👤I can't get to do anything because the directions are so bad, and the instructions are so loud that my cat jumped out of her skin if I put that on her.

👤A 50 pound pit/Shepard/Heinz dog that was a rescue from the city loves to explore and run. We live in the woods and he has a lot of room to roam. He wanders to far at times and is a bother to his neighbors. We were afraid of installing an underground fence, but felt we had to do something else. We bought the supplies for the underground 1500' fence on Amazon after coming up with a plan. The late spring weather did not allow us to bury the fence kit. I was worried that it would not work out for us. A friend of mine told me that his friend had bought a dogtra collar and was very happy with it. I decided to send the underground stuff back to Amazon after a few hours of research. The path of the underground fence was going to cost more to install than the Dogtra collar. I had a good idea how to use the product after watching several videos on the internet. "Brock" was already familiar with wearing a training collar, but the cheaper collar only worked in a close proximity so when he got out of sight he knew it." He is a very stubborn dog and has no fear of anything. He knows when the collar is on when he gets a tiny bit of juice. We let him outside to test drive the new collar after we setup it. I set up the area around a year ago. The lines are close to the neighbors to the west and east and parallel to the road. We watched his live path as he traveled around and the maps on the internet are amazing. I got an alert on the phone and yelled at him to retreat when he got close to the fence. Brock knows what will come after the beep if he is still wrong. The neighbors to the east are ok with him playing with their dogs. We had to keep him home. He went out of the fence last night. I can see that and call him back. I gave him a mild tickle after he ignored the call, but he came back on a dead run. We work with him every day and the training gets better. The unit is a great alternative to underground fence. The long range is up to 9 miles. The unit will perform well within a couple miles of our woods, but I don't expect that. The app and collar work perfectly with no issues found as of yet and would recommend searching out videos on the internet to learn more.
👤If you're like me, you might be wondering if this collar could possibly be worth $400, and if it works for all that. I am here to tell you that it is worth it. Every time. A penny. I have a German Shorthair Pointer that I want to be able to find when I'm working, but I also want him to be able to wander my fields without being seen, and have the peace of mind that he wasn't going onto roads or other people's property The range works exactly as advertised, the battery life is great, and the shock delivery works from miles away. Everything works offline when I'm out of range of cell service. This collar has made it possible for me to be in my house and not worry about what my son is doing. It was just brilliant. I wish I'd gotten the collar sooner. There are a few notes. The dog statuses can be a little oversensitive, as I have found that 20%- 30% of the alerts for 'pointing' and 'treed' have been inaccurate while directly observing Jeager. I've learned to look for "clusters" of status alert to let me know if he's really located something. 2. This is a sophisticated set-up but as long as you skim the manual, it's pretty easy to use. Don't be a moron like me and throw the manual away because you don't like getting snowed with papers every time you buy something. 3. The "geo-fence" feature can't shock or play a tone when the dog leaves, but you can get an alert if the dog leaves. This has been perfect for me. If you want to teach your dog where the new boundaries are, take your dog for a walk around the perimeters of your fence. If he breaks the boundary, I keep my phone handy and send a push notification.
You can follow your furry friend's every move on your phone. Take a look at where your dog has been and what they've been up to. There are monthly, 1 year, 2 year and 5 year plans available. Dogs can be tracked throughout the USA, Canada and 150 other countries with a WORLDWIDE LOCATION TRACKING device. You can manage all features via the free app.
👤Don't buy! I knew this only worked with a subscription. They said it was free, but couldn't get that to work so they paid for a subscription. I tried to use the device while on the dog or in my hand, but it didn't work. I drove 30 miles through town with it on my dash and it said no history. I still have 1-2 bars of mostly 4G and can make and receive calls, even though the cell signals are weak here. I gave up after 3 days of trying. Amazon accepted the return. The cancellation and refund of the subscription service is a nightmare because of the active website from Austria. You can get a refund within 14 days, but how? They don't allow you to remove your method of payment and only say that it will go away if you cancel your subscription. The only way to get a refund is to request an RMA, however they have a link to request an email address and order number. The order number does not exist, even if they show it in their link of where to find it. I have account numbers, invoice numbers, transaction IDs and 888-349-8884 They don't have a phone number for support or a chat option. We'll see how that goes after I filled out the form. I submitted a request to dispute my documentation because I kept good records and took screen shots throughout the process. They are also off. I gave it a full charge for several hours on Tuesday. After lunch I put it on my dog's collar and he went in and out of the house and around the property with me. The device had no charge by the following morning and never showed any activity online. The battery life of the tracker is less than advertised, with a charging time of up to 3 hours, since it was not in "live" mode.
👤Was hoping for better. I settled on this one after a lot of research. I'm not sure if I'll continue with them. The device is ok but the battery life could be better. There is a It's ok to navigate when using the app. I live in a major city and there should be no connection issues since I live in a major city. The actual tracking of my dog is ridiculous. I showed them the tracking and it showed the dog running through the neighborhood and the dog playing in the other room. It's hard to track your dog if it runs away because of the issues on the gps device. There is a subscription. You save money by buying longer-term, and you can cancel anytime. There is a But... You can't just try it out for a month. There is a I bought a year thinking I'd cancel if it wasn't working. I had no issues canceling it. Your subscription is canceled at the end of the year. Since you paid for the year, they don't give refunds and the device will stop working at the end of the term.
The US version of the Handheld device has a gps dog finder that displays your dog's location along with your location on a topographical map. The handheld device has over one hundred thousand topo maps with unlimited lifetime map updates. This location system uses HopTek technology to track your dog up to 10 miles away, and you can purchase additional TEK Series 2.0GPS Tracking Add-A- Dog Collars to track up to 21 dogs. The direction and status of your dog can be viewed or listened to, and the Handheld device will show the path your dog took to get there. The handheld device and gps collar are both waterproof and can be updated with the included cables. SportDOG has become the most recognized brand in the electronic tracking and training categories because of the heat, cold, rain, snow, dust, mud, and wind that they design in the field.
👤I expected it to work because I spent $600 on it. The remote shows my dog running all over the place up to 73 yards in all directions while I watch the sky. The corner markers are not accurate and I have a clear view of the sky. There are a lot of errors when the dog and I are in the middle of a large geographic area. After each refill, the collar needs to bepaired with the remote. The batteries last less than a day. The gps shows no contact between the collar and remote. I contacted SportDog customer service and they helped me out with a new component. The errors are still with the replacement. The tone, vibrate, correction function works perfectly. The gps function does not work. I am a military radio operator. I know the functions. I must conclude that this device is not reliable. I'm sending this item back and will try an electronic collar with expectations of better results. The November 21, 2018, update is here. Sport Dog replaced the TEK 2.0 system five times. The collar won't pair with the handheld remote for a few weeks. The system should work all the time. Five times customer service has taken the issue to their customer service advocates, Matt or Christine, but they don't call me back. I am told that Matt or Christine are not available when I call back. I have spent $600 on something that doesn't work and can't get good customer service. SportDog customer service does their best to help me, and everyone I have talked to has done their best to help me. They told me that the system should work. The issue is not that I am in a suburban area with good gps coverage. A replacement for TEK2.0 will not be available until mid January. Until the TEK2.0 is available again, they will provide a remote trainer without the gps feature. I'm not happy.
👤I have had this unit for five days and have had time to test it. I bought it because I hike with my dog a lot and in Oregon we are hiking in the forest. I don't want to call out to my dog if he doesn't need to because he is easy to lose sight of and I don't want him to run off. I had read the negative reviews but had a great experience with my SportDOG 425 so I was scared but not loathing. I decided to take the plunge. My observations are as follows: The unit is easy to set up. threading the lanyard on to the handheld was the most difficult part for me. The instructions are easy to find and follow. I am a 67 year old technical laughingstock and I had no trouble following the setup guide. It took me 45 minutes because I am slow, but I will be fine. The unit was tested on my German Shorthaired Pointer on the Oregon coast and it worked perfectly. I went for a couple of hours on a trail in a forested area. Again, flawless. I was worried that the heavy tree canopy and the ravines would prevent the unit from receiving a signal but it worked great. There are 3 more The handheld is easy to use. I played with it for about an hour prior to using it with the dog and I was able to navigate around it easily. It's like learning to navigate around a new phone, you just have to use it for a while. It can be hard to see in the bright sunlight. The handheld is small at just over 10 ounces. It's too heavy to wear around my neck for me. I think a belt clip or holster is more useful than a lanyard for carrying a shotgun. I will try a carabineer to see how it works. I did not need the help of SportDOG's customer service department to set this up, but I have contacted them on two other occasions for questions about my 425 and found them to be available, knowledgeable, and willing to help. They don't have a real overnight shipping option at any price. If you order a part on Thursday morning, you won't get it until Monday because it's next business day after a day of processing. There are five It's fun to tell kids that your dog is a robot and that you can control it with a remote. I don't think this unit will fail if you need a gps tracker for your dog.

👤I had originally given this product 5 stars. A picture of my cat wearing a product was posted. Within 2 weeks, the tracker stopped giving me the right area at the right time to find and secure my pet. At one point, the tracker showed my cat was 4 miles away. I was trying to find him in the dark woods. He was in the yard. I almost had an attack of hyperventilation. I called customer service after trying to reset. None. I sent it back to Amazon after having 3 events like this within a few days. Get this! You can't cancel the subscription when you send it back. A whole 114 dollars was gone. They won't refunds. Don't purchase before you think. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps someone else.
👤It's a waste of money. The live tracking is useless, our dog ran off and it displayed where he had been but not where he was real time as it claims. I used email to contact customer service. I'm on day 6 waiting for a reply, I think I should get a refund for this product, it's not good, but I'll see if I get one.
👤We bought this for our cat. My goal was to keep an eye on where he goes and how often he crosses a busy street so we can decide if he should stay. We might use this tracker permanently going forward, since it was not the original plan. You can set a very precise digital fence. It was important to me to know when he crosses the street on our block. I was surprised that I could drag the fence lines up to the sidewalk. You can set any shape along any road or property line you need. You can see a heat map of where he went during the last 24 hours, and see where he spent less time. It's funny. I use this to find out how often he goes into areas that are less safe. See the picture. Live tracking works well if he's in a wooded area, but you get notifications when he enters/exits the digital fence. If I'm trying to bring him inside and need to know where to look for him, this helps. I don't worry about the physical tracker coming off because it has a secure connection piece to his collar. It is easy to charge, and I find it lasts a few days. I let my cat in and out. I can check the battery life before I let him out. If your cat has a door to come and go, I can see the battery life being a little annoying to monitor. The app sends a notification if the charge is low, so I think battery life and charging work well here. It's easy to use and gives me the information I need. His position doesn't always update for 30-40 minutes. I have to turn on Live Tracking to get a more current read if I check on where he is. I don't know if the app would have known if he crossed the fence. I worry I might not be able to call him back when he's crossing the road. The app doesn't seem to have gaps on his position when I look at his historical heat map. The tracker is big for a cat. I was worried that it was too heavy for his neck, but eventually I was comfortable connecting it to his collar. He doesn't seem to care about it anymore. My cat is about 12 pounds. See the picture. The activity/exercise tracking features are not necessary for an animal. I only use historical heat map features. When he went into a treed area, I lost signal for 45 minutes. It took me an hour to realize he was off the grid because the app didn't tell me a signal had been lost. I panicked because live tracking wouldn't work, since it hadn't happened before. After I walked the block calling for him, he popped out on the app close to home after ignoring my calls. I don't think that area is "heavily wooded." I have a lot of evergreen trees and mature landscaping on the block. If you live among a lot of trees, you could lose signal often. There was a gap in his historical heat map tracking for that period. I don't like paying for gps tracking. I'm willing to pay for it because the app works well and I get a precise location on him to solve my problem. The tracker's up front cost was low enough to cover the ongoing cost.
This is one of the best training collars with a remote where you will see great results in training your pet. The button battery is easy to replace, and the high quality of the technology. You can use the two ways to connect to your phone. The anti-loss device and mobile phone will alarm if the range is exceeded. The service is close to 10 meters. A fashion design with a beautiful look. There are four main colors, which can match each other. You can check the map location when you connect the anti-loss device to your phone, but you have to use a compatible device. You can find the App "Find Elfi" on the App store. It's suitable for pets, luggage, children, etc.
👤I didn't buy this to use on a computer, but rather as a model car, so if you want to look at it, just hang out on a shelf. I can't speak of its usefulness as a mouse, but as a physical 1:43 scale car it looks amazing, I mean it's as nice as any model in my collection of mini Lamborghinis. There are several windows in the box to view the product. The cars are clean. I would recommend this mouse to car enthusiasts. The car doesn't do justice to Amazon's photo. You can't go wrong with a car model at this price, it won't appear cheap next to more expensive items.
👤The device is perfect. I was worried that it might be a toy without a real mouse. I took it out of the case, put the single battery in, and put theusb chip in the correct slot, and my little Lambo was off and pointing. We're very comfortable together and it fits nicely in my hand. The attention it gets from both men and women is unexpected.
👤The head lights do not work.
👤The mouse was delivered by the company Amazon. It had a bad battery. The bad battery was thrown away. I put mine in it. It works really well now.
👤Well made and works great!
👤Car is great work.
👤Even over reflective services, the tracking is precise. I was very pleased with the mouse. This is the second one I have purchased. It is a quality product and you will get a lot of questions about where you got it.
👤The laptop'susb plug went out in January after being purchased as a Christmas gift. No response was received from the seller.
It's suitable for pets, luggage, children, etc. The package comes with 4 smart trackable key finders of different colors and with 4 keychains, enough quantity for your daily use and replacements, and you can hang the location trackers anywhere you want with the easy to carry keys. When you press the remote control button, the receiver will sound and you can hear voices from smart trackers within 45-55 feet. Each pet locator is easy to carry. The small size of 1.65 x 1.57 x 0.39 inches/ 4.2 x 4 x 1 cm makes it easy to carry, and the key rings can be hung with the keys, or placed in a specific position. Good choice of gifts: gps tracking devices can be applied by yourself, or given to your friends with poor memory, or juniors who are still too young; For them, these smartphone keychain alarms are good gifts to receive; and also, with these anti-loss device, you can find things You can find keys, pets, wallet, cars, luggage, and other things by pressing the button on the tracking device, and when the smart trackable key finders are out of your phone's searching range, the key finders and your smart phone will alarm together.
👤Not good for pets. The alarm was going off because my cat didn't leave the yard. I wanted a longer distance for my pets. This would not work for animals.
👤I used it on my cat for a month but he lost his harness and I couldn't find it. The map on my phone read bad.
👤It is easy to set up and use. I attached two controllers to the dog collar controller because I was tired of the wife blaming me for the controller's loss. She left it in her bath robe pocket the last time she was lost. One failed to work but was quickly addressed by the seller.
👤It's only a few feet from your phone when it's out of range, but it's cheap. I could see my dog if I lost him.
👤Doesn't work. Only shows the location of your phone. Your phone freaks out when you go too far away. This doesn't do anything unless your item stays with you.
👤I can't get the gps to work. If tag gets too far away from my phone, it loses track. It seemed like I would be able to locate my pet if it was lost. There are too many dogs that run loose in the neighborhood and a cat that sneaks out. If she got out and started to roam, I got this to find her.
👤The device only works when nearby. It doesn't allow me to track my pet's location if it's lost. It's not useful. The size was too large for small pets.
👤I can't believe I bought these. A mistake.

👤I love it! Well made, durable and works well. Customer support is the best.
👤I loved it! It works well to add to our collection.
👤I don't recommend this product for search and rescue. The screen is nice, but it's not easy to stop and start, and you can't download tracks to a computer for a search report. The system would easily beat out the alpha gps collar if those were fixed.

👤I rely on the Whistle 3 daily and have been for over a year. You get a bad location occasionally, but not very often. I upgraded to the Whistle Go Explorer because it was lost. The ability to pick up a weaker cell signal is a major pro. The support is terrible and it does not work well. The Whistle keeps telling me that my dog is in the actual location. I am 1/2 mile away from home in an open field after whistle support confirmed full AT&T signal. I have walked the same field for a year with the Whistle 3. I asked for a substitute Whistle Go, which I received crickets. I bought a Fi Collar and ran a test on my dog at the same time. Fi worked well and there were no false location reports. I sent Whistle copies of my screen to show them that it was malfunctioning. The Fi told me that my dog was out of the yard. Maybe I have a bad unit. If you buy anything, get the Whistle 3. I offered to test another unit along side the Fi collar if they wanted to send me one but this one is being returned as faulty within 30 days of purchase. You have lost a customer. I will update this review after I test the Fi Collar. I have a dog that likes to run and needs a tracker. Dogtra is good for a few miles when hiking in the mountains. When there is no cell towers, the battery life is better.
👤This is the worst product I have ever bought. My dog is an English Setter who loves to run and has made the great escape from my house before, hence the desire for a gps. She is not easy to find once she is out. The biggest issue is that it simply does not work, because the back of the first two prongs broke, and the gps wouldn't stay clipped on. My dog jumped out of the car before we could grab her collar and run. There was no hope of catching her. I was so relieved to open the Whistle app. The directions! We will find her quickly and it will update once a day to say she is less than a mile away. She is not at the mentioned location. It was not surprising since she is so fast. I went to refresh her location. Nothing. Her gps didn't work for another two hours. We searched for hours. It is getting dark. We had to log onto Whistle's website to make sure our area had gps coverage. Nothing. We are having trouble connecting to Valla's Whistle. Really? You can't find her signal when she leaves? You can track her activity while she is in the internet, but this is a gps device. She blew out her back paw after she was found covered in needles by a kind neighbor. She is on bed rest. We would have found her sooner had she been wearing her original collar with my name and phone number on it, but we swapped to the collar sold by Whistle to keep the tracker on since it kept falling off the clip it came with for her original collar. Had we left her original collar on and not spent the money on Whistle, she would have been brought home much more quickly. It could have been much worse. I thought we would find her easily thanks to Whistle, but I didn't find her until half an hour after she returned home, and I kept trying to find her over and over again. Don't waste your time or money. Whistle won't jack when it comes down to it.

👤I bought it because I have a fur baby. It helped when she ran around the neighborhood before I could get shoes on. It is definitely worth the money. I didn't think I would be the one to get one. We lost a dog after Christmas and my kids don't want another dog.
👤I don't think this is accurate. My dog will be sleeping in the same room as me and I will get an alert when he leaves the fence. He traveled five miles and back. He was with me. I am disappointed.
👤I bought 3 of these trackers to track the movement of my PODs. Units are fully charged. The battery died 3 days into the move, so the settings say to ping every 10 minutes. The battery died 4-5 days into the move. The battery died in the move. One of my PODs was lost in shipment. The product let me down. The option to return these units has been removed. The units are pretty accurate when it comes to positioning. ! Important! There is a If you choose the month-by-month service, the company will continue to auto-draft payments until you uninstall the payment options. The return option appears to have expired after I was able to retrieve all of the units.
👤If you want to track it when it's outside of your phone's range, I would not recommend buying this. This device uses your phone's gps to report it's location. Permissions to your phone location are turned off if the device is in a different country. I live in the USA and it shows it is in Africa. It is forcing "always allow" on the phone, then uses it instead of the gps device. I'm not sure if it's because the creators want to track us or not. They don't want it to use the gps service we are paying for. If it is not connected to the phone's location services, it will give occasional locations, but not enough to actually find the unit. Most of the time it won't give the option for live tracking. It appears that both your phone and the device have to be connected through a wireless network for it to offer live tracking. It will not offer "live" if it is outside and moving. There is a total piece of junk.
👤The sleek black gps fits nicely on our dogs collar. We wanted to be able to track her if she escaped from the yard, so we signed up for the service. The map is clear and we know where she is. It's a lot of fun to track her walks as we take her through the neighborhood.
👤I bought this for a fleet vehicle and was worried when the description said to make sure it wasn't under metal. We had it mounted under a back seat in a vehicle with no sunroof because it never lost signal and was tracked in real time. The battery usually lasted a week.
👤I plan to have my grandson carry it with him when he rides his dirt bike so that I can track him if he isn't back on time. If they disappear, this would be useful for dementia patients.

👤When you get an item from China and you get an "Amazon Gift Card" that falls out, you can get a five star review and a video for free. You know that you're dealing with alcoholism right off the bat. In this case, we're talking about an app that has notifications in Chinese, and wants access to your files, microphone, camera and more. It wouldn't need any permission or location services if it was just forging a connection. The app won't work until you give it a password and go through a lot of garbage. I'm not even close to being three feet tall. Chances are I've already found it if I'm within three feet of it. If you buy this, you will pay Chinese hackers to install a program on your phone. Thank you.
👤These are junk. If you sneeze hard in your pocket, they have a power button that will be pushed. The locator starts to sound if you turn off the app.
👤I bought this device to keep an eye on my dog. All it does is. Set off alarms on my phone and collar. The dog is frightened by the alarm. This system is not good for pets.
👤I don't like this product because it doesn't have multiple maps so you can track each tracker. You can't have more than one at a time. The alert ringer is on. It's difficult to keep it connected to my phone.
👤As soon as we opened the box, we were impressed with this item. My son was asked to walk outside and see how the item works. When the dog is far from your house, this button alarmed your phone.
👤Even if you have them on, do not disturb them. If you walk out of the room with your phone, it will start to chirp. It goes off in the middle of the night. I would rather lose my keys than listen to this.
👤I put one on our cat because I keep losing my phone and keys. The accuracy wasn't what they advertised, as soon as the cat walked out of the room, the connection wasn't strong, and all of them were like that. I would have returned them, but it took us a while to try all of them and we lost the receipt, so it wasn't worth it. I wouldn't buy again.
👤These arrived quickly. They are a sturdy tag that won't fall apart, that has a good sound, and you can preview it with a small button. The tag is not large enough to be used in a big way. Setting up the tracking is up to my husband, but he didn't have any problems with it. I would recommend this product to anyone.
