👤This watch is great for golfing. I ordered the sensors that go on the clubs. When you turn on the golfing function, the watch will find you on the course, and if it is coupled with the sensors, it will recognize the club you are using. You have to let the watch know what club you are using if you don't have the sensors. The watch knows when you pick up the club, so it's very easy to do. Let the watch know when each hole is over. The garmin website and phone have the stats. I like this watch.

👤Don't buy any other GolfGPS watch. The S62 is worth it. It can take a little while to get used to how it works, but I had the hang of it after 6 or 7 holes. I got it in combination with the censors to record the club. I haven't reached the required 5 rounds played yet, but the Caddy feature was a great aid around the course. The feedback that it gives after a round in the app is very good. I learned a lot from the first round analysis. Changes to your game can help you lower your score. I am very pleased with it so far. It feels light on the wrist and the strap is flexible. It fits over the top of your golf glove. I had to check that I still had it on my wrist. I used to play with the Apple watch, and I always took it off as it got in the way of the glove and swing.

👤I was pleasantly surprised by the capabilities of the S62 watch. The health and fitness tracking features are easy to use. Pick from many available options to modify the watch dial. You forget that it is a great golf tool. You can either use the club sensors to track your shot or just show the yardage. It will help you improve your game by having an accurate review of your approach shot. It seems to be very accurate on the yardage, the battery life is excellent. This will help you with your game.

👤Love the larger face. It is more complete and useful for health tracking. It was a good step up from the S60 I had for the last 3 years. I don't have to enter a club every time because I love the CT-10 club tracker.

👤The watch lets you add the second nine at the start, and it's quick to find the satellites. The distance measurement after each shot is helpful. The price is the only thing that's not accurate.

👤The watch would work for the first few holes. Hole recognition failed and I was always on hole 6. The cost of returning a faulty watch was on me, so I returned it. Not what I was expecting.

👤This watch is not good. My heart rate is 80 in the gym and 125 on the couch, according to my heart monitor. Total garbage.

👤A bit about me. I've owned several older watches from other companies, including the Forerunner 235, Fenix 3 and Fenix 5X. I bike indoors 1-2x per week and run 25-35 miles a week. Stryd Live footpod 4 is what I use. I sync my data to Strava and it has been a great watch. It's a huge watch with a lot of great features, but I didn't use it all. It doesn't have music, which I really wanted. I don't like carrying around my phone while running so the idea of a watch that had that feature was appealing. - I wasn't ready to pay over $600 for the music feature. I was looking at the Forerunner , but it was expensive, and the Vivoactive 3 is not a pure running watch. The Forerunner 245 Music was released in May of 2019. The screen is Gorilla Glass 3, which is less likely to scratch than some older Forerunners, and it's lightweight and barely noticeable on my wrist. You can load pre-designed courses, workouts, and training plans. I like the fact that the 245 can hold 500 songs and can be used with Deezer and other music services. I decided to downsize from the extremely large and heavy Fenix 5X to this watch. I don't regret the decision, but I would like the size of the Forerunners to be somewhere in between. If you're not running ultras, the battery life for this watch is fine. I'd be willing to give up a little weight in exchange for a bigger battery to keep this one going longer between charges. The barometric altimeter is not a must have for me in Florida, but it allows me to measure elevation and stairs climbed, which may be less accurate than using a gps device. I haven't experienced this when running, but it did start to cut in and out while I was walking. My assumption is that this happens because the antenna on the watch is too far away from my ears when I'm walking, as opposed to closer to my chest when I'm running. 99% of the time, I'll be running while listening to music. I have read that one solution is to make sure the watch is on the same side of your body as the antenna for your headset. If you're having the same issue, you might want to try that. I continue to like this watch and my overall rating hasn't changed. I've found it to be very accurate when running and the battery life is holding strong. I have not scratched it since I bought it. If you're like most people and have a Prime membership, you'll love the added Amazon Music support to the watch. I had an issue with my heart rate reading while riding my indoor bike. My heart rate reading will be below my actual heart rate and won't budge much after that. I'm hoping that they come up with a solution soon. The Mpow Flame2 is a good pair of headphones. They maintain strong connection while running.

3. Garmin Smartwatch Lightweight Touchscreen 010 02572 11

When you download the golf app on a compatible phone, you will get live scoring, automatic scorecard uploads, and a single place to review all your statistics. Up to 10 days in watch mode and up to 15 hours in gps mode.

👤I'm a professional caddie and need a reliable, accurate gps watch which doesn't go wrong during my loop. This is the most accurate golf gps watch I've owned, but it has some annoying quirks. Here's my list of attributes of the Approach S42. The Approach S42 is the most accurate of all the watches I've ever used. I've compared yardages to both sprinkler head and laser readings, and it's dead on. It's helpful when I'm caddying at a place other than my home course for a USGA tournament. I can make notes in my book when I'm playing a practice round. 2. I'm able to caddie for 36 consecutive holes and still have plenty of battery charge left. 3. The graphics are razor sharp and the readout is visible in every light condition. 4. The watch band fits over a shirt, pullover, and rain jacket. CON: 1. Initial Set-Up was very painful. The instruction manual lacks detail and is not well-written. 2. If you set the watch to lock screen all the time, it won't work during a rainy golf round. When I wear my rain jacket, the gps signal is blocked, and it starts showing weird screens, like a close-up of the green when I'm still 200 yards out. I have a lot of time to get the watch to go back to the regular screen. When I wear it outside of my jacket, the rain causes the touchscreen to change. I have to set the watch to automatically lock during the round, which makes it slow to display yardages to hazards, but that doesn't matter much as I explain below. 3. I don't like the way this watch shows distances to hazards on adjacent fairways which aren't in play. I've stopped using this feature because I use my yardage book and laser sight on my home course. 4. I would like to see the time on the screen during the round. It's hard to switch screens when I need to see how our group is playing. Sometimes when I switch to another screen, it won't go back to the regular screen. 5. The linkage with my computer and mobile phone was erratic, with the random display of text message or email alert sometimes, and nothing 5 minutes later. I have noticed an improvement after I switched to a higher-end phone. This isn't an essential feature for me. If there was a way to have this watch's amazing accuracy, easily-readable face, and comfortable band without all of the not-so-helpful features, I would be a happy caddie. Also, note: I've owned lower-end models of golf gps watches, and they've lacked the accuracy of this model. I'm willing to put up with the quirks because precise yardages are more important than anything else to me.

👤This is the first time I've looked at a golf distance. The square watches are very stylish. I decided on the G42. The feature where it shows the distance of your drive is something I really like. My golf game has been helped by the front middle back green distance readings. I look at the distance to the front of the green and decide how aggressive I will be with my approach shot. I would rather leave the ball below the hole. Before you start the round, make sure you allow the watch to connect with satellites. I haven't tried any features like step counter. Great investment!

4. Garmin Approach S10 Lightweight 010 02028 02

Garmin Approach S10 Lightweight 010 02028 02

Brand: Garmin

👤In the past I have owned two golf watches from the same brand, both of which had the plastic crystal covering the display fall out after a year and were lost somewhere on the course. I needed to purchase another golf watch after the second one and I decided to use the S10 because the quality of the Bushnell was a problem. I'm glad I did. This watch is very slim and lightweight and it's rectangular shape is less intrusive than I would think since I wear it on my glove hand... It seems to me that it is better built than the Bushnell's I have owned. I don't need a fancy watch, just one that gives the proper distances to both the green and the hazard, and has good battery life. I don't use the scoring option. I don't use the app to upload my scores. The watch gives accurate distances and advances to the next hole. I noticed that when I finish the first hole, I forget to start the watch. I was forced to advance the watch to the correct hole by the Bushnell, but this Garmin immediately recognized what hole I was on and didn't need to adjust... I believe that the gps system is more accurate than other watches. The only downside is that it takes a little more time for the gps to come up and recognize the course I am at. I just set it to start the round a little earlier than I did with my Bushnell, because it is not much more time. If you want a golf watch that is lightweight, easy to wear, and doesn't need all the bells and whistles, this is the watch for you.

👤If the cheap, flimsy watch band on this otherwise nice watch breaks, you can get an aftermarket replacement by searching for "Forerunner 35". The band on the Approach S10 is the same band as the one on the fitness watch. Why does it matter? You can find replacement bands for less than $10 on Amazon. If you can get it elsewhere cheaper, why pay the absurd price of the device? The original review is below. It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing It's not a good thing Is that true? I like the watch. It's easy to use and tells me what I need. I use it to find out how far to the green and penalty areas it is. It's great for that. The band is my biggest problem with this watch. The band on my watch broke by March. I just used it as I intended. The band is not covered by the warranty. The band is only available from the web site of the company. The band is 1 cent cheaper than the threshold, so they charge $5 to ship it. If I want to keep the watch, I'll have to order 2 bands at a time so they don't screw me on shipping. Nice policy from Garmin. If you don't mind spending $30 a couple of times a year to replace the crappy band, then it's all good. I have had this problem with every watch I've owned. The bands are expensive and hard to get. It would be too much to ask for a regular watch band. I guess so because they couldn't get $30 a year to replace it. If I have to pay $30+ for a replacement band, could I buy one that won't break after a few months? I guess not. I'm tired of the company taking advantage of me. This is my last product. The watch is nice if not for the poor quality watch band. This is how you lose customers.

Brand: Izzo

👤After years of service, my old Garmin S2 was finally giving up the ghost. The headline states that I like this watch. It is accurate. Standing on the marker on the hole in my club, the watch reads 150. There is more information about layups and distance to and over penalty areas. Documentation is a joke, and that's the reason I didn't rate this 5 stars. The package has a quick start guide. A small print. I was able to read it. One must go to the IZZO website for the user guide and low and behold it is a picture on a web page. You can blow it up to make it readable. How much is it to make a PDF download? Oh my gosh! IZZO recommends doing a course update before doing a firmware update. The software is a little difficult to use. I charged ahead and did a course update, even though I wasn't sure if the firmware update worked. The latest versions of these are not on the watch that I believe is a new product. -- It can take a bit of time to get a gps lock at the course, which is definitely longer than my old gps. The watch works well and gives me more information than my previous watch. I haven't tried the fitness or scoring options, so I can't speak to that. The battery life and charging time was amazing. On a typical 18 hole day, it finishes with 3 bars. When I get home and charge it, it shows battery strength of 70% to 77% and it charges to 100% in 15 minutes. The Garmin S2 would take many hours to charge, with 20% left. I recommend this watch at this price point. Hope you can read this far. The watch lasted less than two years. I bought 1/2020. Work stopped this morning. It picks up the satellite, but does not list any golf courses. No use now. I found out this morning on the golf course, and it made me even more annoyed. I'm going to spend more for a navigation device. Hopefully it will last longer. It did work for 20 months and was re-rated to a 3.

👤The gps was received on 5/23/21 The brand new golf gps does not fully charge as reported by another person. I had it for 16 hours. Within a few hours, it was up to 80%. After several more hours, the charge didn't increase. I disconnected and reconnected the charge and it bounced between 81% and 84%. I'll see how it performs tomorrow. The buttons are sticky. I will update after I take it on the course. I am disappointed so far. I used it during play. The indicator dropped after the 4th hole. The gps worked well throughout the round. Yardage was off by 5 - 10 yards on a few holes as compared to my phone and a friend's. The auto advance worked well. It appeared to periodically update the yardage rather than continuously. At times it was noticeable. I would have to look many times to get the final number. Maybe it saves on battery life. There was no hazard info on some holes. I don't know if that is a rare item or a common missing data item. Time will tell. I will update in a few days and decide if I will return or exchange. I have not heard from the manufacturer. 5/26: While charging for almost two full day days, the gps never fully charged maxing out at 81%. The indicator showed that it was charging. I used it again today. The power indicator was almost empty by the time I left the parking lot, and I play fast. There was no hazard information on a lot of the holes. I'm letting it discharge before I charge it again. It is possible that doing so will reset the battery. I will send the unit back to Amazon if not. There is still nothing from the manufacturer. I tried another unit after processing an exchange with Amazon. It only cost 81%. I took it and the older one to the course today. The replacement unit is terrible. The buttons do not work. I hold them and nothing. The buttons on the unit don't work after I reset it several times. The problem was that they started us on the 10th hole. I will return it soon. It's a shame. They seem to be well designed, but the manufacturing and quality control kill it. I don't know what to say. I kept the original one after returning the faulty one. I took the suggestion of another poster and removed the unit from the charging port once it reached 81%. When I play a round of golf, the unit reports fully charged at least halfway through. It seems to be worth trying. I hope it lasts.

6. CANMORE TW 353 GPS Golf Watch

CANMORE TW 353 GPS Golf Watch

The wristband is soft and lightweight so it won't throw off your stroke. The display is easy to read in bright sunlight. Customer service is industry-leading and there is a 1 year warranty.

Brand: Canmore

👤I used this watch to play four rounds on three different courses. Most of us duffers will not be affected by the difference in the yardage between the courses and the devices used by others. The sad part. The watch didn't want to switch between military and civilian displays. In one outing, two rounds were scored and recorded between them. After a couple of weeks, customer support provided a software update with instructions for download to the watch, but with the caveat that this may cause all scores to be erased. Wishing you use the new software well with your watches that were purchased before 7/25. The buttons used to select functions were often stubborn and needed several pushes to get a response. I think the software for the product was released with unresolved errors. Two stars are for the gps and yardage, which seems to work well. I will look for another brand.

👤I only use this on the one course I am a member of. It should work because it lists a lot of familiar area courses. It is comfortable to wear. It seems to be correct according to the marker. It is easy to read. I have used it for a long time. I haven't used the score card yet because I haven't had time to work with it. I have to remember to start the search sooner than when I reach the 1st hole because it takes longer to locate the course.

👤I bought this for my husband so he could use it at the golf tournament. He likes the watch. He shared how good it was with his golf buddies, because it did what it was supposed to. Some people said they might get on, based on his review. He liked the way it looked.

👤I like the look of the watch and it's comfortable. I now see why it's so cheap. It takes a long time to find a course and will hold up your game, so be sure to start the search well before you start. I've tried to play about 5 rounds of golf with this watch and it didn't work. The watch works in the beginning, but then it stops working. It showed 754 yard to the next hole. Wow... It's ridiculous. By the time you search for courses, your round could be over. Skip this one.

👤I received aGPS golf watch earlier this week after using another brand for a number of years and it was starting to degrade in the display. The Canmore TW-353GPS Golf Watch is easy to use and simplistic in design. The display is bright and easy to read. The distances seem to be accurate when compared to those used by other golf players. The watch colors are easy to see.

👤Older people like to see the numbers. I like the contrast between the white numbers and the black background, but I don't like the fact that you have to send off the files for updates and they might get corrupted. I would prefer a website where I could download updates when I wanted to. The device seems to work well at this price point. I don't like the update steps. I don't know when I'm supposed to ask for updates to the courses. We would know when to reach out to them if they sent out an update schedule.

👤It makes looking for distance much easier.

👤I can see the distance to the green with my GolfBuddy on my wrist. The band is light and easy to use.

👤It's easy to attach Golf buddy to watch band.

👤This does the job, but with the golf buddy in place it is very big and bulky. I attach it to a belt loop if I have the option.

👤I have a wristband for my golf buddy gps.

Brand: Turnwin

👤Don't buy if you're warned. A new bar is not included in the watch band replacement package. The bar/tube screws are not included in the replacement band package. Before you discard the old band, be sure to remove the hollow bar from the ends of it. The replacement band fit perfectly.

👤The screw on the other side of the band made the rod turn and I couldn't get the screw to loosen. I was able to screw one of the screws back into the rod after I put the band over it. I hope it holds together. I like the band Pink. The package should have 2 little screw drivers in it.

👤The product was described as being able to be reversed. A piece of the band got torn rendering the buckle useless when I tried to reverse it. It is difficult to reverse the buckle. The color should be used as set up. Good product. Don't lose the tiny screws that are used to affix the band.

👤The straps fit well but it was difficult to get the bars off the old watch with the instrument that was provided. The set should include the 2 bars. It was better to go through the difficulty than to spend money on a replacement.

👤The wrist band is held in place by a small tab. The gps still worked perfectly, but the wrist band was flapping around my wrist. I was very happy to find this replacement band. It was easy to install. I have a new gps.

👤The tool only removed one screw and stripped the others. I took it to a jewelers and they were able to replace the band with a different tool. I paid the fee that I was charged.

👤It's easy to put on and it looks great. The screw should be in metal tubes. This band is not with them. My watch is brand new.

👤The color of the band was great. I used 1 Star because of that. There is no way to hold the band to my watch. There was nothing inside the screw part. I got out the door when the band popped off. Don't bother with these bands. I'm hoping to find a 22mm that works.

👤I bought this band for my Neo Ion and it is better than the original. It seems stronger and thicker. Darker color. It won't look dirty.

9. CANMORE Golf Watch Black TW 410G

CANMORE Golf Watch Black TW 410G

The wristband is soft and lightweight so it won't throw off your stroke. The display is easy to read in bright sunlight. Customer service is industry-leading and there is a 1 year warranty.

Brand: Canmore

👤I gave my husband a golf watch for his birthday since he loves to play golf and has never tried a GolfGPS watch before. I got him a watch that is just right on my budget and also has all the functions and designs that I like, he likes it. He was excited to share that the gps golf watch works great after trying it out at the course. It has just provided course data that comes with it and can download new data from the PC, so easy. The battery life was showing up as advertised. After 18 holes, the watch was fully charged. When starting golf mode with no need to set up, he can just start the game with this watch. The black/white screen on the watch makes it easy to read. The scorecard and shot/ hazard distance measurement are some of the functions that impress him. It has a Pedometer that can record daily steps. This watch is lightweight, soft, and comfortable when playing. I'm happy that he likes the gift, just what he needed. I will recommend it to my friends.

👤This is a good alternative to the more expensive watches. It is a good looking watch, wears well, and generally is a nice piece. The battery can be re- charged by connecting the charging cord. The display is nice, it is easy to read, and the distances are spot on, compared to another app I have and the cart I was riding in. Once you get used to the buttons, it's not too difficult. There are a couple of annoying things. Plug it in to charge, power itoff, and other things when I use the watch. The time changes back and forth, which is very annoying. There are two Touch screen is a great idea, but it's kind of a pain to have to push buttons to enter each menu of the watch. The first outing took a long time to load, but will see how the next one goes. Overall, a pretty nice watch... I might update this later after some more use.

👤The golf watch I brought was before the coronaviruses outbreak. It's a handy tool when golfing with friends. I sweat a lot when golfing. If a cheap plastic material makes a watch, I felt a stab in the wrist. I wear this Canmore for a day of golfing. The wristband is not bad for me. Over 38,000 golf course data is claimed by the watch. I thought the course data was fixed. I found that they allow me to download new course data besides the 38,000 that was pre-installed. The data can be uploaded to the watch via theusb cord. It took around 30 to 40 seconds. The watch is helpful when trying to get to the green. I'm kind of tired and sick to bring a range finder to the course. The cost-performance ratio is high for this watch.

👤I have owned two Canmore watches. The first model was less expensive and did not measure steps. The model has a great battery life and can get 3 rounds out a charge. I have always found the course I played with the accurate measurements. The steps are accurately measured by the pedometer. Great watch for money.

Brand: Tectectec

👤I bought this because I wanted to leave for Florida for the winter months. It is a basic watch with a front, middle and back range. Pre-ordered. I used my range finder to compare it to my watches. I compared this watch to other people's watches and found it to be spot on. It is very easy to lock in the satellites. A great buy. I use it everyday.

👤I used my ULT-G for two rounds after I received it. The easiest to use device is my third golf range finder. It is easy to provide distances. I have a laser golf range finder. The distances shown on the Golf watch are very accurate, thanks to the laser range finder. I use a Neo Ghost as well. I like the ULT-G golf watch more than my Neo Ghost as I don't have to misplace my pockets to look for the watch and it provides readings faster. The three devices all have the same distances. The range finder is easy to use and has a ready availability on my wrist that will make it my go to device for golf range finding.

👤The watch does everything promised when it is working correctly. When you have a technical issue like my photo shows, and you try to contact their technical support or customer service, you may be disappointed in their handling. I was able to get a refund after several calls to Amazon Customer Service. I left the email response and the follow up with TecTecTec, it was unacceptable. I like the product, but their customer service has made me rethink my investment in it. I don't know if this is a typical incident or an isolated one.

👤The first 9 holes were played using the watch. The app is simple to use and seems to be an accurate comparison to the SwingU app on my phone. It took me a long time to find the course I was on. I played 2.5 holes before it linked up. I'm playing 18 on Sunday and Monday. Will update after that, it seems to find the courses better than the first time I used it. I wish it didn't have a few features, for example keeping score, but it is meant to be a simple, straight forward gps. When my software became unresponsive, tectec support sent a firmware update and it worked again in a few moments.

👤I wrote a review of the golfGPS watch in October. The instructions were easy to follow and the watch was operational in a few minutes. I've been using it twice now. Even in the bright sunlight, readouts are clear. It calculates the distances and automatically loads golf courses near me. I have a range finder and a gps device, and all of them were within 1 yard of each other. The watch is comfortable to wear, less awkward to handle than the other devices, and seems to be very durable, which is a plus. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks to TecTec. There is an update. My watch stopped working. Within an hour, customer support answered my email. I was given instructions on how to reset the watch by a nice person named Isabella, but he didn't resolve the issue so I had to return the watch. As well as being knowledgeable of her product, she was clear, concise, and professional. I am confident that I will be as happy with my new watch as I was with the original. Thank you, and thank you, TecTec. Bill Brown was a very satisfied customer.

The battery life can be up to 15 hours in the gps mode.

👤I bought this for my wife. I use the Arccos app. My wife wanted something similar. It doesn't do a good job of picking up your swing. It's hard to use. There aren't any clear instructions or how to videos on the internet, and you have to spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. So basically your left is messing with the golf course you paid for. The battery life is not good. The things that are supposed to count steps are useless as they don't use any actual sensors to determine if you really walk like a pedometer. I don't find it to be of much use on the golf course, though they have a lot of great reviews for being a neat "gadget". A lot of phone apps are cheaper and do the same thing. Its not worth the money.

👤My 7 year old pooped out. This one was a replacement. The click face is difficult to see in bright sun, but it is nice looking. The old large digital time face was preferred. There are so many aspects of this watch that you can tie in to your phone system. It is trying to be everything to everyone. I like a watch that is easy to use. I always feel like I'm on a quest to find what I want. I get different distances than golf course markers. The old watch seemed to be more accurate.

👤I use this watch about 3 times a week for 9 holes and sometines. After a few months, the watch wouldn't charge and got hot. I received a shipment label to return for a new one. They let me know that they received it and will send a replacement. A new one will be sent out soon.

👤This was delivered on June 27. The display froze halfway through the round. It wouldn't stop. The distance could be as little as 10 yards. I bought a golf buddy for a third of the price. I used it for the first time on the day it froze. Customer service is notexistent. Two emails were not answered. It is a lot of money for an unreliable product. Get a golf buddy and save your money.

👤1. It is impossible to charge the back of the watch. 2. It took 15 minutes to grab course from satellites. The settingbounced around 4 on the course. The watches wouldn't show the distance to the green.

👤This was very difficult to use. I haven't figured it out yet. Batterie life is not good. It's good for about 1.5 rounds. My fiancée's gps device lasts him several rounds. No instructions of any kind. Are we suppose to know how to do it? I tried online, but it wasn't very helpful. Some instructions on any kind would be helpful.

👤I absolutely adore this watch. I believe it has helped my golf game. It helps me track my performance with my clubs. I can wear it on and off of the course. I didn't know that I can text on this watch. I love it more.
