APPS2Car Windshield DriveSmart DriveassistRV StreetPilot

This ball mount is not compatible with RV 890. Extra long gout arm. The aluminum long arm can bend up to 13 inches for various visual angles to your liking, making it easy to mount the gps on the dashboard without blocking the field of view. The gps dash mount is made of a sticky gel and a locking lever that will not come undone or slip off, and you can easily mount it on most flat surfaces. The anti-shake stabilizer is held in place by the strong sticky cup ball mount. A replacement gps holder is an alternative to gps air vent mount holder, gps friction beanbag mount holder and gps dash pad. The fit for Drivesmart 50 is wide. RV 660 760 770 (LMT LMT-S), Nuvi cam, and Zumo are all part of the LMT NA. The StreetPilot DriveLuxe Aera DriveRrack series is one of them.

👤The unit is not compatible with the RV. The mount is too small. Unless there is a change out ball for the mount, the unit will have to be returned.

👤I bought this as a replacement for a previous design that was mounted directly to the windshield with a short, rigid extension. The new version has a longer "gooseneck" and a better cup that grips like a vise. My initial impressions are that it will hold up, but it's not certain if it will hold up to the constant vibration and sunlight that weaken mounts over time. If you don't need the reach of the previous version, the gooseneck may be a better choice. I quickly realized that mounting my gps to the fully extended gooseneck without thestabilizer was not a good idea. At the end of the "stalk," my gps swayed and jiggled at the bumps in the road. I didn't think there was a risk of it coming loose, but the bouncing was very distracting. In my preferred mounting location, there isn't a good place to add the stabilizer, so I looked for another location where I could brace the gooseneck or the gps against something solid. I put the gps on top of the dash and mounted it directly in front of my driving position. The two points of stability provided by this may not be the best solution for safety reasons. It's helpful to have the gps positioned so close to the controls. Having a constantly moving display right in my line of sight is not good. I think the previous version was better for my needs, even though I may get used to it in time. It was long enough to keep the gps within easy reach, but off to the side where it didn't compete for my attention. I may try to figure out a way to move the mount back to the side with the bracing.

👤My car is a Chrysler Town and Country. I need a long mounting device to be used in my day-to-day driving with my gps device. Your product is very sturdy. The mounting attachment on my Garmin model should work fine even though it isn't listed in the product description. I noticed that the mounting ball doesn't snap into the back of my Garmin nearly as securely as the stanchion that comes with the typical auto units. I'm not sure if it's a problem yet, but I'm sure a good bounce in the water here in Michigan will knock it off the mount. It has solved my issue with locating my gps device. This mount has long-reach, exaggerated sloped windshields.

👤It's a great gps holder. It holds my gps very well. The ball fits well to the gps sockets and the suction is very strong. It does not come with brackets, so I give it 4 stars. If you need brackets to hold your phone, you're out of luck because it doesn't include them with it. You have to look for a different model. I only need it to hold my 7 inch gps and I am very happy with it.

The most durable phone mount is the Vicseed. The carbon fiber panel is always in good shape. It won't suck ash easily and will get ugly. It is not like other Silicone phone clamps, it is made of Airplane PTFE, which is temperature resistant. You deserved the mount. The Vast Compatibility is based on a spring locking system for most 7 to 12 inch tablets. The Suction Cup Phone Mount works for the 13ProMax. 12Mini 11 There are 8 7+ 7 SE 6S+ 6S 6+ 6 5S 5, and the SAMSUNG GALAXY S22 Ultra S22+ S21+ S20 S20+ S10 S10+ S9 S9+ S8 S8+ S. Premium extra long arm made of thick aluminum pipe up to 13 inches makes it easy to reach and operate your phone. It's useful for the dashboard and the windshield. The two-stage locking suction cup has a sticky gel pad that sticks securely to most flat surfaces. It can be restored to its mint condition by rinsing it with warm water. It is amazing to have a larger screen for hands-free navigation during a road trip, and spend more time at the wheel and eyes on the road. You can have your perfect viewing angle with full 360-degree rotation. It's perfect for off-road entertainment when you're on a road trip. Also, note: It doesn't work for the iPad Pro and the Tab S8 Ultra. Also, note: The total length of the car mount holder is 15 inches, and the arm length is 13 inches.

👤After only four months, the slimy, sticky mess that is the gel adhesive began to melt and slide all over the place. You can see that in the photos. I just finished 3 hours of using different chemicals to try and get the mess off my car. I'll be trying to clean the mess on my windshield for several more days. If you need a glass cleaner and other chemicals to get your car back to normal after you remove a portable device, then you have a poorly designed product. Don't let this thing ruin your car. It worked well for a while before it started melting and sliding around.

👤I have a device from the same company. It's difficult to find a holder for a vehicle of this size. I have to say that is finally true. I am so happy I made this purchase. It doesn't fall, it's amazing! It was perfect after we took a ride on the backroads. I think this is a great tablet holder.

👤I use this to hold my iPad Pro. This is a high quality product. I was not sure if it would hold my iPad steady. I figured out the best way to adjust the long neck. I put it next to my radio so that it doesn't block my view of the road or the surrounding area. I use it to display my dashboard with critical info while I'm driving. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to use an iPad in their car. The design of the phone is small enough that it will work with any phone on the market, no matter the size of the device. It is awesome. I would have liked to have had one for a long time.

👤Over the last couple months, the cup had turned a brownish color. I didn't think much of it until a couple days ago when I noticed that something was dripping from the dashboard. The sticky gel on the cup had melted due to the hot weather and was all over my dashboard and windshield. I was able to clean up the mess, but it is no longer usable. I'm looking at more of a permanent mount. It works perfectly when I use it to hold my S4 tablets while driving for the ride-sharing company. I had to adjust this a few times to make it more stable, but once I found the sweet spot, it was perfect! I can use the app on my phone to check flight status, look up information for passengers, and keep the app active on the tablets.

👤It is too strong for my needs. Sort of. The sticky glue on the suction pad makes it feel like it needs to stay mounted permanently. I don't need to have this mounted all the time, but it's almost impossible to get it off the car. I need to be on the go and this adds stress when I am busy. It feels well built but it doesn't serve my purpose.

3. Garmin Portable Friction Mount Frustration

Garmin Portable Friction Mount Frustration

Amazon ships in Frustration-Free Packaging. The shape of the four-arm is similar to the dashboard. The ball mount is easy to attach to your cradle. The StreetPilot C5XX series is compatible with the nvi series. One-year limited warranty.

Brand: Garmin

👤The AC vent holders block the air flow and the suction cup ones come loose right away, so I've tried all of the other mounts. I had to remove the AC grate clips when I wasn't using them. The clips are difficult to remove and insert. The cup was difficult to get to stick to. I decided to give it a try and am happy I did. This is on top of the dash of my Honda CR-V. This thing didn't budge a millimeter because I took some corners hard and did some hard stops. I can remove the gps from the dashboard and put it on the floor in front of the seat to get it out of view when I am parked. Simply put it back on the dashboard and I'll leave. I finally found a mount that works for me.

👤I don't know if this product works or not. I didn't get a chance to use it because it doesn't fit the DriveSmart 65. I was going to buy the DriveSmart from the store, but on the page where it states "Frequently Bought Together", there was a friction mount listed. I assumed it was made for the gps device I bought. I was wrong. This type of mount does not fit the DriveSmart base. I would like to see it removed from the recommendation listing. I don't like wasting money.

👤This thing is great. I rely on the voice assist on my gps to help me avoid looking down while driving, but sometimes it can't be avoided. I've tried a lot of different mounts over the years and this is my favorite. It stays on the top of my dashboard and is very well weighted. I can read the gps with a quick glance. One advantage of this is that once the mounting bar is in place, you can either lock it in place or leave it unlocked and it will turn around as needed. I will probably never lock it because the mounting bar doesn't turn without help. I have a compartment in my dashboard that I can put shade in if it is particularly sunny or if I am on a bumpy road.

👤The concept is great, but the ball where the gps is attached is too small for my gps, which causes the screen to flop down. I measure the diameter of my window mount ball to make sure it's not too big. The window mount is 17.21mm. The ball is about 16.86mm. It may not seem like much, but is the difference between a screed that stays where you point it or points at the floor after a few seconds of driving? I have only read about a couple customers with the same issue, so I assume it is not widespread, or people are more tolerant than I am.

👤I've had a gps device for 6 years and have gone through several cups. Their life ends and the gps falls onto the dashboard, scaring the person driving and anyone in the car. I was a bit hesitant about this purchase, but it really is amazing. The mount can be moved to another vehicle or taken down. The Garmin is in place as it should be. If only we could get the navigation unit to start packaging these babies.

4. ARKON GN079WD Replacement Additional Windshield

ARKON GN079WD Replacement Additional Windshield

The nuvi devices have a 17mm ball mounting pattern. The sticky base has a maximum surface bond. The arm of the mount adjusts vertically. The mount package only includes the Sticky Suction Mounting Pedestal with 3-inch arm and 17mm ball head. The above listed nuvi devices should have a 17mm ball compatible holder.

Brand: Arkon

👤On July 19th, this extended arm mount was received. It was attached to my 4Runner dash using a stick-on disk, but not using a suction cup. It has not released contact yet, and it has a DriveSmart 61 gps on it, but it is in the summer. It adjusts to a wide range of angles and stays locked in position. I used rubbing alcohol to clean the spot on the dash, allowed the alcohol plenty of time to dry, and put the cup in the fridge for 24 hours before loading the gps unit. If you don't lift and remount the cup, it will become sticky in it's own rite, and you may have worse luck with it staying attached. The length of the mounts arm allows me to hang the gps low off the end of the dash, and just above the AC vent, without blocking the air flow. Highly recommended.

👤The arm appears to be 3 inches longer than it is in the image. I needed a mount for the rear view monitor in the RV. The monitor was kept at an odd angle by horizontal mounts. The monitor is nicely adjusted and positioned. The cup is tacky and really sticks to the disc. In the past, I have had problems with these black-colored mounts getting too hot and even melting when placed on a car's dash or windshield. I am not sure if this one would survive under those conditions. I would suggest removing it when not needed. When not using the mount, cut out a piece of round, white paper and put it over the disc.

👤I had this for 6 years and it was probably responsible for it's eventual failure. Since no men read instructions, you have to break the seal by lifting the rubber edge, which my husband didn't do. It would have lasted longer. It lasted as long as it did and I recommend it. I wouldn't put a gps in my car. The safest place to take your eyes off the road is in the middle of the windshield.

👤It adds flexibility to where you can position your gps, which is something the mounts can't provide. The ball head is different from the other mounts because it has been extended out from the end of the arm to give clearance for the collar the ball snaps into. That increases the amount of travel that the gps can take, increasing the angle the gps can be positioned at. The second thing is that the arm and travel add to the position options on your dash or windshield. The recess at the bottom of the base is deeper than the one at the top of the base, which increases the holding force of the mount. The cup is made from a softer, more flexible material that makes it stick. On a smooth surface, I found that just pushing down on the mount without even flipping the locking lever, it already affixes itself, flipping the lever to increase the suction locks it into place. The mount has been used on both the Honda Accord and the Chevy Cruze, without the need for the included disc.

Brand: Scosche

👤I ruined my phone by using this. How? The metal plate you attach to the phone will get very hot during wireless charging, which will destroy the phone's battery and cause it to die. I had a metal plate on the phone and a case over it. My phone was ruined when I moved the plate to the outside of the case to get a better hold on the magnet. The metal plate was too hot to touch because of the build up of heat between it and the wireless charger. The phone shuts off and restarts at random. The cache partition was not fixed after I did the home/vol up/power button restart the phone. Repeated the steps and did a factory restore. I have to buy a new phone because my phone was destroyed in the heat. I love the phone holder. If you use a wireless charging device, be warned.

👤Absolutely terrible product. I have a friend who has this. She has an enormous phone case and her phone sticks to her mount. When driving, stop or turn, never slip off the mount. I don't stick to jack. I've ordered this product twice, hoping that it was a mistake in my first one. No, no, no! There is a Unless I have a phone case on my phone, it won't stay. If it doesn't slide, the smallest tap will cause it to fall off. This is on the back of a phone case. It is not attractive and the magnet can get damaged. Don't buy this unless you don't mind sticking it on the outside of your phone case. It won't stick at all if you have a thin phone case. It is amazing if the magnet has direct contact. Who wants this on the outside of their phone case? I would give this 0 stars if I could. A waste of time and money.

👤I tested the mount on two vehicles. It takes a lot of effort to remove the mount. It shows how well this thing sticks. I haven't tested it on other surfaces as the idea mounting place for me. My phone stays put even though it has a magnet under it. Some of the roads that I drive on are currently filled with holes from road construction, and the phone still didn't move. Overall very pleased with this so far. It is very easy to use and you don't have to worry about covering your vents.

👤I tried the model first. It didn't stick on my dash. I tried the vent mount. The vent mount was in a two-pack. The mount is small. It should work with the fins, either horizontal or vertical. The mount has strong magnets that hold my phone in an outer case, even on bumpy roads. If the fingers of the mount stay tight against the fins, I will know if the mount is secure in my vent.

👤I was very pleased with how little space this system takes up, after I downsized my vehicle, the existing cradle had nowhere to stick on my dash. It's easy to place because it only takes up one inch of dash space. The phone case has a magnet on it. I've never had the phone come off by itself. There is no wireless charging, but Apple Carplay and Android Auto require a cable connection. I'm happy all around. The disc is 3m long. There are no signs of loosened up after 2 mos.

6. Garmin 010 10747 00 Suction Cup Mount

Garmin 010 10747 00 Suction Cup Mount

For the StreetPilot C500. This cup is used to secure your device to a smooth surface. Not included is the mount.

Brand: Garmin

👤Leave it to the navigator. I can't take the mount off my car because the force on my car is so strong that I can't take it off myself. The plastic lever that was used to tighten the mount fell off the assembly onto my center console. When I put the unit back in place, I noticed it had very little Torque. They have to be replaced once they break. Anyway, now. I can't remove the mount from the lever even when I release it. I would break the plastic on the replacement unit if I tried harder. I usually remove the Garmin from my car at night as the entire unit/suction cup mount and the Garmin itself were falling onto my center console due to excessive heat build up in the morning. Not anymore! ! I put the gps device in my center console storage compartment and leave the mount on the car. In the morning, I attach the gps device to the plastic ball, and that's it. The unit is much stronger than the mount that came with it. If you want to buy a navigation unit, invest $11 and buy the Suction Cup Mount from the store, as it's way more durable and tight. Keep the mount that comes with the Garmin as a backup. The replacement unit fits my device perfectly. The replacement unit will fit the part, so no worries. Thanks to Amazon for keeping the replacement parts in stock and to Garmin for manufacturing the replacement parts that naturally need to be replaced over time. I am very happy with this replacement mount. Don't hesitate to buy it. It's better than the one that came with the unit. It is amazing.

👤I had the cup for about a year. It doesn't stick to the car for more than 10 minutes. I like to use a gps device instead of my phone. I had to go back to my phone because it was embarrassing to have the gps fall into the lap of a client. It does not suck is a bad thing. Very disappointed. It's a pity.

👤This is the same version that I bought before. I'm glad I read that review. I encourage everyone to do the same. It works better than a knock off, but it costs more, so it's better to stick to the windshield. It seemed like the knock off mount would come undone when I was in heavy traffic, I don't know about anyone else. I like to use both my phone's navigation and my phone's navigation just in case the phone loses signal.

👤A year ago we bought a solar powered back up camera for our car. The original mount was not compatible with the dash and would not fit. We ordered a mount that came with a disk that you can mount to a textured surface, then mount the cup directly onto the disk. It has been great so far. The original was thrown away because it was so bad.

7. TIHOOD Windshield Holder Suction Windscreen

TIHOOD Windshield Holder Suction Windscreen

Perfect compatible with all of the gps devices that come with a pattern. The measurement is 2.2inch and the height is 2.5inch. TheBall Socket Suction Cup holds firmly on to your windshield. ExtraGPS mounts are the perfect solution for moving your navigation system from one vehicle to another with less hassle. Don't ever lose your way. This mount will keep your Nuvi gps with you at all times. Attach the mount to your car with the help of a cup.

Brand: Tihood

👤The diameter of the third-party mounts is not specified. They are too small and loose inside the sockets, causing the gps to droop. The defect for this product is mentioned by other reviewers. The seller has a list of compatible devices for my specific model of Garmin. Theuction-power of this mount seemed to be excellent. They were returned to Amazon. I will pay twice the price to try it. This larger cup is designed to provide extra-holding-power for the larger models. The actual diameter of the actual swivel ball is 17.2mm. If you want to fool with it, you can use a loose ball with a ring and a halo of electrical tape.

👤This is the second time I have had to replace this part. Is anyone else having that problem? The first one had a pin that loosened and fell off the car. I replaced it and that one fell after an hour. It's not good when you're speeding. I am happy that this came with two and so far, so good on the first one. It comes off easily. I have a back-up when it bites the dust.

👤The gps mount has a pretty powerful suction. It works well on road trips. It's easy to remove and store when not in use. I would recommend this product to anyone who would like to have an easy way to mount their gps system.

👤The mount holder works well. Most things, as well as I, do not have an amenity. The strength of the force is very good. Most of the time, the mount holder stays in place for weeks or months. When it falls onto the dash, it's not a problem to reattach. If you want to lock the cup back in place, you have to wet the back of the cup.

👤The item's spring snapped after four hours of use. The car's navigation system could have fallen in that place and caused an accident. I wouldn't buy this package again. I only gave it a one star because I couldn't give it a half star. It is very difficult to get to a drop off point to return an item in a remote area when you are on vacation, and Amazon is not helping that. Don't buy this item.

👤The Garmen's original windshield mount needed to be replaced. They will stick to the window, usually just a small amount of gling needs to be done. The ball size is too small, that's the bigger issue. The Garmen will fall out if they stay upright. I have a piece of paper in the cup to help me get a more secure fit on the second one. Quality control isn't there for the money I spend so I'm not too worried about it.

👤The cup works. The ball is small, so the device can move a bit when you hit bumps on the road.

👤I was worried that it would be difficult and expensive to replace the attachment part in our rental car, but I was able to find a two pack that is reasonably priced.

8. Dashboard Beanbag DriveAssist DriveSmart DriveLuxe

Dashboard Beanbag DriveAssist DriveSmart DriveLuxe

Taiwan is the country of origin. High quality manufacturing. The anti slip base is for grip. Every mount has a smooth Mount Pad. Weighted beanbag stops sliding on corners, so you can Mount your Sat Nav without leaving Tell Tale Ring On Windscreen. Only suitable for the 5 inch models, not the larger sizes which have a larger cup. Only suitable for the 5 inch models, not the larger sizes which have a larger cup.

Brand: Digicharge

👤This is a weighted bean-bag. The material on the bottom is slippery. It's not supposed to do the specific thing. Unless your dash is cloth, it's worthless. The bean-bag mount I bought from my company works great. I wanted to save money and use this one. Wrong!

👤The Nuvi stuck to the windshield with a cup. It would sometimes fall off on long drives. The dashboard mount works well. The bottom of my window mount doesn't move when it's on top of the dashboard, because the cup sticks very well. The adjustment allows us to point the screen in a certain direction. If you also have problems with the mount, I recommend this product.

👤The products pad is not big enough for the RV 890, so I bought this. It's too big for a vacuum. I bought a new one that works well. The one I am using is the Amazon Basics, which is a car dashboard mount. Navigators are available at

👤I needed something to take down when I wasn't using, and I hated the ring on the window. I use it for my back up camera monitor when I pull my travel trailer. It does not sit in the tray on a 2020 F-150. Since it is in the dash, it does not move, so I can't comment on that. It's a great alternative to leave a ring on the car when you only use it a few times a month.

👤This holds my Dash camera in place. I don't understand why dash cam are called Dash cam when they are made to stick on a window. I also have a backup camera for my trailer. There are no circles from the cups.

👤Soon to say. But. It may slide around while driving due to the slick bottom. I like that it is heavy and my cup fits perfectly. It should work for me.

👤The product is great at a good price. Very happy. There is a The white tissue paper should be removed for those who are having problems with it sliding. I bet your slide problem is solved once you've done that.

👤It's perfect for the monitor of my camera. I don't need the monitor so I can easily remove it from my dash.

👤This rating was used by me because I found it to be okay. The product was not as good as I thought it would be. I thought the holder fitted all models of cars. The holder on my car is not right and it slides when I corner. I don't think this product is a good one, I think other products with the same function would be better. William Shepherd is a man.

👤Slips all over the place have had to be controlled with two blobs of Blutac.

👤I can sometimes slide when going round corners.

👤It fits on the dashboard of my Honda and doesn't move.

👤Really pleased with the product. Sturdy practical works well.

9. AmazonBasics Dashboard Magellan Portable Navigators

AmazonBasics Dashboard Magellan Portable Navigators

Attach a gps unit to your dash with the Amazon BasicsGPS Dashboard Mount. The bottom of the gps mount is anti-slip. The mount can be used on most car dashboards. It is necessary to hold the gps in place. All window mounts are compatible with the Amazon Basics 1-year limited warranty.

Brand: Amazon Basics

👤There is a sticky silicone disk at the center of the mount, but it is not clear from the description. The disk is covered with a film. The mount will slide on the dash if you leave the protective film in place. If you remove the protective film, you expose a sticky surface that is designed to adhere the mount to the dash. Not what I wanted. I removed the silicone disk. It took a bit of effort, but it came off without a hitch. The mount doesn't slide around when the disk is removed, and the bottom of the mount makes contact with my dash. I thought I was buying the mount in the first place.

👤The price was good, but it was on the dashboard. They need to make it better. It won't stay in place. This could be better than Amazon trying to make their own brands. Who wants navigation to fall off the dash on simple turns?

👤99% of modern dash material is textured dashes, which is why the suction cup dash mount for the cameras from GoPro doesn't adhere to them. I needed an alternative for my low recording car camera. The bean bag gps mount is an excellent alternative. Within 24 hours, the base holder was cured and attached to the dash mount. There are negative comments about the mount. This wasn't an issue. The device has three heavy bean bag arms with two cellophane covers on the bases, just peel them off. I cleaned the base with alcohol and dried it to make sure the camera holder was attached perfectly. The bottom-side of the mount that goes on top of your car is sticky once you remove the cellophane. I use a lint roller to remove debris. The cool thing? I can just pick up my camera and move it to any other car I want. If it works for my camera, it will work for the original intended use of the device. I don't have any complaints.

👤I love this! It keeps the gps in place. I had issues with the gps falling on the floor when it got stuck from the window. The heat in the car is a problem for me. I had an issue with the gps coming off and falling to the floor, but the stay put on the dash does not slide. I had to put double sided tape on the gps to keep it from coming off but it was not due to the mount but the heat.

👤After I removed the plastic film, it's sticking very well and I'm very happy with my purchase.

👤I thought the Amazon car dashboard mount was a great solution to avoid putting sticky pads on my car dashboard, since I bought a nice phone holder. The anti-slip bottom doesn't work well, and the mount is not a friction mount. There are any mounts you want to attach to it. The price is affordable. The product looks like a mount, but it's not. There is a sticky silicone disk in the center of the mount. You need to remove the protective film. There is a The bottom doesn't work well. I was driving and the mount slid around on my dashboard. I didn't remove the protection film on the sticky silicone disk because I don't want to have sticky marks on my car. There is a The weight of the Amazon dashboard mount is not heavy enough to hold the mounts, so they can't be too heavy or long. The dashboard mount tilted even if I used the sticky pad on the bottom of the phone holder. I decided to buy a portable friction mount from a company that is heavier than the one on Amazon. It's more expensive than the Amazon one. It's a truly friction mount, and the anti-slip bottom works well. I can put it on a non-flat surface.

10. APPS2Car Dashboard Friction Magellan Smartphones

APPS2Car Dashboard Friction Magellan Smartphones

The spring lock holder will fit any 3-7 inch gps and cell phones with a unique Anti-slip Jello Block under the mount that will stick on to your dashboard and be easy to clean with water. The device stays on the dash with the help of the weighted body and anti-slip bottom. The APPS2Car Beanbag Mount is easy to attach a gps / cell phone unit to your car, and five slots allow you to adjust your device in multiple angles. One of the best alternatives to mount a car on a truck is to use a cell phone. No cradle needed! No magnets, no harm to your device! The heat made the cup fall off. There is no interference with the air conditioner or the cd player. The Nuvi 1100 1200 is compatible with the portable Friction Mount. etc There is a car mount for all of the phones, including the Note 10 9 and the S10e S9 S8 Note 9. Start 45 55 60 65 500 600 Via 1405 1435 1535 1605 1635 XXL 540 330 350.

👤This would be a good design for a gps holder. This thing does not stay put. I quote: " Find your sweet spot and put down the sticker, then put the unit on it." The thing will become airborne after you take a 2 mph turn.

👤I have been using this for over two years. It holds my car. I drive a 2500HD. I've never had it move. Some of the reviews say that theirs moves around, but I drive around construction sites and roll down the highway, and it has always stayed in place. I'm very happy with this. I don't move my device. On hot sunny days, the mount would fall off.

👤One needs to keep a clear view of the road ahead and to obviate the vacuum holding your gps to a windshield from failing and dropping in traffic and/or repeatedly. It is easy to move in traffic. There is a It's best to wait a while, maybe forever, from sticking it to one spot on the dash or console. You will want to take it with you to another vehicle occasionally, but you will want to change it from time to time.

👤The issues that I had with this Mount may be different to what I've had before. Is it ok for other gps models? The power cord must be connected to use the traffic detector feature of the 2455. The power switch is located at the lop left of the unit and the power cord is located at the bottom left. To allow for minimum clearance between the plug and the grip "tooth" of theGPS Mount while providing access to theGPS power switch, theGPS must be shifted to one side. The grip on the opposite side of the mount does not provide a secure grip to the gps. Photoe 3. Issue #2. There is a non-stick gel substance at the bottom of the gps mount. The bottom surface of the Mount is flat. It was difficult to find a flat surface for the non-slip gel to grip on the front console of my vehicles. A better design would have been a flexible bottom surface. As dust accumulates on the substance, gel-type non-stick substances lose their effectiveness. Positives. The design is easy to store and may be a good mount for many gps, but not for a garmin. The concept is ok, but a few changes away from an excellent gps mount design.

👤I've used this to hold my electronics. It holds both securely. I need to wash the sticky area on the bottom of the mount to remove the dust after the mount slides a bit. It is guaranteed to elicit further security screening when I take it with me when I fly and rent a car. If you want to keep your luggage and carry-on bag free of TSA, you should put it in a screening bin. They can't see through it, so it gets swabbed.

👤I wanted a holder that wouldn't require me to block an a/c vent, so I chose this one. It was easy to figure out because it works like a giant clothes pin and the gps sits securely in the ridged "mouth". It's weighted with a non-slip bottom that's about the size of my open hand, so it doesn't slip when placed on the dash. I didn't want to use the peel-and-stick pad that was on the bottom. I would rather have the option of taking the gps off the dash when it's not being used, and not leaving a sticky glue mess. It's what I needed since the windshield cup on my old gps didn't fit well.

11. ROVE Suction Mount R2 4K Stealth

ROVE Suction Mount R2 4K Stealth

A mount for a car dash cam. It's an excellent choice for your spare car or another vehicle. ROVE R2-4K, Stealth 4K, and Stealth 4K PRO models are compatible. ROVE designed it in the USA.

Brand: Rove

👤I bought this cup to replace the sun that was destroyed in my Akaso dash cam. It worked because it had the same style of cup as the dash cam mounts. I replaced the stock mount with the one that mounts my Akaso. It was a perfect fit. If you use this for another style dash cam than the stock one that comes with, you need to make sure that your mount is the same as the one on the stock one. Great purchase.

👤The original mount fell off frequently. This one is really strong and stays on the road. It hasn't gone through a Texas summer yet, so we'll see how it holds up when it's 1257 degrees in the car.

👤If the original mount fails, these are a good backup.

👤I received my order. It takes time to install and set up. I have installed it and it is working.

👤I wanted it for and it works perfectly. I will buy more for backups.

👤The Lifespan on these cups is about a year and a half. I think it's reasonable. It was easy to replace when I needed a new one.

👤The cup on my dash cam was no longer able to hold it. The replacement was perfect.

👤Since the original broke, this one works like a charm.

👤I needed a new part and it works great. Good price and replacement part.

👤Celle de ma caméra ne tenait plus.

👤An identical unit that had been frequently moved from car to work vehicle wouldn't hold. The new one is strong.
