1. Garmin Approach Premium Virtual 010 02200 00

Garmin Approach Premium Virtual 010 02200 00

Approach S60 has a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel and interchangeable Quick Fit bands, while the large 1. 3” color touchscreen display has a scratch-resistant ceramic bezel and interchangeable Quick Fit bands. There are more than 41, 000 full-color maps. Virtual Caddie suggests a club based on typical distance, wind speed and direction, and where the golfer should aim on the map. You can quickly scroll through the map with Hazard View. The PlaysLike Distance feature accounts for uphill and downhill shots. The PinPointer feature tells you the direction to the pin even if you can't see it. The green view feature allows manual pin positioning, as well as distances to the front, middle and back of the green.

Brand: Garmin

👤I jumped right to this after skipping the S60 and the Approach S6. First and foremost, the watch is very good. A huge display helps to see all the details on a hole. There is a great visibility in the sunlight. It's based on current weather and windspeed and will give you a "plays like" distance. For tournament play, this can be disabled. You can find distances to every hazard by clicking. When on the hole. Pin point flag placement on the green is very easy. Hit your shot, pick your club and move on. You can see your entire round and club distances on a 2D course map. The club tracking set can be used for automatic tracking. The caddie can recommend clubs based on your previous performance after 5 rounds. The swing tempo training aid worked well for me in the previous S6. HR sensor, running, and biking are included. Up to 20 hours with a golf gps on and 14 days without. My S6 and S60 were taken away by this. The only way to update is through the app, as a PC is no longer required. Update 2/25. Adding photos of the golf app after a round is incredible. If I could add another star, I would.

👤This watch does it all. It tracks every shot I take. It keeps a record of the exact location, distance, and direction of every shot I take. You can see the round, club distances, club direction, and other performance metrics when you sync to Garmin. At the 9th hole at my local course, I came up short of the green in over half of the time. It is uphill. I didn't have enough club to get there. The "plays like" feature gives you the distance to the pin adjusted for the slope, wind, and other factors. You can see how far away it is. It can be a bit difficult to get the exact distance using your finger to target an exact spot on the screen's map. It takes a few seconds to slide the target. There are other cool non-golf features, such as weather, wind speed and direction, Sunrise and sunset, Heart rate, and steps.

👤The benefits of the S60 and S40 were merged by Garmin. You can now have the best of everything. You can have fun with distances, battery life and easy to navigate hazard list. This watch is important to me and I would buy it if it was important to you. The s60 was my watch for two years and I stayed with it because of the "plays like" distance. It is important for me to factor in elevation when I play, but this watch's scruple feature was implemented badly, requiring too many button pushes and making finding distances very hit or miss. I was happy, but always wanted more. We ate lunch on the golf trips and had to turn it off at the end of 18. Didn't. My review of the s62 is here. The face is slightly lager. The ads say 17 percent more face area, which is good, but the s60 seemed too small to look at the hole view. Is the s62 bigger? The real benefit is that it is more readable in the sun. The better the sun is, the easier it is to read. I like it so much, it's a winner. I downloaded a free blue face from the poor man's watch store. It looks good in watch mode, and I was able to modify he information. There is a good reason to buy this watch on its own. It's crazy. I only got 1 and a half rounds on the s60, but I get 3 full rounds and some on this watch. It's good. It's 25 percent per 18. I put it back on the charge at 25 percent, but could probably get another round out of it. Time to organize SATs is much better here. This is quicker than waiting for the s60 to find them. I didn't know how good it was to find it so quickly. I wouldn't want to go back. Could this be any better than before? Yes. You get wind of this watch when you open the golf app and sit in the cart. Direction and speed. I factor it in with my human brain, and it helps me to know its 10 mph off the left quartering. There is a Hazard List. My friend has the s40, which is still better. You move through that list of dangers. I hated that s60 didn't have squat. It was difficult to get to the water. I'll take s62. The map will default to the nearest Bunker if you touch it, but there are interactive buttons in the face. You cycle through the nearest hazard. Does it work? Yes. Is it better than s60? No question. I find it odd but it works. It finds the water on my 11th hole and gives me distance to rough? To clear, edge to front and edge to back. It does a better job knowing that I am starting on the 10th hold, and it's noticeably better than my old watch finding it automatically. I like this better. It's not as easy to move it to a different hole as it was before, and you have to do a few things to do it. The s62 needs to access a Change Hold menu and then cycle through the numbers. It works. It's fine. It won't bother you if you didn't have the s60 or s40 It's quibbling if you did, but you don't have to do much. The heart rate is boom. This is great. If only I could figure out why it reads 20 beats higher than my Apple Watch, it would be nice. Is it pulse 2? It's also cool now. You have to stand still for a half minute or so to access the widgets and start reading. And you have it. It's nice. It's odd, but the Golf App states (strokes gained driving, approach, chipping) is a nice feature, as is the stat by course. Without having to input anything. I'm hitting 67 percent of the fairways, as good as DeChambeau, but more than 80 yards shorter. The price is what's bad. It's not terrible because you get a lot of other health activity data. There is a secondary market for the s60 on auction sites, and I got $200 for my s60, which I found to be worth it. It made sense to bring the cost down on the s62 because it will probably be replaceable in two years. Over the years, I've had 4 different golf watches. If you prefer the watch to the phone style devices or lasers, this watch has the best features out there at the moment. The price of Tag Heuer is less than 1500 bucks. Skycaddie has a subscription option, but it's mostly used for e-liquid. I recommend this to the serious golfer who wants things like steps, stairs, flights, heart rate, and pulze ox.

2. Garmin Approach Rangefinder Preloaded 010 02555 00

Garmin Approach Rangefinder Preloaded 010 02555 00

The built-in clip and lanyard loop allows you to mount the compactGPS golf rangefinder anywhere. You can see the yardages to the front, back and middle of the green. You can choose from more than 42,000 courses with wireless course updates. You can easily keep score on the course and upload it to the golf app to participate in weekly leaderboards. The display shows the shape of the green. The ApproachCT10 club tracking sensors can be used with a compatible phone to make automatic game tracking and uploads to the golf app. Even in the rain, the device is water resistant. Up to 30 hours of battery life can be delivered in theGPS mode.

Brand: Garmin

👤The gps does everything it's supposed to. It's an easy product to use. I didn't give 5 stars because I purchased this to clip onto the bill of my hat, not wanting to carry it in my pocket or clip onto my belt, for risk of damaging my belt. If you clip to the bill of your hat, be careful. My hat fell off. I found it missing on the next hole and returned to the previous hole where it was. It's dicey to find a place to clip on. I was able to clip it to the back strap of my hat, where it is readily available.

👤I've used it on the golf course at two different courses. The device is easy to read and I don't need reading glasses to read it. It is black and white. I live in Arizona. I was able to find all of my local courses in the catalogue which was easy to load on to the device. It takes a minute or two before it locates the satellites, but once it does, the numbers calculate and show quickly. The device is not as precise as the finders, but if you know the pin placement, it is accurate. I am an intermediate golfer so I want to be in the center of most greens. It tells you how far away the intermediate dangers are from where you are. The shot measurement feature is easy to find in the menu. I am very satisfied so far.

👤I only used it once, but it's awesome. I like it. It is very easy to use. It can't lose the special charge, but it takes it.

👤It's easy to see the distance to the green. A light weight holds a charge for a long time. If you hit a really good drive, you can take a few extra minutes to track your distance.

👤There are too many steps to start shooting on each hole. It should be easy to push one button. It requires multiple button clicks to start the shot.

👤It works well for how I use it. The battery life is good. The battery meter shows no usage after a round. It is easy to read and enter my scores. I don't know if I'd trust the clip on my belt or any other clothing, I leave it attached to my push cart.

👤You would think that they would use a normal microusb, but they did it with a ridiculous accessory that makes it hard for you to charge it anywhere. Who do they think they are?

👤It was a waste of time.

👤I had to return the first one, but they sent me a replacement the same day I returned the defect one. The second one arrived in test mode and was fixed by the people at Garmin. I love it.

👤Excellent battery life, easy to use.

👤Cumple con las especificaciones. No dice en la descripcin.

👤This does what it says it will do. It is easy to carry and use.

3. Izzo Handheld Water Resistant Display Hands Free

Izzo Handheld Water Resistant Display Hands Free

Their handheldGPS units come with over 38,000 global course maps, no subscription fees, and include free updates. The large, vibrant color display is easy to read and operate.

Brand: Izzo

👤I'm 69 years old. An avid golfer. I spent $349 on a laser range finder two years ago to get more accuracy with the distances I had to hit. The slope reader was included in this thing. They don't tell you what to do when you buy one, you better have a steady hand, or at least be able to brace yourself against something. The "cross-hairs" bounce around like rabbits. It was more frustrating than anything else. The brand name was lousy. There is a I bought the Swami 6000 from IZZO. Imagine a technology that does what it says it will do for under $100.00. It's easy to use, with 40,000 courses in their library, and it's magnetic so it sits right on the frame of my golf cart. The distance to the green front is shown to me when I get my ball. I wanted it to do that. I could keep my score on it, but I need to know how far to get home, I've played many courses before. IZZO, keep it up!

👤The product is great. The new charging system is better than the previous ones. The yardage is always on the front and back of the green. The gps is reliable. You have to wait until you get 60 yards away from the previous hole to record your score. Sometimes it can be a problem. The other things about this gps are great. I would recommend this product to anyone.

👤I bought this to replace a device that stopped working. I was told to send it back with $90 and they would rebuild it. I jumped at the $129 price when I saw it. It has more than I need for my 14 handicap game and does not have a lot of features of the G6. When you wonder to far off the fairway, it tends to switch holes but you can't go wrong. If you are that far off the fairway, how good can you be if you can either go one way or the other? The battery life is amazing. The battery was only 50% down after almost 12 hours of play.

👤The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because when I get close to another hole it jumps ahead and won't stay on the hole I'm on even if I change it. Even though I have a rain cover on the post, the strong magnet has never fallen off my cart. I can play multiple rounds between charges if you change the plug in charge from the magnet charge. This is my third Izzo. I like them. For a lot more money, work as well as others.

👤This is what I wanted. I decided to go with this instead of spending a lot of money on a good one. The gps is off in the area. After two rounds of golf, the battery life is excellent. I only lost one bar as I was on the last hole. The hazard feature is pretty accurate, but I have seen two holes that were missing water hazard. Maybe that's why, both were small creeks. The buttons are easy to press but for me they are fine. It won't come on while in a bag. 100% satisfied.

4. Bushnell Wingman GPS Speaker Black

Bushnell Wingman GPS Speaker Black

The display size is 23 x 23. The first of its kind, the Wingman combines high quality audio with the ability to receive audible directions. BITE magnetic technology makes it possible to mount to the bar of your cart. You can listen to your music on the course while pushing the remote to hear the directions. The Wingman's battery can last up to 10 hours on a charge. The Wingman is one of the products that comes with the Bushnell Golf App. The app gives you a full-color aerial view of the hole layout.

Brand: Bushnell

👤Don't like it. So far this year, I have played 5 rounds with it. I think the magnet is better than average. I have compared the accuracy of the three items. The Wingman is consistently off by 15 yards, even though the laser and cart distances are the same. The ranges are being compared and checked on the same hole. I would like to hit the Wingman button in my pocket. The app continues to run after I'm done with it, and there is no way to turn it off. I played a round yesterday and it still says "monitoring your course location." I can't find a way to turn off. There are some programming bugs that need to be fixed. I would go with a basic speaker for golf until the next generation comes out.

👤I've seen it used and it's awesome. It's useless if you don't have the app for use on the play store. It is a 1 star product until it is fixed. It's a 5 star device and one of the best golf tools I've ever seen.

👤I really like this speaker. I would like to be able to adjust the range finder voice to be louder without having to raise the volume of the music. I enjoy playing music on the course. I want to be aware of other golfers. This would be a 5 out of 5 if there was a way to adjust both volumes. There is a The sound quality is great. I use it in the shop when I am not golfing.

👤The speaker needs some help. It was very accurate on the course. Pick up the course and record it as soon as possible. The hole announcement and speaker quality are very good. The speaker is very cool, but it talks softer than the actual music volume, which is a disadvantage. This feature is almost rendered useless by it. They want an easy way to get yardage and listen to music while swinging in the sticks. The magnetic contact has fallen off the cart on a few occasions.

👤So. I went a couple weeks ago. Was able to use it over the weekend. Before using it, make sure you are aware. I tested the connections and got everything to work out. The sound isn't bad. I started this up as soon as I got to the course, and the issues came after that. The speaker and controller were only used as a pair. You can't use the distance directly from the speaker. I tried many times but still nothing. After I deleted and unpaired everything, I put it all back together. I had the same issue, but finally it started working. I was at Hole three by then. The volume of the music went down after I pushed the button. I had to raise the volume back up. The distance is not exact, but I knew it. I play for fun and having it off doesn't affect me. At this point, not all of the product...

5. SkyCaddie Watch Touchscreen Display CourseView

SkyCaddie Watch Touchscreen Display CourseView

Up to 10 days in watch mode and up to 15 hours in gps mode. There is a 3 year pre-paid worldwide membership to over 35,000 verified course maps. Golf's largest bright color screen 1.39" Full HD graphics for stunning hole and green images. For more detail, zoom in and pan for a better view. The shape of the green is provided by IntelliGreen. The battery can be used for up to two rounds, the heart rate can be increased, and the score can be adjusted.

Brand: Skycaddie

👤The golf gps watch is not perfect. The Lx5 has a bright easy to read face and offers many great golf hole and course information. It's like having a skycaddie device on your wrist. It is easy to use and manipulate screens. It was easy to pair it with the skycaddie app. It may be the most accurate and best one on the market for just golf. It shows you your average heart rate on a separate screen. The Lx5 is not a true smart/fitness watch at this point. garmin or golfbuddy do not offer phone notifications, or any other features. If you are interested in a golf watch that is easy to use and accurate, this is one you should look at seriously. If you're looking for a golf gps with a true watch, you may want to look elsewhere. I would definitely recommend the Lx5. It's a bit pricey but comes with a 3 year skycaddie membership. Time will tell if the build and durability are good. The case is made of plastic, the crystal is plastic and the band is Silicone or rubber. You can expect to get two full rounds from a full charge.

👤My wife bought me a competitor's gps a few years ago and I used it for a few weeks before returning to my Skycaddie. A few months ago someone stole the gps from my cart while I was in the pro shop, I immediately contacted Skycaddie and turned it off. I was told that the LX5 wouldn't be able to read the information and that it would be difficult to swing with a watch on my wrist. I was wrong to think that this thing is easy to read and accurate, I love it. I want anyone to steal this from me. I've read a few questions about the cost, it's part of your game, do you play with a $100.00 driver or wear crappy shoes. You don't. You'll thank me if you buy the damm thing.

👤It took me a long time to get this to work. I realized that the features I wanted weren't in the service I signed up for. I had to upgrade, but you can't even think about it. The new service program cost me another 40 dollars a year. I tried to update that. New drivers and software can be downloaded. Then tried to update. Nope would not work. I tried on another computer. Nope. The instructions require a degree in computer science. I can't get my degree to work. I've been trying to update the watch more than I play golf. I give up. The watch's software doesn't work. If you can, allocate enough time for frustrating efforts to get it to work. I have to spend hours trying to get a refund.

👤This product was purchased by me to use on the golf course. It is a great product, but I was not able to read it. The screen features were hard to interact with due to their size. The SkyCaddie hand held has proven to be a great upgrade to TheGPS I use on the course. The features of the watch and handheld are the same. It is an issue of size.

Brand: Tectectec

👤I bought this because I wanted to leave for Florida for the winter months. It is a basic watch with a front, middle and back range. Pre-ordered. I used my range finder to compare it to my watches. I compared this watch to other people's watches and found it to be spot on. It is very easy to lock in the satellites. A great buy. I use it everyday.

👤I used my ULT-G for two rounds after I received it. The easiest to use device is my third golf range finder. It is easy to provide distances. I have a laser golf range finder. The distances shown on the Golf watch are very accurate, thanks to the laser range finder. I use a Neo Ghost as well. I like the ULT-G golf watch more than my Neo Ghost as I don't have to misplace my pockets to look for the watch and it provides readings faster. The three devices all have the same distances. The range finder is easy to use and has a ready availability on my wrist that will make it my go to device for golf range finding.

👤The watch does everything promised when it is working correctly. When you have a technical issue like my photo shows, and you try to contact their technical support or customer service, you may be disappointed in their handling. I was able to get a refund after several calls to Amazon Customer Service. I left the email response and the follow up with TecTecTec, it was unacceptable. I like the product, but their customer service has made me rethink my investment in it. I don't know if this is a typical incident or an isolated one.

👤The first 9 holes were played using the watch. The app is simple to use and seems to be an accurate comparison to the SwingU app on my phone. It took me a long time to find the course I was on. I played 2.5 holes before it linked up. I'm playing 18 on Sunday and Monday. Will update after that, it seems to find the courses better than the first time I used it. I wish it didn't have a few features, for example keeping score, but it is meant to be a simple, straight forward gps. When my software became unresponsive, tectec support sent a firmware update and it worked again in a few moments.

👤I wrote a review of the golfGPS watch in October. The instructions were easy to follow and the watch was operational in a few minutes. I've been using it twice now. Even in the bright sunlight, readouts are clear. It calculates the distances and automatically loads golf courses near me. I have a range finder and a gps device, and all of them were within 1 yard of each other. The watch is comfortable to wear, less awkward to handle than the other devices, and seems to be very durable, which is a plus. I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks to TecTec. There is an update. My watch stopped working. Within an hour, customer support answered my email. I was given instructions on how to reset the watch by a nice person named Isabella, but he didn't resolve the issue so I had to return the watch. As well as being knowledgeable of her product, she was clear, concise, and professional. I am confident that I will be as happy with my new watch as I was with the original. Thank you, and thank you, TecTec. Bill Brown was a very satisfied customer.

7. Caddie Rangefinder Distance Information Provided

Caddie Rangefinder Distance Information Provided

The components include microusb cable, wall charger. Voice output of distance The battery has a capacity. Continuous use of 54 holes. Automatic course and hole recognition are lightweight. Over 40,000 course from around the world are available for free and can be updated via the VC manager. The distance to the front and center has been adjusted. Back of the Green.

Brand: Voice Caddie

👤I was interested in the distances taken for the slope. I treated myself to the new model because I like my older model. The device worked perfectly and I played several rounds with it. I had an issue with the device after my 5th round, which included the button getting stuck when I depressed it, so the voice kept repeating the distance, which annoyed some of the golfers around me. It was difficult to shut off the device because the button is small and I had to keep holding it to shut it down. I had to put the device in my bag because it kept repeating distance. I tried to return my device to Amazon, but the date was missed by 7 days, so I had to contact Voice Caddie and request an RMA. I hope they replace the device. I had to pay for shipping and insurance. I returned the device on May 11th. They set me up for a RMA after I reached out to the voice caddie. I sent my device back. I received a new device after evaluation. I used my new device for the first time on Thursday and it worked well for the first nine holes, but on the back nine I started to have the same problem as my first device. The distance would be repeated several times when the button got stuck. The button kept getting stuck even after I lifted the back of it to stop it from talking. I contacted voice caddie via email and asked what they could do for me. I'm waiting for a response. I sent my email on May 29th.

👤Don't buy this item. The button will repeat the distance 3 or 4 times when I push it. Sometimes, in the middle of my swing, it tells me that it is measuring the shot distance, when I did not ask it to do so. I did several times during my last round turn it off, but there is no other way to stop it. It is very annoying. It seemed like a good idea, and most reviews were positive. This isn't one of them. This item is not to be avoided.

👤The 1st unit is about 5 years old and the battery will not power it for more than 4 hours on a slow day. I decided to get a new one because I was happy with the old one. I am concerned with the accuracy of the hole as the fairway marker says 125 yds to the center of green, but the green is uphill from the marker with a 25' elevation rise, even though VC4 says it's the same.

👤We have owned a few Voice Caddie 200's, but think this is worth the purchase price. The new VC 4 has a better satellite connection. The VC 200 was constantly looking for the course and we did not loose signal in the first few rounds. The battery life is good for 54. Being able to measure the shot travel distance was a nice feature of being able to get front, back and center distance to the pin. It's helpful when honing in iron distances. The belt clip was a small issue. We ran it through a belt loop because we were nervous that it wouldn't hold up. They were dangling from that lanyard. We probably saved ourselves the search to find it. All of them are very happy with this item.

8. Garmin Smartwatch Lightweight Touchscreen 010 02572 11

Garmin Smartwatch Lightweight Touchscreen 010 02572 11

Smart notifications, estimated activity- tracking features, and built-in sports profiles are included. When you download the golf app on a compatible phone, you will get live scoring, automatic scorecard uploads, and a single place to review all your statistics. Up to 10 days in watch mode and up to 15 hours in gps mode.

Brand: Garmin

👤I'm a professional caddie and need a reliable, accurate gps watch which doesn't go wrong during my loop. This is the most accurate golf gps watch I've owned, but it has some annoying quirks. Here's my list of attributes of the Approach S42. The Approach S42 is the most accurate of all the watches I've ever used. I've compared yardages to both sprinkler head and laser readings, and it's dead on. It's helpful when I'm caddying at a place other than my home course for a USGA tournament. I can make notes in my book when I'm playing a practice round. 2. I'm able to caddie for 36 consecutive holes and still have plenty of battery charge left. 3. The graphics are razor sharp and the readout is visible in every light condition. 4. The watch band fits over a shirt, pullover, and rain jacket. CON: 1. Initial Set-Up was very painful. The instruction manual lacks detail and is not well-written. 2. If you set the watch to lock screen all the time, it won't work during a rainy golf round. When I wear my rain jacket, the gps signal is blocked, and it starts showing weird screens, like a close-up of the green when I'm still 200 yards out. I have a lot of time to get the watch to go back to the regular screen. When I wear it outside of my jacket, the rain causes the touchscreen to change. I have to set the watch to automatically lock during the round, which makes it slow to display yardages to hazards, but that doesn't matter much as I explain below. 3. I don't like the way this watch shows distances to hazards on adjacent fairways which aren't in play. I've stopped using this feature because I use my yardage book and laser sight on my home course. 4. I would like to see the time on the screen during the round. It's hard to switch screens when I need to see how our group is playing. Sometimes when I switch to another screen, it won't go back to the regular screen. 5. The linkage with my computer and mobile phone was erratic, with the random display of text message or email alert sometimes, and nothing 5 minutes later. I have noticed an improvement after I switched to a higher-end phone. This isn't an essential feature for me. If there was a way to have this watch's amazing accuracy, easily-readable face, and comfortable band without all of the not-so-helpful features, I would be a happy caddie. Also, note: I've owned lower-end models of golf gps watches, and they've lacked the accuracy of this model. I'm willing to put up with the quirks because precise yardages are more important than anything else to me.

👤This is the first time I've looked at a golf distance. The square watches are very stylish. I decided on the G42. The feature where it shows the distance of your drive is something I really like. My golf game has been helped by the front middle back green distance readings. I look at the distance to the front of the green and decide how aggressive I will be with my approach shot. I would rather leave the ball below the hole. Before you start the round, make sure you allow the watch to connect with satellites. I haven't tried any features like step counter. Great investment!

9. Garmin Approach Compact Handheld 1 3 Inch

Garmin Approach Compact Handheld 1 3 Inch

The pocket-sized design is convenient to place in your pocket. There are Hazards. Sand traps, water Hazards and more are identified by course targets. Satellites are quickly acquired by gps to show distance to greens, dangers, and doglegs. The green view shows the shape of the green. Stat Tracking keeps track of Fairways Hit, Greens In Regulation and Putts Per Round. The display size is 23 x 23.

Brand: Garmin

👤Very accurate and easy to use. I use a laser and have done a lot of comparing the readings with the laser. There is a It is easier to stick this in your pocket and get a quick reading than it is to use the laser. I feel bad when I have to go to the bag every time I want to get the laser. I like to get the front and back of the green yard. I know my min/max clubs based on the pin placement. I only care about the distance and greens front/middle/back readings. A friend of mine played a round with him and he bought himself one.

👤It's easy to use and see. I wear reading glasses but have good vision. Since I don't wear glasses to play golf, I wanted something that I could read, would give me basic yardages quickly, and was light and small. This fit the bill. I can get three rounds out of a charge. It's easy to use, but you have to work a few menus to get things.

👤When I went back a half hour later, I found that the Phantom had been Magnetized to a golf cart and was gone. I decided to try it. It's accurate and the battery charge lasts through a few rounds. It's not as easy to use as the Bushnell, and the proprietary charging cable means that I have to drag it around with me all the time. Is it possible that a simple micro-usb could be used by Garmin? That would be hard.

👤It was easy to use. Accurate. When I use my laser to determine if the pin is front or back, I compare it to a gps device that shows it is good to within a couple of yards. The most valuable thing is the distance to the hazard. It is easy to press the advance button if it doesn't advance automatically to the next hole. Each round of 18 holes uses about 25% of the battery. I charge it every 3 rounds, just shut it off when I remove the battery from my laptop. I bought it because it was on sale. It's worth the money and more convenient than my laser.

👤I like using the scoring feature with the stat feature. I wanted those functions the most. I can't play golf with a watch on, so this unit was the best choice for me. Some useful information is left out of the manual. They don't explain how to get back to the distance to green page after moving the pin, but I did that once last week and missed the screens to enter scoring data. I'm not sure how to get back to the right hole if you get off a hole. I assume the up down keys, but not sure if that worked. There is a The second image on my page is a G10 screen with yards for Driver, 5-iron, Sand wedge. I don't know how to get to that information, I haven't seen it on my G10 and it's not in either manual. It is a little confusing. It would be helpful to know where the scorecards are stored, because only the last scorecard is kept. It does what I wanted from the unit, so I give it 4 stars, even though it would have been easy to make it a 5 star device.

10. Garmin Approach Preloaded Courses 010 02472 02

Garmin Approach Preloaded Courses 010 02472 02

A high-resolution sunlight-readable display is included in the new round watch design. There are more than 42,000 courses in the world. Provides yardages to the front, back and middle of the green. You can keep score on the watch and use the app to participate in the weekly leaderboards. Track your score and how far you hit with each club with compatible ApproachCT10 club tracking sensors. The battery life is up to 30 hours.

Brand: Garmin

👤The screen of the watch is clear in either black or white, and it finds the course faster than any other watch I have had. The buttons are the same as the Approch s10. It is simple to use. The dial is round. Someone who wants a clear visible dial and operational speed is going to love this watch.

👤The best golf watch I have ever purchased. It's so light. It's spot-on, compared to myNikon. The battery life is the best part. Really? I still have 98% battery life left after a 4 hour round.

👤It's a good watch, it's very accurate. The hazard and layup distances are difficult to use. It's fine on the golf course, but can't be used as a daily watch. There is no light, so you can't see the time at night, and it doesn't do anything else. I would have saved $90 and bought the 10 instead of the 12 if I had it to do over again.

👤Knowing the distance to the pin is a key element in club selection as a new golfer trying to lower my scores. I used a flag laser, but it was not helpful in my playing. Get it out, find the flag, then put it away. The watch seems to be within a yard. I have a hole locator for my main course. I play the middle of the green on other courses. Even when I couldn't see the flag, I knew which club I wanted. Playing other courses with a version that shows the layout of the hole might be useful. I don't need that feature as most cards show an aerial of each fairway. I like this watch. As I walk up to my ball, I glance at the watch and only have to pick a club. There was no break in my rhythm. I forget that watch is on my left wrist as I swing. It lasts three games, so as I play more, I may raise it to 5 stars for a basic watch.

👤It's very easy to use once you get used to it. When you get to the golf course, tell it you want to play and it will load the course for you. You're ready to go if you indicate which tee your hitting from. It will give you the info you want regardless. You can see the front, center and back of the green as well as the dangers. There are no data fees for the watch. I only have it for a couple of weeks and can't comment on battery life.

👤The product is nice. The original golf watches were stolen and replaced with S12's. We play golf for fun. These were perfect for everyday golfing needs. The are light and efficient. They give us accurate information that is all we need. The accuracy was confirmed by a gps in the golf cart. This is a basic watch.

👤It's all you need to play golf. You can focus on your game. The battery life is good. The display is clear in the sun. It only took a few minutes to view the course in more detail. The large watch is less stable on the wrist because the strap is not as wide as previous models.

11. Izzo Swami Kiss Golf Rangefinder

Izzo Swami Kiss Golf Rangefinder

The battery can be used for up to two rounds, the heart rate can be increased, and the score can be adjusted. Their golf gps is the most accurate golf gps on the market, it has over 38,000 global course maps, auto course recognition, and individual shot distance measurement for a better golfing experience. The golf range finder has two ways to display distance: front, center and back, or a new, simple mode that only shows distance to the center of the green. The Score Card Tracker is a golf scorecard tracker that has a water-resistant body and a microusb charging port. Their golf distance rangefinder with an easy-to-read external display has a magnetic hold that allows you to mount the laser to any cart frame.

Brand: Izzo

👤Twice so far, I have used it. Both on the same charge. My friend's device is more expensive than my one. I need front, middle and back yardages. It's a plus that the distance is a plus. I can stick it on the post of the cart while riding a golf cart. It shouldn't fall off under normal driving conditions. I attached it to the bottom of one of my fairway metals because I couldn't figure out where to put it. My first Swami was this one. I'll be happy if it lasts as long as my first one. I'm pleased with my Swami so far.

👤There isn't enough light on the readout to be able to read in the sun. Izzo engineer talked to them and they recognized the problem and were working on a display, but it was worthless on the golf coarse.

👤The unit is small and hard to use. It's difficult to see the faint numbers. It needs to be more clear.

👤I like that I can keep it in my pocket.

👤This is the replacement for a Golf Buddy. This one has a bigger screen and is supposed to identify dangers. It does ID dangers, but distances are hit or miss. I don't mean to go by a yard. The Swami read 220 while I stood at the 150 marker. The correct course was loaded up. A player in our group told us we were 150 out. I used it at another course and had no issues. I used it side by side with my Golf Buddy and they read at the same time. There are online updates.

👤The battery does last a round of golf. It is difficult to set it up for play in bright sunshine. The on off button is not protected, so it can be turned on or off just being in your pocket.

👤The golf cart bar has a battery that lasts a long time. I can't see the numbers. The screen isn't bright enough. It is very difficult. I told them what I had written. They called the company I bought my Swami from. So... They do not support their product. I am very disappointed.

👤It was easy to setup. This is a very good product and a good price, I recommend it, it has a long battery life and is very accurate.

👤The golfGPS that fits in your pocket has not only the yardage to the green, but also the water, woods, and Bunker! I can get 3 or 4 rounds of 18 holes.

👤Parties de golf. Pour se rendre Au drapeau, licitations accrue.

👤The screen is hard to see. That is a sticker on the screen, so it looks good in the head. Disappointing.

👤The display was hard to read because I don't play golf with my glasses on.
