The 9-32VDC is 12VDC. 100% waterproof and anti-fogging protection is provided by the 1 year warranty. Slope data is automatically calculated to the center of the green. Automatic hole recognition and guide. The complete athletic watch includes jogging, cycling, speed, calorie burned and other key data. There are 40,000 courses that have been pre loaded. Automatic Scorecard is smart scoring.
👤I was hoping that this watch would be a replacement for my S20, but it simply isn't. The positive first. It adjusts for slope automatically. It's fairly accurate comparing it to scope readings. It is a place. You can't go back and forth from slope to slope. The three readings are Front, Middle and Back. The Cons are 1) It is large and heavy. I was able to adjust to the weight but it was not comfortable compared to my watch. There is no back up function for holes. The first hole is where the watch tells you to go. It will not give you any yardage until you get to the tee. Even though I was on the tee, it wouldn't advance to the next hole. I couldn't get a reading for that hole since there is no manual adjust feature. Most of the time, it advances. Unless you sign out of the yardage feature, you can'tggling to the time or any other setting. You have to leave to get the time. You have to choose the golf option if you do during play. It can take a while to get the satellite back. It's difficult to get the time. When you hit the back key, my device will go back to its original position. The battery life is good. Between rounds, I would charge. The walk/run feature can be used to measure how far you run or walk. I liked that it would give you pace and time. You can't keep track of previous sessions because there is no memory. It does measure distance accurately. The slope feature is what I was looking for in this watch and it seems to work well. You only have two settings for with and without slope, which must be selected in the settings mode. The slope adjustment will be removed by the tournament option. It's better than my Garmin in the slope adjustment and the ability to track walk/run distance. The pros are offset by the cons. The watch reads yardage fairly accurately. The price is not bad, but it doesn't do enough to counter the issues.
👤Never worked. It was delivered un charged. It said no course was found. I looked on the computer to make sure the course was pre-programmed. The watch never came up again. I can't get a screen. If there was one, the rate would be zero.
👤I use this for golf only and have no complaints. It's easy to read and accurate. Once you are in the parking lot, turn on golf mode. It does a great job once you lock it. It is possible to distinguish a hole in a shotgun start.
👤The product was turned off by the auto advance. I started at the back nine and it took me a while to figure out the hole number in two holes. I had to move manually to the next hole. I didn't realize that there were two holes that were unable to provide the correct yardage because it was still on the previous hole. It worked in the back nine but had problems in the front nine.
The display size is 23 x 23. The first of its kind, the Wingman combines high quality audio with the ability to receive audible directions. BITE magnetic technology makes it possible to mount to the bar of your cart. You can listen to your music on the course while pushing the remote to hear the directions. The Wingman's battery can last up to 10 hours on a charge. The Wingman is one of the products that comes with the Bushnell Golf App. The app gives you a full-color aerial view of the hole layout.
👤Don't like it. So far this year, I have played 5 rounds with it. I think the magnet is better than average. I have compared the accuracy of the three items. The Wingman is consistently off by 15 yards, even though the laser and cart distances are the same. The ranges are being compared and checked on the same hole. I would like to hit the Wingman button in my pocket. The app continues to run after I'm done with it, and there is no way to turn it off. I played a round yesterday and it still says "monitoring your course location." I can't find a way to turn off. There are some programming bugs that need to be fixed. I would go with a basic speaker for golf until the next generation comes out.
👤I've seen it used and it's awesome. It's useless if you don't have the app for use on the play store. It is a 1 star product until it is fixed. It's a 5 star device and one of the best golf tools I've ever seen.
👤I really like this speaker. I would like to be able to adjust the range finder voice to be louder without having to raise the volume of the music. I enjoy playing music on the course. I want to be aware of other golfers. This would be a 5 out of 5 if there was a way to adjust both volumes. There is a The sound quality is great. I use it in the shop when I am not golfing.
👤The speaker needs some help. It was very accurate on the course. Pick up the course and record it as soon as possible. The hole announcement and speaker quality are very good. The speaker is very cool, but it talks softer than the actual music volume, which is a disadvantage. This feature is almost rendered useless by it. They want an easy way to get yardage and listen to music while swinging in the sticks. The magnetic contact has fallen off the cart on a few occasions.
👤So. I went a couple weeks ago. Was able to use it over the weekend. Before using it, make sure you are aware. I tested the connections and got everything to work out. The sound isn't bad. I started this up as soon as I got to the course, and the issues came after that. The speaker and controller were only used as a pair. You can't use the distance directly from the speaker. I tried many times but still nothing. After I deleted and unpaired everything, I put it all back together. I had the same issue, but finally it started working. I was at Hole three by then. The volume of the music went down after I pushed the button. I had to raise the volume back up. The distance is not exact, but I knew it. I play for fun and having it off doesn't affect me. At this point, not all of the product...
RC drones for adults are safe to use. The X3 remote control drone has a low-battery warning function. The body of the drone is made of durable materials and broken-resistant materials are used for propeller guards to avoid accidental user cutting or wearing off. The ultimate golf cart accessories, their handheldGPS units are equipped with an integrated magnet designed to attach to the cart frame for hands-free, eye-level viewing. Their handheldGPS units come with over 38,000 global course maps, no subscription fees, and include free updates. The large, vibrant color display is easy to read and operate.
👤I'm 69 years old. An avid golfer. I spent $349 on a laser range finder two years ago to get more accuracy with the distances I had to hit. The slope reader was included in this thing. They don't tell you what to do when you buy one, you better have a steady hand, or at least be able to brace yourself against something. The "cross-hairs" bounce around like rabbits. It was more frustrating than anything else. The brand name was lousy. There is a I bought the Swami 6000 from IZZO. Imagine a technology that does what it says it will do for under $100.00. It's easy to use, with 40,000 courses in their library, and it's magnetic so it sits right on the frame of my golf cart. The distance to the green front is shown to me when I get my ball. I wanted it to do that. I could keep my score on it, but I need to know how far to get home, I've played many courses before. IZZO, keep it up!
👤The product is great. The new charging system is better than the previous ones. The yardage is always on the front and back of the green. The gps is reliable. You have to wait until you get 60 yards away from the previous hole to record your score. Sometimes it can be a problem. The other things about this gps are great. I would recommend this product to anyone.
👤I bought this to replace a device that stopped working. I was told to send it back with $90 and they would rebuild it. I jumped at the $129 price when I saw it. It has more than I need for my 14 handicap game and does not have a lot of features of the G6. When you wonder to far off the fairway, it tends to switch holes but you can't go wrong. If you are that far off the fairway, how good can you be if you can either go one way or the other? The battery life is amazing. The battery was only 50% down after almost 12 hours of play.
👤The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because when I get close to another hole it jumps ahead and won't stay on the hole I'm on even if I change it. Even though I have a rain cover on the post, the strong magnet has never fallen off my cart. I can play multiple rounds between charges if you change the plug in charge from the magnet charge. This is my third Izzo. I like them. For a lot more money, work as well as others.
👤This is what I wanted. I decided to go with this instead of spending a lot of money on a good one. The gps is off in the area. After two rounds of golf, the battery life is excellent. I only lost one bar as I was on the last hole. The hazard feature is pretty accurate, but I have seen two holes that were missing water hazard. Maybe that's why, both were small creeks. The buttons are easy to press but for me they are fine. It won't come on while in a bag. 100% satisfied.
A high-resolution sunlight-readable display is included in the new round watch design. There are more than 42,000 courses in the world. Provides yardages to the front, back and middle of the green. You can keep score on the watch and use the app to participate in the weekly leaderboards. Track your score and how far you hit with each club with compatible ApproachCT10 club tracking sensors. The battery life is up to 30 hours.
👤The screen of the watch is clear in either black or white, and it finds the course faster than any other watch I have had. The buttons are the same as the Approch s10. It is simple to use. The dial is round. Someone who wants a clear visible dial and operational speed is going to love this watch.
👤The best golf watch I have ever purchased. It's so light. It's spot-on, compared to myNikon. The battery life is the best part. Really? I still have 98% battery life left after a 4 hour round.
👤It's a good watch, it's very accurate. The hazard and layup distances are difficult to use. It's fine on the golf course, but can't be used as a daily watch. There is no light, so you can't see the time at night, and it doesn't do anything else. I would have saved $90 and bought the 10 instead of the 12 if I had it to do over again.
👤Knowing the distance to the pin is a key element in club selection as a new golfer trying to lower my scores. I used a flag laser, but it was not helpful in my playing. Get it out, find the flag, then put it away. The watch seems to be within a yard. I have a hole locator for my main course. I play the middle of the green on other courses. Even when I couldn't see the flag, I knew which club I wanted. Playing other courses with a version that shows the layout of the hole might be useful. I don't need that feature as most cards show an aerial of each fairway. I like this watch. As I walk up to my ball, I glance at the watch and only have to pick a club. There was no break in my rhythm. I forget that watch is on my left wrist as I swing. It lasts three games, so as I play more, I may raise it to 5 stars for a basic watch.
👤It's very easy to use once you get used to it. When you get to the golf course, tell it you want to play and it will load the course for you. You're ready to go if you indicate which tee your hitting from. It will give you the info you want regardless. You can see the front, center and back of the green as well as the dangers. There are no data fees for the watch. I only have it for a couple of weeks and can't comment on battery life.
👤The product is nice. The original golf watches were stolen and replaced with S12's. We play golf for fun. These were perfect for everyday golfing needs. The are light and efficient. They give us accurate information that is all we need. The accuracy was confirmed by a gps in the golf cart. This is a basic watch.
👤It's all you need to play golf. You can focus on your game. The battery life is good. The display is clear in the sun. It only took a few minutes to view the course in more detail. The large watch is less stable on the wrist because the strap is not as wide as previous models.
The components include microusb cable, wall charger. Voice output of distance The battery has a capacity. Continuous use of 54 holes. The power saving mode helps to finish the round. elevation change, not only middle of the green but also distance to front and back, is provided by Active Green info. Automatic course and hole recognition are lightweight. Over 40,000 course from around the world are available for free and can be updated via the VC manager. The distance to the front and center has been adjusted. Back of the Green.
👤I was interested in the distances taken for the slope. I treated myself to the new model because I like my older model. The device worked perfectly and I played several rounds with it. I had an issue with the device after my 5th round, which included the button getting stuck when I depressed it, so the voice kept repeating the distance, which annoyed some of the golfers around me. It was difficult to shut off the device because the button is small and I had to keep holding it to shut it down. I had to put the device in my bag because it kept repeating distance. I tried to return my device to Amazon, but the date was missed by 7 days, so I had to contact Voice Caddie and request an RMA. I hope they replace the device. I had to pay for shipping and insurance. I returned the device on May 11th. They set me up for a RMA after I reached out to the voice caddie. I sent my device back. I received a new device after evaluation. I used my new device for the first time on Thursday and it worked well for the first nine holes, but on the back nine I started to have the same problem as my first device. The distance would be repeated several times when the button got stuck. The button kept getting stuck even after I lifted the back of it to stop it from talking. I contacted voice caddie via email and asked what they could do for me. I'm waiting for a response. I sent my email on May 29th.
👤Don't buy this item. The button will repeat the distance 3 or 4 times when I push it. Sometimes, in the middle of my swing, it tells me that it is measuring the shot distance, when I did not ask it to do so. I did several times during my last round turn it off, but there is no other way to stop it. It is very annoying. It seemed like a good idea, and most reviews were positive. This isn't one of them. This item is not to be avoided.
👤The 1st unit is about 5 years old and the battery will not power it for more than 4 hours on a slow day. I decided to get a new one because I was happy with the old one. I am concerned with the accuracy of the hole as the fairway marker says 125 yds to the center of green, but the green is uphill from the marker with a 25' elevation rise, even though VC4 says it's the same.
👤We have owned a few Voice Caddie 200's, but think this is worth the purchase price. The new VC 4 has a better satellite connection. The VC 200 was constantly looking for the course and we did not loose signal in the first few rounds. The battery life is good for 54. Being able to measure the shot travel distance was a nice feature of being able to get front, back and center distance to the pin. It's helpful when honing in iron distances. The belt clip was a small issue. We ran it through a belt loop because we were nervous that it wouldn't hold up. They were dangling from that lanyard. We probably saved ourselves the search to find it. All of them are very happy with this item.
The golf watch reflects your passion on and off the course. The Quick Fit 22mm watch band is compatible. A 1.2 inch color touchscreen display is Sunlight-readable. There are outdoor recreation profiles for skiing, snowboarding, stand up paddleboarding, and rowing. You can quickly see precise yardages to greens, Hazards and doglegs on full-color course maps. The bezel is made of either ceramic or polymer. Convenient Quick Fit bands for quick style changes. Up to 10 hours in golf mode and up to 10 days in watch mode. There are more than 40, 000 courses in the world. Quickfit watch band is compatible with:0.866 inches.
👤I've played 5 rounds with this watch. The shot tracking feature was something I was excited about. It was very appealing to have the ability to see the round at the end and see all of your shots. About 1/3 of my shots were detected by the watch. It wasn't even picking up my drives, which is the shot you hit the hardest and should be the easiest to pick up. At the end of the round, there are holes that show one shot or no shots. I went 3 holes without being tracked. garmin told me to update the software on the watch after I tried to contact them for a week. I asked if there was a way to mark a shot if it wasn't detected and there wasn't. They haven't responded to my questions about that option. It is perfect to tell me how far away I am from the hole. The app is rich and great. I wanted a dedicated golf watch. There is an update. I worked with a software developer at the company who reached out after reading my review. I was wearing the wrong watch. I am left handed. I wear my watch on my right wrist. The leading wrist is where the watch needs to be worn. I wore the watch on my left wrist when I took it out on the course. It was much more sensitive and was picking up my practice swings. I can now have a complete review of every round. Thanks for the compliment!
👤I bought this watch after reading many reviews. I used it for 3 rounds of golf and it wouldn't turn on. I returned it to Amazon and they sent me a new watch, I was thinking great customer service. I charged the watch and turned it on after my new watch arrived, I checked to make sure it worked. I haven't had a chance to play golf in 3 weeks because of the rain, so I went to golf and turned on the watch, but it was dead and several tries wouldn't work. This is the first use out of the box and Amazon referred me to the manufacture. When you receive the product, they have a 30 day policy. What a waste of money.
👤I like this watch. I read the independent reviews before buying it, so I knew the features. I was concerned about my ability to learn the settings after reading the negative product reviews. After some quick searches and watching some videos on the internet, it wasn't that hard to use the S60's capabilities. This watch can do a lot of things, but you have to be patient. The golf functions are flawless after a week of use. I played the course and messed around with it. Yardage readings were very accurate and visible in the sun. It was cool to see the yardage of each shot without having to touch any buttons. The watch can be used many different ways. It's a lot lighter than I thought. It feels the same as my FitBit Blaze, in terms of size and weight. You can change the appearance of your watch face on a dime. You can use the app to create your own face, with a picture of one I created. I've used FitBit products for the last four years and I think the Garmin is a better step tracker. I noticed that my FitBit would register a few phantom steps during my commute. I don't know if it's because of the steering wheel vibrating or something. I notice that the device doesn't give me any extra steps. When wearing them at the same time and counting steps, the Garmin was more accurate than before. * Excellent battery life. I've worn it for eight days and haven't needed to replenish it. I use it less than 10% a day, and it only uses 3% in the 14 hours I've been awake. During a round of golf, utilizing the golf features will burn 25% to 35% of their value. Even though it's pricey, it doesn't include a heart monitor, the only thing I miss from my FitBit. For an additional price, you can add an accessory for that function. It's happy. I had to install three apps to cover the features I wanted to use. I have no regrets over the purchase. I like it.
The large, vibrant color display is easy to read and operate. Arccos Caddie is golf's first and only fully-automatic performance tracking system, and has won four-straight Golf Digest Editor's Choice Awards. It has 14 sensors, one for every club in your bag. The Arccos Caddie app is the best golf Caddie. Automatic shot tracking and data capture. The Arccos Caddie Number is the most precise in the game because of the A. I. powered gps range finder that adjusts in real-time for wind, elevation, temperature, humidity and altitude. Caddie Advice that uses A. I. to give you an optimal strategy. You can choose the right club for every shot if you know how far you can hit it. Strokes gained analytic insight to highlight strengths and weaknesses and guide their practices. The first year of membership to the Arccos Caddie app is included.
👤I bought this system after reading a review on the internet. He only used them once or twice. When I received them, they were easy to install and I wanted to try them out so I would get the promised information. I play four times a week. I had 5 rounds in 9 days. I could get the information. Even though I had my phone in my left pocket all the time, the sensors worked. I kept a card to record the round, but a number of shots were missing. Extra shots were recorded. One of the sensors stopped working. After the first two weeks, I found out about that. I liked the idea of my money back warranty being half used up. They sent me one sensor after 4 weeks. It took 10 days to receive the sensor. I went out to play with the system after I received it and 6 more sensors had quit. If I had to replace the sensors every time I played, I would have a real problem and I would let them know. Even though I was past Amazon's 30 day return policy, I was going to return the system. I went out to play and found a lot of missing shots. I don't have the will to test all the sensors again as I know I have at least 3 out. This might be ok for a golfer who plays twice a month and can afford to have a continuous dialog with Arccos and can continually replace sensors for who knows how long until you get fed up and go back to your gps application of choice. If their customer service sucked as bad as their product, I would give them zero stars.
👤Here is my story, I know some people have had issues. I have been using the app. The app was used for the last 8 years. The last 6 or 7 rounds I was having issues with my irons, almost every other shot would register. I don't have time to be messing with my phone while playing in a group. This leads me to Arccos. I don't mind my phone being in my pocket because I have been doing that anyways, and now not having to tap would be even better. Setting up was easy and each tag was identified and ready to go in about 15 minutes. I downloaded the course I was going to play. The phone was in my left pocket when the golfer took out the driver and hit my tee shot. So far, so good. It did this for every club. It was always on and had the right club. Same as putting. Went up set up and putt. No issues. I had to tell my friends not to knock the ball back to me on a "gimme". I wanted to make sure it could record all the shots. I didn't have to "tag" my club, which was a game-changer for me. It picked up my shots and putts. Highly recommended. I have a Note 20 Ultra that started the round with 100% and ended it with 63% battery. I used my watch as well. It ended with 45% battery. I was very happy with my purchase of the app. Feel free to ask questions.
If you have a question, they will do everything they can to help. Honor warranty claims! The package includes a Tactical backpack, a US flag patch, a D-Ring and a MOLLE dominators. If you meet any quality issues with their product, they will either send a new one or give you a full refund.
👤I've been looking at rangefinders for about a month trying to decide if they're really an asset to my golf game. I was considering getting a $200 one but it seemed like an unreasonable risk if I didn't like it or it didn't help my game. I found this one and decided I could do $90 and not feel bad if I didn't like it. I went for it because it has had great reviews so far. I wasn't expecting much out of the $90 golf-range finder, but I've been pleasantly surprised. You cannot beat the price and function. Slope function works well, target accuracy is spot on, and it runs onAAA's, which is a bonus, but it's pricey for a battery. If you've got a tripod, you can get a good read on something beyond 150, but it's always going to be a challenge. It has a 12-month warranty on it, so no matter how you look at it, it is worth a try. I had it for a year. This things has been great, but still haven't upgraded. If you're thinking about getting a golf accessory, I suggest you get this one. For $90 you can see if it helps your game, and if it helps you make a decision. I didn't have to break the bank to do it because this has helped my game more than I expected. Great product! It's worth trying out. You can't go wrong with a golf rangefinder that works at this price range.
👤I am a golfer. I have been using this for about 3 weeks now and am very satisfied with it's performance. I use a hip gps and it is very close to spot on. The buttons are easy to use and the manual is easy to follow. I'm attaching two images from my phone that don't show up in use. The pin seek feature is great. I'm not sure if the slope feature exists, but I believe it's necessary for tournaments. I will update this review if it does. Mode 1 is the one you can use if you need to. I am very happy with this. It has exceeded my expectations. I wanted to provide a real review because a few of the reviews seem a little shady. 100% would purchase it again or as a gift for someone. The construction is solid and it has a great feature. It is easy to use with sunglasses and the focus is easy to adjust with the rotating ring around the viewport. I don't know if it has a low battery alert on the display, but it could be added in the next revision. I wish it could take a distance with just one button push, but I think the first press is to wake it up, so no real worries here.
👤The product is better than expected and there are a few things that can be improved. I was surprised to find a range finder with a slope calculation feature. I compared the accuracy of the range finder to the one I have. They are almost the same distance from 100 yards. I haven't tested for more than 100 yards yet. I'll do that in the weekend. There are two things I didn't like about this product. 1. Yardage numbers, slope and so on are displayed inside the scope if you adjust focus. I thought it was odd. Other range finders didn't do that. The display would be better if it was less vivid. 2. You have to press down on the buttons. Maybe I'm used to the fact that you don't have to press down hard. I'm happy with this product so far, more testings will be coming soon. It doesn't feel cheap. I will increase my rating to 5 star if it's more accurate than 100 yards. I bought a new model. The previous model was better. The accuracy is very good. The Pin-seeker technology has a better function. When it senses the pin, it vibrates. I'm increasing it to 5 stars.
If you're not happy with their products, you can contact them and they'll give you a full refund or a new one. Slope adjusted distance is calculated from the angle of incline anddecline and the elevation changes that are accounted for. The range of their golf rangefinders is up to 1000 yards with a range of 1 yard accuracy and even measure in both yards and meters. Pin-locking technology is used. Their laser measure with Pin Acquisition Technology allows you to lock onto a pin up to 300 yards away. When the laser locks onto the pin, the range finder will emit a short vibrating burst to confirm you have the correct distance. The External Slope On/Off switch is legal for tournament play. The hard carry case has carabiner and elastic band.
👤So far, so good! The slope feature is easy to use, accurate, and it is nice that I don't have to guess how the slope is affecting the distance. It saved me from overshooting because I think there is slope too. Only used for one round so will be updated in the future. My friend gave me his old bushnell at the end of last summer, and it was unreliable in warm weather, and it was at least five years old. The callaways are twice as much as the bourgens. I decided to go with the less expensive callaway because it has great customer service and the product had a lot of positive reviews. Quality is good. Two years ago, I tried a Japanese brand. You never know what you will get from the cheapest brands. I wouldn't go for Bushnell unless you don't use money in your calculations. Hope this helps, happy golfing!
👤This product was diassapointed. I compared the system to other players and found it to be very inaccurate, with only 50% accuracy on the first two shots. I regretfully saved $150 and now have an expensive paperweight.
👤After two rounds of golf, it started to go bad. The battery is quick. The tech put a note on the unit when I sent it back, that it worked. He gave me a different unit than the one I sent. Not sure why? I bought a range finder that works from Leopold.
👤I have never used or bought a rangefinder before. Very impressed with the simplicity of this device. The button is easy to use. If you press it once, it will do a 3 second Scan and you just have to move the aiming square back and forth across the flag pin. It's to EZ! The strap on the side is nice as well. Drop and break it is the last thing you want to do. The magnet is great! Strong magnet and mounts firmly. The case that it comes in is fantastic. The Callaway logo on the outside zips up and has a D clip on the outside to connect to your golf bag. The display on the outside is nice. Callaway did a great job with this product. It doesn't seem cheap. I am very satisfied with this and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice quality rangefinder that is easy to use.
👤After about 8 years of use, my Bushnell V2 stopped working. The price of a new Bushnell was not justified. Amazon said it would be delivered in 7 days, but it was only 2 days after ordering. I've used it for 2 rounds. It was more difficult to get a reading with the Bushnell. It might be just a matter of getting used to the new unit. I seem to be getting better at getting my readings. I am still taking readings to make sure I get the pin and not the background. I am happy with my purchase and comfortable with the unit. Good value for money.
Daylight readable color display: The technology behind the screen of G3 means it is clearly visible even in the bright and sunny environment. V-Algorithm is an Automatic Slope Calculation. The data isIndicated with a map. The course layout view shows the yards to hazard and bunkers. The screen has a color touch screen and a green view. Pin placement can be changed with a Directional Arrow. The components were included. User manual for charging cable.
👤I used the approach Z10 before getting this watch. First of all, the score keeping is pretty impressive, the swing tempo feature is a nice feature, and the shot distance is a definite plus. The green elevation features are not detailed enough to give a general elevation difference. The flag and ball positions are a plus. The maps on this watch are not as accurate as the ones on the Garmin. Over hazard information is not present on the maps. This is still happening after you download the maps through the app. My home course is in Yountville. I used this watch at several places. I chose this watch for the green reading and score keeping. I will use my watch for score keeping and training, but still need to use my gps device for hazards. Voice Caddy might be able to get more accurate US golf courses.
👤Just turn it on! There is no need for measuring or second guessing.
Approach S60 has a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel and interchangeable Quick Fit bands, while the large 1. 3” color touchscreen display has a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel and interchangeable Quick Fit bands. There are more than 41, 000 full-color maps. Virtual Caddie suggests a club based on typical distance, wind speed and direction, and where the golfer should aim on the map. You can quickly scroll through the map with Hazard View. The PlaysLike Distance feature accounts for uphill and downhill shots. The PinPointer feature tells you the direction to the pin even if you can't see it. The green view feature allows manual pin positioning, as well as distances to the front, middle and back of the green.
👤I jumped right to this after skipping the S60 and the Approach S6. First and foremost, the watch is very good. A huge display helps to see all the details on a hole. There is a great visibility in the sunlight. It's based on current weather and windspeed and will give you a "plays like" distance. For tournament play, this can be disabled. You can find distances to every hazard by clicking. When on the hole. Pin point flag placement on the green is very easy. Hit your shot, pick your club and move on. You can see your entire round and club distances on a 2D course map. The club tracking set can be used for automatic tracking. The caddie can recommend clubs based on your previous performance after 5 rounds. The swing tempo training aid worked well for me in the previous S6. HR sensor, running, and biking are included. Up to 20 hours with a golf gps on and 14 days without. My S6 and S60 were taken away by this. The only way to update is through the app, as a PC is no longer required. Update 2/25. Adding photos of the golf app after a round is incredible. If I could add another star, I would.
👤This watch does it all. It tracks every shot I take. It keeps a record of the exact location, distance, and direction of every shot I take. You can see the round, club distances, club direction, and other performance metrics when you sync to Garmin. At the 9th hole at my local course, I came up short of the green in over half of the time. It is uphill. I didn't have enough club to get there. The "plays like" feature gives you the distance to the pin adjusted for the slope, wind, and other factors. You can see how far away it is. It can be a bit difficult to get the exact distance using your finger to target an exact spot on the screen's map. It takes a few seconds to slide the target. There are other cool non-golf features, such as weather, wind speed and direction, Sunrise and sunset, Heart rate, and steps.
👤The benefits of the S60 and S40 were merged by Garmin. You can now have the best of everything. You can have fun with distances, battery life and easy to navigate hazard list. This watch is important to me and I would buy it if it was important to you. The s60 was my watch for two years and I stayed with it because of the "plays like" distance. It is important for me to factor in elevation when I play, but this watch's scruple feature was implemented badly, requiring too many button pushes and making finding distances very hit or miss. I was happy, but always wanted more. We ate lunch on the golf trips and had to turn it off at the end of 18. Didn't. My review of the s62 is here. The face is slightly lager. The ads say 17 percent more face area, which is good, but the s60 seemed too small to look at the hole view. Is the s62 bigger? The real benefit is that it is more readable in the sun. The better the sun is, the easier it is to read. I like it so much, it's a winner. I downloaded a free blue face from the poor man's watch store. It looks good in watch mode, and I was able to modify he information. There is a good reason to buy this watch on its own. It's crazy. I only got 1 and a half rounds on the s60, but I get 3 full rounds and some on this watch. It's good. It's 25 percent per 18. I put it back on the charge at 25 percent, but could probably get another round out of it. Time to organize SATs is much better here. This is quicker than waiting for the s60 to find them. I didn't know how good it was to find it so quickly. I wouldn't want to go back. Could this be any better than before? Yes. You get wind of this watch when you open the golf app and sit in the cart. Direction and speed. I factor it in with my human brain, and it helps me to know its 10 mph off the left quartering. There is a Hazard List. My friend has the s40, which is still better. You move through that list of dangers. I hated that s60 didn't have squat. It was difficult to get to the water. I'll take s62. The map will default to the nearest Bunker if you touch it, but there are interactive buttons in the face. You cycle through the nearest hazard. Does it work? Yes. Is it better than s60? No question. I find it odd but it works. It finds the water on my 11th hole and gives me distance to rough? To clear, edge to front and edge to back. It does a better job knowing that I am starting on the 10th hold, and it's noticeably better than my old watch finding it automatically. I like this better. It's not as easy to move it to a different hole as it was before, and you have to do a few things to do it. The s62 needs to access a Change Hold menu and then cycle through the numbers. It works. It's fine. It won't bother you if you didn't have the s60 or s40 It's quibbling if you did, but you don't have to do much. The heart rate is boom. This is great. If only I could figure out why it reads 20 beats higher than my Apple Watch, it would be nice. Is it pulse 2? It's also cool now. You have to stand still for a half minute or so to access the widgets and start reading. And you have it. It's nice. It's odd, but the Golf App states (strokes gained driving, approach, chipping) is a nice feature, as is the stat by course. Without having to input anything. I'm hitting 67 percent of the fairways, as good as DeChambeau, but more than 80 yards shorter. The price is what's bad. It's not terrible because you get a lot of other health activity data. There is a secondary market for the s60 on auction sites, and I got $200 for my s60, which I found to be worth it. It made sense to bring the cost down on the s62 because it will probably be replaceable in two years. Over the years, I've had 4 different golf watches. If you prefer the watch to the phone style devices or lasers, this watch has the best features out there at the moment. The price of Tag Heuer is less than 1500 bucks. Skycaddie has a subscription option, but it's mostly used for e-liquid. I recommend this to the serious golfer who wants things like steps, stairs, flights, heart rate, and pulze ox.
