POSITIONING TECHNOLOGY If your dogs are out of bounds, you can shock them with aGPS location technique, which is more stable and accurate than the other traditional wireless fence. Strong anti- interference ability. The traditional wireless fence signals can be easily disturbed by metal or obstacles. The stability of gps signals is better than that of radio-frequency signals, so they use gps technique to avoid the same problem, you never have to worry about your dogs being accidentally injured. TheMATIC PROTECTION DESIGN If your dog leaves the boundary zone, the stimulation is limited to 20 seconds and shuts off for one minute before you repeat it for another two minutes. It will suspend work if there is no gps signals. IDEAL FOR USE IN THE ENVIRONMENT. The fence is more suitable for a wide open lakeside area so that the product can receive a gps signal. Due to the location system, it is not suitable to use near a house or in a tree covered area where the gps signal will be blocked. It can't be used on cloudy days. 1 year warranty. They take good care of their customers. If you don't like the item, you can return it and get a full refund within 90 days. There is a one year warranty as well. If you need help setting up the dog fence, training your dogs or dealing with any issues, contact their customer care center.
👤I bought this hoping it would work, but expecting it to fail based on reviews. I've been surprised by how well it works. I wouldn't use this in a small yard or space because of the gps. My dog learned to turn the other way when she heard the first signal tone, even though I was seeing about 3 meters of variance in the first signal tone. She has a lot of space to run because I'm running a radius of about 310 meters. If the battery dies or you turn off the collar, it will reset so you have to go through the process of setting it up again. When I bring the dog to the house, I put it on the charging port. Don't turn it off, you don't have to setup it every day. It will charge when turned on. The biggest pain point is the fact that the collar doesn't save the setup. The prongs could have been used in a 3rd longer set. The longest it came with didn't work with my dog. And then it works well.
👤The collar could be 5 stars. It is emphasized that could. The first collar we bought was returned because it broke in no time. We were within our return window. We decided to glue the broken piece on the collar so that it wouldn't fall off, as we really need the gps boundary for our property. The battery is no longer usable two weeks after the deadline. It is useless now because of this. I really like the idea of this collar, but I wish it was more durable and had a longer battery life. Being over $100 each time it is purchased makes for a high cost. Either they need more durable materials in this collar or they need to make the warranty much longer to compensate for the poor materials.
👤It stopped charging. It's useless now. It was hard to use. I had to stand outside in my center spot every morning to set the collar. I had to stand there for a while without moving before it got the signal. I like the idea of a collar. Even when the dog is not out of bounds, the thing will start buzzing. It scares the dog and he runs away, not knowing why he's being punished. I wish there was a device like this that worked.
👤This product was supposed to let the dogs roam but stay close to the house, so they could stay on the farm. I returned both units because of disappointing issues. The battery life is the first issue. The longest time either unit would hold a charge was 4-5 hours. Each day the amount of time the units held a charge decreased. One unit would not hold a charge for more than 15 minutes by the sixth day. You have to reset the distance and gps center-point each time the unit is turned off. I knew this before, but the battery issues made it worse. Both units showed the same issues, so they decided to return them. They kept the dogs within 200 meters of the house when they were working. The concept needs to be refined.
The kit can be expanded to cover 100 acres with more wire and flags. The collar has two-hour quick charge and one to two month battery life. The technology of the dryer. Contain an unlimited number of dogs with more than one collar. And up. Tone and vibration are given by the collar before moving to one of seven static stimulation levels.
👤Don't expect the dog to learn on their own. The dog will learn quickly if you put it on a fence. If you put it in the yard, it's confusing to the dogs and they might not use the full area. Don't use 24/7. Instructions say to not use more than 12 hours a day. If you don't take these off, the dog's neck will get sores and you'll be out of use until they heal. We know from experience. We try to give them more nights without them than with them, but we don't always take them off at night. They get a break. I'm sure they don't land on the same spot when we put them back on. Our dogs come into the garage at night. If you use a shock collar, I recommend you consider the same plan. There are many settings. If you don't know how to use these, you may return them thinking they don't work. How to turn them on, how to set the shock intensity, and how to set the boundary space are some of the things to learn. Depending on your yard size and dog attitude, you'll want to find the right setting for those things. When I need to charge it, I like the flashing green light and red light. The batteries last a long time. We're very happy with our purchase. We have two big dogs that work great at less than 12 the intensity. If you get these, read the instructions and start at the lowest level. My dog jumps up in the air and barks at level 4. Don't assume your dog needs full intensity, it's not the highest setting. These are great. The older version is better for size and functions, but they are smaller.
👤An 18 month old Doberman requires a lot of exercise. It has been a challenge to prevent him from disappearing into the woods. We take him to the dog park to blow off steam, but that's not always an option. We'd like to provide him with a lot of free space, but it's expensive. I ordered this product after researching the invisible fence. Installation was easy. The yard is large and surrounded by woods. We used up all the wiring. I picked up another 500' of invisible fence wire from the store. We looped 1500 feet of wire around the yard. We had a crack running across the driveway at around the halfway point between the house and the road that we filled with driveway repair goop. I used the edger attachment on my weed whacker to cut trenches and bury the wire in the rest of the yard. We used landscaping staple to secure the wire under the bushes and around the perimeter. Nature should do the rest. I used a drill to twist the wires that cross through the containment area and put them in the garage. The collar was set to be triggered by the transmitter at 5' away from the wire. The collar is set to the lowest level, which my wife and I tried on our arms to see what it felt like. It was time to train after everything was tested. We walked the dog around the perimeter. We would stop at random flags and say "no!", walk past them and then walk close enough to the wire to cause the static. That's all it took. I thought we'd be following the training guide for a month but he won't go near any of the flags if he's chasing birds, rabbits, balls, the kids or our other dog. He's on a leash. We get close to the flags and he stops and lays down. We couldn't recommend this more because it's a game-changer for us and our active boy.
500 feet of boundary wire was included. 5 more wire can be added to the yard. Leave your dog inside the fencing zone without taking off his collar if you want to train him with the remote. It's a great collar for tough tasks for indoor and outdoor sports. Add as many collar as you want. Up to 3 dogs can be remotely controlled. It's a great collar for tough tasks for indoor and outdoor sports.
👤The seller is incredible, I ordered it Saturday night and received it the following Monday, 1.5 days later, impressive! I have had a Pet Is Safe system for 6 years, but it has been discontinued and a plastic collar needs to be replaced, so I am replacing it with a new system. I went to a big box to buy a large amount of 14 gauge. I wanted to mess with it once because the job is hard. I would never install a 23 gauge because of the difference in cost between 14 gauge and 23 gauge. I don't know what I would use the 23 gauge for. I am okay with KoolKani doing this, just be careful when comparing prices and choose the wire you will use. The manual states that the power adapter should be plugged into a standard 240-volt household outlet. A standard household outlet in the US is 120. The plug is standard and won't fit into a 240v receptacle, I assume a mistake, and the back of the transmitter says "Input:12V DC", however the power adapter that supplies DC to the transmitter states that I'm not an electrician but it seems like the power adapter is delivering more power than the transmitter can handle. The transmitter was dead on arrival, it did not power on when the power supply was attached. There are four There is no website, phone number or access to customer service in the box. I will update my review with a working system after I get my replacement unit from Amazon. I should be able to update by the end of the week.
👤I am satisfied with the collars, especially for the price. We have used ecollars in the past with a previous Lab, and she did great with the collar, it was very easy to use. My dogs are just starting to be trained on leash, and the system has been easy to install, with the outer boundary wire. The older one does well and recognizes the tone right away, and the younger still has a way to go, but that is expected. She is still young. The ability to control the systems use of tone/vibration range with one setting is amazing. I am happy that I can turn the shock range off and only use the tone/vibration. The ability to turn it off during the training period is great because I want to start training them both, but didn't want to be confusing or over stimulating her. I only have a few minor annoyances that are related to how the remote works. It's very difficult to choose between vibration or tone or shock signal type and which dog you want to stimulation, and then hit the transmit button. I have buzzed the wrong pup or used the wrong tone. It would be nicer if you chose a dog, then hit the button for tone and shock. It would be great if there was an option to transmit to both dogs at the same time. You have to choose one to transmit, wait for it to finish, switch dogs, and transmit that signal. When they run at the same time it is chaotic and only one at a time can bring them back. It would be great if the third slot on the remote could be set to hit both collars at the same time. The intensity levels consist of a combination of the duration and intensity. The stimulation length is based on how long I press the button. This is how my system worked before. The pups would often be back on focus after a quick tap. A longer press would keep stimulating until they shook off the distraction and resumed following commands. The unit only has the ability to pick a length of time based on an intensity choice and it's nearly impossible to switch intensities in the field since you have to be sure your dog is the right one. The remote is consumed completely and you can not change dogs, types of stim or intensity. A second to two second delay between being able to send commands and being able to do so. A couple seconds is an eternity of troublemaking opportunity for any dog. The collar itself is hard to get on and off, which is one of the minor irritants common to all ecollars. A quick release collar would be nice. I am sure that would add cost. A general issue that makes it harder to put the collar on right consistently is not a ding against this collar. As I learn more, I will update. I will give it time to see if I can overcome the limitations that I have noted, so that I can use one system for two dogs.
It is easy to install. The complete kit includes a waterproof dog collar receiver, a 24V power adapter for transmitter, a test light, 2 sets of contact points, and 500 feet of wire. The receiver and transmitter are easy to use. Features to help dogs learn quickly. Tone only mode for sensitive dogs means less stress for them, over-stimulation prevention means less stress for them, and run-through prevention means static stimulation that increases automatically if your dog tries to run through the boundary zone. Consumer brands are often recommended by professional dog trainers. Their only concern is your complete satisfaction. They offer a two-year warranty on registered products against manufacturer defects. For US market only.
👤Customer service was good and responded to email quickly. After trying to program the collars 3 or 4 more times, they started working correctly. Other reviewers said that you can't hear the audible tone. I can hear the tone when I hold them in my hand and approach the fence. It's a loud sound. If they are working correctly, you should be able to hear the chirps. The programming issue has led to me being upgraded to 3 stars. We did the same programming process many times and it was obvious when they started working right that it wasn't responding correctly. Not very pleased with the product. We bought a second collar. The system has two problems. We returned the second collar because it didn't work correctly, and bought a new one. The replacement has the same problem. When it is close to the wire, it emits a loud chirp. It makes the same sound when you put it on the transmitter. The first collar does not make a sound. The second collar doesn't seem to be programmed. We put it on a small dog. The first collar was tested at this level and it was barely noticeable. My dog got a shock when she approached the fence. The shock level was very strong after we checked it. It gave a very strong shock when we set it to 0, which should be no shock. We know we are programming it correctly because it works with the first collar. The "tone" is not audible to humans. I don't know if it's emitting a tone or not, and I can't time my verbal reinforcement to coincide with it because I can't hear it.
👤The first fence system we put in was not well received by my young Springer. His body responded to the stimulation in a complete rush. It would cause him to fly through the yard jumping at us, biting us and everything in his path. He was too sensitive and we needed to find a better way to adjust him. We found that with the fence system. You can adjust the stimulation on a scale of 1 to 30 for your dog, containment field width, and size. It made a difference. We started him at level one and adjusted his level to six out of 30, which is perfect for him and his temperament.
👤When my Invi$ible Fence system died of old-age, I bought this system and collar. The cost is very good compared to the fence. You can install this system if you have half of a chestnut in your brain. I have 3 large breed/high drive dogs. There are Collars that can be programmed for stimulation level and other items. The dogs do not break through the fence, I had a collar issue and they said "sounds like a battery, we will send you a new one", other companies soak you on batteries.
👤My dog is happy because he knows his boundaries and has the freedom to roam. It's the best system I've found. It's easy to turn off the control box and take him over the line. The collar lasts over 4 weeks. While learning the boundaries, there are lots of adjustments to increase correction. It is easy to install. I highly recommend it. It's worth it.

👤I've bought three shock collar through Amazon. I need to test them on myself before I use them on my dog. I returned the first two collars because of their shock intensity. I exchanged them because I thought they were faulty. The result was the same. I noticed that other people submitted complaints about the same observation. I decided to buy this collar because it had no complaints. When I got it, I was happy to feel no pain at all. I didn't notice much of a tingle until I reached level 10, but I cautiously increased the level. I found out that decreasing it all the way back to 01 did not decrease the intensity of the shock that I felt. There are two more I observed wildly inconsistent shock intensities when I retested. The shocks I felt at level two were not acceptable. I initially felt like they were more intense than they were. There is a I am returning this product because I'm very disappointed.
👤I am a canine trainer. We don't use e collars for our dogs, however I decided to give this a try on my son's Australian Shepherd. My son's former dog is now my dog. She is a dominant dog and will not behave unless on a leash. We got her as a puppy a few months before all the lock downs and she's not been very used to strangers and loves to bark. It was easy to set this up. I found the set up guide and manual very well written. I charged the coller and controller for the first time. The charge lasts forever. Like weeks. The battery life was very good. The first training session was with the little Satan. She barely noticed the coller was on. I used rubber coverings for her comfort. The controller is easy to figure out, there's a button for warning, vibrate, and shock. She was taken outside in my yard and started to play fetch with her ball. Getting the ball back off the leash is a pain. Gave her an out command, waited a second, then hit the audible beep. She dropped the ball. Progress, good. I can recall her fairly confidently after 3 days, when she went to vibration a couple times and had to go to shock on lowest setting. There is a The most important step in training a dog is patience, which this product shouldn't be used to ignore. If used correctly, it's not cruel. I don't want my dog to get hit by a car, or fear a stranger, but I do want her to have a little bit of uneasiness. I gave this 5 stars because it was an excellent value.
👤Can not say enough good about this collar. The design, construction, and reliability of this collar make it one of the best I have owned in recent years. I would put this up against a dogtra. The lock feature is easy to use. The receiver on my neck is slim. The protectors have been wearing like iron. The ability to change the tone of the beeps is probably my favorite feature of this collar. It's genius that different beeps are used for different training goals. I had spoken to their customer service about my concerns about getting a collar with few reviews. They made sure that I was happy with the transaction and made contact with me several times after to make sure that I was satisfied. It is hard to find that these days. This veteran owned business and their training collar is recommended by 100%. The collar is worth more than the cost.
There is 1/2 Acre of circus coverage. The range can cover up to 1/2 acres if the portable indoor transmitter is placed there. There is no wire toBURY. A wireless boundary is a great way to protect your pets without the hassle of burying wires. There is static-free resale. The wireless fence allows your pet to return home without being corrected if they pass the boundary. This portable system is great for camping and vacation homes. The roof is waterproof. The waterproof collar is compatible with all PetSafe Wireless Fence transmitters. Long battery life. The PetSafe RFA-67D-11 battery lasts up to 2 months before the low battery indicator warns you to replace the battery. Your dog's collar setting should be tailored to you. Your pets can stay in the secure play area with a sound only training mode and 5 levels of static on his receiver collar. You can add more than one pet with the addition of unlimited number of collars.
👤The Petsafe Wireless Containment System has been with us for two years. It was purchased on Amazon. We followed the directions as we trained our German Shepherd. Things worked well at first. Our dog knew where she was. The system worked when it was needed, and our dog knew to run back to the house when she went too far. The system became more and more inconsistent as time went on. Consistency is important for German Shepherds. The system would start to shock her when she was inside her zone. Sometimes the system wouldn't shock her when she went beyond her boundary. We tried plugging the transmitter back in. We changed her batteries. We tried to make her circle smaller. It would go back to its old ways eventually. The last straw was today. A man and his dog walked by as I was outside with our German Shepherd. My dog ran to the other dog because the system has been so inconsistent recently. I was able to call her back right away, but I could tell the other dog owner was a little scared. I don't blame him. My dog should have stayed indoors. The system did not work. The collar started zapping my dog as I brought her into the house, safely within the containment system. She is terrified to go into our kitchen and back door after she freaked out. I'm done with this product. I can't recommend it because it works for people who love their pet. It can cause more damage than good. I would like it to work. I wish it fulfilled its promise. I paid for something and wish I got it. I have a dog who gets shocked inside the house, but is safe inside her circle and doesn't get shocked when she goes outside.
👤I followed all the directions to the letter. There are no large metal objects interfering with the transmission at our property. We don't relax when we let her out because there is no signal in certain areas, so we watch her constantly. This is against the purpose. She jumped high in the air when she reached the perimeter when I put it on the lowest setting. It was pretty brutal, I tested it on myself. I wish I could send this back, but first of all, they packaged it so you have to destroy the box to open it. Since we were very motivated to make this work, we hung in there trying different locations and settings, but it is past the return date. If you're lucky enough to get a functioning unit, this is a good price.
👤This thing is priceless to me, and I wish I had known that there was a wireless fence system that you didn't have to tear up your yard to use, because it could have saved me and my family from some serious heartbreak. We had two husky babies that we adopted from our local shelters and one of them was a wanderer, the other was a 6 month old male. One day he was outside playing with my husband and kids while they were washing the car and was killed by a truck not more than 100 yards from our house. I cried and my kids cried. It was one of my favorite purchases I've ever made for our family members, and I invested in it literally the next day. You can set the range to fit your yard and keep your family safe. My husky is a stubborn girl and it only took 2 times to shock her into realizing she didn't like that one bit. It felt like a shock when I tested it on myself. My girl has long hair and it just annoyed her more than anything. It was effective and did its job perfectly. She's not afraid to leave the yard on a leash, she knows if my husband or I are going to take her out of the yard, her collar is off. She's allowed to cross the boundary for a walk. Love it. It took about 15 minutes to set the entire thing up and 3 days for my dog to be completely trained, I wish I had heard of it sooner. I said it was a lifesaver.
The 2nd Generation eXtreme Dog Fence STANDARD GRADE Kit covers up to 6 acres. The updated electronics are designed to work with new collar options. 3 Antennas, 12x battery check. This dog fence has a one year warranty. Your warranty lasts for 5 years when you register your fence. This fence has been manufactured for more than 25 years and has a reputation for reliability and performance. The electric fence for dogs are manufactured in the United States of America. They are standing by to help you set up your fence, train your dogs and puppies, or deal with any issue that comes up.
👤The Extreme Dog Fence system took about 4 hours to install, but I am happy with the results for my mastiff. I was a little worried about the training, and made several calls for reassurance to the manufacturer, who I must say was absolutely amazing, even answering the phone on a Sunday and showing a lot of patience, and Johnny Allen who gave me amazing advice and instructions. It took about 10 minutes for him to understand the dog fence flags and Johnny told me not to let him off the leash until he was conditioned. We now let Brutus out for 4 to 5 hours a day, and he likes to chase squirrels, he is a big dog, and it is nice to see him lying in the sun and enjoying life. Many of my friends told me that it was cruel to leave a dog chained up in the house all day and that the electric dog fence was cruel. I have dealt with customer support overseas, where I spend a lot of time on the phone and rarely get my problem solved, and I feel less confident with the support I am given. It was refreshing to get American based customer support and an American made product. I researched many different products on the internet but chose extreme because of the reviews I found and the company who would support me during the selection, installation, training and long term support. I am confident that this won't be an issue, because I have received a high level of service so far. There are some highlights from my experience. Customer service and support are outstanding. Product 3 was very well made. 7 days a week phone support. I can honestly say that I don't know how I lived without this system after using it. My friends will be told about my experience. Team Extreme...you guys are awesome. The family is called the Blanchards.
👤When shopping for a product on Amazon, I rely on customers' reviews. The company will give a 1-year free supply of batteries to customers if they get a 5 star review. That may explain the high rating this product is receiving. This product is not more effective than the PetSafe invisible fence and is more expensive than other products. I bought dog leashes for my dogs. I could not use the collar to train my dog. I did not receive the promised number of flags. The size of the batteries is not standard, so you need to buy them from the company for twice the price of similar batteries. The batteries are always used even when the system is not connected to the electricity because the collar does not have a switch on/off. Everything else is similar to PetSafe and not unique to this company. The product keeps my dogs within the parameters. The company and customers who accepted the bribe were dishonest.
👤I did a lot of research before making a decision. My German Shephard mix is a very smart dog and she was able to get underneath the chain link fence and visit the neighbors at our new house. The chain link fence was never going to cut it with a houdini dog, so I decided to purchase a better deterrent. I chose this brand because of: 1. The price was competitive. 2. The thicker wire and lightening protectors were included instead of the nickel-and-diming ones. 3. The strength of the correction on the collar is very strong. 4. It was very convenient to have twisted wire. I was surprised at how easy it was to set it up. I separated the front and back yards by running it along the bottom of the chain link fence. This resulted in a slightly wider boundary from the fence than the rest of the yard, which did not bother me because this was the section of fence my dog kept digging under and pushing up. The programming was easy to understand and the electronics were easy to set up. My houdini dog has not escaped the yard since I installed this system a month ago. I was impressed by the company that called and followed me to see how the installation went. Great customer service.

👤I had originally given this product 5 stars. A picture of my cat wearing a product was posted. Within 2 weeks, the tracker stopped giving me the right area at the right time to find and secure my pet. At one point, the tracker showed my cat was 4 miles away. I was trying to find him in the dark woods. He was in the yard. I almost had an attack of hyperventilation. I called customer service after trying to reset. None. I sent it back to Amazon after having 3 events like this within a few days. Get this! You can't cancel the subscription when you send it back. A whole 114 dollars was gone. They won't refunds. Don't purchase before you think. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps someone else.
👤It's a waste of money. The live tracking is useless, our dog ran off and it displayed where he had been but not where he was real time as it claims. I used email to contact customer service. I'm on day 6 waiting for a reply, I think I should get a refund for this product, it's not good, but I'll see if I get one.
👤We bought this for our cat. My goal was to keep an eye on where he goes and how often he crosses a busy street so we can decide if he should stay. We might use this tracker permanently going forward, since it was not the original plan. You can set a very precise digital fence. It was important to me to know when he crosses the street on our block. I was surprised that I could drag the fence lines up to the sidewalk. You can set any shape along any road or property line you need. You can see a heat map of where he went during the last 24 hours, and see where he spent less time. It's funny. I use this to find out how often he goes into areas that are less safe. See the picture. Live tracking works well if he's in a wooded area, but you get notifications when he enters/exits the digital fence. If I'm trying to bring him inside and need to know where to look for him, this helps. I don't worry about the physical tracker coming off because it has a secure connection piece to his collar. It is easy to charge, and I find it lasts a few days. I let my cat in and out. I can check the battery life before I let him out. If your cat has a door to come and go, I can see the battery life being a little annoying to monitor. The app sends a notification if the charge is low, so I think battery life and charging work well here. It's easy to use and gives me the information I need. His position doesn't always update for 30-40 minutes. I have to turn on Live Tracking to get a more current read if I check on where he is. I don't know if the app would have known if he crossed the fence. I worry I might not be able to call him back when he's crossing the road. The app doesn't seem to have gaps on his position when I look at his historical heat map. The tracker is big for a cat. I was worried that it was too heavy for his neck, but eventually I was comfortable connecting it to his collar. He doesn't seem to care about it anymore. My cat is about 12 pounds. See the picture. The activity/exercise tracking features are not necessary for an animal. I only use historical heat map features. When he went into a treed area, I lost signal for 45 minutes. It took me an hour to realize he was off the grid because the app didn't tell me a signal had been lost. I panicked because live tracking wouldn't work, since it hadn't happened before. After I walked the block calling for him, he popped out on the app close to home after ignoring my calls. I don't think that area is "heavily wooded." I have a lot of evergreen trees and mature landscaping on the block. If you live among a lot of trees, you could lose signal often. There was a gap in his historical heat map tracking for that period. I don't like paying for gps tracking. I'm willing to pay for it because the app works well and I get a precise location on him to solve my problem. The tracker's up front cost was low enough to cover the ongoing cost.

👤If you enjoy being on hold while waiting to talk to someone, then buy this if you love having to make immediate trips to your local hardware store, spending Saturdays working on a project that you've already worked on and know that any results of your labor will likely be lost within a few I wasted a lot of time and money trying to make this system work, and I am so frustrated that I am not going to do anything else. There is a background. I grew up in the house we live in. An invisible fence was installed by a local company when we were young. It worked well for over 15 years. There were occasional breaks when we would dig a hole or aerate the yard. Those were easy to fix. No "partial break" issues. I can't find the collar from the old system when we get a dog. I decided to give it a try because buying a new collar was more expensive than the whole PetSafe system. It worked well for about 6 months, then we started having issues with the loop light going off. Sometimes it would turn back to normal by itself. I would turn off the power occasionally. It would work again. Sometimes I would have to plug in the "Break Locator" and after that it wouldn't work again, but only for a while. A new transmitter has been received. For a few months, I worked. Same issues as before. PetSafe told me that it must be a partial break again. There was no way to see any breaks because the wire was buried. PetSafe's break could not pick up any breaks. The signal was strong around the whole loop. I replaced the wire in our yard. I pulled up the old sections. We got a 3rd transmitter in January. The random beeping started last week. I came home and it was loud. I switched the power on/off for the first time. But again, it was beeped. The person on the phone with PetSafe still thinks it's a partial break. We haven't worked on the yard. I don't understand how a wire can break randomly in 3 months. It could be that the wire is wrapped too tight or not tight enough. Really? Why would it work for 3 months and then go out? I don't have anything left to deal with this. I'm looking for an alternative and would love a recommendation.
👤It worked well for the first week. Our dog ran and walked through it without being shocked. Everything was set up without a shock or a beep. It was too unreliable and disappointing.
👤Have a dog. Doesn't work with him. He doesn't care about the shock at level 5. He ignores it after it worked for 1/2 a day.
👤I bought this in June. The battery connections are not the same. The things should last more than 4 months with what they cost.
👤I paid $80 for a collar that didn't have a battery, but I haven't used it yet.

👤The first charge was for over four hours. It was unplugged and sync fine. The transmitters lights are not on. I tried to reset and replenish but it didn't work out.
👤After 30 days, stop working. When the box was plugged in, it didn't always work outside.
👤It was broken into pieces. Not even usable.
👤The batter stays charged. The product never worked.

👤On the first day I received it, it was wonderful. I could see where my cat would go in the live view because it had a clear signal. The next day there were big problems. It doesn't see gps, it gives false locations, the power saving zone is no longer recognized, and so on. He came home and didn't see that he was home because the device/app couldn't see where he was for three hours. I've been on the phone with customer service and I've reset and restarted. They had me go for a walk around the neighborhood with the tracker in my pocket, but so far that has proved to be of no use. I didn't know why I was working so well the first day and then nothing the next day. The weather has been nice. It was very frustrating. There is a The activity part of the device is pretty neat. If this works and the problem is fixed in the next week or so, I will change my rating. New replacement works great! OK. I have been through two replacements and after experiencing frustration with the second replacement, Tractiv, they sent me out a third one saying the issue might have been that I was on T-Mobile. I received a new one on March 3 with a different kind of elastic retainer for the collar and it was in a box with a dog on it. It might be a tiny bit larger than the original one I received, but it works perfectly! After five days of using the activity monitor, the battery was down to 42%, and I was able to track him live when he did go out. I set up the power saving zone in my home so that it would read it perfectly, as well as the safety zones. It tells me when he leaves the zone I made on the app. The gps signal is always clear. They delivered on what I wanted. I hope it works in the future.
👤I have a small cat that likes to hunt at night. I have tried many different trackers for her and this one is my favorite. I've tried many different trackers for her. I traded my dog's Whistle collar for the one I bought for my cat because I loved the Tractive collar so much. The collar is designed to track pets. I felt like the whole interface is better because the Jiobit was not. The app is user friendly. I like the app. It is easy to use and has cool features like allowing your pet to compete with others in the area for most activity. It allows you to share your cat's location with family and friends. It's affordable. The collar is cheap and the plan is less expensive. I pay a little more for the protection plan. Tracking my cat's activity, calories burned, calm minutes and time sleeping is fun. Great tracking features make it fun. Every few seconds, your cat's location is updated on the tracker. The tracker blinks during live tracking. Live tracking allows me to get my cat in the woods if I am close enough to see a blinking light in the dark. The app can give you notifications when your cat enters or leaves a virtual fence. I put one in my yard. This feature is very useful when trying to get the cat in during the day or in the evening, as it gives her a notification when she enters the yard and I can grab her. Excellent accuracy. In areas where cell service is bad, the tracker is not always the most accurate. I wouldn't say any of the trackers I have tried for my cat are superb. I was excited when tractive introduced this because it is one of my favorite features on my dog's whistle tracker. Tractive did not do a good job with this. It interfered with my virtual fence. If the Whistle collar is in the range of the internet, you could use it to see if your cat is in the vicinity or not. It was bulky. My cat is 7.5 lbs. It connects nicely to her collar. The rubber sleeve that comes with the cat collar is more comfortable for her than the other collar. I think she doesn't mind wearing it. The appearance. The navy sleeve is much better than the cat-specific collar. I would like it to be a little smaller. I love this collar. It is easy to use, has cool extra features, and gets the job done at a fraction of the cost as a whistle. I would recommend people with cats that don't like to come in at night to get an indoor cat.
