Brand: Garmin

👤I'm a professional caddie and need a reliable, accurate gps watch which doesn't go wrong during my loop. This is the most accurate golf gps watch I've owned, but it has some annoying quirks. Here's my list of attributes of the Approach S42. The Approach S42 is the most accurate of all the watches I've ever used. I've compared yardages to both sprinkler head and laser readings, and it's dead on. It's helpful when I'm caddying at a place other than my home course for a USGA tournament. I can make notes in my book when I'm playing a practice round. 2. I'm able to caddie for 36 consecutive holes and still have plenty of battery charge left. 3. The graphics are razor sharp and the readout is visible in every light condition. 4. The watch band fits over a shirt, pullover, and rain jacket. CON: 1. Initial Set-Up was very painful. The instruction manual lacks detail and is not well-written. 2. If you set the watch to lock screen all the time, it won't work during a rainy golf round. When I wear my rain jacket, the gps signal is blocked, and it starts showing weird screens, like a close-up of the green when I'm still 200 yards out. I have a lot of time to get the watch to go back to the regular screen. When I wear it outside of my jacket, the rain causes the touchscreen to change. I have to set the watch to automatically lock during the round, which makes it slow to display yardages to hazards, but that doesn't matter much as I explain below. 3. I don't like the way this watch shows distances to hazards on adjacent fairways which aren't in play. I've stopped using this feature because I use my yardage book and laser sight on my home course. 4. I would like to see the time on the screen during the round. It's hard to switch screens when I need to see how our group is playing. Sometimes when I switch to another screen, it won't go back to the regular screen. 5. The linkage with my computer and mobile phone was erratic, with the random display of text message or email alert sometimes, and nothing 5 minutes later. I have noticed an improvement after I switched to a higher-end phone. This isn't an essential feature for me. If there was a way to have this watch's amazing accuracy, easily-readable face, and comfortable band without all of the not-so-helpful features, I would be a happy caddie. Also, note: I've owned lower-end models of golf gps watches, and they've lacked the accuracy of this model. I'm willing to put up with the quirks because precise yardages are more important than anything else to me.

👤This is the first time I've looked at a golf distance. The square watches are very stylish. I decided on the G42. The feature where it shows the distance of your drive is something I really like. My golf game has been helped by the front middle back green distance readings. I look at the distance to the front of the green and decide how aggressive I will be with my approach shot. I would rather leave the ball below the hole. Before you start the round, make sure you allow the watch to connect with satellites. I haven't tried any features like step counter. Great investment!

2. Garmin Approach Rangefinder Preloaded 010 02555 00

Garmin Approach Rangefinder Preloaded 010 02555 00

The display shows the shape of the green. The ApproachCT10 club tracking sensors can be used with a compatible phone to make automatic game tracking and uploads to the golf app. Even in the rain, the device is water resistant. Up to 30 hours of battery life can be delivered in theGPS mode.

Brand: Garmin

👤The gps does everything it's supposed to. It's an easy product to use. I didn't give 5 stars because I purchased this to clip onto the bill of my hat, not wanting to carry it in my pocket or clip onto my belt, for risk of damaging my belt. If you clip to the bill of your hat, be careful. My hat fell off. I found it missing on the next hole and returned to the previous hole where it was. It's dicey to find a place to clip on. I was able to clip it to the back strap of my hat, where it is readily available.

👤I've used it on the golf course at two different courses. The device is easy to read and I don't need reading glasses to read it. It is black and white. I live in Arizona. I was able to find all of my local courses in the catalogue which was easy to load on to the device. It takes a minute or two before it locates the satellites, but once it does, the numbers calculate and show quickly. The device is not as precise as the finders, but if you know the pin placement, it is accurate. I am an intermediate golfer so I want to be in the center of most greens. It tells you how far away the intermediate dangers are from where you are. The shot measurement feature is easy to find in the menu. I am very satisfied so far.

👤I only used it once, but it's awesome. I like it. It is very easy to use. It can't lose the special charge, but it takes it.

👤It's easy to see the distance to the green. A light weight holds a charge for a long time. If you hit a really good drive, you can take a few extra minutes to track your distance.

👤There are too many steps to start shooting on each hole. It should be easy to push one button. It requires multiple button clicks to start the shot.

👤It works well for how I use it. The battery life is good. The battery meter shows no usage after a round. It is easy to read and enter my scores. I don't know if I'd trust the clip on my belt or any other clothing, I leave it attached to my push cart.

👤You would think that they would use a normal microusb, but they did it with a ridiculous accessory that makes it hard for you to charge it anywhere. Who do they think they are?

👤It was a waste of time.

👤I had to return the first one, but they sent me a replacement the same day I returned the defect one. The second one arrived in test mode and was fixed by the people at Garmin. I love it.

👤Excellent battery life, easy to use.

👤Cumple con las especificaciones. No dice en la descripcin.

👤This does what it says it will do. It is easy to carry and use.

3. Arccos Golf Caddie Smart Sensors

Arccos Golf Caddie Smart Sensors

The large, vibrant color display is easy to read and operate. Arccos Caddie is golf's first and only fully-automatic performance tracking system, and has won four-straight Golf Digest Editor's Choice Awards. It has 14 sensors, one for every club in your bag. The Arccos Caddie app is the best golf Caddie. Automatic shot tracking and data capture. The Arccos Caddie Number is the most precise in the game because of the A. I. powered gps range finder that adjusts in real-time for wind, elevation, temperature, humidity and altitude. Caddie Advice that uses A. I. to give you an optimal strategy. You can choose the right club for every shot if you know how far you can hit it. Strokes gained analytic insight to highlight strengths and weaknesses and guide their practices. The first year of membership to the Arccos Caddie app is included.

Brand: Arccos Golf

👤I bought this system after reading a review on the internet. He only used them once or twice. When I received them, they were easy to install and I wanted to try them out so I would get the promised information. I play four times a week. I had 5 rounds in 9 days. I could get the information. Even though I had my phone in my left pocket all the time, the sensors worked. I kept a card to record the round, but a number of shots were missing. Extra shots were recorded. One of the sensors stopped working. After the first two weeks, I found out about that. I liked the idea of my money back warranty being half used up. They sent me one sensor after 4 weeks. It took 10 days to receive the sensor. I went out to play with the system after I received it and 6 more sensors had quit. If I had to replace the sensors every time I played, I would have a real problem and I would let them know. Even though I was past Amazon's 30 day return policy, I was going to return the system. I went out to play and found a lot of missing shots. I don't have the will to test all the sensors again as I know I have at least 3 out. This might be ok for a golfer who plays twice a month and can afford to have a continuous dialog with Arccos and can continually replace sensors for who knows how long until you get fed up and go back to your gps application of choice. If their customer service sucked as bad as their product, I would give them zero stars.

👤Here is my story, I know some people have had issues. I have been using the app. The app was used for the last 8 years. The last 6 or 7 rounds I was having issues with my irons, almost every other shot would register. I don't have time to be messing with my phone while playing in a group. This leads me to Arccos. I don't mind my phone being in my pocket because I have been doing that anyways, and now not having to tap would be even better. Setting up was easy and each tag was identified and ready to go in about 15 minutes. I downloaded the course I was going to play. The phone was in my left pocket when the golfer took out the driver and hit my tee shot. So far, so good. It did this for every club. It was always on and had the right club. Same as putting. Went up set up and putt. No issues. I had to tell my friends not to knock the ball back to me on a "gimme". I wanted to make sure it could record all the shots. I didn't have to "tag" my club, which was a game-changer for me. It picked up my shots and putts. Highly recommended. I have a Note 20 Ultra that started the round with 100% and ended it with 63% battery. I used my watch as well. It ended with 45% battery. I was very happy with my purchase of the app. Feel free to ask questions.

4. Izzo Swami Kiss Golf Rangefinder

Izzo Swami Kiss Golf Rangefinder

The battery can be used for up to two rounds, the heart rate can be increased, and the score can be adjusted. Their golf gps is the most accurate golf gps on the market, it has over 38,000 global course maps, auto course recognition, and individual shot distance measurement for a better golfing experience. The golf range finder has two ways to display distance: front, center and back, or a new, simple mode that only shows distance to the center of the green. The Score Card Tracker is a golf scorecard tracker that has a water-resistant body and a microusb charging port. Their golf distance rangefinder with an easy-to-read external display has a magnetic hold that allows you to mount the laser to any cart frame.

Brand: Izzo

👤Twice so far, I have used it. Both on the same charge. My friend's device is more expensive than my one. I need front, middle and back yardages. It's a plus that the distance is a plus. I can stick it on the post of the cart while riding a golf cart. It shouldn't fall off under normal driving conditions. I attached it to the bottom of one of my fairway metals because I couldn't figure out where to put it. My first Swami was this one. I'll be happy if it lasts as long as my first one. I'm pleased with my Swami so far.

👤There isn't enough light on the readout to be able to read in the sun. Izzo engineer talked to them and they recognized the problem and were working on a display, but it was worthless on the golf coarse.

👤The unit is small and hard to use. It's difficult to see the faint numbers. It needs to be more clear.

👤I like that I can keep it in my pocket.

👤This is the replacement for a Golf Buddy. This one has a bigger screen and is supposed to identify dangers. It does ID dangers, but distances are hit or miss. I don't mean to go by a yard. The Swami read 220 while I stood at the 150 marker. The correct course was loaded up. A player in our group told us we were 150 out. I used it at another course and had no issues. I used it side by side with my Golf Buddy and they read at the same time. There are online updates.

👤The battery does last a round of golf. It is difficult to set it up for play in bright sunshine. The on off button is not protected, so it can be turned on or off just being in your pocket.

👤The golf cart bar has a battery that lasts a long time. I can't see the numbers. The screen isn't bright enough. It is very difficult. I told them what I had written. They called the company I bought my Swami from. So... They do not support their product. I am very disappointed.

👤It was easy to setup. This is a very good product and a good price, I recommend it, it has a long battery life and is very accurate.

👤The golfGPS that fits in your pocket has not only the yardage to the green, but also the water, woods, and Bunker! I can get 3 or 4 rounds of 18 holes.

👤Parties de golf. Pour se rendre Au drapeau, licitations accrue.

👤The screen is hard to see. That is a sticker on the screen, so it looks good in the head. Disappointing.

👤The display was hard to read because I don't play golf with my glasses on.

5. Garmin Approach Stylish Smartwatch Trackers

Garmin Approach Stylish Smartwatch Trackers

The stylish, lightweightGPS golf watch with a sunlight-readable 1. 2” color touchscreen display with metal bezel and quick release bands is easy to change of style or color. There are more than 41, 000 courses from around the world. Some shots, such as chips around the green, may not be tracked because measures and auto-records detected shot distances. The green view feature allows manual pin positioning, as well as distances to the front, middle and back of the green. Tracks everyday activities such as steps and sleep. The battery life can be up to 15 hours in the gps mode.

Brand: Garmin

👤I was pleasantly surprised by how great this is. I've been using a really great mobile app, TheGrint, which I love, but was curious about how this watch might do things that I have to enter in a mobile app. I played one round with this and was amazed at how accurate it was. The display is easy to read in bright sunlight and the layout distances are very easy to use. This is so enjoyable. Buy this!

👤I'm impressed by how good this watch is. I only got the Approach because I saw a good deal on an open box, and it was an older model. I'm happy that my old one is still there. The screen on this is light and comfortable to wear as I play, it is very readable in all lighting. The accuracy is very good, it locks onto the course very quickly, and the battery life is very good. I'm pretty sure I could get 2 rounds of golf from every full charge, since I always seem to charge it before every round anyway. If you use this feature, it will register every shot you take. I think it has picked up at least 85% of my swings during every round, meaning that I've rarely had to add a swing or shot manually. The features of the watch are easy to understand after a few uses. I haven't checked out the golf app yet because it appears to have been upgraded and improved recently. If I had any criticism, it would be to change the menu options on the watch. The Last Shot option should be one of the first options listed when you're playing. I should be able to get to Last Shot before the Scorecard since I won't use it until the hole is completed. A suggestion is more than a criticism. Adding a watch and fitness tracker is a great way to keep track of your fitness. Highly recommended!

👤A review on the listing is not a review on the product. The bundle I bought included the Black S40 and 2 additional attachments. I received a silver S40, but no attachment.

👤The screen would freeze during the photo. The only thing I could do was hold the on button and shut it off. It became a distraction at this point, instead of being a help. I sent it back after it happened.

👤I am very happy with my purchase of theGarmin S40 golf watch. I have been using it for about four months. If I go away for a golf weekend, I only take a watch that looks stylish on or off the course. The battery life is good, can get 2 rounds in with it, but it's easy to charge in between rounds. The battery life is usually good when not on the course. Never fully tested the life. The watch face is cool. I tried to use all of the functions out of the gate, entering which club I hit, recording distances, scoring and putting. I think that takes away from the fun of the sport. I spent a lot of time looking down and not enjoying the round. Give me ranges, and I changed it back to using scoring. I don't carry a laser range finder anymore because I find the ranges accurate. It's nice to have distances to the front and back of the green. The hazard distances are important, you can quickly see the water and Bunkers which help with club selection. The range finder is not pulled out of the bag. The only tip I have is to read the manual. You know how to use some of the features. You can get the information you want if you know the clicks. My friend has the S20 and it seems like it would be easy to use. When you're 10 minutes from the course you will be fine, and I've heard people complain about the 'locating satellites' taking too long to find your course. When you are ready to start the round, you can skip that option if the course is loaded. If you are wondering if you will miss out on the full map of the hole, I can see that concern. I only need that on courses I have never played. The map on the watch would be too small for me. It's getting old. I usually have the yardage book or a free GolfGPS app on the phone, and I'll get my overview of the hole. If you are on the fence, I would suggest you try this watch. You won't be disappointed. I paid for the watch myself and no one paid me to write a review.

6. Bushnell Phantom Golf GPS Blue

Bushnell Phantom Golf GPS Blue

Choose between 11 display languages. The course can be updated with wireless course updates. Play up to 2 rounds before charging. There are 36,000 courses in 30 countries. The interface is easy to use. There are up to four hazard distances per hole. Automatic course recognition.

Brand: Bushnell

👤Writing reviews is not my play since I read them and they influence my decisions, but I suppose that's ok. It's fantastic for a hundred bucks. I took a chance on the manufacturer. The early days of binoculars and their founding are what they do. After reading some of the not so great reviews, trust in this history was the most important factor. I suppose value is always important, and maybe others expect more for their hard earned 100 bucks, but all bundled up neatly into a $100 price point. This isn't going to happen. My rebuttals on the negative points found in other reviews are not so great. 1. The magnet is not bad, but it does not have powers. I use the clip on a side pocket on my trousers and directly onto the cart inner frame without any issues. I can't support the other review claims of failure because the player needs to be aware of the potential dislodging. The idea of the magnet is very interesting. 2. It's made of plastic. It is made of plastic. Everything is made of plastic at this price point. No problem. 3. Again, the object. Okay. You are only on the cart path for a few days. I have not experienced such dislodging of the magnet. Take the unit to your ball position, get your yardage, and pull your club. Attach the unit to the inner cart frame. I don't see what's going on. 4. No, it doesn't give pin placements. With all respect, your game may need perfect yardages. I would question your critical thought process on how a unit for $100 is going to meet your expectations. The unit gives a reasonable accurate distance to front and back. I hope we all agree that when using the scoring clubs, you'd be in a better position to see the pin placement. Is it front, middle, or back? 5. The phone app is terrible. I'm at a loss. I think the app is great. The hole is completely covered. It's sensitive to the landing spot you want to give yardage to. There are all the dangers represented. It keeps you updated on your location. All good in my book. 6. It doesn't account for slopes. It's a hundred bucks for good people. If your home course exceeds the US 113 standard datememe rate, this might not be the best product for your game. You are going to have to pay. This is a small device. The read out is clean. It's easy to see shot distance by club. There are markers that are clean. For a hundred bucks, I'll take the front hazard info and plan accordingly. I'm a 7 all day. I shaved down to 2. I think it's for the person who likes the way things are. The front, middle, and back are shown. Go get it. I did an A/B test against my friends. It was close to 2 yards. That's reasonable for a hundred bucks. Our game requires a lot of effort. I would like to cut down my scoring average. This device allows more opportunities for putting. Maybe I don't have enough for $100. The unit should have a magnetic power source for $100. We should live in a place where all features are available for $100. I have no idea of this world. The device is well worth the hundred bucks for it's reliability and solid data. There is a I have had 2 glasses of wine. Maybe 3. I hope this will benefit. Be well.

7. Garmin Approach CT10 Automatic 010 01994 00

Garmin Approach CT10 Automatic 010 01994 00

Every shot on any club is tracked by the installed sensor. Pairs of compatible golf watches will automatically track every stroke. You can analyze strokes gained and other data from each shot and club. After pulling the club from the bag, you can see the club's statistics on your compatible golf watch. See how far you hit each club, and see the accuracy to the fairway or green.

Brand: Garmin

👤It was a poor choice to take a chance with the mixed reviews. Like many others, worked okay at first. It had many problems that I hoped would be fixed. The watch kept reset in the middle of my round, and the sensors couldn't be read. If they were correct, I would have had these sensors for 90 days and I have more than half a dozen drives over 400 yds, my wedge seems to be most accurate from . The result was disappointing for all aspects of the system. For clarity, I am a huge fan of the company. Can't tell you how many times I used a gps device. I still trust was/ to be my most trusted piece of equipment. I am sorry, but I need to do better.

👤I bought a full set of 14 sensors from the Garmin Approach in February of 2019. I can focus on playing golf and record my shot distance with the help of the sensors. The putts are tracked by the sensors. The club I pick up is automatically identified by the watch when it is turned on. The feature of the sensors to keep my score on each hole as well as score for the round is something that I like. You can review your golf game with the analysis/stats provided by the sensors and save data. I like using the sensors.

👤The item was sent back because it was not compatible with the Fenix 5 watch. My boyfriend wanted this for Christmas and was disappointed that his $650 watch didn't work with the Garmin sensors. There is a design flaw.

👤If the price wasn't so high, I would give a 5 star rating. It's a little annoying to spend $300 on a watch that has 14 tags and then another $300 for a watch that is compatible. The CT10's work well when they are used. My 14 pack varied in how long it took for me to recognize the sensor. I think this may be battery strength. The gps on my phone seems to be pretty accurate on the course and I can see which club I'm using quickly. I haven't noticed that any practice swings are counted. There are software interface displays and locations that are not easy to understand. Select the hole on the score card if you want to get to the shot locations. You can't. I don't know how to display this information on the dashboard. The pricing is to blame for 4 stars.

👤The starter set I bought is for the Approach S20 GOS watch. Score Keeping and Club Tracking are turned on and the watch tracks all shots, but it misses the light chip shots and almost always misses the putts. The putt fills in the gaps and the sensors put on my wedges pick up the chip shots. It's been great to look at the statistics from my rounds with these devices. If you own a compatible watch, I recommend adding these.

8. Garmin Approach Preloaded Courses 010 02472 01

Garmin Approach Preloaded Courses 010 02472 01

A high-resolution sunlight-readable display is included in the new round watch design. There are more than 42,000 courses in the world. Provides yardages to the front, back and middle of the green. You can keep score on the watch and use the app to participate in the weekly leaderboards. Track your score and how far you hit with each club with compatible ApproachCT10 club tracking sensors. The battery life is up to 30 hours.

Brand: Garmin

👤The screen of the watch is clear in either black or white, and it finds the course faster than any other watch I have had. The buttons are the same as the Approch s10. It is simple to use. The dial is round. Someone who wants a clear visible dial and operational speed is going to love this watch.

👤The best golf watch I have ever purchased. It's so light. It's spot-on, compared to myNikon. The battery life is the best part. Really? I still have 98% battery life left after a 4 hour round.

👤It's a good watch, it's very accurate. The hazard and layup distances are difficult to use. It's fine on the golf course, but can't be used as a daily watch. There is no light, so you can't see the time at night, and it doesn't do anything else. I would have saved $90 and bought the 10 instead of the 12 if I had it to do over again.

👤Knowing the distance to the pin is a key element in club selection as a new golfer trying to lower my scores. I used a flag laser, but it was not helpful in my playing. Get it out, find the flag, then put it away. The watch seems to be within a yard. I have a hole locator for my main course. I play the middle of the green on other courses. Even when I couldn't see the flag, I knew which club I wanted. Playing other courses with a version that shows the layout of the hole might be useful. I don't need that feature as most cards show an aerial of each fairway. I like this watch. As I walk up to my ball, I glance at the watch and only have to pick a club. There was no break in my rhythm. I forget that watch is on my left wrist as I swing. It lasts three games, so as I play more, I may raise it to 5 stars for a basic watch.

👤It's very easy to use once you get used to it. When you get to the golf course, tell it you want to play and it will load the course for you. You're ready to go if you indicate which tee your hitting from. It will give you the info you want regardless. You can see the front, center and back of the green as well as the dangers. There are no data fees for the watch. I only have it for a couple of weeks and can't comment on battery life.

👤The product is nice. The original golf watches were stolen and replaced with S12's. We play golf for fun. These were perfect for everyday golfing needs. The are light and efficient. They give us accurate information that is all we need. The accuracy was confirmed by a gps in the golf cart. This is a basic watch.

👤It's all you need to play golf. You can focus on your game. The battery life is good. The display is clear in the sun. It only took a few minutes to view the course in more detail. The large watch is less stable on the wrist because the strap is not as wide as previous models.

Brand: Tectectec

👤I bought this because I wanted to leave for Florida for the winter months. It is a basic watch with a front, middle and back range. Pre-ordered. I used my range finder to compare it to my watches. I compared this watch to other people's watches and found it to be spot on. It is very easy to lock in the satellites. A great buy. I use it everyday.

👤I used my ULT-G for two rounds after I received it. The easiest to use device is my third golf range finder. It is easy to provide distances. I have a laser golf range finder. The distances shown on the Golf watch are very accurate, thanks to the laser range finder. I use a Neo Ghost as well. I like the ULT-G golf watch more than my Neo Ghost as I don't have to misplace my pockets to look for the watch and it provides readings faster. The three devices all have the same distances. The range finder is easy to use and has a ready availability on my wrist that will make it my go to device for golf range finding.

👤The watch does everything promised when it is working correctly. When you have a technical issue like my photo shows, and you try to contact their technical support or customer service, you may be disappointed in their handling. I was able to get a refund after several calls to Amazon Customer Service. I left the email response and the follow up with TecTecTec, it was unacceptable. I like the product, but their customer service has made me rethink my investment in it. I don't know if this is a typical incident or an isolated one.

👤The first 9 holes were played using the watch. The app is simple to use and seems to be an accurate comparison to the SwingU app on my phone. It took me a long time to find the course I was on. I played 2.5 holes before it linked up. I'm playing 18 on Sunday and Monday. Will update after that, it seems to find the courses better than the first time I used it. I wish it didn't have a few features, for example keeping score, but it is meant to be a simple, straight forward gps. When my software became unresponsive, tectec support sent a firmware update and it worked again in a few moments.

👤I wrote a review of the golfGPS watch in October. The instructions were easy to follow and the watch was operational in a few minutes. I've been using it twice now. Even in the bright sunlight, readouts are clear. It calculates the distances and automatically loads golf courses near me. I have a range finder and a gps device, and all of them were within 1 yard of each other. The watch is comfortable to wear, less awkward to handle than the other devices, and seems to be very durable, which is a plus. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks to TecTec. There is an update. My watch stopped working. Within an hour, customer support answered my email. I was given instructions on how to reset the watch by a nice person named Isabella, but he didn't resolve the issue so I had to return the watch. As well as being knowledgeable of her product, she was clear, concise, and professional. I am confident that I will be as happy with my new watch as I was with the original. Thank you, and thank you, TecTec. Bill Brown was a very satisfied customer.

10. Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor Only

Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor Only

The battery life can be up to 15 hours in the gps mode. The best personal launch monitor in 2021. The professional level of accuracy. Trackman's distance accuracy is 2% of the price. Set up in less than 30 seconds. Simply open the app, connect your device to the internet and start hitting. An instant feedback. Data overload and shottrace make it easier to understand cause and effect in the real-time video feedback. Access your stat history to see average and medians for each club. The gps satellite view. You can use your phone's gps to see where your shots land. The use of hitting into a net indoors or outdoors with certain devices is allowed. The mode is compatible with the following devices: iPad, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4, iPad 5, and iPhone 6s and up.

Brand: Rapsodo

👤A good device. The instructions are not very clear. There are a couple things I learned along the way. To calibrate the device, you need to hold it from the phone. 4.3” seems very precise and must have an impact on calibration. I tried to calibrate the device at 4.3” but could not. I reached out to customer service and they said I could go more than 4.3” Calibration was made easier by this. A bit of a pain. I was not able to include my swing in the video when setting the device behind the ball. I can move the device further back without affecting accuracy, according to the customer service. The device's measurement of distance is unaffected by the heading setting. Setting the heading is difficult. The device does a nice job of capturing the data and allowing you to sort it in a number of ways. Compared to Flight Scope's Mevo... Rapsodo shows you how to fight a path. Each swing is identified as a fade, draw, straight etc. Mevo does not. Rapsodo provides a map type image of your range or course and a gps location of where you hit your balls. You can see patterns. Mevo does not. The spin rate and height are provided by Mevo. Rapsodo does not. Rapsodo's software allows you to sort data by column and track your average distance for each club in a user friendly interface. Mevo does not. Rapsodo only show you the video of your swing. The Rapsodo device has to be placed on your phone. Video is limited. There is no slow motion or ability to add circles or lines to the video. Video play back can be marked up and played in slow motion with Mevo. The video feature is a strong point. You can save the video on your phone. There are 6 clips. Rapsodo will save up to 100 clips. The annual fee is $100 and it will save unlimited clips. The Rapsodo is the better device. The only real advantages Mevo has are the ability to get video from different angles, video play back options and the ability to measure spin rate. Mevo's software is better. You can see how you hit the ball, fade, draw, and so on. You can easily see your average distance by club. You can sort your statistics by week, month and year. You can sort by distance, club speed, launch angle, etc. Rapsodo's cloud service is a big plus. You don't need to load your phone with all the videos. Data can only be tracked with Mevo. I apologize for cryptic typing. I typed a review from my phone.

👤For the last few years, I've been researching personal launch monitors, and each time the product was limited. I stumbled upon this product last week and after doing my research I said let me try it. If you want a game change, then this is what you need. The aspects are amazing. The video, shot tracker, and ease of use make it a five star. I will make a promise to anyone that gets it. I wanted to be able to review my good and bad shots, as well as my good shots, to improve my game. Well done to Rapsodo.

Brand: Izzo

👤I'm 69 years old. An avid golfer. I spent $349 on a laser range finder two years ago to get more accuracy with the distances I had to hit. The slope reader was included in this thing. They don't tell you what to do when you buy one, you better have a steady hand, or at least be able to brace yourself against something. The "cross-hairs" bounce around like rabbits. It was more frustrating than anything else. The brand name was lousy. There is a I bought the Swami 6000 from IZZO. Imagine a technology that does what it says it will do for under $100.00. It's easy to use, with 40,000 courses in their library, and it's magnetic so it sits right on the frame of my golf cart. The distance to the green front is shown to me when I get my ball. I wanted it to do that. I could keep my score on it, but I need to know how far to get home, I've played many courses before. IZZO, keep it up!

👤The product is great. The new charging system is better than the previous ones. The yardage is always on the front and back of the green. The gps is reliable. You have to wait until you get 60 yards away from the previous hole to record your score. Sometimes it can be a problem. The other things about this gps are great. I would recommend this product to anyone.

👤I bought this to replace a device that stopped working. I was told to send it back with $90 and they would rebuild it. I jumped at the $129 price when I saw it. It has more than I need for my 14 handicap game and does not have a lot of features of the G6. When you wonder to far off the fairway, it tends to switch holes but you can't go wrong. If you are that far off the fairway, how good can you be if you can either go one way or the other? The battery life is amazing. The battery was only 50% down after almost 12 hours of play.

👤The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because when I get close to another hole it jumps ahead and won't stay on the hole I'm on even if I change it. Even though I have a rain cover on the post, the strong magnet has never fallen off my cart. I can play multiple rounds between charges if you change the plug in charge from the magnet charge. This is my third Izzo. I like them. For a lot more money, work as well as others.

👤This is what I wanted. I decided to go with this instead of spending a lot of money on a good one. The gps is off in the area. After two rounds of golf, the battery life is excellent. I only lost one bar as I was on the last hole. The hazard feature is pretty accurate, but I have seen two holes that were missing water hazard. Maybe that's why, both were small creeks. The buttons are easy to press but for me they are fine. It won't come on while in a bag. 100% satisfied.
