Garmin Suction Magnetic DezlCam78 010 12771 00

The magnetic mount is powered.

Brand: Garmin

👤I drive two trucks. The additional mount was needed to make moving the gps simpler. The only complaint is that it should have a power cord.

👤A very good replacement.

👤If you are looking for a genuine product, look no further. It was the part we needed. Thank you!

👤The piece I was trying to replace had a square shield in the MAGNET. My mistake is not guns or Amazons.

👤The amount that failed bought a replacement that worked perfectly.

👤My husband has one of these in his semi.

👤The item was described. The item arrived quickly and was thankful for it. My gps broke a month ago and I was upset. I use my gps everyday and I am glad this part was available. The side wire that comes with the gps is not included. I paid a good price for the mount.

👤I replaced my original with this one. I have to take mine out of my truck every night because the glue gets weaker. I want to avoid it falling off the window while I am driving.

👤Exactly what I needed for the second vehicle. All I have to do is take the actual Garmon gps from vehicle to vehicle. Works well.

👤Conforme la commande. s rapide.

2. Garmin 010 10747 00 Suction Cup Mount

Garmin 010 10747 00 Suction Cup Mount

For the StreetPilot C500. This cup is used to secure your device to a smooth surface. Not included is the mount.

Brand: Garmin

👤Leave it to the navigator. I can't take the mount off my car because the force on my car is so strong that I can't take it off myself. The plastic lever that was used to tighten the mount fell off the assembly onto my center console. When I put the unit back in place, I noticed it had very little Torque. They have to be replaced once they break. Anyway, now. I can't remove the mount from the lever even when I release it. I would break the plastic on the replacement unit if I tried harder. I usually remove the Garmin from my car at night as the entire unit/suction cup mount and the Garmin itself were falling onto my center console due to excessive heat build up in the morning. Not anymore! ! I put the gps device in my center console storage compartment and leave the mount on the car. In the morning, I attach the gps device to the plastic ball, and that's it. The unit is much stronger than the mount that came with it. If you want to buy a navigation unit, invest $11 and buy the Suction Cup Mount from the store, as it's way more durable and tight. Keep the mount that comes with the Garmin as a backup. The replacement unit fits my device perfectly. The replacement unit will fit the part, so no worries. Thanks to Amazon for keeping the replacement parts in stock and to Garmin for manufacturing the replacement parts that naturally need to be replaced over time. I am very happy with this replacement mount. Don't hesitate to buy it. It's better than the one that came with the unit. It is amazing.

👤I had the cup for about a year. It doesn't stick to the car for more than 10 minutes. I like to use a gps device instead of my phone. I had to go back to my phone because it was embarrassing to have the gps fall into the lap of a client. It does not suck is a bad thing. Very disappointed. It's a pity.

👤This is the same version that I bought before. I'm glad I read that review. I encourage everyone to do the same. It works better than a knock off, but it costs more, so it's better to stick to the windshield. It seemed like the knock off mount would come undone when I was in heavy traffic, I don't know about anyone else. I like to use both my phone's navigation and my phone's navigation just in case the phone loses signal.

👤A year ago we bought a solar powered back up camera for our car. The original mount was not compatible with the dash and would not fit. We ordered a mount that came with a disk that you can mount to a textured surface, then mount the cup directly onto the disk. It has been great so far. The original was thrown away because it was so bad.

3. APPS2Car Dashboard Friction Magellan Smartphones

The spring lock holder will fit any 3-7 inch gps and cell phones with a unique Anti-slip Jello Block under the mount that will stick on to your dashboard and be easy to clean with water. The APPS2Car Beanbag Mount is easy to attach a gps / cell phone unit to your car, and five slots allow you to adjust your device in multiple angles. One of the best alternatives to mount a car on a truck is to use a cell phone. No cradle needed! No magnets, no harm to your device! The heat made the cup fall off. There is no interference with the air conditioner or the cd player. The Nuvi 1100 1200 is compatible with the portable Friction Mount. etc There is a car mount for all of the phones, including the Note 10 9 and the S10e S9 S8 Note 9. 👤This would be a good design for a gps holder. This thing does not stay put. I quote: " Find your sweet spot and put down the sticker, then put the unit on it." The thing will become airborne after you take a 2 mph turn.

👤I have been using this for over two years. It holds my car. I drive a 2500HD. I've never had it move. Some of the reviews say that theirs moves around, but I drive around construction sites and roll down the highway, and it has always stayed in place. I'm very happy with this. I don't move my device. On hot sunny days, the mount would fall off.

👤One needs to keep a clear view of the road ahead and to obviate the vacuum holding your gps to a windshield from failing and dropping in traffic and/or repeatedly. It is easy to move in traffic. There is a It's best to wait a while, maybe forever, from sticking it to one spot on the dash or console. You will want to take it with you to another vehicle occasionally, but you will want to change it from time to time.

👤The issues that I had with this Mount may be different to what I've had before. Is it ok for other gps models? The power cord must be connected to use the traffic detector feature of the 2455. The power switch is located at the lop left of the unit and the power cord is located at the bottom left. To allow for minimum clearance between the plug and the grip "tooth" of theGPS Mount while providing access to theGPS power switch, theGPS must be shifted to one side. The grip on the opposite side of the mount does not provide a secure grip to the gps. Photoe 3. Issue #2. There is a non-stick gel substance at the bottom of the gps mount. The bottom surface of the Mount is flat. It was difficult to find a flat surface for the non-slip gel to grip on the front console of my vehicles. A better design would have been a flexible bottom surface. As dust accumulates on the substance, gel-type non-stick substances lose their effectiveness. Positives. The design is easy to store and may be a good mount for many gps, but not for a garmin. The concept is ok, but a few changes away from an excellent gps mount design.

👤I've used this to hold my electronics. It holds both securely. I need to wash the sticky area on the bottom of the mount to remove the dust after the mount slides a bit. It is guaranteed to elicit further security screening when I take it with me when I fly and rent a car. If you want to keep your luggage and carry-on bag free of TSA, you should put it in a screening bin. They can't see through it, so it gets swabbed.

👤I wanted a holder that wouldn't require me to block an a/c vent, so I chose this one. It was easy to figure out because it works like a giant clothes pin and the gps sits securely in the ridged "mouth". It's weighted with a non-slip bottom that's about the size of my open hand, so it doesn't slip when placed on the dash. I didn't want to use the peel-and-stick pad that was on the bottom. I would rather have the option of taking the gps off the dash when it's not being used, and not leaving a sticky glue mess. It's what I needed since the windshield cup on my old gps didn't fit well.

4. APPS2Car Windshield DriveSmart DriveassistRV StreetPilot

APPS2Car Windshield DriveSmart DriveassistRV StreetPilot

This ball mount is not compatible with RV 890. Extra long gout arm. The aluminum long arm can bend up to 13 inches for various visual angles to your liking, making it easy to mount the gps on the dashboard without blocking the field of view. The gps dash mount is made of a sticky gel and a locking lever that will not come undone or slip off, and you can easily mount it on most flat surfaces. The anti-shake stabilizer is held in place by the strong sticky cup ball mount. A replacement gps holder is an alternative to gps air vent mount holder, gps friction beanbag mount holder and gps dash pad. The fit for Drivesmart 50 is wide. RV 660 760 770 (LMT LMT-S), Nuvi cam, and Zumo are all part of the LMT NA. The StreetPilot DriveLuxe Aera DriveRrack series is one of them.

Brand: Apps2car

👤The unit is not compatible with the RV. The mount is too small. Unless there is a change out ball for the mount, the unit will have to be returned.

👤I bought this as a replacement for a previous design that was mounted directly to the windshield with a short, rigid extension. The new version has a longer "gooseneck" and a better cup that grips like a vise. My initial impressions are that it will hold up, but it's not certain if it will hold up to the constant vibration and sunlight that weaken mounts over time. If you don't need the reach of the previous version, the gooseneck may be a better choice. I quickly realized that mounting my gps to the fully extended gooseneck without thestabilizer was not a good idea. At the end of the "stalk," my gps swayed and jiggled at the bumps in the road. I didn't think there was a risk of it coming loose, but the bouncing was very distracting. In my preferred mounting location, there isn't a good place to add the stabilizer, so I looked for another location where I could brace the gooseneck or the gps against something solid. I put the gps on top of the dash and mounted it directly in front of my driving position. The two points of stability provided by this may not be the best solution for safety reasons. It's helpful to have the gps positioned so close to the controls. Having a constantly moving display right in my line of sight is not good. I think the previous version was better for my needs, even though I may get used to it in time. It was long enough to keep the gps within easy reach, but off to the side where it didn't compete for my attention. I may try to figure out a way to move the mount back to the side with the bracing.

👤My car is a Chrysler Town and Country. I need a long mounting device to be used in my day-to-day driving with my gps device. Your product is very sturdy. The mounting attachment on my Garmin model should work fine even though it isn't listed in the product description. I noticed that the mounting ball doesn't snap into the back of my Garmin nearly as securely as the stanchion that comes with the typical auto units. I'm not sure if it's a problem yet, but I'm sure a good bounce in the water here in Michigan will knock it off the mount. It has solved my issue with locating my gps device. This mount has long-reach, exaggerated sloped windshields.

👤It's a great gps holder. It holds my gps very well. The ball fits well to the gps sockets and the suction is very strong. It does not come with brackets, so I give it 4 stars. If you need brackets to hold your phone, you're out of luck because it doesn't include them with it. You have to look for a different model. I only need it to hold my 7 inch gps and I am very happy with it.

5. TIHOOD Windshield Holder Suction Windscreen

TIHOOD Windshield Holder Suction Windscreen

Perfect compatible with all of the gps devices that come with a pattern. The measurement is 2.2inch and the height is 2.5inch. TheBall Socket Suction Cup holds firmly on to your windshield. ExtraGPS mounts are the perfect solution for moving your navigation system from one vehicle to another with less hassle. Don't ever lose your way. This mount will keep your Nuvi gps with you at all times. Attach the mount to your car with the help of a cup.

Brand: Tihood

👤The diameter of the third-party mounts is not specified. They are too small and loose inside the sockets, causing the gps to droop. The defect for this product is mentioned by other reviewers. The seller has a list of compatible devices for my specific model of Garmin. Theuction-power of this mount seemed to be excellent. They were returned to Amazon. I will pay twice the price to try it. This larger cup is designed to provide extra-holding-power for the larger models. The actual diameter of the actual swivel ball is 17.2mm. If you want to fool with it, you can use a loose ball with a ring and a halo of electrical tape.

👤This is the second time I have had to replace this part. Is anyone else having that problem? The first one had a pin that loosened and fell off the car. I replaced it and that one fell after an hour. It's not good when you're speeding. I am happy that this came with two and so far, so good on the first one. It comes off easily. I have a back-up when it bites the dust.

👤The gps mount has a pretty powerful suction. It works well on road trips. It's easy to remove and store when not in use. I would recommend this product to anyone who would like to have an easy way to mount their gps system.

👤The mount holder works well. Most things, as well as I, do not have an amenity. The strength of the force is very good. Most of the time, the mount holder stays in place for weeks or months. When it falls onto the dash, it's not a problem to reattach. If you want to lock the cup back in place, you have to wet the back of the cup.

👤The item's spring snapped after four hours of use. The car's navigation system could have fallen in that place and caused an accident. I wouldn't buy this package again. I only gave it a one star because I couldn't give it a half star. It is very difficult to get to a drop off point to return an item in a remote area when you are on vacation, and Amazon is not helping that. Don't buy this item.

👤The Garmen's original windshield mount needed to be replaced. They will stick to the window, usually just a small amount of gling needs to be done. The ball size is too small, that's the bigger issue. The Garmen will fall out if they stay upright. I have a piece of paper in the cup to help me get a more secure fit on the second one. Quality control isn't there for the money I spend so I'm not too worried about it.

👤The cup works. The ball is small, so the device can move a bit when you hit bumps on the road.

👤I was worried that it would be difficult and expensive to replace the attachment part in our rental car, but I was able to find a two pack that is reasonably priced.

6. TIHOOD Windshield Holder Suction Windscreen

👤I lost my previous cup, but this one works the same. I hope to not lose the cups again.

👤The vehicle was turned over to the customer because I had to get to the airport.

👤It works just as well as my device. A good deal!

👤Thank you, they work very well.

👤Do not buy if you have a large gps.

7. ARKON GN079WD Replacement Additional Windshield

ARKON GN079WD Replacement Additional Windshield

The nuvi devices have a 17mm ball mounting pattern. The sticky base has a maximum surface bond. The arm of the mount adjusts vertically. The mount package only includes the Sticky Suction Mounting Pedestal with 3-inch arm and 17mm ball head. The above listed nuvi devices should have a 17mm ball compatible holder.

Brand: Arkon

👤On July 19th, this extended arm mount was received. It was attached to my 4Runner dash using a stick-on disk, but not using a suction cup. It has not released contact yet, and it has a DriveSmart 61 gps on it, but it is in the summer. It adjusts to a wide range of angles and stays locked in position. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the spot on the dash, allowed the alcohol plenty of time to dry, and put the cup in the fridge for 24 hours before loading the gps unit. If you don't lift and remount the cup, it will become sticky in it's own rite, and you may have worse luck with it staying attached. The length of the mounts arm allows me to hang the gps low off the end of the dash, and just above the AC vent, without blocking the air flow. Highly recommended.

👤The arm appears to be 3 inches longer than it is in the image. I needed a mount for the rear view monitor in the RV. The monitor was kept at an odd angle by horizontal mounts. The monitor is nicely adjusted and positioned. The cup is tacky and really sticks to the disc. In the past, I have had problems with these black-colored mounts getting too hot and even melting when placed on a car's dash or windshield. I am not sure if this one would survive under those conditions. I would suggest removing it when not needed. When not using the mount, cut out a piece of round, white paper and put it over the disc.

👤I had this for 6 years and it was probably responsible for it's eventual failure. Since no men read instructions, you have to break the seal by lifting the rubber edge, which my husband didn't do. It would have lasted longer. It lasted as long as it did and I recommend it. I wouldn't put a gps in my car. The safest place to take your eyes off the road is in the middle of the windshield.

👤It adds flexibility to where you can position your gps, which is something the mounts can't provide. The ball head is different from the other mounts because it has been extended out from the end of the arm to give clearance for the collar the ball snaps into. That increases the amount of travel that the gps can take, increasing the angle the gps can be positioned at. The second thing is that the arm and travel add to the position options on your dash or windshield. The recess at the bottom of the base is deeper than the one at the top of the base, which increases the holding force of the mount. The cup is made from a softer, more flexible material that makes it stick. On a smooth surface, I found that just pushing down on the mount without even flipping the locking lever, it already affixes itself, flipping the lever to increase the suction locks it into place. The mount has been used on both the Honda Accord and the Chevy Cruze, without the need for the included disc.

8. Garmin 7 Inch Suction Without Mount

Garmin 7 Inch Suction Without Mount

The Nuvi 2757LM and 2797LMT are compatible with the Nuvi 7. The mount should be put to the windshield. The package has dimensions of 17.018 L x 8.382 H x 8.89 W.

Brand: Garmin

👤The mount is in a retail box. It's better than the standard mount that comes with a gps. The standard mount has a 5.4 cm cup-diameter. This one has a post that is a bit longer and it is a more sturdy construction. It's an add-on accessory that can be used with the larger 7" units to give them extra holding power. Almost all of the new and old Garmin gps units will fit in this mount, as they all mount to this 17.2mm diameter ball. The unit I have is the nvi 255W and it fits perfectly. It's nice and snug, but still works well. I've used the'regular'-sized mounts for the last decade, and I can tell you that this 'large' mount has a ton more holding power; I could feel it even as I initially mounted it on the windshield. My experience is that the regular-sized mounts barely last two years before they fail. I think that eventually the cup warps so that it can no longer hold a seal. I think this large one is going to hold up longer. We'll see. It lasted about 13 months before it refused to stay up. I would come to the car and it would fall off. It was better than all the smaller non-OEM ones I've owned before that. I was in the Southwest and this cup saw service through a very hot summer. That may have accelerated its demise. We'll see how that one goes after I buy another one. There is aSIDE. I have learned that the ones with the clear cups will turn into goop under the heat, and that you can get67531s on your dashboard. You can use a loose ball with a ring and electrical tape. It's an imperfect solution, but it will keep the gps from flopping face-down and hold it to any adjusted position. If you want to glue your cup to your car, I have found the best substance to use to be Permatex Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant. Most auto stores sell it for about $7 a tube. If you apply a little around the diameter of the cup, it will extend the life of the mount and it won't turn into gunk. The removal of the silicone from the window requires multiple applications of lighter fluid, a lot of initial loosenment, and a single-edge razor blade. YMMV.

👤I've never owned a gps that wouldn't fall off of the window within a week of installation, where you'll spend the rest of your life licking a thumb, rubbing alcohol and praying it will stay on as soon as the sun comes out. I drive for a living and it becomes an impediment. I've been using this for a while. It works, can't complain. It either sticks or starts to fall down, there isn't a whole list of pros or cons. This isn't falling down. Either 1 or 5 stars is what it is. I have 5 stars in my book. What price? It shouldn't cost as much as a piece of plastic or a spring. $13? For the same price, you can buy a 128 gigabyte memory card or 2 packs of batteries. There are multiple gps mounts on Amazon that cost between 8 and 9 dollars. Paying 70% more for a logo is unfortunate.

9. HapGo Universal Smartphone Dashboard Smartphones

The personalized car mount will definitely stand out among the common ones, because of the crocodile skin and green eyes. The rubber base and crocodile teeth give stable support to prevent your mobile devices from being crashed. The device type that is suitable is garmin Nuvi, Via GO, and other 3-6 inch devices. It's an ideal gift choice to put it in your car. A unique design added more scores. HapGo Team is confident to give you a quality lifetime warranty.

Brand: Hapgo

👤Just got this. The "Croc" was installed without a problem. I think it is filled with sand rather than beans. There is a section in the rear that is made of silicone. I went over the area where I was going to install the croc with rubbing alcohol to remove any leftover grease. I put the croc after removing the film covering the sticky section. It's important to remove grease and oil from the area where the sticky silicone will rest. I used my gps to drive around for a couple of hours. The croc never moved despite the heavy gps. It works better if you have the suction cup holder with you. It adds a little personality to the vehicle.

👤The plastic spring broke after six months. I didn't get a warranty as stated in the description. Contact manufacturer for warranty. The manufacturer said that Amazon doesn't provide a link to this. You can find warranty information on the manufacturer's website.

👤I like this thing. The phone is held nice and tight. I didn't need to adhere to it because it fit in the top tray of my truck and is stable. This is what you want if you like alligator/crocodile stuff and need a phone holder.

👤The phone holder is perfect. Even without the sticky part, it stays put. I was in the Everglades and in some rough terrain, my gator head never fell off my dash, I wasn't even using the sticky part. It holds my phone in two different ways, vertically and horizontally. I photograph nature. The fact that it's a gator head was an added bonus. This holder is recommended by me. There is an update 11-4-20. The holder doesn't fit my car. It's a shame. I cleaned it up and it is now sitting on my desk as a phone stand.

👤Will not stick to dash and only has one small sticker to keep the whole thing anchored. It's lost its stickiness very quickly.

👤I bought this holder for my father, and it is very easy to use. Thejaws open and close on either a cell phone or gps. The holder has enough weight to keep it from sliding around the dash while driving, even without using the included strip. This product is very good. It is cute.

👤I just got a neat gps holder. It is very sturdy and holds my device very snug. No more people falling on the floorboard. Under normal driving conditions, it does not slide on the dash. It was very pkeased and may order more for gifts.

👤I have yet to use it because it's sliding on my dash empty. I tried the old hot glue trick, but it didn't stick to it. Money was wasted.

👤Put large screws in place.

Brand: Soekoa

👤The screen on the RV770 fell off when we traveled across the country. The display would fall off if the mount was not holding it. I thought I would have to glue the ball mount to the bean bag mount. I was surprised that it was hard to get the ball in and then a very secure connection. I'm happy to be here for the rest of the trip. If you have a gps that can come off and you have the original brackets, these are awesome.

👤It's a shame that this isn't an own part anymore. This part isn't quite right. It's difficult to fit it on the ball because it's too small. I had to use oil to get it on and force it so hard that the metal ring came out. The gps does not "snap" on after all that.

👤This is a good value for the money, even though it is not a genuine part. If you are willing to do a little sanding or filing, it will work. It's not as polished as the original. It has some ruff edges. It took less than five minutes to clean it up so it wasn't tight to fit. I don't think the part is worth twice the price. I prefer the older mounts but they don't work with the new gps design. I'm guessing these won't last more than 3 years. When I need more, I will buy again. They arrived a few days after the order was placed. I can use my gps right away. Thanks.

👤The product is similar to the original one. I have not been able to use it yet because I need a piece of furniture. Prime shipping has no guarantee. The product I ordered and the one I received were supposed to have 2 days. I'm still waiting for the piece to arrive, it took 10 days. This is an issue with Amazon. I choose a vendor on prime who claims 2 days when I need something quickly and often pay more for it. If not shipped, Amazon should back their guarantee with something more. I'm buying more from Ebay because of this.

👤Quality is the reason why these are returned. The gps ball mount has a spring that tries to pop out. The tab that slides into the gps at the top is cast too thick and does not fit into the gps without being forced. I still have a part that works, but these are a flop because I ordered the real part at the same time. I can see using a $3 and having to force it together and break a $400 gps, no thanks.

👤It popped off when I tried to keep it on the back of the unit. I was going to break the unit if it stayed on because I wanted to get it on the ball. Got them today and will return them tomorrow.

👤I wonder if there is a place where Chinese cheap generic parts manufacturers can find good quality parts, if they want them really cheap. The part doesn't fit on the original hook. It looks like it will break into pieces the first time you open it. I am sending it back from where it came from.

11. Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount

Garmin Portable Friction Dashboard Mount

The dashboard Friction mount is compatible with the Nuvi and ZumoGPS series. There is a portable alternative to windshield mounts. The mount is securely on the dashboard. Transferring from car to car is easy. The new design is lighter in weight and more flexible. The integrated arm can be folded down to make it easier to store in an automobile or luggage. Transferring from car to car is easy.

Brand: Garmin

👤I like the best dashboard mount for the nuvi. I wanted to give prospective buyers a virtual hands-on demo by recording this video review. I hope it is helpful.

👤I would give this a 6 star rating. It's the best. I've been searching for a mount that would last for a long time and I've found it. I've done the research for you so you don't waste time. I've tried a lot of different devices and all of them would work for a while before they stopped working. I've tried the device where you press it against the window. It would work for a while, but it would fall off during driving. If I hit a bumpy road, I've tried putting my saliva on the bottom of the suction to make it last longer, but it will fall off again if I hit it again. This idea is terrible. Let me tell you why. The sticky bottom doesn't work on all dashboard surfaces because of the materials used. The sticky bottom device I've tried is too heavy and clunky to fit on the dashboard and it would fall off if mounted. A sticky bottom device that can handle a gps unit would work for a while before it wears off. The most sticky of devices would melt in the hot summer when you roll up your window. It would cause the device to topple over because of the weight. I can't explain how angry I am when I get off work and open my car door to find something on the floor. I have not tried the device, but I did research and found that it would tug and pull on the mirror, so you would have to manually adjust it. It will become an annoyance more than anything. I've read that it is not stable and tends to shake a lot. Why would anyone want to do that? There are four different devices researched, including the sticky bottom, the hang on rear view mirror, and the stick it in your CD tray. I'm not trying to bad mouth them because they all work hard. They don't last and they create frustration. The great thing about the Friction Dashboard Mount is that it's not related to the above. It's not sticky, not hanging, and it's not sucking. It's not smooth. The best part? It works! I don't have to worry about it falling off my car. The rubber platform can be molded to fit the shape of your dashboard and the little ball thing on the top really holds the gps unit in tightly so it doesn't wobble/rotate around while driving. I'm surprised it doesn't move on my dashboard. It's stable. It really works.

👤I tried to attach a device to a car's window, but the device couldn't hold much attachment or removal, even when it was cold. Other bean-bag type holders are not always in place. I have been a wheelchair transport driver for the last four years and have been a chauffeur for five years. I use this mount to fit the plate to the dash. It stays in place. I bought this one to replace the one I have been using for the last seven years, as it broke in the center after a lot of hard use. One of the mounts we use for trips, including rental cars, is in my personal vehicle.
