👤Good price. It worked well. I replaced the screen on a friend's Ipad mini. This is not new. The internet works well with this.

👤Didn't work. I feel confident that I didn't mess it up because I have repaired a few of my ipads and ipad minis. I replaced this and it still didn't work. I bought a new iPad.

👤Funciona, poco masque, simplemente vuelve a funcionar, en mi caso mini abad 2

👤L'articolo funziona bene ed ben imballato. In altre parole, se l'iPad non ha il gps dalla fabbrica.

👤I've ordered this part twice. The first one had a foam block missing from the right side. The second one I ordered had a solder point broken on the left side antenne and paper strips pulled off of 2 of the grounding tape sections. It would be a better review if I could get one in good condition.

3. Receiver Antenna Gmouse Laptop Navigation

Receiver Antenna Gmouse Laptop Navigation

Menu is used to get the data from the gps receiver after instialled U-CENTER V8X. The software can be downloaded from the official website. It's compatible with Win 11/10/ Win 8/. Win 7/Vista/XP/98/CE. The software is free. All-in-view tracking on 56 channels. The U-BLOX 7 Chipset has a Magnetic base, high sensitivity and Strong Singal. Tracking sensitivity is high. IPX4 water resistance, dust-tight, cable length is 6.5 Ft. OpenCPN can be supported on the Raspberry Pi. One year warranty.

Brand: Vfan

👤I was able to get the gps receiver to work with OpenCPN on my cheapo Windows 10 tablets. I plugged the receiver into the port that was provided for it. The driver was installed by Windows 10. I opened the "Option" menu, selected "Connections", and then clicked to look at the available COM ports. In my case, I chose the newCOM7 for me, and chose a buad rate of 9600, which is the same as the standard 4800 default. I clicked "Apply" and voila! The satellite logo in the upper right corner of the screen turned red to green when my boat appeared on the chart. The Ublox program is not needed. The big take-away is that Windows 10 will automatically download the right driver, but it is only for the serial tousb part of the receiver. It shows up on Windows 10 Device Manager as a new COM port, not as a "GPS Receiver" or something similar, but as a new port under the "Ports (COM & LPT)" header. OpenCPN can receive and decode the "GPGSV" and "GPGLL" sentences if the receiver spits them out.

👤I wanted to use Open CPN as a navigation software and install the U-Blox 7 gps sensor. Not this year. The "sensor" is not compatible with Windows 10 without uploading a Virtual Comm Port. On the U-Blox website, they offer the VCP with an.EXE extension, but it is not an exe file, but something called a 10 file. I think you understand the picture. The internet is full of people who are experiencing the same issues. All necessary charts are downloaded and plug-ins are available. If your computer isn'tGPS enabled and you are using OpenCPN, I would suggest you use another antenna. Why 2 stars. I was able to get the software they give to see antenna performance to work, and the lat and lon were correct. I have been trying to work around the difference between a device and a sensor for over four hours. I sent emails to both of them with no response.

👤This device was bought with the intention of cannibalizing it. Attach it to a port and read the output for accuracy. The device I tested used a /dev/cu* device instead of a tty. The time and gps information was accurate. The internal device was in the shell. I had to destroy the shell. There aren't any screws. The RF shield fell off. It had to be re- soldered back on. There are five The Ubx-G7020-KT is the "standard" grade device. The more rugged G7020-KA is not what it is. There is a small battery on the board that can be used for a real time clock. This would allow for quicker signal acquisition. I would expect this device to fail after a few years. I wouldn't recommend this device for harsh environments. The manufacturing process used is flawed and no gasket are used to stop the flow of water. The manufacturing process was not enough to keep the shield in place. There are three The chip is not rated for harsh environments. It was a bargain, but don't trust it if safety or cyber security is ever going to be an issue. The battery was a pleasant surprise, but I wonder why the low end device has this.

4. Proxicast Professional Low Profile Combination Vehicle

Proxicast Professional Low Profile Combination Vehicle

A single streamlined weatherproof enclosure is used to combine 2 wireless networks and a gps antenna. 2x2 MIMO is available on all 3G, 4G, and xLTE systems worldwide. The radome is 1.26 inch high and vandal resistant. Extra long leads for large vehicles. It is compatible with multi-radio routers and modems from companies such as CalAmp, Sierra Wireless and many others. It is installed in minutes with just one hole. Includes all the necessary hardware. Completely waterproof.

Brand: Proxicast

👤I liked the length of cables provided but they complicated the install and tested a Nighthawk using this in dual MIMO and I noticed a gain of 0-1db with this connected and mounted. I have a hole in my wall and a useless antenna.

👤I wanted to like this antenna, but it didn't give me the results I was looking for. I was going to use this in a conversion van project with a MoFi router. I liked the low profile nature and the fact that it would allow me to have my 4G/LTE all from one antenna. All of my tests showed no improvement in my connection. I assumed my connection would be garbage because my MoFi antennas are inside the van. They are performing better than I thought, because this Proxicast offered no improvement. I'll be returning it and maybe looking into some of their other products.

👤The product is slim. Pre made connections are nice.

👤It works as advertised. There are a few channels in RV parks. There are as many as 36 channels near towns.

👤This is the standard antenna for fire responders. It is easy to connect to our devices with the appropriate cable lengths.

👤It works a bit, I think it is related to spectrums. The antennas don't say what they do other than "lte" or " wifi". Is it 700, 850,1900,2100,2600? It doesn't work with the local carrier.

5. Stratux Receiver Aviation Weather Traffic

Stratux Receiver Aviation Weather Traffic

A unit with an apostasy The dual band ADS-B receiver includes a puck, a battery pack, a strap, and an EFB. It has a 30 day return policy and technical support. The most recentware: The latest version of the software is loaded on the card. Plug in the battery pack for 6 hours of flying time. COMPATIBILITY: Scout prices have the features of the stratus 3. Does not work with a navigation device.

Brand: Crew Dog Electronics

👤I'm impressed. The accuracy seems perfect. I used the gps puck antenna to test it out on the ground. The parking spot next to the handicapped spot was found by the unit when I was in Foreflight. It's worked well in flight, though I haven't used all the capabilities yet, but I have confidence that I've bought an excellent device. This connected easily with my IPad and Foreflight, and I was able to use it immediately. It was very easy to use. It's hard to find a good recommendation or review for a storage case for the Stratux, but I included a pic of the case I'm using, not the first one to discover it. I'm going to make it clear here. This case works fabulously. In a hard-side case that protects the unit in my flight bag, the unit, the gps puck antenna, and the antennas all fit, in a space no larger than it needs to be. I might drill a few holes to make the antennas stick out. The case is solid.

👤The unit has become useless for about a month because it constantly connects and disengages from the iPad. I am not sure if it always restarts, but I have tried different cables and things, but nothing. I have a suspicion that the microusb plug is loose, along with the ADSB antenna chip, which I get disconnected a few times as well. The case's microusb input needs to be changed to make it easier to guide the cable. It is a hit or miss when trying to plug-in without looking at it. We will see what happens after I contact the company. If you're a weekend warrior, this might work for you. If you want to use it a lot, I don't know if it can stand that kind of demand. The unit works well and shows traffic. The seller is very responsive. I can't get it to a resolution of less than 10 m. Constantly ignoring warnings is probably not a good idea for me. The internal iPad antenna has a resolution of 2 - 3 m. Not a big deal, but I would like the "SmartWiFi" to work. I don't know what it does, but I think it allows you to connect to the internet while also being connected to the stratux, and I didn't find any documentation on it. To make that happen, one needs to get to the configuration of the WiFi and the address of the internet to set it up as a pass through device. There was no instructions or guidance from the seller. The power button on the battery doesn't seem to keep the Stratux turned off. Unplugging is the only way to go. I turned off the power button on the battery and put the Stratux in my bag, but it didn't turn on. The mini-usb plug might be loose. I'm going to buy another device that's close to twice the price. I hope it fits my needs better.

👤I got the wrong antenna. There are 3 photos of the right antenna. The left antenna was delivered to me.

👤The left antenna was received. I need a right antenna because of the photo in the description.

👤It was a pain to install.

7. Dual Electronics XGPS150A Multipurpose Augmentation

Dual Electronics XGPS150A Multipurpose Augmentation

Add Gps. You can strengthen your Gps signal on any device by connecting via wireless. The free downloadable app provides accurate gps coordinates, position update rate change, and much more. Being able to add accurate gps to your device will allow you to use hundreds of available apps. The Gps receiver has a battery life of over eight hours of continuous use and comes with a usb charging cord. That will stick to most surfaces.

Brand: Dual Electronics

👤It works better than I anticipated. I have an older WiFi only iPad Mini that I wanted to use for navigation but it doesn't have built-in gps. When I connected my iPad mini to the dual XGPS105A via a wireless connection, it asked to download the accompanying app. The app is useful. It tells you the number of satellites you are connected to, the signal strength, position information, and the battery status. I turned it on in the house because I couldn't wait but I was able to connect to multiple satellites with ease. I thought I would have to go outside. With the gps locked and loaded, I tried out some maps. Both worked well. My weather radar map is now location enabled. Awesome. I have taken it down the road a few times now, about 100 miles total, without issue, but I will update this review once I have a longer road trip under my belt. I didn't expect to see the app mentioned in any of the reviews or forums. This thing is special. I can't wait to try it out against other devices, like a newer iPad, windows tablets, and some surveying equipment. I will report back, but so far it's been good.

👤Don't buy anything from AXXERA or DUAL. The unit will work for 25 times, then the internals will short out, killing the battery, but they will sell you another battery. Next year there will be some other name. They changed their names to keep up with consumer fraud. Don't buy anything made by these people. You will be sad.

👤I bought a gps receiver for my Jeep. This product works in conjunction with my Apple iPad and provides pin point accurate gps for any app you are using. It takes 5 to 10 minutes to connect to my iPad via BluTooth once I turn on the puck. This could be my fault. Overall very pleased! It's easy to charge up at home or in your vehicle. Very easy to use. I stuck a piece of tape to the back of the vehicle and it still works.

👤For almost two months, use the dual XGPS150A with my iPad 2. Since the iPad 2 didn't have a gps receiver installed, I decided to use the dual XGPS 150A, which is described in the technical documentation to receive 12 gps and up. The dual XGPS15A is a free navigation app that has a very simple and minimalist design. The dual XGPS150A receiver is small and has Haptics very pleasant. The gps is green. The Bluethooth connection is created relatively fast after switch on, but the GLONASS satellites are not supported, but they are displayed in the app, but they are crossed out. It happens in dense forests on winding roads and in large cities close to tall houses. When you're on foot in New York, Boston, and Chicago, the pressure point is non-tactile, so locating is almost non-existent. The dual XGPS150A would no longer splash water and dirt if you removed the plastic cover and cut a hole in the non-slip pad.

8. Waterproof Active Antenna 28dB 3 5VDC

Waterproof Active Antenna 28dB 3 5VDC

It's compatible with the NETGEAR MR1100. The SMA male connection is on the waterproof ActiveGPS antenna. Attach it to the roof of your car with a magnetic base. It has a gain of 28 dB. 3 meters is the length of the cable.

Brand: Qgp Supply

👤I bought a car stereo that I really liked and it came with a gps antenna, but in my SUV I was getting poor gps reception. I downloaded a gps signal app and it showed a small connection to 3 or 4 satellites. I don't think the gps antenna that came with the car stereo was the cause of the terrible reception my phone had. I decided to try this antenna instead of the one that came with my stereo after reading the reviews. Wow, the signal strength to 12 satellites is very strong. The signal improvement was night and day compared to the one I replaced. Couldn't be happier.

👤The products work as they should. I use it with an amateur radio project. I am concerned about the quality of the SMA cable. I already see a loosen of cable when in use, and they are of a cheap stamped crimp build. I had to secure the cable to keep it from moving. I think this is to lightweight of cable for the device and not enough for a proper connection. When the product arrived early, I was concerned that the device would not work or be in one piece. The package had been badly damaged and left concern. I will keep my previous comments after using this gps puck for several months. I have two of them. One for home and one for truck. I have been living in the desert and have been able to test this. It went through a lot of precipitation. It is still working. The magnet is not moving. I am able to see about 17 satellites at most times. This is connected to a radio station. 73, de KF6NFW.

👤I have a cheap gps module and three antennas, but a small ceramic antenna on a roof with a great sky visibility is non-working, and a larger sim39EA antenna that gets a fix within 3-6 minutes outdoors is not always reliable. Within 5 seconds, the module can fix the sats. Absolutely worth it.

👤I need to integrate an external gps antenna into my electrics kit. The cable is long, the antenna is covert, and the magnetic base is nice. The unit was tested in the basement of my house, which is not the best location for gps reception. The antenna had a lock on it. Very impressed! The antenna will not work on its own. You need to connect it to the SMA.

👤This is a good unit. It seems like it would be water resistant. And be strong. Nice SMA connection. Pulls in signals very well. This is not a dual band antenna. Galileo will not be picked up by it. This is not a fault of the unit because it did not pretend to do so. The cost of dual band antennas is high.

👤The SkyTraq Venus838FLPxGPS is working very well, thanks to this antenna. The wire length provided is going to allow me to wrap up the datalogger/lap timer project that I just finished, and I am in the process of mounting this antenna to my motorcycle. I was able to pick up the signal from the inside of the house without any issues. I would recommend this antenna to anyone.

9. GlobalSat BU 353 S4 USB Receiver Black

GlobalSat BU 353 S4 USB Receiver Black

A built-in gps patch antenna. A built-in roof mount Magnet. 48 channels of all-in-view tracking SiRF Star IV is a gps device.

Brand: Globalsat

👤The NMEAGPS Receiver is used for applications. Does not provide location services to Windows. It was weatherized to handle all but submersion. It can be attached to many surfaces without damage. The body panels of a car are included. complies with the standards of the NMEA. The interface is a standardusb-to-serial The COM4 settings are used by the NMEA interface. There is no support for Windows location services. The device is an NMEA device. It will work in any location that works with NMEA, but no modern Windows applications. It is only IPX6 rated, meaning it is not truly waterproof. It can handle a lot of rain. Only one location update per second. This is not a 5hertz version. There's a software package that will connect to an NMEA device and create a Windows Sensor for use with location services. This is a software solution for the hardware manufacturer's lack of native software. There are some bugs. It works. The package in question is calledGPSdirect. My only problems are with the software. I know the device complies with the standards it claims to support. There are newer standards in 2015.

👤They started giving me times in 1905 after using these for a while. I get the correct date when I boot up. The receiver no longer responds and sends data after I tried to go back to the script I wrote. Until the date changes, it works well with gpsd. It works well, other than producing data that is useless. I'm not sure if we're talking about the same device. The one I have connects to a port at a rate of 5000 baud. A driver is needed to read serial data. Any application can read the data once the driver is installed, I wrote a Python script that opens the device and reads the "sentences". The first consideration is that the initial read could be a bit long. The reader has to sync with the stream, which is not difficult considering the second consideration, which is each sentence is terminated with two newline characters. When you get a full line that starts with a '$', you sync by reading. I can read the data from the receiver using "cat". The heading sentence is not generated by the receiver. The antennae is bulky, but magnetic.

👤This is my 3rd one. I use them on Windows 10 64 bit machines to do the time setting for some applications that I run. The mini-disk that comes with the puck has a utility. Your windows time is dead on if that utility is running. Turn off Windows internal time setting so they don't compete. Highly recommend the software. The program and gps ran 24x7 and the difference between and this was +0.011 seconds. I have an Amazon purchased gps repeater that is stuck on a broom handle against a window in my basement and I am seeing 7 satellites from it. The sensitivity is very good. The HDOP is 1.9 and thePDOP is 2.5. Anything below 4 is considered great.

10. Dual Electronics XGPS160 Multipurpose Augmentation

Dual Electronics XGPS160 Multipurpose Augmentation

The wide area augmentation system allows your device to connect to several satellites and provide accurate and reliable gps coordinates within 2.5m, Max Speed of 1,150 mph and Max Altitude of 65,600 ft. You can greatly strengthen your gps signal on any device by connecting to it via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless network via the gps wireless Hundreds of applications can be added to your device if you can add accurateGPS to it. The 1 year warranty has high quality and reliability with hassle-free parts and excellent customer service. The dimensions are 2.24” W x 2.24” D x 0.75” H. The battery can be charged in 3 hours. Plug in to 12Volts of direct current source for continuous use.

Brand: Dual Electronics

👤I've been on my third unit since November. The first unit bricked after six months of ownership. After a few months, the replacement unit stopped charging more than 50%. The third unit will no longer be seen by any apps even if the iPhone connects successfully. What is the solution to dual? Wait for an update. A piece of hardware that worked before with multiple apps and no longer works with any of them is going to be fixed by a single app update. I'm not holding my breath. There was an update on February 27th. My third device has failed but will not be covered by a warranty. Two years ago. They don't stand behind their products because of a serious quality control issue. I wouldn't recommend this gps.

👤They managed to have a high review rate on this product. There were more than 4 stars on its page. The usage experience is terrible. It can't establish stable satellite connections, either onboard aircraft or walking on the street, about 80% of the time. There are not a lot of buildings around and they are not separated from each other. I have traveled around the world. The utility app on the phone needs to be opened to get position for the map. My colleague bought a similar device on the aircraft, which worked just fine, but it was not connected to the iPad. I put the left side of my helmet upside down almost every time I flew, because I didn't like the idea of it being upside down. We have the same version of the software, connection to pad devices worked fine, but mine took forever to establish satellites connection, no matter how I tried. This is a result of the comments. The one without cable is mine. I kept trying more and more and decided to come back and leave something here, but I don't know how deep the hole will be.

👤The XGPS160 track logs are not always up to date, and they have gaps of a couple of seconds with no position reports. The track logs did not have these gaps. I had to manually connect the XGPS160 to the phone each time. When the view to the southern sky was blocked by steep hillsides, the GLO was more accurate. The view to the WAAS satellites may have been partially or fully blocked. Maybe the GLO handles that situation better. The two devices had the same accuracy on the flats where the southern sky was not blocked. I used the XGPS160 logging mode with no connection to the iPhone to compare, but I used the GLO to record tracks. I drove through the Santa Cruz Mountains and the San Francisco Bay Area on the same routes. The tracks from the two devices were very close to the southern sky. When the southern sky was not visible, the GLO tracks were more close to each other and to the location of the roads. The XGPS160 tracks were close to the ground. The dual XGPS status tool is a nice utility, but it has some rough edges, like the fact that it never reported that the WAAS satellites were in use, even though the comparison with GLO suggested they were indeed being used by the XGPS160. The Trips page often has multiple tracks listed.

11. Bad Elf 2300 Bluetooth Barometric

Bad Elf 2300 Bluetooth Barometric

The high performance gps and navigators. Without an internet connection or a monthly subscription, the utility of your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch is enhanced. Adds barometric altitude for pilots and raw barometer readings for boaters with a built-in digital barometric sensor. The data can be streamed directly to a PC or Mac. It adds easy access to recorded data logs, which can be up to 200 hours worth of storage. Your iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch form is carrying the power burden of determining your position without a 24 hour battery. Without an internet connection or monthly subscription, the high performance gps receiver will enhance the utility of your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch.

Brand: Bad Elf

👤When taxiing at large airports, I rely on the Bad Elf for position accuracy. I used this for a couple months without any problems after I bought it in December, and it locked onto satellites quickly. It became unreliable for no reason. I placed it in the cockpit, but it couldn't lock onto satellites. Sometimes it would work and sometimes it wouldn't. I don't know what to expect when I turn it on. It worked for most of my flight across the Atlantic, but for the last couple hours of the flight it wouldn't lock onto any satellites, even though it had them in view. Sometimes it will power off after a few minutes, even though the battery shows 3 out of 4 bars. My coworkers don't have these types of problems. Over the last few weeks, I have contacted Bad Elf, and they were very responsive, but they still didn't fix the problems. Bad Elf customer service will not return my emails, will not provide a replacement or repair, and will abdicate their responsibility in covering their product. The seller won't offer a return because it's past the 30 day return policy. I spent over $200 on a product that only works intermittently. I can not recommend this product, and I am not happy with Bad Elf customer service.

👤After I went into tunnels on road trips, my Pro+ stopped tracking and didn't reacquire again. It would power on out in the open and not find any satellites for an hour or so, and then it would magically pop in. Load an older firmware was what worked for me. I manually loaded the next older firmware, 2.1.43, after my unit came with 2.1.44. I ignore the bad elf app's upgrade notice because it's been rock solid. If I hold the button in while I power it on, the factory resets back to 2.1.44, even after I upgrade to the latest version. I have no problems with both 44 and 50 so far. If it helps someone else, please post it. I can report that the BadElf has worked perfectly every time I have powered it on since I reverted to the older version in October. When the gps signal is blocked, it regains lock right away. The BadElf has worked great using 2.1.43. I upgraded to the new BEGPS-2300-v2.1.52b0 and so far it's good. I will post an update if something changes. The BEGPS-2300-v2.1.52b0 was good for a while, but on my last long road trip it stopped tracking after 30 minutes, and it wasn't in a tunnel. Going back to 2.1.42.

👤I had to return the Bad Elf because it had a bad battery. I got a new one and within 4 months the gps screen went black and won't work at all. I had this for a while and Bad Elf said Tough Luck PAL! No help or ideas on how to fix it. I am an Airline Pilot and I am very grateful that this was not required equipment. Trust me when I say it is a waste of money. At airshows, where I fly a WW2 Warbird for exhibition purposes, I am often asked what kind of accessories I recommend. I warn those who are in the market to stay away from Bad Elf Products because they are trash and have no place in a cockpit. If you want to find your home while driving a moped, good luck, but you have been warned. I will give you my email address if you spend $200 on a Bad Elf product, and it will work just as well as anything they send you. You can not say you were not warned.
