The dual-beam transducer with the traditional sonar is included. You can use the built-in mapping software to create and store maps with up to 2 million acres. You can use built-in gps to mark routes and view boat speed. The 4.3” display is bright and Sunlight-readable. Every fishing environment has a rugged design. Transmit power: 200 W (RMS) and frequencies: 50/77/83/200 kHz.
👤I didn't have the chance to enjoy it. The device malfunctioned after only a couple of times, and I won't be able to use it again. I've tried to get in touch with the support of the company, but every time they let me wait for a response, it didn't help with my device. Since I first addressed them, nothing has happened. The product is nice, so it's too bad. Good features and affordable. The service was the worst ever. I'm very disappointed.
👤Great fish finder! It's perfect for my kayak use.
👤The unit is very easy to use and the display has no issues in direct sunlight. I like the automatic night mode for low light use. I am using a kayak.
👤If you use this in saltwater, be careful. I had to replace the power cable after 3 months because the connection melted. The push connections in the back of the unit are not waterproof. After I installed the unit, I coated it with grease, took it off my kayak, cleaned and stored it in a dry place, but I still have to clean the pins periodically. The transducer is flush on the PDL. The unit works well at depths to 120 feet and I have no problems finding structure or bait with it.
👤I bought it for ice fishing. The portable kit came from the same company. The unit did a great job on the ice. I was in 30 feet of water and set the transducer to 200kHz. I have a flasher that I normally use for ice fishing, but I used the graph with A-Scope instead, because I thought that was what I would use on this one. I liked how I watched the fish react to me jigging. The standard boat transducer was used. I'm not sure if I'll buy the ice transducer from Garmin. The one that came with it was very good. It picked up on the fish. The screen is very bright. The screen is large enough that I had no issues with it. I decided to use the portable kit from Garmin for open water fishing. The Striker Plus 4 worked well. I used it on my father-in-law's boat which already has a fish finder. The Humminbird interfered with me but I was able to see everything that the Humminbird did. The mapping feature on the Garmin seemed to do a great job for me. I did not get to map a lot of the lake because it is over 1200 acres, but I did get to look at the map. You would expect the gps to work well. I am very pleased with the device. Plus 4. The 4 inch screen was too small for me. The 5 inch would be better. Since I didn't have enough money to buy the 5 inch model, I had to get the 4 inch model which is larger and more suited for ice fishing. I can use it for open water too, even though it costs less than a new flasher. It is just as good as your standard ice fishing flasher.
Easy to use dedicated gps navigator with bright display. There are lifetime maps of the U.S. Driver warnings for dangerous curves, speed changes, speed cameras and more. Hotels, restaurants, and attractions have ratings on the website. The guides use recognizable landmarks, buildings and traffic lights.
👤I can't review Easy to Use because I'm over 80. I had to call at least three times, but the customer service was great. I was patiently walked through my problem by each rep. There was a problem that had nothing to do with me and I was able to resolve it. I know how to use the gps. You would never know it was refurbished when I bought it at a very good price. I am very happy with the product and recommend it to anyone.
👤It wouldn't turn on after about 2 months, but it worked great for a while. The cheapest option at the post office was $11, and I had to pay shipping to return it.
👤The quality of this unit is brand new, and it may have been a LMT unit in the past. The unit performs as it should. The software was very easy to use and it came up to speed very quickly. It's easy to update software on my PC. It was an easy decision to buy because of the good price. There are a couple of things that are not nice. The unit protests when you try to charge it with a non-garmin cable. The unit senses a data cable. It's really hard. This isn't necessary. A confirmation button should be used. Why do I think this is annoying? The place where I mounted this device in my car is about 8 inches away from the 12V sockets. I don't need a lot of cable. The same thing happens when you run off of a 120V charge. It's double UGH. I tried different cables and chargers. The next thing to be annoyed is the LCD's polarization. Has anyone tried to look at the screen with sunglasses? TheGPS operates in a horizontal mode. Why do you polarize the display in the diagonal? My 8 year old does the same thing. I haven't seen a similar problem in every new car with a build in display. I couldn't give this unit less than 4 stars because of the good price.
👤I decided to try it instead of using one I borrowed from a friend because I received this right before my trip for work. I had a few wrong directions due to not hooking it up to my computer to download the lifetime maps, but overall it worked great and I ran into one spot where the gps didn't know there was a new road. It has no battery life. I will always use it in the car plugged in, so I'm not worried about that. The large screen on it is what makes me happy.
👤It's been over 100 days since I purchased this gps. After it was purchased, it was used on a trip to Virginia. It was used again last week and the wife was almost stranded. I requested a refund because the renewed unit didn't work and was denied because it was past the 90 day guarantee, so I'm going to have to fix this one again. I won't buy from the seller or a renewed unit again.
The display is built rugged and passed the military standard for drop test. You can get spoken turn-by-turn directions through your connected helmet or headset. Direct-to-device downloads and no annual subscription are available for BirdsEye Satellite Imagery. There are options for riding on curvy or hilly roads. You can easily manage and review routes, tracks, and waypoints with the help of a navigator. You can record your route with the track recorder and save it for future adventures. You can access live traffic and weather, share routes with other riders, and get phone notifications with the Garmin Drive app.
👤I don't know how many gpss I have used on a motorcycle. I think it's around 10. The motorcycle specific Gps are the first I have tried and they are too small for my liking. I have had it for about a year. My actual use has been limited because of the lack of appeal to ride in our Florida heat and humidity. There are a few observations about the screen. Even in direct sunlight, it is bright and readable. It's better than any of the previous ones I've used. Big plus! The data fields are easy to read, and the speed indicator glows red when you are speeding. The screen on the gps is glove friendly. Maybe this year I will be able to escape from Florida. The screen is a perfect size. The last 3 gpss I used were massive trucks. Big, easy to read, and extremely competent, but bulky. The larger, dimmer screen on the others is not as bright as the brighter screen on this, and the smaller overall size fits into the dash area better. Another plus. The Zumo is impervious to rain. The automotive/truckGPSs I have been using were not up to date. It's nice to no longer worry about the gps getting wet. The standard 1” ball mount was used for the gps. There is no need for special cradles or adapters. I decided to use the previously installed Ram ball and a 6” arm I already had in a big box of extra Ram stuff instead of using the bar mount and arm. The included dock/mount seems to hold the gps in place. You can remove the gps in a split second if you push a button on the back. The cable stays with the mount. The rubber cover for the contacts is included when the gps is not installed. Installation is very fast. Simply clip it back on. It's great if you have a place to securely store the gps. Some people may think that a thief can push the same button and walk away with your gps. The wiring was easy to follow. You need a negative and positive wire. I don't have to worry about messing with the gps because my car is wired to a hot-all-the-time circuit. The map retains detail when you zoom in, which is something I believe will make this gps more useful than any of the newer gpss I have used. I don't follow a pre-determined route on the bike. On the bike, I usually wing it, with only a general idea of where I'm headed, using the gps more as an electronic road atlas than just blindly following a route. You can still see the secondary roads with the map detail turned all the way up. Secondary roads are usually disabled above.3 or.500 miles. If you want to know where that little road you are thinking of exploring goes to, you might be able to see by zooming out, instead of having to scroll around and lose perspective. I prefer to adjust the zoom level myself when underway. The auto zoom seems to work at a useful level so far. I will try it. Time will tell... I just set it manually because I got tired of it zooming in and out on it's own. For the first year that I had this gps, I had a problem with how it handled points of interest. For the uninitiated and non-geeks, custom points of interest are lists of locations that may be of interest to you that would not normally be included with a gps's factory installed POIs. They can be a collection of stores or a collection of stores. The lists can be downloaded from a website, or you can make your own if you want to. The custom POIs were only accessible by digging into the menu system on the Zumo XT. A top level search didn't include custom POIs. I could live with that, but the worst thing for me was that there was no way to make the custom POI icons on the map. It's always nice to look at the map and see if one is close to something. The unit started showing custom POIs after the system update. "Up ahead" in the map settings menu must be checked to show your POIs. This will show the system icons for fuel, restaurants, and motorcycle related POIs, and it can make the screen a little busy, but hey, I'll take it. Speaking of POIs. I have found the pre-loaded POIs to be very inaccurate and frustrating to use. They have sent me on wild goose chases to businesses that were either notexistent or somewhere else. A big deal in a large RV is a frustrating annoyance on a motorcycle. Because of this, I stopped using Garmin's POIs a couple of years ago and now use other alternatives when searching for food, fuel, or anything else. Really? They could be better now. I don't know. I have been burned so many times that it will be a while before I try to use them again. I let the gps show me the nearest gas station for the first time since I owned it, against my better judgement. We went after it was shown to be close to us. I passed a gas station on the way that the gps didn't know about, and it took me about 5 blocks further up the street to a run down old building that was probably a gas station in a previous life. We were checking out an RV park for a future trip later that day, and I let the gps search for nearby RV parks on my phone. It didn't know that the RV park was established. The bottom line. If you need to find a place, don't use the POIs. You can enter the address into the gps by searching for it on your cell phone. The weather radar is connected to your phone through a wireless connection. I haven't had any showers that chase me around yet, but it all seems to work if you have a good wireless data signal. This feature is really cool. I have only used it for short trips, but if it's like any of my other current ones, they will find the address and you can be pretty confident they will get you there eventually, but will also sometimes choose strange routes. Always take a quick look at the proposed route, and always choose common sense over what a gps tells you. This thing is expensive. It's very expensive. It is the most expensive non-marine gps I have ever purchased. I would buy it again in a second. I still think it's great and would not want to be without it. As time goes on, I will probably update this review.
The sixth-generation TND truck is called the TND 750. There is a new design inside and out.
👤The gps is garbage. I'm returning it and going back to where I came from. The screen is so small that you can't see the icons or mileage in a glance. It can't say "speed warning", but it can say "peeed warning" and "beep warning". The route is terrible. It wants to make you do a U turn and go back, even though avoid U turns is activated. The 2.0 format is a big swing and miss.
👤After my 740 stopped holding a charge, I purchased the TND 750 on Amazon. I use the gps for two years and I like the motor carrier references on the screen. I rely on my gps and atlas to follow my routes. I assumed the 750 was the updated version and that the charging issues of the 740 had been solved by Rand McNally. No, no, no! The 750 lasted me for a day. It wouldn't charge at all, and I tried different cables and the plug provided in the package. It wouldn't work while plugged in, just kept flashing low battery and shutting off. I had to pay $425.00 for a 740 at the truck stop. I will be returning the junk to Amazon for a refund. Amazon's return policy is very easy to use. Stay away from the 750. JUNK!
👤I am running my 740 next to Gps so I can follow the trails that I have saved because I could not transfer my trail and address book because the 740 says the files are corrupted. My last two 740s were great, but only last 15 months before they stop working. The paper road atlas is a waste of money, and it should be returned to the TND730.
👤I wish I'd checked the reviews before buying it. I had a great little unit, the TND520, for 7 years before it started to get beat up. I thought it was time to retire. I said it was a piece of shit, so let's get the all new bigger model. The battery won't hold a charge, can barely hear the volume when it's talking. The first one I got was replaced by Amazon, but the second one had the same problems. I will not be buying R MCN again.
👤The hardware is still better than the previous model, but I don't trust it more. Routes on alternates are less than satisfactory. I have not run into any problems like others have. It is supposed to be an updated version of the 740. The magnet is a lot better than they said. I don't see it falling even if I hit it. I have been doing this differently and not leaving plugged in the entire time. I had to plug it back in after 7 hours. I still have my car. It is at the end of its life with the battery. I want to test the new one before I start running them. The 750 is more accurate than the 740. Since I don't want to use it's delay feature, I have had to adjust mentally with travels time a bit more. The navigation screen is the same. Unless I want to check for an update, I don't keep it connected to the internet. I have no idea about those features.
If you want to find your Tile nearby, use the Tile app to ring it or ask your Smart Home device to find it. The Tile app can be used to find your location outside of the range of the device. To find your phone, double press the button on your tile. The Tile Network can be used to find things when you misplace them. If your Tile is lost, you should add your contact information so you can be reached when someone scans your lost Tile. The Tile app is free on both the iPad and the phone. Tile works with a number of digital assistants. Water- resistant, up to 3-year non-replaceable battery, and a 76 m range. If they can't find your Tiled item, they reimburse you, and if you leave something behind, you get proactive Smart Alert notifications. Sticker (2022) has a bigger range, louder ring, and longer lasting battery. Their latest version of Slim has a bigger range and a longer lasting battery, as well as a new modern shape, which comes in black.
👤To start. It's slim and fits like a credit card. Does it work? If you have a wallet that blocks radio waves, you're out of luck because your wallet will block the signal from the tile app. I have a ridge wallet that claims to block rfid, but it does not work, and you can risk your credit cards info being stolen if your wallet doesn't block it, by having the tile sit on the outside of the wallet. It took a good 4 minutes to ring the tile, even though the tile was sitting on my night stand and I was on my bed. I have a keysmart pro with tile that has a long delay on it, and I am starting to wonder if airtags are the way to go, since I received a previously owned item and the previous owner damaged it, or Tile is losing their touch.
👤I have been the resident finder in my house for 10 years. It was tiring. I don't know how someone can misplace so many things. We have a purse. I knew there had to be a better way after he purchased so many places that he could store his stuff and still have to go on scavenger hunts. I got him a tile pack for Christmas. I gave him it a week early because I found his things one last time. Since then, I have not found anything. Even if you lose your phone, you can keep a tile somewhere to hit and it will ring your phone. The product is easy to use and works well.
👤Updating my review, Amazon support was great and they rushed me a new tile before I could send the used one back. The good news is over. The tech has not improved since my last tile. You have to be far away from your tile to have it pick it up. peace of mind is the only thing it's good for. You know you didn't lose it while you were out. You need it if you need to find it before work. It's useless to get out the door now. The tile I received in a sealed box had a nice greasy fingerprints on it. I tried to pair it with my account, but it told me that it was already connected to another account. They are selling new tiles. It's a shady place.
👤The wallet tile is terrible. It is not close enough to be found. It updates very slowly. I went somewhere yesterday. I couldn't find my wallet, but it was still at the store. I called the store and asked if they found a wallet. They said no. I was on my way there to find out if my wallet was there. My husband found my wallet in our room while I was on my way to the store. I bought this tile because I'm extremely forgetful. When it was in my home, it never updated. I want to return the wallet as it's useless. The key tile works well. I must've just got a bad one. If I recommend it or think it's worth it, I will.

No sudden lane changes or missed turns. A 5 inch display has a split screen view. Instructions are spoken in more than 30 different languages.
👤They don't mention that the manufacturer charges an additional $130.00 for the computer driver to update the maps. I needed a new gps because the manufacturer stopped updating the maps for that model, so I was replacing my current one. It's not worth the cost to own this device.
👤I've been a fan of the products of TomTom for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. The question of how is lifetime defined was raised last month when I learned that my "lifetime" maps were no longer supported. I assumed I'd gotten out of the device and found another similar to it, so I'd stick with the brand I've been loyal to. I bought the VIA 1525SE as it seemed to have all of the same qualities and received it quickly. I plugged it into the computer to update the maps after charging it. It required to update the NAV4 file. The initial update took over 10 hours to complete. The device started to update the maps. The first time, it gave an estimated download time. It began again after it was at 39%. Time out, rinse repeat. I gave up trying to complete the maps after spending an entire weekend trying to do so. No maps were installed. I searched for support on the website and was directed to the forums. The "submit" button only refreshed the screen when I tried to email through their site. I found a phone number and spoke to a woman who was not real. There is nothing in the way of support. I was able to get MyDriveConnect to briefly display "MyContent" and find the message that the drive is corrupt after I got it to not begin automatically updating. The "Repair" option was greyed out, as was the "Uninstall" option. There isn't enough file space to allow for a download. I was once again directed to the forums by Average Joe Blow, who could possibly give me the answer that the manufacturer could not. What kind of support is there? They don't have to use technical assist and just allow the keyboard warriors to take on the job for free, and if it fails, they've complete deniability. I have to find a new company that I can trust.
👤Brand new! The screen has frozen solid after being connected to my drive connect. It has been cold. Unable to use it. I tried all the fixes that Tom had suggested. Nothing has worked. Tomtom support is not available. The map is on the screen when you turn it on. I connected it to the app. I am out $120. It's useless. The product is a navigation device.
👤There is a large display. The problem is what you can't display. We like to use our gps to measure things. If you follow a programmed route, you can display your speed or speed limit. If you are just driving around and don't know where you are going, your speed and speed limit can't be displayed. This was confirmed by a call to the customer support. We had a navigation device. We had more display options and a better display format on a 5" display. I hope that Amazon will take this thing back and give me my money back. Generalizations provided in the user manual do not apply to this release.
Chipolo ONE has a battery life of up to one year. You can replace the battery in 3 easy steps. The Silicone Protective Case is compatible with the Apple AirTag Key Finder. The package includes a protective case and a holder. The Integrated Keychain design is easy to use and can be used with other things like keys, car keys, pet, cat, dog, airpods, or other devices. The cute cartoon cat foot has a Silicone protective case cover. When clanging with keys, add minimum weight and feel comfortable, as AirTag is protected from dust and scratch. The cut-out shows the logo.
👤The lip around the airtag is too shallow to hold it in place. Thankfully, I will be able to find my tag. It is over an hour away. I have to go back to find it. I switched to a more secure holder.
👤I wish I could get a refund for both of them. Quality was sucked.
👤The airtag has come out several times, but this is a cute holder.
👤The air tag holder is very vulnerable. The air tag is very easy to fall out of. I don't want to give it a single star.
👤The ring hole broke quickly. Within 2 weeks, there are clips that are big.
👤One of the dogs air tags stays in the holder. The other dog has an air tag that pops out of the holder.
👤The item is cute and light for our cat. It seems to work as advertised.

This car gps tracker is a perfect choice if you want to track the safety of people you care about when they drive.
👤This is a scam. I should have done more research on this, but it is based on 2G which the U.S. phased out between the years of 2017 and 2020. SpeedTalkMobile claims to be able to provide coverage, but they are not an overseas company. I should have known that they asked for my credit card info. I figured I would try since I had already spent $80. They will text you a new phone number for your tracker after you have activated your card, with your credit card. You are supposed to be able to call the new number and it will connect to your phone. It doesn't do anything. I'm going to get a new credit card. I can see them trying to charge me. There are videos that show this, and comments underneath which explain the scam. Do not purchase this product or mobile device.
👤I haven't tested the unit in extreme environments yet, but it seems like a solid product for what it's marketed towards. I'm going to be using it for other commercial purposes so I'm probably putting it through more than it's intended. It's holding up great!
👤They are very hard to use and don't like what they are advertised. This item will be returned.
👤The directions didn't make sense. The phone number was supposed to be displayed when the sun card was inserted. Returned it.
👤La batera se sper rpido.
👤Grace was a huge help to redo my tracker account. Two times I have had to contact the sellers and both times they were very helpful and fast. I need a 3rd one soon and will purchase this one again as the tracker and app works great and the customer service is world class. Thank you for your kind words!
👤I like good things. Love Chinese.

👤If you are reading this, you may be like me and prefer a stand alone gps device over a phone. That is out of the way. Having a great gps unit was important to me as I was in sales for many years. I've owned many things through the years. It had been my experience that most of my Garmins had better touch interface and screens than my TomToms. I always preferred TomTom for its better route and better traffic than Garmin. I still have a Drivesmart 55 and it really closed the gap on TomTom as to route, traffic. When I moved to a new state, the gps device put me on the wrong road, or exit numbers were way off, and traffic was never as good as the one on the right side. I decided to buy the latest and greatest new TomTom, Go Discover. This thing is huge and I take 1 star off. I ordered a 7 inch unit, but it still has a lot of size to it, unlike most of the other devices. In any case, the processor has caught up to the Garmins as to not needing to wait with every press of a button, and in any case, the great hi def screen has finally been added to the TomTom. It seems to find your route quicker than any other device. I have been pleased with it's superior ACCURATE route and traffic. It was a bit buggy when I first connected to it. I think the trick was to start the Go Discover first. It's getting traffic data as soon as the TomTom starts. I'm not getting the X that shows no connection to my phone. Live gas prices seem ok, but not sure of the point, as you need to be less than a block from the gas station. By the time you see the price of gas on the TomTom, you already passed the gas station that had the price on their own signs. This seems to be a very well made piece of hardware and it has a great screen. I think this should be at least $50 less, but if you want the best one... I think this is the one to get. Not happy with the use of a suction cup to mount this on a dashboard. The cups lose their grip. The advantage is for mounting the dashboard. I'm very happy with this Go Discover. My device is in a drawer.
👤The parking feature does not work in or around Los Angeles after several email exchanges. I would check to see if the service works in your market. It was difficult to review. It has a 7 inch display. There is one feature that I can't get to work that works well. The off-street and on-street parking features are there. I can see the lots, but no information on pricing or availability is being reproduced. I was told to try a reset, but it didn't work. I feel I need to mark the stars off because you are paying more for this item than the next model down with does not have the gas and parking features, and the other problem is that TomTom is one of those companies that make it impossible to call in to discuss your issues. You have to submit your question in writing. There is no one to walk you through other solutions if their suggestion doesn't work. It's not uncommon for businesses to make it next to impossible to reach someone in person. I want this feature for my trips to Los Angeles, so I'm hopeful I can resolve it. I live 45 minutes away. I'm wondering if I should just send it back and then order the next model.
It's easy to use a gps navigator. The maps are easy to see. alternate routes are suggested by the traffic company. Yes, the backup camera is compatible with BC 30 or BC 40. Voice activated and ability to pair with a compatible phone. Notable historic sites and the U.S national parks directory are part of the HISTORY network. Without a computer, built in wi-fi for map and software updates.
👤I used a cellphone as my primary navigation tool and purchased the DriveSmart 65. The cellphone navigation systems are great, but I didn't like the convenience of the stand-alone units. I didn't like the fact that the navigation apps weren't easy to see when I manually used the phone for a phone call. There are two more Unless you use a different app or download offline maps from the internet, there's no navigation when you don't have cellular coverage. There are 3 more I never found the offline maps to work for me, there was always a problem with resolution that I could not resolve. Offline mode was not always used to work in general. I tried some of the other free offline navigation apps, but they seemed to be behind in updates, and did not seem refined, leaving me with a slight but ever present apprehension in my mind. I didn't like the small screen size when in portrait mode, even though I had an iPhone Plus. There are five The navigation app on my cellphone ran in the background and was not visible to view. I didn't see all of the trip info functions that the vehicle navigators offered. The app navigators had the same trip info, but it was hard to see. The DriveSmart 65 was more expensive than the 55, but the extras screen real estate was worth a few extra dollars for me. It is hardware. The screen is beautiful! Great resolution and bright colors. The brightness is turned up all the way. The 6.9 inch is the perfect size for me since I like to have all of the trip data functions showing on the screen at all times while allowing for ample space for the map/ navigation which is the most important part. The screen seems to be made of glass, but I am not sure if it is scratch resistant. The frame has a minimal amount of bezel which adds to visual appeal but makes accidental touches easy when trying to adjust the postition/angle of the unit on the mount. The screen is responsive to touch and there is little lag navigating through the menus, as it should be for a device at this price point. The speaker is loud and clear. I don't know what processor is in the unit, but I hope it is an upgrade from last year's model. It is smart to get the best hardware within your means, especially if you plan on keeping the device for several years, to ensure it will be able to effectively run the software updates. I don't like the way the power cord plugs into the back of the device. It would be great if it was plugged into the side or bottom, because it would be easier to mount the device on a desk if the power cord was not sticking out. The mount is standard and works well for mounting on a window, but I have seen it fall off of a vehicle. I bought a friction dash mount from Garmin because it seems to work well for now. I can't state my findings because I haven't had the battery disconnected from a power source for that long. It is very easy to use the software. It seems that the years of production have allowed time for most bugs to be worked out. The high detail map option provides a lot of detail and is helpful in keeping the user oriented from a geographical perspective. When you zoom out with the intent to use it indefinitely, the unit will automatically zoom you back in to the default setting, even though it does not really want you to have full reign on the map. You can have phone notifications for email/text/etc to show on the unit if you sync your phone to it. The option to make and receive phone calls when you sync the device to your phone is available for those that may need it. The unit has the ability to update maps without a computer. After attempting to update the maps 4 times, I got error code each time and the device aborted the process. Maybe it is because my internet connection is not high-speed. It will be great to see if there is a similar issue among other people. The maps will have to be updated with a PC. Conclusions: The device performs well as expected. Excellent native route planning and accurate navigation. The screen is bright and high resolution. It's right in the sweet spot. I am not convinced that the features this unit offers are practical enough to justify the higher price. If the processor is better than last year's model, this is a good value. It was a factual decision. I don't have to use my phone as my main navigation when I have a stand-alone navigator. Happy with the purchase, even though I mentioned some things. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a navigator.
The large, easy-to-read 7” touchscreen has a bright, crisp, high-resolution display. You can get a custom truck route based on the size and weight of your truck, and you can see upcoming bridge heights, sharp curves and more. You can view parking information along your route. You can use the Preloaded Truck & Trailer Services directory to find truck stops. Load-to-dock guidance shows potential loading zones or storage lots when approaching your destination. See popular routes used by fellow drivers. You can use the voice assistant to talk to the navigator while keeping your hands on the wheel. If you want to use the ELD for hours of service recording, you need to pair the eLog with the app on your phone or tablet. 👤This thing is a quality piece of hardware. It's durable, functional, boots up quickly and works well, unlike some gps units I've had. garmin's maps suck. This thing assures me that my maps are current and up-to-date, but they make mistakes all the time. It tries to send me to closed roads that no longer exist. The biggest flaw with this unit is that it doesn't have a "detour" button like previous garmin gps units. If it wants you to take a road that's closed for roadwork, it's as stubborn as a horse's ass, and will not change its mind. The only way to re-route is to manually enter a different route. garmin, bring back the detour button. It's better than not having a gps at all, but it still has some major flaws that will annoy you.
👤I own a lot of cars. I tried it for a week next to my maps and was not happy with the gps. Without the phone app it won't show traffic. When I received a phone call I didn't like the idea of connecting to my phone, it switched from my phone to the gps. That was making me nervous. I like to deal with maps on the internet for $400. It would be perfect if the bridge heights were known by the maps.
👤I took a few to get used to it. I like the fact that I don't need to hook up to a computer and go through a bunch of steps to update. I have been using for a month and it has been great. Don't leave your gps plugged in all the time, that's a tip I learned from the last one. You will shorten the life span of the battery by burning it up.
👤Can't find addresses on the screen.
👤The best gps I have had. It definitely could use improvement. It doesn't connect to a car, RV, or truck's stereo system to allow the sound of directions to be heard through the speaker system. Once you have downloaded the Garmin Drive app, you can use all of the features on it. The gps doesn't have an auxillary plug area. Sometimes it's hard to hear directions when driving. It's definitely better than my previous units. I would give it 4 stars if it was possible to play directions through the speakers.
👤The product was easy to setup. Sell asked about the item the same day. The service is top notch. Will buy from them again with hesitation.
👤Awesome! I needed a 7” screen. Can not go wrong.
👤I am happy with the device so far. It looks good and he is doing a good job. There is a job.
👤If I want to use this garmin, I have to plug it in all the time, and I don't think I'll buy any electronics from Amazon in the future.
