Brand: Pebble Bee

👤We used the key fob as a locator for my dog Bug. It didn't work if she ran off outside of the range. We were excited to see the new tag. When the battery needs to be charged, the app sends you a notification and we have used it for a month. She has not run off. I checked the app to see where she was and it was spot on. We have it attached to her harness and so far it hasn't fallen off. I feel confident that it won't. Purchase this if you worry about losing your bud on a hike or walk.

👤Over the years, we've had 2 cats disappear. I've been looking for a small tracker for a cat. There are lots of trackers for dogs that are too heavy for a cat, and the ones that claim to be for cats have terrible reviews. It seems like it doesn't bother my cat at all because this one claimed it was small enough for cats. I thought I would try it because I could return it if it didn't work out. I had some issues getting the phone to work, but an email to support had it activated within 24 hours. It took 24 hours for me to see plot points from the previous day. I am pretty sure this is a new product, and I expect improvements over time. If you have an apple device, you can create ageo fences, but I have a phone and it's not available yet. If your pet is moving, dynamic tracking mode will not give you a sense of where they have been as it updates every 5 to 30 minutes. It will most likely not be correct if you expect to see exact location of your pet when you open the app. The house location is shown by mine. The mode gives a few days and maybe a couple of weeks of battery life. You can use emergency tracking mode to get a sense of where your pet has been. My cat wanders around a pretty big area. I was surprised how far he traveled, and in some cases, he's been in the neighbor's house. This will drain the battery quicker. I charge it when he is in the house because it says 24 hours, but he comes at night. I love knowing where he is, and the fact that I can find him if he's hurt is comforting. The app is not very intuitive, there are no instructions, and it needs a little improvement, so I gave it 3 stars. I'm ordering another one for my other cat because it seems like he stays closer to the house. I think we'll find out.

👤Will not use the app. Only email support is available. The email was sent and never received a replay. The web page says you can use only the free Bluetooth if you give them your credit card. If you don't notify them before the 90 day trial is over, they will start billing you after that. It's more of a toy than anything else. There isn't real time monitoring. It only reports 8 minuets. It shows my dog a 1/2 mile down the road or the middle of the lake while he is sitting right in front of me. Going back.

👤Almost 50 dollars. It is already falling apart. I have had it on my dog for less than a week. I will return it and get a full refund. It's not leather all the way through. There is a strip of damaged materials around it. Don't buy this COLLAR.

👤I've tried many different holders to attach AirTags to my dogs' collars, but they have fallen off more than once. I have the AirTags for extra protection for my puppies as they are too much to risk. The AirTag attachment looks nice and the collars seem comfortable.

Brand: Tractive

👤I had originally given this product 5 stars. A picture of my cat wearing a product was posted. Within 2 weeks, the tracker stopped giving me the right area at the right time to find and secure my pet. At one point, the tracker showed my cat was 4 miles away. I was trying to find him in the dark woods. He was in the yard. I almost had an attack of hyperventilation. I called customer service after trying to reset. None. I sent it back to Amazon after having 3 events like this within a few days. Get this! You can't cancel the subscription when you send it back. A whole 114 dollars was gone. They won't refunds. Don't purchase before you think. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps someone else.

👤It's a waste of money. The live tracking is useless, our dog ran off and it displayed where he had been but not where he was real time as it claims. I used email to contact customer service. I'm on day 6 waiting for a reply, I think I should get a refund for this product, it's not good, but I'll see if I get one.

👤We bought this for our cat. My goal was to keep an eye on where he goes and how often he crosses a busy street so we can decide if he should stay. We might use this tracker permanently going forward, since it was not the original plan. You can set a very precise digital fence. It was important to me to know when he crosses the street on our block. I was surprised that I could drag the fence lines up to the sidewalk. You can set any shape along any road or property line you need. You can see a heat map of where he went during the last 24 hours, and see where he spent less time. It's funny. I use this to find out how often he goes into areas that are less safe. See the picture. Live tracking works well if he's in a wooded area, but you get notifications when he enters/exits the digital fence. If I'm trying to bring him inside and need to know where to look for him, this helps. I don't worry about the physical tracker coming off because it has a secure connection piece to his collar. It is easy to charge, and I find it lasts a few days. I let my cat in and out. I can check the battery life before I let him out. If your cat has a door to come and go, I can see the battery life being a little annoying to monitor. The app sends a notification if the charge is low, so I think battery life and charging work well here. It's easy to use and gives me the information I need. His position doesn't always update for 30-40 minutes. I have to turn on Live Tracking to get a more current read if I check on where he is. I don't know if the app would have known if he crossed the fence. I worry I might not be able to call him back when he's crossing the road. The app doesn't seem to have gaps on his position when I look at his historical heat map. The tracker is big for a cat. I was worried that it was too heavy for his neck, but eventually I was comfortable connecting it to his collar. He doesn't seem to care about it anymore. My cat is about 12 pounds. See the picture. The activity/exercise tracking features are not necessary for an animal. I only use historical heat map features. When he went into a treed area, I lost signal for 45 minutes. It took me an hour to realize he was off the grid because the app didn't tell me a signal had been lost. I panicked because live tracking wouldn't work, since it hadn't happened before. After I walked the block calling for him, he popped out on the app close to home after ignoring my calls. I don't think that area is "heavily wooded." I have a lot of evergreen trees and mature landscaping on the block. If you live among a lot of trees, you could lose signal often. There was a gap in his historical heat map tracking for that period. I don't like paying for gps tracking. I'm willing to pay for it because the app works well and I get a precise location on him to solve my problem. The tracker's up front cost was low enough to cover the ongoing cost.

Brand: Albion

👤I have a big dog with a big neck. I was worried that the medium wouldn't fit him. It fit in with a lot of room. The size is closer to a large than it is to a small. The material is of high quality. He can't eat the airtag because it looks great. The strap holds the airtag in perfectly. If this one ever wears down, 10/10 will buy another. I took a chance on this, but I promise you won't regret it.

👤It does the job. Will buy a better collar that is three times the price from a different vendor. The stitching on the AirTag holder was so good it was surprising it was on the other end.

👤This is a high quality collar. The AirTag is held perfectly. No worries about it coming out. I regret buying a collar that was too big. I hope the puppy grows into me. He is 25 lbs. I bought the medium. I should have picked the small. I like the collar texture, color, and design.

👤Just arrived today. It was bought for a family member. It is absolutely stunning. It's a bit darker in person. The hardware looks like it was antiqued brass. It was packaged in a small box. It is easy to leave.

👤I like the look. The AirTag pocket is very nice. It feels good. The strength of the D-ring is my only concern. The ring is attached to a thin layer of leather. I wonder if a strong pull could rip through the stitches. The leather over the ring is already stretched. Is it pretty?

👤The concept is great but only for a small problem. The AirTags' tracking distance is not yards. While the dog is in the yard, the 6 acres won't pick up.

👤I have an American bully who has a huge neck, and this still looks bulky. The leather smelled great and the craftmanship was top-notch. I only use it when I bring him to grandma's house.

👤The quality of the collars is terrible. The airtag is coming off after less than a week of use. Definitely not worth the cost.

👤I can't get to do anything because the directions are so bad, and the instructions are so loud that my cat jumped out of her skin if I put that on her.

Brand: Dogtra

👤The display doesn't work after I ordered the first one. Returned and ordered another because we really wanted this item. The display of the second one doesn't work. They called the manufacturer to see if this was normal. I will return my second order from Amazon for credit and then order directly from the supplier.

👤I finally got the right collar for my dog. No more pulling on the leash. I rarely use the shock, the beeping is so loud that he doesn't want to hear it. Great product!

👤The battery is better. Dogtra is easy to use.

👤Works well. Can hear the sound of a sound on low volume.

👤Great product. Fast delivery.

👤The collar won't fit the dogs neck.

DURABILITY. The dog device has a water rating of IPX 71. Yes, IPX7.

Brand: Garmin

👤Not impressed. I bought this system in June of last year. I found out last week that it will only transmit 50 yards when I work the dog at greater distances. The varification was caused by having my wife operate the handheld while I paced off distance until we lost the signal, this was on the road straight line of sight and no obstacles. Tone, vibrate, continous or momentary are the only modes that have any function. I tried their chat support line and was unsuccessful, so I requested an RMA to return for the warranty. The charging sockets on my first Delta collar fell out after 2 years. I think I will look into Dogtra.

👤I was expecting much more for a $300+ training collar. Both of my dogs are heavy and ignored the training collar at the highest level. For the time being, we switched back to our cheapo collar. It feels better in the hand than many others I've tried, and it's great. I tried to get in touch with Garmin to see if they could help. The first time I called, I was hung up on by the representative, who never called back. When I called the support line again, the wait was even longer, so I gave up. Don't bother with this if you have big dogs. There are other brands that are worth trying for less.

👤A golden retriever was being bullied for being 9 months old. Over the last 3 months, this product has helped us greatly. The idea of a shock collar was not something we were enamored with. He is much more responsive to commands now that he knows his place in the family. It's a rare setting where we need anything beyond our own voice and vibration. He's about 75 lbs when we shock, and it's usually on a very low setting. There have been no issues with this collar. It plays biting battles with the neighbor's dogs in mud and snow. It's reliable, easy to use, and has plenty of battery life.

👤It's a waste of money. Junk, junk, junk. The battery life of the item was too late to return, so I am upset. It worked for my rescue who is on a leash. So, bought another. I didn't hold charge, return and get another to think it was faulty. Nope! The battery in the warehouse is dead, so they might have been sitting there for a long time. Never again! I said 100. There is a dollar piece of junk.

👤A 1.5 year old dog mix has a great personality, but is very energetic and strong. He is a hunter. He wanted to decide when an off-leash walk should end and how far he could go, which was too far away from us. I can't compare this unit to others, as I have never used an e-collar before, but we are thrilled and I have owned dogs for over 20 years. After a week of training using static electricity stimulation, we now rarely have to press buttons, and when we do, it's just the tone. He now responds to voice commands. When we did the initial testing, our dog did not respond to the stimulation until level 12 and we never went higher than 14 during the training. I put the collar on our dog after trying it on myself. We didn't find the need for the more expensive units to offer the more advanced steps. It seems like the battery life is good. We need to replenish the collar unit every few days. The control unit holds a charge for a longer time after the initial training week.

9. Samsung SmartTag Bluetooth Tracker Locator

Samsung SmartTag Bluetooth Tracker Locator

Attach a smart tag to those precious things in life. If you misplace your stuff, launch the app and see where it was last. It is easy to retrace your steps. Take it easy. Finding lost items is easy thanks to the smart tags. You can use with a phone that has at least 2.0GB of RAM and is running a newer version of the operating system. The app is required.

Brand: Samsung

👤One day I came home from work and found my mom wandering off, I bought this device to track her movements, and when I called the hospital, they were amazed that I found her.

👤I bought this to find my phone. If you have opened SmartThings, double-clicking the SmartTag will work. If you're phone has rebooted, it doesn't work, the tag just sits there and beeps, and you can't use it. If I missed placing my phone and SmartThings, I'm fine. I can't tell if there's an option to have SmartThings run in the background or not. Unless you're disciplined enough to remember to open SmartThings whenever you restart your phone, I wouldn't recommend this gizmo.

👤It works well for me. You have to have a working device to use these. Is it possible that I want another brand phone? You're denied. You have only one phone and it is not from the same company. You're denied. I might only ever buy one. I like how much it does. It should be able to do things that the Tile tracker can't do. Since it's a system app, you don't need to have a "enabled" one. I like that. I like that you can still find your phone without the high battery cost, which is something the Tile tracker does. The Tile tracker and this are both three stars because of their usage problems. If you want the same use of it, you should use this tag for the Tile, it has too high a battery cost. The only one that I can recommend is the one that has its own cost of requiring specific phones, the one that has a tag of low battery cost, the one that has a tag of low cost. Its crazy. I like how other phones from strangers can update their location when it's outside of the device range. I haven't looked to see if anything else can be done through their phones. It's not cool to require a device from a company. They should make an app that is more compatible. This would increase their game. They've limited their market and made a disservice to their customers. Three stars is not good. I had to find lost keys because one of the tags was attached to one of the keys, so I tried to get away from the area, but it said all tags where I was. They need to fix something. The phone wouldn't connect to the keys when I got to the area. If you force it to end, it might work. It worked after a restart and found the keys in the mud. Without it, the keys would never have been found, except by chance. Success!

👤I bought one but it couldn't link with my new phone because it had issues with the ID. The paperwork that came with the tag was useless. The issue was researched on the net and found a lot of other people with the same problem, but no one could seem to get help from the company. I'm not wasting any more of my time because my gut feeling is that the real problem is that the tags were mislabeled and mistakenly sent to the US, which is incompatible with the frequencies in other countries. Sending it back. Done.

10. Tractive Waterproof GPS Cat Tracker

You can manage all features via the free app. All life stages are described in the age range. The instruction manual was included.

Brand: Tractive

👤On the first day I received it, it was wonderful. I could see where my cat would go in the live view because it had a clear signal. The next day there were big problems. It doesn't see gps, it gives false locations, the power saving zone is no longer recognized, and so on. He came home and didn't see that he was home because the device/app couldn't see where he was for three hours. I've been on the phone with customer service and I've reset and restarted. They had me go for a walk around the neighborhood with the tracker in my pocket, but so far that has proved to be of no use. I didn't know why I was working so well the first day and then nothing the next day. The weather has been nice. It was very frustrating. There is a The activity part of the device is pretty neat. If this works and the problem is fixed in the next week or so, I will change my rating. New replacement works great! OK. I have been through two replacements and after experiencing frustration with the second replacement, Tractiv, they sent me out a third one saying the issue might have been that I was on T-Mobile. I received a new one on March 3 with a different kind of elastic retainer for the collar and it was in a box with a dog on it. It might be a tiny bit larger than the original one I received, but it works perfectly! After five days of using the activity monitor, the battery was down to 42%, and I was able to track him live when he did go out. I set up the power saving zone in my home so that it would read it perfectly, as well as the safety zones. It tells me when he leaves the zone I made on the app. The gps signal is always clear. They delivered on what I wanted. I hope it works in the future.

👤I have a small cat that likes to hunt at night. I have tried many different trackers for her and this one is my favorite. I've tried many different trackers for her. I traded my dog's Whistle collar for the one I bought for my cat because I loved the Tractive collar so much. The collar is designed to track pets. I felt like the whole interface is better because the Jiobit was not. The app is user friendly. I like the app. It is easy to use and has cool features like allowing your pet to compete with others in the area for most activity. It allows you to share your cat's location with family and friends. It's affordable. The collar is cheap and the plan is less expensive. I pay a little more for the protection plan. Tracking my cat's activity, calories burned, calm minutes and time sleeping is fun. Great tracking features make it fun. Every few seconds, your cat's location is updated on the tracker. The tracker blinks during live tracking. Live tracking allows me to get my cat in the woods if I am close enough to see a blinking light in the dark. The app can give you notifications when your cat enters or leaves a virtual fence. I put one in my yard. This feature is very useful when trying to get the cat in during the day or in the evening, as it gives her a notification when she enters the yard and I can grab her. Excellent accuracy. In areas where cell service is bad, the tracker is not always the most accurate. I wouldn't say any of the trackers I have tried for my cat are superb. I was excited when tractive introduced this because it is one of my favorite features on my dog's whistle tracker. Tractive did not do a good job with this. It interfered with my virtual fence. If the Whistle collar is in the range of the internet, you could use it to see if your cat is in the vicinity or not. It was bulky. My cat is 7.5 lbs. It connects nicely to her collar. The rubber sleeve that comes with the cat collar is more comfortable for her than the other collar. I think she doesn't mind wearing it. The appearance. The navy sleeve is much better than the cat-specific collar. I would like it to be a little smaller. I love this collar. It is easy to use, has cool extra features, and gets the job done at a fraction of the cost as a whistle. I would recommend people with cats that don't like to come in at night to get an indoor cat.

11. SportDOG Brand Family Remote Trainers

SportDOG Brand Family Remote Trainers

The 500 yard range e collar can be used to train 3 dogs with the same remote. Choose to train with a buzz, tone, or 21 levels of static simulation. DryTek technology is used to waterproof and submersible to 25 feet. A low battery indicator lets you know when to charge, and the batteries have a 2 hour quick charge. The neck sizes are 5 to 22 inches for dogs 8 pounds or larger. All stages are described in the age range. The basic training manual was included.

Brand: Sportdog Brand

👤I have had the 425S for a few years now and love it. The most reliable collar I have ever had. I was excited to try the new dog, but I am very disappointed with its performance. The remote is reliable, but it is not reliable at all. I noticed that my pup was reacting in different ways. I used it and it was fine after I tested it on myself. I tried out the collar on myself again after the first training session as I didn't understand why my dog was reacting so strongly to the V/T function. What I saw made me cringe. Even though the button was on the same setting, it would deliver a different action each time I pressed it. I set it to V/T and after pressing the same button a few times, it gave off a shock. I set it to 1, then 2 and half the time it would vibrate, then the shock would be appropriate to the setting then out of nowhere it would be an equivalent of a 6-7 level shock. The tone button was the only button that worked consistently. I am sad that I ever used this on my pup, I can only imagine how shocked she was even though I had it set to V/T. The 425S is a great collar. If you want to shock your dog for no reason at all, then get the 425X. I was surprised that there was no recall on the 425x. Scary that this product is out there.

👤Don't buy the XS if you liked the 425-S. I regret buying a Sportdog collar and recommend it to friends and acquaintances. The older model was very good. If the lanyard had not snapped, I wouldn't have needed to buy a new collar. The older model allowed the remote three functions. One for each button. This is the one of the most useful buttons, and everyone I know used it for training a dog. The "X" model only allows 2 functions. Tone and vibrate, tone and nick, or vibrate and nick are the ways you can use them. There is no way to have each button perform a different function. Older model. The tone volume was louder. Both vibrate and nick had their strength adjusted. The new model is called "X". It's harder to get the dog's attention when it's distracted. The strength used to be adjusted. It was the best attention getter for my dog when he was chasing prey and reminding him of the property line. The dog doesn't notice the new one. She occasionally looks to see what touched her, but it could never be used as a safety measure. I called the company because I was certain I was missing something, and hoping they would say "Of course those features are still available!" We wouldn't eliminate the useful features. I didn't read the manual wrong. They ruined a great product. The reason? To allow a sound. If I could, I'd return this immediately, and go to eBay and find one of the older models, even if I had to buy used. I don't have time to ship. I use an e-collar to help with puppy training and early training for my balance/mobility service dog. Raising puppies is a real challenge for people with disabilities. The e-collar allowed me to reach out and touch the pup that was moving so fast that I couldn't keep up. It has been used to call my other dog off pursuit of a deer. The new model of the collar is less functional and has a slight delay in its delivery. I think it's because of the add-a-collar option. I blew almost three hundred on their 825 model because I was training a future law enforcement dog. I gave the 825 away to the pup when he began his official training classes because the model was so bad. The delay renders the collar useless. I know that Sportdog caters to the hunting crowd, and that Sportdog really, truly, deeply does not care what I think; but prospective buyers need to know that the new model is not improved.
