👤I had originally given this product 5 stars. A picture of my cat wearing a product was posted. Within 2 weeks, the tracker stopped giving me the right area at the right time to find and secure my pet. At one point, the tracker showed my cat was 4 miles away. I was trying to find him in the dark woods. He was in the yard. I almost had an attack of hyperventilation. I called customer service after trying to reset. None. I sent it back to Amazon after having 3 events like this within a few days. Get this! You can't cancel the subscription when you send it back. A whole 114 dollars was gone. They won't refunds. Don't purchase before you think. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps someone else.
👤It's a waste of money. The live tracking is useless, our dog ran off and it displayed where he had been but not where he was real time as it claims. I used email to contact customer service. I'm on day 6 waiting for a reply, I think I should get a refund for this product, it's not good, but I'll see if I get one.
👤We bought this for our cat. My goal was to keep an eye on where he goes and how often he crosses a busy street so we can decide if he should stay. We might use this tracker permanently going forward, since it was not the original plan. You can set a very precise digital fence. It was important to me to know when he crosses the street on our block. I was surprised that I could drag the fence lines up to the sidewalk. You can set any shape along any road or property line you need. You can see a heat map of where he went during the last 24 hours, and see where he spent less time. It's funny. I use this to find out how often he goes into areas that are less safe. See the picture. Live tracking works well if he's in a wooded area, but you get notifications when he enters/exits the digital fence. If I'm trying to bring him inside and need to know where to look for him, this helps. I don't worry about the physical tracker coming off because it has a secure connection piece to his collar. It is easy to charge, and I find it lasts a few days. I let my cat in and out. I can check the battery life before I let him out. If your cat has a door to come and go, I can see the battery life being a little annoying to monitor. The app sends a notification if the charge is low, so I think battery life and charging work well here. It's easy to use and gives me the information I need. His position doesn't always update for 30-40 minutes. I have to turn on Live Tracking to get a more current read if I check on where he is. I don't know if the app would have known if he crossed the fence. I worry I might not be able to call him back when he's crossing the road. The app doesn't seem to have gaps on his position when I look at his historical heat map. The tracker is big for a cat. I was worried that it was too heavy for his neck, but eventually I was comfortable connecting it to his collar. He doesn't seem to care about it anymore. My cat is about 12 pounds. See the picture. The activity/exercise tracking features are not necessary for an animal. I only use historical heat map features. When he went into a treed area, I lost signal for 45 minutes. It took me an hour to realize he was off the grid because the app didn't tell me a signal had been lost. I panicked because live tracking wouldn't work, since it hadn't happened before. After I walked the block calling for him, he popped out on the app close to home after ignoring my calls. I don't think that area is "heavily wooded." I have a lot of evergreen trees and mature landscaping on the block. If you live among a lot of trees, you could lose signal often. There was a gap in his historical heat map tracking for that period. I don't like paying for gps tracking. I'm willing to pay for it because the app works well and I get a precise location on him to solve my problem. The tracker's up front cost was low enough to cover the ongoing cost.
Track and find your items with friends and devices in the Find. My app. A simple one-tap setup connects AirTag to your device. You can ask for help from the built-in speaker or play a sound on it. You can find your AirTag with Ultra Wideband technology. Hundreds of millions of Apple devices can be used to find items further away. My network. AirTag will be notified when it is found in the Find. My network. Communication with the find. The location data and history of my network are never stored on AirTag.
👤The pros are: There was no weight issues. There will be no issues with this on keys, bags, etc. A simple design that doesn't draw attention. The software is already on the current version of the IOS. The water has a rating of Ip67. It can take the rain even if it is in a deep puddle. It can hold against Mother Nature. It is painless to replace a battery. There is a Thank you Apple for not making your own battery. The battery is CR2032. These are usually cheap and last a year. You can find them at the checkout lines of both Walmart and Amazon. There is a The highlight of this device is the precision location feature. This feature will show you where the tracker is if you are in the area of your Airtag. I put my Airtag in a book under my bed, and my phone gave me visual directions to where to go. The speakers on it began to make a noise when I got near it. Sight and sound can be used to find your Airtag. One block away from the location, I left my Airtag near my colleague. I was shown where I left it when I turned on the lost mode. My Airtag was able to connect with my colleague's phone because of it. By putting it in lost mode, you can see where it was last seen by other Airtags and Apple phones. There is a My colleague was able to quickly scans my Airtag, revealing the contact info that I approved. The process took less than 20 seconds for him. There is a Your Airtag doesn't store your location data for public viewing. All information about your location is confidential. There is a If someone puts an Airtag near you, your phone will notify you if there is an Airtag nearby, even if you don't have an Airtag. It is the same as the one ring from the Lord of the Rings. There is a If you leave the device in a public place, the speakers on it will grab your attention and strangers will notice. There is a All Airtags that are separated from their owners will play a sound to alert people. There is a You don't need to have it on for your phone. It won't affect the battery usage of the phone. There is a You can have more than one Airtag on your phone. There is a If you borrowed a friend's bag, you can stop the alert on your end so it won't keep bothering you. There is a The Airtag's chime will be playing when I ask my Siri where my Airtag is. There is a The scanning feature works on all phones. The Airtag will reveal your contact info if you have an android device. Cheers to that. There are pros and cons. You will need to accept the scratch on the Airtag. The only advice I can give is to stick with the white color because it will hide some of the worse scratches. There is a It is small enough to fit in a wallet but large enough to be on a key chain. There is a The cost of the accessories is almost the same as the Airtag itself. There is a This will not work if you don't have an operating system. You can find the contact info by scanning an Airtag. There is a The device won't give you real-time tracking, so it's not a device to put on your dog or child. It depends on the connections with other phones to give an accurate location. There is a This device will not work if there is no iPhones in the area or if you travel into the world of nature. The good news is that there are billions of iPhones, but not every location will have one. There is a The Airtag can connect with my phone, but not lose the signal, on average. This is alright, I know it might be a bad thing for some. There is a You will not be able to share your location. If you are not in the area and someone you know is, it would be great to have this feature to help you find your lost item. There is a If you leave it behind, the Airtag won't alert you. You have to realize that you don't have the item, then use your phone to find it. There is a There was no built-in altimeter. If you lose your Airtag in a 20-story building, the Airtag won't be able to tell you the height of the building or the floor, even if they're in the same building. If the Airtag is too far away for my phone to connect with it, you are standing in a dead spot. You need to walk around until the Airtag can connect with your phone. The Airtag only works if there are Apple products in the area. Only the 11 and above versions of the Apple device are able to use the precision location feature. There is a Some countries will not work for Airtags, even if there are iPhones around. I was told that countries like Russia and Indonesia can be updated, but I need to keep an eye out. There is a The less remote you are, the less reliable the Airtag is. There is a If you have an Airtag, good Samaritans will reach out to you. This depends on where you live. The device is helping three types of people. The other is the one that keeps losing their stuff in public places. Two, the ones that lose their stuff at home every day, such as keys, purses, and stuff you can't leave the house with. A mix of both. The Airtag is not a real-time tracker. Don't attach this to your dog because it only works if the iPhones are in the area. You will get scratches on it as well. The tracking technology that is out there is similar to the precision location feature. It has the same flaws as well. The Airtag is an effective tracking device, requiring nothing more than an Apple device, which most already own. The layout was responsive, accurate, and useful. The precision location feature is a lifesaver if you need to find something quickly. I have a thumbs up to Apple in regards to the privacy issue. The fear of someone knowing your location is dead. Privacy is important for a device like this. The device is only built for the Apple community. I hope I helped you. Honest reviewer.
Need to keep an eye on something? Attach a SmartTag to those things. If you misplace your stuff, launch the app and see where it was last. It is easy to retrace your steps. Take it easy, there it is! Finding lost items is easy thanks to the smart tags. You can use with a phone running a higher version of the operating system. The app is required.
👤I put this in my Dad's truck so we can find him if we can't find life360. I wanted a safety net when he got lost because he has early dementia. I'm lucky that it updates every 24 hours. He's been in a car for at least 30 minutes at several stores, yet this device shows him at a gas station he last drove to, 8 hours ago. I'm pretty sure he's been around a lot of phones today. It works great if you want to find something on your own property. They make cheaper devices that can be used to find things. It's unreliable because I bought it for the gps tracker.
👤It helped me to figure out that my dog wasn't leaving my yard. He had found a low spot in the skirting around my post and beam foundation, dug a skinny entrance and was going to sleep in the crawl space under my house. I adopted him after he was turned in as a stray and I couldn't figure out how he was getting out when he reappeared. I spent hours looking for him. The app showed that he wasn't gone at all and I finally found his hidey hole. I will be able to follow him if he does a walk.
👤The size is too large for cats. We can easily find it by using a ring feature, but if it's outside and there's no device nearby, it can't show its location. It can be found very easily if there is.
👤I keep track of my important items with this thing. I hope they change the size, it could be 888-282-0465 My wife and kids all have Apple phones, although I like the size of their Air tags, the other phones have more features.
👤It works well to find the keys. I tested the phone app away from home. I left the keys at home with the wife's phone, which was 10' away. It took the app about 10 minutes to locate and inform me of the keys' location. It works but a real test is to leave it at work and see if someone else's phone works. They haven't turned my keys in for 2 months, I think someone took them. I wanted to find them. You have to change the door unlock and immobilizer code on all the other sets if you want to get a replacement key. They have a physical key, but they can't drive around parking lots and press the panic button to see which car it is. I will update this review at some point if I need to change the rating.
👤I bought a second tracker so that I and my SO could keep an eye on each other. In the event of an accident, location data is important. We tried to sync it with a different phone, thinking it was the only thing needed. It didn't work. I have an extra for my bag. We will look for a tracker that will work with her phone. The instructions make it easy to set up. I haven't had any issues with the battery life.
Real-time Tracking Their pet tracker can be used to locate and monitor any remote targets by using existing gps network and phone app. A dog tracker will usually find the dog's location within 10 seconds. You can see where he is in relation to you by looking at the location of your phone. Setting up a safety zone for your pet is called geo-Fence. This will allow you to go about your day with peace of mind knowing that you will be notified if your pet leaves the area. A pet collar tracker. It is more comfortable for little puppies than their old pet tracker. The light weight is only 30g, and the size is 2.44"x1.18"x0.71". If you buy a 2G sim card for 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900MHz, their pet activity tracker will work. They recommend SpeedTalk/T-mobile in the US.
👤I bought a dog gps tracker and a speed talk sim card that was recommended by zeerkeer. I used the website to order after I called the Speedtalk company and they suggested I use it to order. All of the plans come with a free Sim card, but I purchased a six-month plan. I think I have an extra Sim card. I wanted to use the gps dog tracker collar, so I was anxious to get this activated. I got a message when I went online to use the plan that I couldn't use the Sim card. I had to wait for the Sim card to be sent to me and used with the plan, because the company said that I was getting a Sim card with the plan. All of their plans include a free Sim card, so purchasing the Speedtalk through Amazon is a complete waste of time and money, and a delay in getting the dog tracker working. I am disgusted.
👤The weight of the gps will not be a problem for my dog and cat. It needs a card that supports 2G and some settings. Thank you very much for your patient service, I found the seller to help me set it up. Setracker2 is a free app that can be downloaded from the app store or scanned for a barcode. There is a The positioning is very accurate and you can see the surrounding streets on the APP, so the battery loss won't be as bad. There is a My family said that it is cool to wear a dog, which is better than the gps I bought before, and it is more convenient. I like the call function, it can answer the phone, and I can hear the sound of it. If the dog is lost, you can call the dog through the voice function. I like it very much.
👤The product had a sim card that was canceled. The unit doesn't function. I have a graduate degree and the instructions that come with the unit are hard to understand. The seller told me I had to buy a sim card. The new sim card doesn't recognize the T-mobile network. I thought it might be a low cost option, but it is not.
👤This thing is terrible. Customer service never worked out the account that was created. Contacting for help did not work. The back bolts were stripped. The sim card expired. Would have given zero stars, but that doesn't work here. Don't waste your money, I'm going to buy a key finder for my cat.
👤I bought 3 and they didn't work. Unable to make the gps turn on. It is a bad system. The customer service is not good and the directions are ridiculous. I used a tech genius and he couldn't figure it out, he tried on all 3 devices. This is not a product.
👤I couldn't get it to work. The only way to get help was through the app. I don't use it. I got a lot of apps that I didn't want when I tried to load the app. I sent the product back after giving up.
Attach a smart tag to those precious things in life. If you misplace your stuff, launch the app and see where it was last. It is easy to retrace your steps. Take it easy. Finding lost items is easy thanks to the smart tags. You can use with a phone that has at least 2.0GB of RAM and is running a newer version of the operating system. The app is required.
👤One day I came home from work and found my mom wandering off, I bought this device to track her movements, and when I called the hospital, they were amazed that I found her.
👤I bought this to find my phone. If you have opened SmartThings, double-clicking the SmartTag will work. If you're phone has rebooted, it doesn't work, the tag just sits there and beeps, and you can't use it. If I missed placing my phone and SmartThings, I'm fine. I can't tell if there's an option to have SmartThings run in the background or not. Unless you're disciplined enough to remember to open SmartThings whenever you restart your phone, I wouldn't recommend this gizmo.
👤It works well for me. You have to have a working device to use these. Is it possible that I want another brand phone? You're denied. You have only one phone and it is not from the same company. You're denied. I might only ever buy one. I like how much it does. It should be able to do things that the Tile tracker can't do. Since it's a system app, you don't need to have a "enabled" one. I like that. I like that you can still find your phone without the high battery cost, which is something the Tile tracker does. The Tile tracker and this are both three stars because of their usage problems. If you want the same use of it, you should use this tag for the Tile, it has too high a battery cost. The only one that I can recommend is the one that has its own cost of requiring specific phones, the one that has a tag of low battery cost, the one that has a tag of low cost. Its crazy. I like how other phones from strangers can update their location when it's outside of the device range. I haven't looked to see if anything else can be done through their phones. It's not cool to require a device from a company. They should make an app that is more compatible. This would increase their game. They've limited their market and made a disservice to their customers. Three stars is not good. I had to find lost keys because one of the tags was attached to one of the keys, so I tried to get away from the area, but it said all tags where I was. They need to fix something. The phone wouldn't connect to the keys when I got to the area. If you force it to end, it might work. It worked after a restart and found the keys in the mud. Without it, the keys would never have been found, except by chance. Success!
👤I bought one but it couldn't link with my new phone because it had issues with the ID. The paperwork that came with the tag was useless. The issue was researched on the net and found a lot of other people with the same problem, but no one could seem to get help from the company. I'm not wasting any more of my time because my gut feeling is that the real problem is that the tags were mislabeled and mistakenly sent to the US, which is incompatible with the frequencies in other countries. Sending it back. Done.
Small and light weight tracking devices. The Cattails are small. Your pet won't even notice that they're wearing it. Their device will give you peace of mind for your pet's location. 👤My cat has been turned into an indoor only cat. He still tries to get out. We ordered this because he was catnapped by a well meaning cat lady in the neighborhood. The battery is always charged. It is supposed to last up to 6 months as opposed to gps trackers which need constant charging. Murphy's law states that the chances of my cat escaping on the day his device was charged are not good. This tracker solved the issue. It has a blinking light that lets you know it's working. If you find the light annoying, you can turn it off. You can check the battery with the app. I use the light. If the collar falls off, it could help me locate it in the dark, as the cat presses the collar on. It is lightweight, quiet and doesn't bother him. I have been able to locate him a few times when he was close, and we thought he'd escaped. He was in a closet. He was heading up the street to a hangout where people fed the strays. I was able to stop him. It isn't very accurate. The cat is sleeping and hasn't even moved as the distance jumps from 30ft away to 135ft while you stare at the screen. The same issue occurs when using the alert feature. This is supposed to tell you when your cat is leaving the preset range. My phone is constantly telling me that he's leaving. He's sleeping again. I am not moving in these situations. I will ignore that feature now because it makes it useless. If you know where your cat is, the device will help locate him. If a passer by takes your cat to a different neighborhood out of the zone, you won't be able to find them unless you are walking around close enough for it to ping. They tell you this before you even know it. I brought it up because of the price. It's too expensive for what it is. The tags they make are cheaper and have better tracking. I can't see how the high cost is justified. The parts and technology are not worth that price tag. It feels predatory, taking advantage of a pet owner's love for their pet. We'd pay anything not to lose our babies. This tag makes me relax a bit. As far as the app goes, it would be nice to see two dots moving closer together or apart as you approach your cat or walk in the wrong direction. It's more frustrating if you're frantic in your search. The cat's name, phone and address should be added to the tag. They mostly display the logo. The device is about getting pets safely back home. The company has made money, why not use it to write our pet's name on it? Many of us don't want to have tags around our pets neck because they might be drawn to the sound of coyotes outdoors. I put a small round label on his item and wrote his information on it with packing tape. It works for now, but will need to be changed. A write on tag would solve that. I will be checking for updates. I appreciate that this product is made by a small business and that there is a handwritten thank you in the box. I hope my feedback improves the product. I want it to work well. It's a good thing.

👤I bought this device for my Border Collie because she was bad about crossing the road to chase deer. We live on land. The main point is that it works, so you should take it off and charge it at night. I get a notification almost instantly on my phone when she is 100 yards away, and within 60 seconds I get a second notification that she is back in the leash perimeter. I was able to record my voice saying "Come" which freaks her out and sends her running right back towards the house every time it rained despite all the negative Amazon reviews that said it doesn't work in bad weather. It's great for us. I love the remote control, but there have been a few times when she didn't turn right after exiting the perimeter, that I pushed the button on the remote. She turned around and went back to her house. Maybe others are not charging. I want to make sure it works during the day. The device has helped us. I had tried some of the top products and they didn't work for me. The device is a lifesaver, it keeps my dog on my property, without the need for a fence. I highly recommend this! Thanks to the engineer who made this, it is easy to use and works well in Montana.
👤It has been upgraded several times since the initial review. I can see which direction my cat is moving as it is shown in real time. It is convenient to go out to get the cat. My cat is now registered as a cat, not as a beagle, because it has a cat category. I love the added features of the device, like the radar and almost real time tracking. It shows where my cat likes to hang out. It has improved the lives of cat owners. Thank you! We live in a suburb. My cat is in the garage. He goes out in the morning and comes home by 4:30 pm. He is about 11 lbs and active. The device is slightly bigger than I wanted, but my cat doesn't seem to care. It picks up the signal 80 percent of the time, but then it goes offline because my cat got under a deck. It works great when it works. I opened the door to the garage because I saw that my cat was on his way to my house. It shows its daily trails in a nice way. It gives me peace of mind to know where my cat is. He was a stray and is happy when he is outside. I have been looking for other tracking devices and this one is the best so far. You have to update the app to add a cat. My cat is registered as a beagle, which is not fair.
👤I received a gps tracker in the mail a few days ago and I am very pleased with the device. The app is easy to install and use, and I didn't have any issues with the tracker and receiver beingsynced to my phone. I was excited about this product because my dog likes to run the neighborhood and we live in a rural wooded area. The tracker seems to loose connection easily. It has been done while I have been in my house with the receiver and outside with my dog. I don't know why it is losing connection. The device is powered on. I wanted it to work for us. I decided to keep it because it seems to work better after we shrunk the safety zone. My dog went out of the "geo-fence" and the receiver wouldn't let him go. Our house is situated in the middle of 15 wooded acres and our dog is allowed to go outside without being on a leash or inside a fenced in area. He would wander off and visit neighbors before I knew he was gone. I wanted something that would allow me to be a lazy dog owner. The app was able to notify me when he went beyond the safety zone because of the size of the fence around my house. I pushed the button outside and my dog ran after me. The tracker and receiver disconnected when he went to lie under the greenhouse to get out of the heat. I was able to put the receiver outside on the porch railing and have my phone inside with me, the connection didn't seem to have trouble staying connected. I think this would work well with him on hikes. There is a new update on 9/23/19 that is not waterproof. We went kayaking on the river and my dog swam with a tracker attached to his collar. We tried to put it on the top of his neck, but he must have gone under to get the tracker wet. After drying out, the tracker stopped working. I've been unable to get a replacement tracker from the company. I was able to purchase a new tracker after contacting Petfon tech support.
You can find keys, bags, and more with their free app on both the iPad and the phone. When it's within 200 feet, use the Tile app to ring your mate or ask your smart home device to find it for you. Tile works with a number of digital assistants. If you are outside of the range of the Tile app, you can use it to find your Tile or use the Tile Network to find it. Even when the phone is silent, use your tile to find it. Premium or Premium Protect provides enhanced services such as Smart Alerts, and Free battery replacement.
👤This was a great idea for keeping track of keys. The app has a flaw. It only works if location services are always turned on, even if you don't have a phone, and you use a mobile app to find out where your keys are. My battery life has gone down since I activated my tile. If I change location services to "when using the app" it will tell me that my tile is disabled. We don't need to track our locations since the tile is immobile, but we do need to know exactly where the object is.
👤It's important that everyone knows that the Tile warranty is bad. They won't swap you out once you get past a few months. They will only give a coupon code for a discount. How does that fit with a 1 year warranty? If you try to elevate the issue, you end up in a Ground Hog day cycle of Americanized named 'Supervisors' all forcing you to start over at ground zero with lots of emails, and you eventually end up with the same coupon code offer. It was a total waste of time. I get the new battery version and it's not good. We stuck on the dog's collar in the old version. When the alert was sounded, the dog was trained to come to the door, but it died before it could. We have an invisible fence and we had full coverage. We only used the Tile outdoors when it was sunny and dry. Even if the Tile is right next to you, this new one takes F O R E V E R to connect. The dashed circle is spinning. If someone holds it up in the air and there are no obstructions, the range is down to 80 to 100 ft max. Guess what happened when you tried chat and then email to complain after a month or so of testing. There is no offer to replace coupon time. This is going back to Amazon. I'm done with this nonsense. I'll try to open the old one to see if the battery can be replaced. The new Tile is thicker, bulkier, and doesn't work as well as the old one. The Support and Warranty is not good. Don't tread lightly.
👤I bought this tile in June. In September, the tile became unglued and separated into two halves along the seam. The tile was not subjected to any physical damage other than its intended use on a key ring. I contacted Tile chat support and spoke with a person named Jaffet D, who said my tile could not be replaced under their 1-year warranty because it was damaged and offered me a 20% discount on a replacement. The product coming unglued after three months is a clear manufacturer defect that should be covered under their warranty. I brought this up to him and he said he would look into it. He offered to email me with a resolution after he couldn't get in touch with the higher level support. I had to reach out to support after I didn't receive an email. I was offered a 20% discount on a replacement, but I was told that I would not be covered under the warranty and that there was physical damage. I don't believe that you will be able to get a proper warranty from Tile because they will lie to you and say that there was no physical damage. They failed to honor their stated warranty because of a manufacturing defect. Will not be buying any more Tile products and will recommend others to buy from companies that stand behind their product. Shame on you.
Attach CUBE to anything and let the community be your search party. Are you taking family photos? CUBE is a shutter button for your phone. Did you misplace your phone? Even if the app is not running, use your CUBE to locate your phone with ring, vibrate, and flash. There is no need to replace CUBE every year. You should replace the battery once a year. Extra battery is included. CUBE will ring if you press find and use the app to show last known location on a map. If you leave something behind, there is a separation alarm.
👤I didn't want to pay 120 for a cat specific tracker because my cat is a house cat, however I would always get scared if I couldn't find her, or if I needed to put her away. She is a kitty. I can walk around with the cube and see the signal strength as I get closer. You can make the cube do a ping sound if you have at least one bar of close proximity. It's funny.
👤I lost my keys this week when I put them into a chip bag and then into the garbage can. It wasn't garbage day. I ripped apart my house to look for them. I was frantic because my house and car keys were on the ring. When you don't know where you lost your keys, good security sense says that you have to prepare for the possibility that someone will break into your home or steal your car. You can't know. It would have cost me $350 to reprogram my car's electronic locking system. I would have had to re-key my home. If my wife hadn't thought about it, I would have been out hundreds of dollars. This was the most anxious and close to miss I've had. I usually misplace the keys in 3 or 4 places. Each time is a hassle. I began to look at key finder technology. I started looking for reviews after finding a lot of companies that make these things. The Tile is the most well received unit. They last for a year before the battery dies. I don't want to be tied to a company's cash register just because of a battery, so I'm not buying new ones at a discount. The other key finder products had good and bad reviews, but I chose The Cube. Let me tell you what happened. I installed the app on three devices before receiving The Cubes. The Cube could only be used on one device. That has changed. I had created a Cube login so that I could see my devices on The Cube's web page, and I had also created a Cube account so that I could log on to each of my devices. When The Cubes arrived at my home, I linked them with my wife's phone and tested them. I opened The Cube's app on my phone and tablets and there was no extra hassle. I tested them on each device and they worked. I used The Cubes to ring the phones and tablets, and then used them as a remote shutter release to take photos. You will want to know how they work. They only use one device at a time. When my wife looks at The Cube's app on her phone, it tells her that my Cube is on my phone. She can't ring my cube. It can only be done with my phone. If I turn my phone off, I can take my phone out of the range or I can turn it off in a minute. She can ring my cube if it is lost. I had a cube that disconnected from a phone, but there was no apparent reason. The cube was touching my phone. The receiver may have been "swamped" by the phone. This is not a new occurrence. Within a minute or so, my phone found the cube when I separated the two. It wasn't instantaneous. If you lose your keys while your phone is away from The Cube, they will be disconnected. As you look for the keys, you need to proceed slowly so that the two have time to talk. Some people complained about The Cube's volume. Unless the surroundings are loud, it won't be screeching. The little button on the unit lights up when it goes off in the dark. I think the update when I affiliated The Cubes to my device apps may have fixed a lot of what others had complained about. Each unit can now be used with different devices. If you report your lost item to The Cube Community through the app, others will find it. I've been testing these things all day and they seem to work. I'll use the little tool that came with The Cube to open the case and insert the spare battery when the battery dies. I'll update this if I discover something I don't like. Today is July 14.

👤The collar tag is light and can be worn for full time, but you have to fiddle with it and sometimes get false beeps. You will learn how to use this device over time. I wish there was an earphone jack as I'm hard of hearing and the beeps are key to listen to for determining your search direction not to mention disturbing to neighbors as you are looking for your pet and crossing their yards My cat is a wanderer and sometimes bolts out the door, but we don't see him do it. He ran away for about an hour before we noticed he was missing. After walking in the direction of the usual places, he finally got a faint signal in an odd direction. I would have spent a lot of time searching if it wasn't for the help of Girafus. I wouldn't have guessed to look there. I'm not sure if he would have known how to get home because it started raining shortly thereafter, which I would think would have killed the scent. Thank you, Girafas, for a very happy conclusion.
👤If you are reading this, you have to figure out what tracking device would best suit your needs. This is the best bet if you use for cat. Radio Frequency locators work best for cats because they don't go too far and if you do your Tabcat, it has the 2nd longest battery life next to black RF locator. You can try and get a ping to locate your cat by walking or riding a bike. The build quality and reliability of this locator was what made me choose it over the other one. Too many people said the other one stopped working. There is a When my Reef Cat misses a meal, the first thing I do is worry. Tabcat can be used to see if he is hiding close by, and if the locator picks up signal. If not, I will get some of his used cat litter and spread it thinly in all 4 corners of the house or property. This is the best bet for your kitty to find their way home. This works. I use the locator to find him. The price you pay for the piece of mind is more than worth it. There is a tag, locator, Silicone case, lanyard, 2 watch batteries, and a battery charger in this package. The deal was great and arrived in 2 days.
👤A small cat can wear a collar all the time. You don't have ongoing costs if you have aGPS locator. We can find our cat in a matter of minutes if we go out in our yard. It runs loose during the day. If no signal is received in our yard, we circle around the block until we can expand our range. If a cat is in a place where the signal is not strong, it may take 30 seconds for the collar device to turn on and start sending signals back. It's handy to know where the cat usually hangs out, even if it's just in the house and he sleeps/hides in strange places like suspended ceiling in basmnt. Without it, we'd be lost.

👤On the first day I received it, it was wonderful. I could see where my cat would go in the live view because it had a clear signal. The next day there were big problems. It doesn't see gps, it gives false locations, the power saving zone is no longer recognized, and so on. He came home and didn't see that he was home because the device/app couldn't see where he was for three hours. I've been on the phone with customer service and I've reset and restarted. They had me go for a walk around the neighborhood with the tracker in my pocket, but so far that has proved to be of no use. I didn't know why I was working so well the first day and then nothing the next day. The weather has been nice. It was very frustrating. There is a The activity part of the device is pretty neat. If this works and the problem is fixed in the next week or so, I will change my rating. New replacement works great! OK. I have been through two replacements and after experiencing frustration with the second replacement, Tractiv, they sent me out a third one saying the issue might have been that I was on T-Mobile. I received a new one on March 3 with a different kind of elastic retainer for the collar and it was in a box with a dog on it. It might be a tiny bit larger than the original one I received, but it works perfectly! After five days of using the activity monitor, the battery was down to 42%, and I was able to track him live when he did go out. I set up the power saving zone in my home so that it would read it perfectly, as well as the safety zones. It tells me when he leaves the zone I made on the app. The gps signal is always clear. They delivered on what I wanted. I hope it works in the future.
👤I have a small cat that likes to hunt at night. I have tried many different trackers for her and this one is my favorite. I've tried many different trackers for her. I traded my dog's Whistle collar for the one I bought for my cat because I loved the Tractive collar so much. The collar is designed to track pets. I felt like the whole interface is better because the Jiobit was not. The app is user friendly. I like the app. It is easy to use and has cool features like allowing your pet to compete with others in the area for most activity. It allows you to share your cat's location with family and friends. It's affordable. The collar is cheap and the plan is less expensive. I pay a little more for the protection plan. Tracking my cat's activity, calories burned, calm minutes and time sleeping is fun. Great tracking features make it fun. Every few seconds, your cat's location is updated on the tracker. The tracker blinks during live tracking. Live tracking allows me to get my cat in the woods if I am close enough to see a blinking light in the dark. The app can give you notifications when your cat enters or leaves a virtual fence. I put one in my yard. This feature is very useful when trying to get the cat in during the day or in the evening, as it gives her a notification when she enters the yard and I can grab her. Excellent accuracy. In areas where cell service is bad, the tracker is not always the most accurate. I wouldn't say any of the trackers I have tried for my cat are superb. I was excited when tractive introduced this because it is one of my favorite features on my dog's whistle tracker. Tractive did not do a good job with this. It interfered with my virtual fence. If the Whistle collar is in the range of the internet, you could use it to see if your cat is in the vicinity or not. It was bulky. My cat is 7.5 lbs. It connects nicely to her collar. The rubber sleeve that comes with the cat collar is more comfortable for her than the other collar. I think she doesn't mind wearing it. The appearance. The navy sleeve is much better than the cat-specific collar. I would like it to be a little smaller. I love this collar. It is easy to use, has cool extra features, and gets the job done at a fraction of the cost as a whistle. I would recommend people with cats that don't like to come in at night to get an indoor cat.
