Bhcey Intelligent Electric Fence System combines function of Wireless Dog Fence and Remote Training Collar, Bhcey adopted the most advance 2.4G signal resources which provide much more stable and accurate signal transmission to avoid your dog be shocked accidentally caused by the bad signal. Help to train your pet. Under Training Collar Mode, it can control 3 dogs at the same time. There are 3 functions that can be chosen from the screen. Sound, shock, and vibration. There are 3 intense levels to adjust. 4PCS of Silicone caps, 2 small ones for short hair dogs, 2 large ones for long hair dogs, as well as 4PCS ofconductive posts, come with them. Under Wireless Fence Mode, one transmitter can connect with several receiver collars. You don't need to pair them manually, they will be connected after power on. The signal range is from 30ft to 1000ft. When your dog is out of range, the receiver collar will make a noise and send a mild electrical shock to your dog. The transmitter and receiver collar can be charged. The receiver needs 1-2 hours to be fully charged and the transmitter needs 4-5 hours. You could take the battery out to any place you need. The size of the collar belt can be adjusted from 8 to 28 inches, which makes it suitable for all size dogs. It is made of reflective fluorescent TPU material, which improves the safety of dogs at night. Aweec designed a holder that can hold the transmitter on the desk or on the wall, and they suggest to place it above the ground. Hang on the wall for the best signal transmission. The electric fence transmitter and receiver collar are made of waterproof material, which means that your dog can get wet in the grass, mess with the sprinkler or play in the rain.
👤Even though I can see some improvements that could be made, it works well for the price and I shared that with manufacturers. We live on almost 2 acres and I was able to get it to cover our property and the surrounding woods. I like to keep the collar loose and allow the dog to just hear and feel, as I think shock level 1 is too strong. The signal is affected by walls hills but the bottom line is it still works and creates a boundary. It takes a lot of walking and listening for beep to figure out what setting works for your property, but once you get it figured out it serves its purpose well! I think it's a good training collar, but there's room for improvement. It is definitely worth the cost compared to similar products.
👤It vibrates but doesn't shock. My dog keeps running until it gets out of range. Will return the item.
👤The wireless fence was not perfect. The collar would stop working. Even though he was standing next to the transmitter, my dog got shocked. Absolutely ridiculous that they would sell something that was so dangerous. Would not recommend.
👤This invisible fence and dog training collar is something I am very happy to have. I was attracted by the fact that it could be hung on the wall of our house or placed on the desk. The wireless system is using a better signal than the WIFI signal. When I hang the transmitter inside my house, the signal is still very strong and can penetrate through the walls, even though the seller told us that it is better to use an open area. It's very easy to set up, just test the range and put the collar on the dog. The Western Highland dog that we have is 2 years old and has learned to stay in her safety area instead of running outside on the road. The customer services advised me to loosen the collar to avoid my dog being shocked. She will run back when she hears the beeps. When my dog is playing outside, she seems to enjoy a new freedom and peace of mind. Our dog wears the collar all day long and we charge it once a week, it is good because it is a good size for different dogs. When the battery of the transmitter box is running out, the receiver collar will sound. It could be charged while using. The system has everything we could have hoped for and we love it. Plug in and press the button to change the size of the range, this product doesn't need installation, digging, or buried lines in the ground. If you register your product by email, it will be extended to two years. Highly recommended!
👤I tried to like this product because I needed it, my dogs chase vehicles and go into other peoples yards. I want them to stay here. It was nice to hear that it set up a wireless fence, but it was also a remote and you could change it back and forth. The wireless fence would allow me to leave them outside while I was not at home and they would stay in the yard. The first setting is supposed to be at least 30 feet and it wouldn't let them go past 5 feet without being yelled at. I tried to turn up the setting to see if I could make it a further distance. I tried to change the distance but they stayed the same spot. I would have to turn it off if they were walking next to me because I wanted my dog to be able to see me. I hated it because I had to hurry up and get it turned off before it started shocking them. I had the remote above the ground and followed all the directions. It would not be a good idea.

👤Don't buy! I knew this only worked with a subscription. They said it was free, but couldn't get that to work so they paid for a subscription. I tried to use the device while on the dog or in my hand, but it didn't work. I drove 30 miles through town with it on my dash and it said no history. I still have 1-2 bars of mostly 4G and can make and receive calls, even though the cell signals are weak here. I gave up after 3 days of trying. Amazon accepted the return. The cancellation and refund of the subscription service is a nightmare because of the active website from Austria. You can get a refund within 14 days, but how? They don't allow you to remove your method of payment and only say that it will go away if you cancel your subscription. The only way to get a refund is to request an RMA, however they have a link to request an email address and order number. The order number does not exist, even if they show it in their link of where to find it. I have account numbers, invoice numbers, transaction IDs and 888-349-8884 They don't have a phone number for support or a chat option. We'll see how that goes after I filled out the form. I submitted a request to dispute my documentation because I kept good records and took screen shots throughout the process. They are also off. I gave it a full charge for several hours on Tuesday. After lunch I put it on my dog's collar and he went in and out of the house and around the property with me. The device had no charge by the following morning and never showed any activity online. The battery life of the tracker is less than advertised, with a charging time of up to 3 hours, since it was not in "live" mode.
👤Was hoping for better. I settled on this one after a lot of research. I'm not sure if I'll continue with them. The device is ok but the battery life could be better. There is a It's ok to navigate when using the app. I live in a major city and there should be no connection issues since I live in a major city. The actual tracking of my dog is ridiculous. I showed them the tracking and it showed the dog running through the neighborhood and the dog playing in the other room. It's hard to track your dog if it runs away because of the issues on the gps device. There is a subscription. You save money by buying longer-term, and you can cancel anytime. There is a But... You can't just try it out for a month. There is a I bought a year thinking I'd cancel if it wasn't working. I had no issues canceling it. Your subscription is canceled at the end of the year. Since you paid for the year, they don't give refunds and the device will stop working at the end of the term.
MULTI-FUNCTION SYSTEM The range is decided by you, at 30/60/90/ 150/300 meters. When your pet leaves this range, the receiver collar will give a warning sound and a static electric shock. It is important toFamiliarize your pet with the functions they are trained to do in training mode. Please follow the safety set up video. They offer a set-up video that can be watched on YouTube, written instructions can be found with your kit, and they provide incredibly detailed safety set up instructions. They recommend following the safety set-up system to ensure maximum efficacy of your wireless dog fence and ultimately maximum safety for your precious pet. There is a raining mode. The number 1, 2, or 3 will be displayed on the screen. The collar of the dog is represented by these numbers. The system has two collars. The keys are "+" or "-". Make sure to train your dog on the new boundary so that they know when they have crossed and to return home. Some dogs will take a moment to understand but once they do this fence will be the ultimate safety device. The system shows the distance in meters. Press the blue buttons to select the appropriate size. There will be variation because of other obstacles. Follow the instructions for safe use. The sound, vibration, and shock buttons are on the right side of the transmitter. The higher the number, the longer the function will run. Your new dog fence adopts a 2.4 GHz frequency without interfering with your other devices. It must be tested and set up according to the instructions included in the book. The system includes a transmitter and two receivers for each reflective stripe dog collar. This will save you time and money. Your dog will thank you for the freedom and time spent with you.
👤The training collar has a battery in it. If the power goes out, the backup battery will run and the dog won't be shocked. It should last at least a few hours.
👤It says it would go 300 meters, but I wouldn't even go that far without lighting my dog up. If you ever lose power, your dog will be shocked until it's restored, there is no safety feature to tell it not to.
👤So far, so good. I hate that my dogs will go under our fence. When the recall fails, we bought this to help. It's so far worth it. My pups love it because they get to run without being tied up. When we add the other two dogs, I will be interested to see how it works. Sometimes it sounds like it should, but I don't know if it drops the connection. I am not sure what is happening when I hear the beep, it stops when I hear it. 11/26 - We bought a new collar because we liked it so much. It won't pair. The other collar that came with it has unpaired so it won't pair so much.
👤We tried this with our 9month old puppy and it didn't work, he would sit at the boundary line until the battery died, then he would dart off. It would shock us when we tested it. We decided to send it back and get a second one in case it was the device. After receiving the second one, it was delivered very quickly and I didn't have to return the first one. It seemed to work for the first day, but then it wouldn't work anymore, even on high level, because the "shock" wasn't affecting our stubborn dog. We went to petco about a month ago to buy a dog collar and have not had a problem since. I am waiting for a refund because I am not sure if it was the device or the dog that caused it.
👤The company and their customer service was excellent. I don't know if the amount of trees and instructions on our property were the problem or if we were doing something wrong. We tested the system in multiple places. We weren't getting the results we needed. I hope more people try it out. We will be burying more wire because of the concept of not having to bury wire.
👤There are too many dead spots in my yard to make this work well. I don't think I can let my dogs out with this. It's too late to return it. To make sure it works for you, be sure to set it up and test it right away.
👤There is a variable signal from the base to the collar. The signal is easily blocked by walls. After a few months, one collar stopped working. When the collar is charged, it does a great job of keeping our dog in the yard, but it runs down very quickly. Our fog tests the boundaries and that contributes to the short battery life. I have been pleased with the product.
The old version of boundary wire was 650 feet long, but this new version is more flexible and thicker, so you can cover up to 1/3 Acre. You can put wires in any shape you want. Dog training is effective. The signal from the wire is what creates the boundary. The receiver sends a sound as your dog approaches. The closer your dog is to you, the more intense the shock will be. Support multiPLE RECEIVERS. The receiver is waterproof and can be used for all kinds of dogs. You can have as many pets as you need at the same time with the purchase of additional compatible COVONO receivers. There are more amazing features. The fence system allows you to change the signal strength. The function of the speed detection is that the stronger the shock intensity, the faster your dog runs. There is a wire break warning as well. There is a lifetime warranty. They take good care of their customers. If you don't like the item, you can return it and get a full refund within 90 days. Lifetime warranty is also available.
👤The installation was very easy. The wire is easy to snap and could be a bit thicker. The warning is loud enough to keep my husky in check after the first shock. I had to trim my dog's neck all the way around because it was hard to get to him. It worked well after the trim. It was worth it to keep my escape artist.
👤Two months ago, I bought a 12/2020, but it was broken. The support department shipped me a brand new email address. Next day! It is amazing. My dog, my wife, my son and I are all happy.
👤We are excited to try it. Our little girl thinks that she doesn't have to follow the rules like the other dogs. After buying new furniture for the backyard and a new stain on the cement, I decided to build a gated play land for our dogs. They have a mini pond and an outdoor cooler. She won't have it. Nobody puts a baby in a corner. I think so.
👤I just installed it and it says there is a break in the line and it is brand new out of the box. I was able to test about 20 feet of cable at a time. I woke up this morning to a machine that said there was another break. When the cable was working, my dog would pass it and it would stop allowing him to go outside, because it was cheap. This isn't a big backyard. I am not happy with this.
👤This product is packaged with something that could be described as 28AWG wire. The glass fiber core helps prevent breakage, but the wire is too thin for this application. The smallest wire in a car is half the size of this wire. This is about the size of one of the 8 wires inside a cable. Imagine how small the wires are in your ethernet cable. That is what these wires are similar to. The break in the wire is pictured. The warning and shock are almost simultaneous. The dog doesn't have enough time to reverse course before being zapped. I will uninstall the product.
👤I have a German Shepard and the first time I used this with her, we walked around the yard and as she got close, she back off. I took her out the next day and turned on her collar in the same area that we were before, and she was terrified of going in the back yard and just running to the front. She has had accidents in the house because she won't go in the backyard. She has tons of room to run, but now won't because of the new house.
👤Works well! It's nice to not have to put up a chain link fence.
👤I am waiting to see if the company will give me a refund because I watched a video on someone else's experience with the product. I watched a video that showed the setting of the collar/fence reverting to a higher level once electricity was restored. The poor dog was being shocked at a high level for a long time because of the auto reset. If your electricity ever goes out and your dog has a collar on, the dog will be shocked for an amount of time that is not known. It was dangerous and upsetting.
Pinpoint the real-time location of your dog when it's most important and see the history of places he's visited. There are monthly, 1 year, 2 year and 5 year plans available. You can try risk free with a 30 day money back guarantee. If your pet leaves the area, you can get an instant notification. Tracking a dog has never been easier. ACTIVITY MONITORING The integrated dog fitness tracker can be used to keep your dog healthy. In over 150 countries, you can use the TractiveGPS pet collar attachment. You can manage all features via the free app. All Life Stages is an age range description. The included components are a gps tracker and a manual.
👤I had originally given this product 5 stars. A picture of my cat wearing a product was posted. Within 2 weeks, the tracker stopped giving me the right area at the right time to find and secure my pet. At one point, the tracker showed my cat was 4 miles away. I was trying to find him in the dark woods. He was in the yard. I almost had an attack of hyperventilation. I called customer service after trying to reset. None. I sent it back to Amazon after having 3 events like this within a few days. Get this! You can't cancel the subscription when you send it back. A whole 114 dollars was gone. They won't refunds. Don't purchase before you think. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps someone else.
👤It's a waste of money. The live tracking is useless, our dog ran off and it displayed where he had been but not where he was real time as it claims. I used email to contact customer service. I'm on day 6 waiting for a reply, I think I should get a refund for this product, it's not good, but I'll see if I get one.
👤We bought this for our cat. My goal was to keep an eye on where he goes and how often he crosses a busy street so we can decide if he should stay. We might use this tracker permanently going forward, since it was not the original plan. You can set a very precise digital fence. It was important to me to know when he crosses the street on our block. I was surprised that I could drag the fence lines up to the sidewalk. You can set any shape along any road or property line you need. You can see a heat map of where he went during the last 24 hours, and see where he spent less time. It's funny. I use this to find out how often he goes into areas that are less safe. See the picture. Live tracking works well if he's in a wooded area, but you get notifications when he enters/exits the digital fence. If I'm trying to bring him inside and need to know where to look for him, this helps. I don't worry about the physical tracker coming off because it has a secure connection piece to his collar. It is easy to charge, and I find it lasts a few days. I let my cat in and out. I can check the battery life before I let him out. If your cat has a door to come and go, I can see the battery life being a little annoying to monitor. The app sends a notification if the charge is low, so I think battery life and charging work well here. It's easy to use and gives me the information I need. His position doesn't always update for 30-40 minutes. I have to turn on Live Tracking to get a more current read if I check on where he is. I don't know if the app would have known if he crossed the fence. I worry I might not be able to call him back when he's crossing the road. The app doesn't seem to have gaps on his position when I look at his historical heat map. The tracker is big for a cat. I was worried that it was too heavy for his neck, but eventually I was comfortable connecting it to his collar. He doesn't seem to care about it anymore. My cat is about 12 pounds. See the picture. The activity/exercise tracking features are not necessary for an animal. I only use historical heat map features. When he went into a treed area, I lost signal for 45 minutes. It took me an hour to realize he was off the grid because the app didn't tell me a signal had been lost. I panicked because live tracking wouldn't work, since it hadn't happened before. After I walked the block calling for him, he popped out on the app close to home after ignoring my calls. I don't think that area is "heavily wooded." I have a lot of evergreen trees and mature landscaping on the block. If you live among a lot of trees, you could lose signal often. There was a gap in his historical heat map tracking for that period. I don't like paying for gps tracking. I'm willing to pay for it because the app works well and I get a precise location on him to solve my problem. The tracker's up front cost was low enough to cover the ongoing cost.
Their wireless dog fence is more reliable and accurate than traditional ones. You don't have to worry about your dog getting hurt. There are three kinds of stimuli for training. When your dog goes out of the safe area, the system will startStimulus. The range of the radio can be adjusted. The range can be adjusted by pressing the M key. Your dog can play outside. It can work through only one collar receiver without additional cables or transmitters. You can start using it after a few minutes. Don't worry about your dog getting lost. All dogs over 10Lbs can use the waterproof dog fence. If you encounter a problem, please feel free to contact them.
👤I have used others, but they are of better quality. It's easier to tear because it's a little bit thicker. I bought it. I'm happy to have it. Excellent product to recommend.
It is possible to create a custom area for your pets to play in. Up to 1/3 of an Acre is up to be purchased with additional wires and flags. The waterproof receiver COLLAR can be charged in 2 hours or less with each charge lasting up to 2 months. YardMax Rechargeable In-Ground Fence Receiver Collar is not compatible with the system. The audible receiver collar is designed to fit pets with neck sizes 6 to 26 inches. The purchase of compatible PetSafe In-Ground receiver collars will add unrestricted pets. Surge protectors help protect your transmitter from lightning strikes. They are available Monday through Saturday to answer your questions at PetSafe.
👤Not happy with the collar. The PetSafe fence had to be replaced several times. The first product was easy to clean and didn't fall apart. The first collar had a louder tone for the dogs to hear. After only 8 months of use, one of the contact points on our boy's receiver collar fell out. We tightened it after putting it back in. The collar is the only thing left after he comes inside. The receiver is in the yard after the contact points came out. It's a warm 6 degrees and trapesing around the 3 acres out back is not fun. If we don't find the receiver, we will have to purchase another one for $120. The alternative is to purchase a brand fence which would cost $300 or more, and this is smart on the part of PetSafe. It isn't something that the manufacturer considered, so it's a good idea to keep the receiver attached to the collar. Maybe it was and that's how they sell more collars. The collar is still not ok. It has been in use for a year and the contact is broken. The portion that screws into the receive is severed from the portion that makes contact with the dog. I can't replace it with a new one because it's still in the receiver.
👤I bought the entire system and an additional collar. It worked well for the first couple weeks. My dogs were smarter than the sytem. The system is not functioning at all. I'm left with "call customer service and trouble shoot some more" after a number of emails with petsafe, doing everything they said to fix it, and my own test of running a new line. One of the collars became sensitive than the other and now neither collar works. I'm not getting upset. I can't use a system that costs big bucks. Would not suggest wasting money.
👤The collar holds a charge for about a week, which is acceptable, and it works just like it should for the price. The all weather 18 AWG wire is cheap and thin and could easily break from ground shift, so I bought a heavier duty wire. I buried my 18 AWG wire because I had no problems with it breaking. I have had to replace the main transmitter unit and two of the PetSafe collar because of the broken tips. I guarantee you will end up paying the same amount or more in the end if you go with a DogWatch system. PetSafe equipment is cheap in my opinion.
👤I got this to replace my dog's heavy SportDog electric fence collar, which I thought was too heavy for my cockapoo mix. This is better and lighter, and it has a blinking light that makes it easier to find in the dark. The online support and chat help that I got from Sport Dog was amazing. I learned that this model works with my electric fence and is a lot cheaper than the Sport Dog model, which wasn't even in stock.
There is no wire toBURY. A wireless boundary is a great way to protect your pets without the hassle of wires. The circular boundary range should be adjusted from the placement of the indoor transmitter. The display has a liquid display. The screen on which you can see how far your pet's play area expands has warning indicators to let you know if there is an error. There are 5 levels of correction. You can choose from 5 levels of static correction. If your pet crosses the boundary, static-free return allows your pet to return home. The redemption receiver is a redemption COLLAR. The wireless fence system has a waterproof receiver collar that fits dogs up to 5 lbs and adjusts to fit neck sizes 6-28. Set up your new wireless fence in 1-2 hours to give your dog a secure area. It's accessible. This portable fence can be taken with you when you go camping or travel in your RV.
👤Money and time are wasted. It was easy to setup. The dogs were adapted to the boundaries well. The inconsistent signal caused the receiver to shock our dogs for no reason. The wind would blow and shock them if they were within 10 feet of the transmitter. They would be shocked when they were laying in their kennel. It would shock them if they played in the yard on a sunny day. After trial and error, you have to call the helpline. I decided to return it. The idea of a wireless transmitter is great, but the manufacturer needs to up the signal game to make it more efficient.
👤The collar doesn't work. The old Petsafe device died when my dog was 12 years old. The device seemed easy to use, and my dog responded well to the initial sound. She was going beyond the boundary after 2 mos. I have turned off the unit and tried to pair it. The collar does not shock. I put my hand on it. I am out $300 because I didn't fill out the warranty or return the device before 30 days. I am angry. Unless someone makes this right, I will have to rethink my purchases on Amazon.
👤I was surprised by the negative reviews on this product. We have been using it for 2 years and love it. We live in Alaska and many of our friends have bought the same unit so we can bring our dogs to each other's houses without the problem of all the dogs running off in the woods. Sometimes we had as many as 8 dogs using the unit at once. Our dog is not a runner now that we have this unit. We walked him around the flagged property to show him where he could go. When we let him go, he bolted but never again. After moving from one part of Alaska to another, we plugged the unit into our truck and let him out in a parking lot. He knows he's getting too far when he hears the beep. The unit is large. We brought it to friends houses, plugged it in, and let him run free, we also brought it to a bar and let him run free. After so many months of using our new home, he knows his boundaries and sometimes he goes out without his collar. The first unit stopped working after a year. We called customer service, and a second one was sent. It was hard to get free shipping, but living in an area where the dog could get caught in traps made it hard. I was able to talk them into it. I highly recommend this unit. It has changed our dog's life. He is happy without a leash. It's free! He won't walk out of his boundaries without me, so I say "stay close" when I am walking him out of his area. You have to remember to turn it off when you ride in a car.
2 hours of charge provides about two weeks of battery life. Independent correction levels can be used on most dogs. Minimum of 34 feet in diamete or 17 feet in radius is needed to cover a circular area up to 1/3 of an acre. Multiple transmitters combined create a larger coverage area and can be installed within 15 minutes.
👤The fence is performing better than I anticipated. I live on 2.5 acres. Roughly 1.5 of it is wooded. I put one in the front of the house and one in the back to make a larger figure eight for the dogs. I assumed the wooded areas wouldn't work well, but they do! I'm not sure if it's as good of a signal as back in there, but it works into the woods. I would recommend this fence. A senior wirehaired pointinggriffon is set to beep only, but he is well aware of what the fence is all about. We have a 6 month old Am Staff/American Bulldog/Neo Mastiff mix set to Level 4 and she respects the fence as well. She stopped running when she started chasing one of our chickens. She stopped if she actually got to the boundary.
👤I wasn't sure if this would work, but I was pleasantly surprised. After moving the base around the house, we were able to find a spot that the dogs could run in, 45 feet up the street and to the backyard bushes. When placing the flags, it's not an exact science, but finding most spots correctly and then adding many flags in between to make a clear boundary worked well. The dogs were shocked twice when learning, but with continued walking on a leash towards the white flags, they quickly learned to stay away. I used a white oil-based pastel crayon to draw a white line because it was impossible to put flags in our driveway. They caught on. We charged the necklaces for our two dogs once, but have owned the product for a month and a half. Our quality of life has improved greatly. When the front door is open, the dogs run in and out without fear of running away.
👤There is an update! Don't buy it! My dog has been shocked at random. I was shocked when I picked the collar up. Amazon, please stop selling this product! If you have a steep incline, this product won't work. The collar unit is easy to charge, but it's difficult to put the plug in. I had a hard time hearing the beep when I was setting the boundaries. The instructions say to hold it at your dog's height, but I wouldn't be able to walk up and down the hill with my hand over my dog's head. The first time I was alone with my dog, he lost it. It's hard to find, wish it had a neon color so it could be seen. Maybe I could have found a remote control to make it sound better. I couldn't return it because I didn't have all the pieces, and I wouldn't spend another $150 for another collar unit. My two dog system is a one dog system because it is hard to switch the programming. My older schnauzer did better training than the one year old Australian did. The Aussie would get excited by something outside the boundary and then take off when she was shocked. The system doesn't seem to work on one side of the property, the Aussie figured it out right away. She can't get there because the boundary has been reduced. The reason I chose this system was because it would cover 1/3 of an acre and we are not able to get that much space because of the steep drop off. It is easy to reduce the boundary with the 16 different options and the dogs seem to like it.
Stubborn dogs can be used. This system is designed for pets 8 pounds and up and features the highest intensity of static correction with 5 levels of correction. PetSafe offers Standard (20 gauge) and Heavy Duty (16 gauge) in varying lengths, so you can choose the gauge that's best for your yard. There is a run-tHROUGH prevention. An automatic safety shut-off will stop correction after 30 seconds if your pet tries to run through the boundary zone. For hearing-impaired dogs. The tone plus vibration mode is good for training hearing-impaired dogs. The roof is waterproof. The waterproof collar is waterproof up to 3 feet and can be adjusted to fit neck sizes 6-28 inches. The in-ground fence system allows you to safely contain an unlimited number of pets. AJUSTABLE CORRECTION: The collar has 4 levels of static correction and a tone-only mode which is perfect for training. They are available Monday through Saturday to answer your questions at PetSafe.
👤It has not been installed for a while. The range of correction strength adjustment is absolutely necessary. The old fence controller was highly advertised and I could test it by walking to the fence line with my fingers on the prongs. I set the strength to 5 because I wanted to avoid the reactive jerk, which nearly tore my arm off. An elephant would be stopped by a 5 setting. Even for a dumb dog who uses his fingers as a test device, 3 is more than enough. It hasn't bee in that long, so we can't testify about longevity. Will know in a year or so.
👤This is a rare product that is well designed, built and documented. The installation instructions were very good. They need to be because this is an electronic system that will only work if it's installed correctly. If you read and follow the instructions carefully, you will end up with a system that works great. I had to create a border around 3 acres. I also bought a second PetSafe receiver collar and PetSafe wires. My plan was to just lay the wire down on the ground, because digging a 1500-foot trench is a lot of work. Two spots were chewed on through the insulation, and the wire was moved to another spot. We dug a shallow trench and buried it. The project took a long time. I was a little worried that twisting the wires together would not work, but it worked perfectly and the collar won't go off even an inch away from the twisted pair. This will allow you to get from the controller to the property line. The trick they suggest is to use a drill to twist the wires together. soldering and heat-shrink-insulating connections between wires were the only deviations from the instructions. I'm more confident in my approach, even though they provide a solderless way to do it. Does it work? Yes! My two dogs were wandering away at least daily before. The mildest shock is set to Level 2. I'm a fan of PetSafe, but I'm not affiliated with them.
👤I am very happy with PetSafe. The collar that you use is a 9 V battery and it will keep its charge longer than the older one we had. My 10 month old Weim/Lab mix would not stop jumping on the door and opening it, so we chose the "stubborn dog" model. It was so annoying that we tried everything to stop him, but we decided he needed a good zap to stop him. Immediately, he respected the boundary. If he gets too close, there is a warning sound and a zap. The collar can be used to control how much strength the dog has. We kept the dog away from the chickens and ran a wire around the yard, and now he doesn't even think twice about it. Do you have a stubborn dog? If you want to control your dog, you should get a system.
👤PetSafe is the way to go if you're a do-it-yourself person. I've tried many brands. Problem solved! The main box is easy to use and works great. The collar stays on the dogs and they work through all the rough play. Know how heavy a gaged wire you will need. Do you have a "STUBBORN" sports dog? Pits, Labs, and Short hairs. There is a wire made for Petsafe. Purchase that with the "petsafe" system. It's a tip. Change batteries every 3 days. Change weekly.
Simple training is safe. After installation, the system works. As your dog tries to cross the boundary wire, it will send a sound and a shock. The closer you are to your dog, the more intense the correction will be, which will help you train him back to the play area. The range is extendable and changeable. The 700 Ft boundary wire is included in the kit, you can run it in any shape you want, to hold multiple dogs inside an area of up to 1/3 acres. It can be made to cover up to 15 acres by purchasing additional wires. This is a notice. It's not a wireless system. There are three levels of correction and comparable design. It has three levels of correction to fit dogs with different sensitivities. It is also suitable for all kinds of dogs, including those with a neck size of 8 inches or more. You can easily control an unlimited number of dogs by purchasing additional receivers. The waterproof and recycled material is: The collar receiver has a built-in battery that can provide it with up to 15 days of use. The IPX6 waterproof rating of the collar allows your dog to swim in the river and play in the rain, great for outdoor use. There is a lifetime warranty. There is a 90-day money back guarantee and a lifetime warranty on each product purchased from TTpet. Customer support is available seven days a week. If you have any issues or concerns, please contact them.
👤I bought the "In-ground/ Aboveground Pet Containment System, Electric Dog Fence" after a lot of research. What a great device. Our dog jumps against our fence and he ends up braking the boards. He stopped within 3 days after we got this. It has 3 levels. Beep only, Beep and mild shock, and Beep with strong shock. The other fence units only have Beep and/or Shock. We started out with a strong shock, then went to a mild shock and now we are at a stop. Fence boards can be used above ground or underground. The fence is 6 inches above the ground. 700 feet of wire is what it comes with. That's 700 feet. If I want to move or change the boundary, you have the wire to do it. A rechargeable battery. You had to replace the battery or charge the collar at the base station if you looked at other fences. You can charge it at the base station, but it has a charging cable that you can use anywhere. Our base unit was positioned at the other end of the yard. I can charge my dog's collar. Customer service was great. They got back to me quickly. I inquired about the additional leashes for our other dog. You can buy as many collars as you want for as many dogs as you want. They can work with the same base unit and wire boundary. This was my fault. The two collar unit should have been purchased by me. I was not thinking. If you had one dog, I would buy the two collar unit. One collar could be on your dog. The collar was not reflective. That is not a big deal. If you want, the collar unit can be removed and placed on a different collar. This system will work for you.
👤The collar burnt my dog's neck. The wire is very thin. There is no way to get in touch with this brand. No email or number. It was made in China. Stay away!
👤The invisible fence has been great for my dog. She is contained in her yard. She doesn't try to pass because she has learned the barrier. She was able to learn the yard with sound. 5
👤The wires break so easily that it's nearly impossible to install them. It takes 10 seconds to shock. In 10 seconds, dogs can do a lot of damage. My dog can go over the metal fence without getting shocked. Save your money and be patient with a product that doesn't do what it claims to do. The product doesn't work so I never got that far with battery use.
👤The wire that comes with the kit is very small and easy to break. I put the wire on the fence to keep my dogs out. One dog can jump the fence, that's why we bought this. When my dog is laying down in the middle of the back yard, the collar will randomly shock him. The collar is hard to tell what program it is on without the flashing light. I guess it is what it is for the money.
