrink, and solder to make a mirror cord, which I didn't pay $19 for. The Red wire is power and the Green is ground in the connection. The unit has paid for itself so far. The price is great. As of today. The refurbished units of the R3 and R1 are available for 329.99 and 2399.99 respectively, which is a great price, but they are all sold out on Uniden's website.
👤This is the first non-Escort brand radar detector that I have owned, and I have had a Passport 9500ix for as long as I can remember. The build quality is the first thing. It's good, but it doesn't feel as sturdy as my 9500ix. The detector is a little bit cheaper than my old 9500ix. The power cord is not as well built. Time will tell how it holds up. I have original parts for my 9500ix that are 7 years old. The layout is very easy and intuitive and has a lot of the same operation concepts as the 9500ix. Double tap the button on the detector or power cord to auto-MUM and tag a false alert for future reference. This is the same as the 9500ix. Figuring out the menu and making changes is easy. There are a lot of features for this detector. If you are looking for something that you plug and go, this is not the detector, at least not with its default settings out of the box. If you want a plug and go type of detector, I would look at the Escort line of detectors. This detector is a better option if you want to learn how to modify it in the long run. The detector has insane sensitivity. KA performance is off the charts. I picked up a KA band radar over 5 miles away. I was on a bridge over water, straight line, but this detector is worse than my 9500ix. Not. Even. Close. The Uniden R3 has a better rear detection sensitivity. I have great confidence in sniffing out the KA band with this detector. The K band and X band are still better than the 9500ix. The R3 has weaknesses. The good and the bad. This unit falses constantly in its factory settings. It's not as bad as a V1, but it is. You will use the automute/GPS function to keep false alarms at bay until you have driven most of your routes. You should be prepared to teach it to auto-mute those false alarms. It picks up everything for the X band. I turned off the X band radar because there are no law enforcement agencies that use it for traffic control in my area. I ran the detector in advanced mode with the K band sensitivity reduced to 80%. I changed the setting to run it in K band narrow mode for additional detection of false signals. This made the detector much more quiet and gave great detection range on the K band. It's easier to auto-mute those automatic doors now than it was before. KA is run by most law enforcement. Even though there are a few agencies that use K, my R3 is still better than my 9500ix on K band. The ugly. There is a blind spot. I came into this hoping to get better performance than my old 9500ix. It is better at BSF than the 9500ix. My old 9500ix used to pick up Honda and GM cars. When it did, the alarm would scare the living Jesus out of me for a moment, thinking that I just got popped with Instand On radar. The R3 isn't this extreme, but it's still a busy road. The signal meter stays low and the alert is usually for a couple of seconds. It's more like a hey I got something here but not like the sky is falling that my 9500ix was prone to do. The weakest link for BSF is that if you are around a Honda/Acura automobile, it will false. The Honday/Acura problem seems to have been solved with the latest firmware updates from both Radenso and Escort. My real world opinion is here. I travel extensively on the road and have had detectors for decades. The R3 is the most sensitive detector I have ever laid eyes on. My 9500ix beat my friend's V1 easily. If you don't change the settings to keep the false alert in the K band, it will go off around town in mixed driving. With factory settings, it's still not as busy as my friend's V1. There are other things you can do with the R3 to restrict K band sensitivity, but it's a fine line between performance and quiet. If you know that the X band isn't used for traffic control in your area, you should turn it off. KA wouldn't trade it for the world. I haven't encountered a situation yet where I live, so I can't comment on Laser. To defeat Laser and have legitimate protection, you really need a jammer. Is it a good idea to recommend it? You have to make changes to tame the K band chattiness of the detector. There are many options for the R3. I'm hoping that with the next release, Uniden will catch up to the other manufacturers improvement with BSF. There is an update. I have had a detector for almost two years and here are some more thoughts. I had to replace the power cord and suction mounts because they aren't as strong as my old one. Uniden can do better. The BSM filters have gotten better with the K- Block feature. It is still not as quiet as an escort detector but is good enough for interstate driving. There are a few falses that I can figure out. If I had to pick one of the three, I would pick the R-7. Why? Because of the price and performance, you don't have to use additional apps on your phone to use the features. You still have to train it the same way as the R-3. The V1 looks like a science fair project because you have to run apps to take advantage of the features. The price of the Redline needs to be told to Escort. It's not worth it against the R-7 or V1 Gen2. The R-3 is still a good deal for the price and has a good range. It doesn't have the range of the new big three or arrows, but it will still perform like a champ when you need it to do so and is still the best single antenna detector in my opinion.

👤If you are not up to the task of locating RF signals, you should not buy this item. The real deal that you will find will be around $500. You need a device that will tell you the exact frequencies you are following and the ability to block other signals. You need to know the frequencies of the devices you are looking for. The correct device for this type of work is not usually sold as spy equipment.
👤We bought this product to figure out what strange device was connected to our network. The scans did not show what kind of device it was. The purchase would be good since I work in cyber security. The instructions are not the best. The first green indicator light was turned on after connecting both antennas. I saw it work when I had a browser open. It was lighted up like a Christmas tree after being closer to the modem. I know how it worked. I pressed the button twice to make it vibrate. I went around the house and found a storage device that we didn't use, but which was plugged in in the wrong place. At least we know our house is not bugged. The same procedure will work to detect all other devices, since they are not necessarily wi-fi enabled. The machine will light up strongly when used. I think it works well for the purpose and even for more "spy-ish" kind of work, since at least it shows you devices that are transmitting whatever it is they are sending that you may not have been aware of before.
👤I tested it against my cameras and it worked well. It worked well when I tested it on a single device. I am very happy with this device. Bizlink has some of the best customer service I have used in electronics in a long time. Louisa was knowledgeable and helped me through everything.
👤After a while you get used to how to measure the dBm. I am going to buy a couple more.
👤It takes a little practice but you are ready to go.
👤I like the bug detector. It gives you a sense of place.
👤It is difficult to figure out how to use it, but once you do it works great.
👤I wasn't sure how well the bug detector would work, but after a few tries, I'm pleasantly surprised at how good it is. The first thing to point out is that this is a general RF detector. It won't point out where the devices are and requires a little knowledge about how radio frequencies work. The instructions booklet is very easy to understand and sets out how to operate the detector. It's a case of attaching a short antenna to a power source and then using a rotating knob on the top to detect the RF signal. It works best if all the non-essential devices are turned off. You should set it at the minimal sensitivity level and then move it around the room until the unit can detect a RF. The control knob can be used to adjust the sensitivity. The "GPS bug" detection is a case of detecting magnets. Attach and extend the probe and press the left button for 3 seconds to change mode. The short antenna isn't needed at the moment. If you move the probe around, it will detect magnetic fields. I've tested it on small magnetic devices and it illuminates the LEDs when it picks up a magnet. The camera lens detector can be used to observe reflections. You can observe through the circular viewer when the red LEDs are on. This is more impressive than I anticipated. It works well with a small amount of practice. The unit is easy to operate. This can easily be used, even though it is designed for bugs. The home should be able to detect RF that may be interfering with other devices. I can definitely recommend this device.

👤I carry a firearm, however early warning or deterrent is a plus, I used this tent camping to keep coyotes and lions away, I do carry a firearm, however early warning or deterrent is a plus, I used this tent camping to keep coyotes and lions away. It scared a pack of coyotes away on our last night. Has a good range and can go off before they get too close. When it went off, they freaked out and turned away from our campsite. It's a must on every camping trip for us because we have a 2yr old daughter, and it helps to prevent possible issues with early warning and prevention of a dangerous interaction. Definitely recommend. It is very easy to set up. It was only set for night time with a flashing light and alarm. You can set it and forget about it. You can also set it to be solar charged so it doesn't die. Set to have only flashing light or alarm. Your choice! It is very much worth the price. The zip tied to the tent poles in the middle of the wind and dust in the Mohave desert for 4 days was great. This is a hidden value on Amazon.
👤I took a chance buying it because I thought the quality would not be as good and it might not work for my application, which is to scare a cat away that keep doing it's business in my back yard. I was hanging on a tree. I have never found cat mess in my back yard again after hearing it 2 or 3 times. It worked out great.
👤Stray animals will sometimes come up on my deck as I have an unfenced yard, so I have installed a deck post outside. It was easy to test out the box because it was semi charged. I charged it in the sun for 48 hours and then set it for night time use and it will light up when it's triggered.
👤I wanted to scare off the deer at night by getting these. So far, so good, I don't know which of these is doing the trick, but I put up a net. You can't tell if I'm in day or night mode, or flash only, or sound only, because I have to keep re-setting and testing. Sounds simple? You have to come back after dark to see if it's set for night or day. I was a bit worried that the sirens would be intrusive to the area, but we live in the country and our neighbors aren't affected at all. It's loud enough to cause the deer to take off. The motion detection seems to change over time. Sometimes I have to get within about 2 feet to set it off, and at other times it seems to detect movement from 10 to 12 feet away. $17 is cheap compared to others on the market, but it's not meant to be a $75 detector, and if you know this going in, you have nothing to complain about. I bought two of them and will probably get two more to protect the space around the flower beds.
